Absolutely NOT an urgent care center. 4 hour wait time with 6 patients in line. 15 min rapid test takes an hour if youre lucky. You would be better of going 10 mins down the road to the ER
My 4 year old son was bitten by a tick. I knew I could have removed it myself but I thought maybe I should let the professionals handle it. After a long wait my son (who was totally calm up to this point) was traumatized by Stephanie Stephens. She ripped at the tick 3 times and my son was screaming so hard he almost vomited. I looked and she hadn’t touched the tick only ripped out hair. I tried to help hold hair back. She continued to miss the tick. She finally goes “oh I can get help.” And calls in another woman who decides we should shave his hair (after half the tick is ripped off and half stil remaining.) so they shave and rip at it again. I can clearly see the head remaining. I asked for the tick for testing but of course that’s impossible since it’s like 10 pieces. It took her then 20 minutes to think about the prescription. Then 20 mins for the lady to get my papers to print. Something that should have taken 15 mins took now FOUR HOURS.They need to take notes from urgentcare in Pittsburgh. My aunt had a tick removed next day. She was there less than one hour, they removed the whole tick put in container alive with a card showing in detail all the ticks and what to watch for, her medication right there and she was on her way.It’s sickening that the tick came out this way giving it a chance to spit etc for more risk of infection and disease. And she called the script in incorrectly- it took me 4 days of back and forth with the pharmacist to figure that out. I had to ASK what to watch for as I was not told by the doctor. Stephanie Stephens should not be seeing patients until she is properly trained. I regret my decision to go here 100%.
Shared my date of birth over 6 times during the check in....Stated on multiple occasions that because of family history i felt that i was going to need an MRI. CVS NP ruled out carpal tunnel, suggested i get an MRI. Made an appointment to get a PCP (but was 3 weeks away and my conditioned worsened which is why i am here...) since the last time i had one was my pediatrician. The nurse (because heaven forbid i actually get to speak to an actual doctor...What again did i spend a $50 copay on?) i spoke with in a nut shell said forget family history, forget the rapid onset of the numbness....you need a steroid and this will all go awayI literally went in stating that the only reason i was there was so i could get an approval for an MRI, only to be charged the $50 copay an hour before i was even seen, to only be told We dont order thoseTLDR If you have anything more than a common cold, then just wait to see your doctor or go to the emergency room (and not the one in indiana, pa)Oh and i did love the receptionist constantly laughing and having a side conversation while she asked me my check in questions.This place should be shut down.Edit: PCP has prescribed an EMG only because insurance will need it to approve an MRI. Funny that an actual doctor knew that twisting, contorting, and stretching my neck after i described my symptoms was not the best course of action.Edit: To the response from owner...i dont want anything to do with you ever!. Ive described my experience exactly. Nothing more needs said.What i do want is my $50 co-pay back. They were told during check in what i was there for, and was told (only after charging me) oh we dont order those.
Went for a TB test, was told it would not be a long wait as I only needed a nurse and not a provider. An hour later......still sitting here. At least be honest about wait times!
Two days ago I went in for my Covid test, told I would get an email and a call — never got an email or a call. So I called today, I was put on hold 5 minutes, transferred to a man who then said my name and birthday, then put me on hold again, a women picked the phone up, was NOT speaking to me, but saying “oh we have nothing” to someone in the background, then I heard the click and the phone hung up (mind you I called the number 3-4 times prior and got the “welcome to verizon wireless” message each time). I immediately called back and BRANDY answered and I said hi I’m the one you hung up on, she then started LAUGHING at me and saying oh we did not *cackling* then finallllllly decided to give me my results after three transfers and a HANG UP. This is the most unprofessional places I’ve ever been to. Unfortunately the only place to go other than IRMC. Looks like I’ll be going to Chestnut Ridge where they don’t laugh at patients and actually conduct business in a manner that helps and provides care.
There’s a reason that they have a 2.6 stars! I’m just thankful I was not in need of care due to sickness! I was there for a rapid Covid-19’s test because of travel, myself and family! We wait from 445 to 7pm before only two of us got the test! The receptionist at the front desk could not of been any ruder! I called at 9am to make sure that they had the test and why I needed them and it was not a problem then! Was told to come on as early as we could! If they would of been kind enough just to say you will never get a group of four tested we would of went else where! And believe me we will never return! And I’m letting my travel agent know not to send any more of her clients there! I truly feel awful for any one who was in need of care because they are sick! Because we was told at 445 not to call till 6 and we maybe they could get us in !
If I could give them a zero, I would.I wasn’t there for COVID. Was there for a dislocated knee. The receptionist said that I could check in from my car upon arrival, but not before I arrived on site, even though I was 5 min away. She FAILED to tell me that there was a 3 hr wait from my car. I ended up not being seen. Total fail Med Express and IRMC! Please tell people the truth so that we can CHOOSE our care and provider. I’ll never come back, but with a 3 hr wait time, you likely don’t care.
I actually found this place to be very clean and efficient with friendly employees that communicated well and were very efficient. Yes, the wait was quite long, which I thought was normal for any urgent care. However, the employees kept me updated about the wait time. Once inside, I was seen quickly and the nurse practitioner was very helpful. The front desk got my prescription ready with my preferred pharmacy right away too. I would definitely return.
Great staff! They were all extremely nice and professional! It was a bit of a wait to get in to be seen, but once we were called, it was very streamlined and quick.
My treating provider was Brenda Amico according to my paperwork. Back in mid August, I came in and tested positive for covid. I was almost immediately walked out and told not to touch anything (my hands were already together because I wasnt planning to touch anything and didnt want to spread it anyway). I felt like I was treated like I was disgusting trash that needed thrown out. I got I hope you get better from the lady (guessing the treating provider) that walked me out - as if I wasnt already scared to death. I was told not to test any of the other 7 people in my household and just to assume they had it too. The health department was not even notified of my positive test so there are at least 8 people in Indiana county that are not part of the statistics... wonder how many more 🤔. Also my doctor was not notified and was upset that this place did not tell him (I called him 7 days later when I developed symptoms of pneumonia) and that no medicine was offered to help ease any of my symptoms (I had to ask the lady for something for my sore throat). I am extremely dissatisfied with the treatment I received here. These people are supposed to at least act like they care when you are sick and I was treated like scum. No matter what you are sick with, you should never leave a doctors office feeling like you are a nasty piece of trash because of the nurse or doctor that treated you.
I was there due to my hand being swollen from getting poked with a box cutter. She just looked at it thats it ...no x ray to be sure there was nothing in it and was not given a tenuous shot. Thrg asked if I had one in the last few years I said no . this place is getting to be a joke
The place was clean and even though we had to wait in our vehicle for several hours before being seen the ladies on the phone that registered us were very nice. The nurse practitioner that we were seen by however was very rude. Came in to tell us we had COVID and then tried to rush us out the door. I asked if there was something they could give for the symptoms, she asked me mysymptoms and then just stood there and stared at me and stated if I had the vaccine my symptoms wouldnt be as bad, at that point in time I told her I was vaccinated.. Said she could give me amoxicillin for my sinus infection and I said you just said I had COVID then said I had that on top of COVID, gave me my husbands paperwork twice instead of my own and rushed us out the door with nothing. I went there to be seen and to get some sort of relief for my sickness. I didnt go there to sit for several hours just to be told I had covid and rushed out the door
This med express is inviting, clean and they are each very friendly. I was able to get any/all treatment needed
Go anywhere else but here! The staff makes it abundantly clear they dont want to listen to your symptoms and history of illness or injury. They simply want to prescribe you low grade medication and send you away with a hefty bill. The only physical examination you will receive is having your blood pressure taken. Never have had a positive experience going here for work or home related injuries. I will go to emergency room before I step foot in here again.
Just brought my daughter for a simple drug test and waited a extremely long time outside then she went in and waited another long time it is supposed to b med EXPRESS. Its sad to know they dont care to help people no matter what the issue is in a timely manner . And my daughter was treated very rudely she asked a simple question and was answered rudely and the staff walked away from her NEVER NEVER GO TO MED EXPRESS IN INDIANA PA u will b treated less than a person
Terrible. Where do I start. dirty floors and Nasty receptionists who act like I have the plague when I walk in. Sanitizing 5 times in the 2 minutes I spoke to them 6 feet away with a “mask.” You should probably just drink the sanitizer if you’re so worried. Got a covid test for preemptive purposes. and they never asked for my email to give me the results. Then they have the audacity to tell me they only call when it’s positive and I have to log on to see my covid results. Log on??? Excuse me??? How am I supposed to do that when they are supposed to ask my email? It’s in the papers they gave me. They never did ask for my email. Woman sat there for 30 seconds before realizing I was standing there because she was staring at her phone. Too bad medicine has gone so backwards. Yeah let’s hire under qualified people to give me medical advice. Great idea. 0/10 this is worse than Avets for animals. I’ll treat myself next time.
I was originally concerned, I’m from out of town, saw poor ratings but got bad enough to go regardless. I was completely happy with the care I received beginning with reception (safety measures in place), was seen first by nurse Debbie, then by nurse practitioner Michael. I have had some of the top docs in my lifetime and would go back to this urgent care again. I guess mostly the unhappy leave reviews. This one deserves a good review. 😊
Went in got a Covid test. Tested positive. No big deal. The pa said I have to go to my family doctor to get like a anti body pill. I said why is that. She said we don’t prescribe that. So it’s not a narcotic it supposedly helps you recover faster. You don’t need a special course to prescribe it. No prior approval needed. I said right now my family doctor retired so I don’t have that option. She said go to the er then. That’s unethical as it gets. Actually I think since I’m off for Covid I’m gonna take this to the next level.

Completely unprofessional and rude. At least two staff members lacked ID badges. Waited over an hour for a simple Covid test and had to pay a full visit fee! Test result was negative but nurse practitioner handed me a letter stating results were positive! Said she must have copied the wrong letter and it was “only one word that was wrong”. That one word makes a huge difference! Will never go back.
Used to be ok, until IRMC had to dip in .7 people in front of me..... Over a 2 hour wait. One person treating patients on a Sunday. I refused to have my 9 month old treated after the wait time. Long time to sit there with an active baby. Do better! No one deserves to sit that long. Just as bad as the ER!
Great place NOT to take a loved one for medical care. FIRST you will need to call and make sure they are not paused due to covid....friggin people are sick...help them or get out of the profession
If your choice is to die or go to this med express, choose death. They are very unorganised and sloppy, calling them professionals is an embarrassment to the Heath care community. They only care about covid -19 regardless if you have any real problems. Do not come here.
Absolutely worst place I’ve ever been. Sit in the waiting room next to one other person for hours just for myself to read letters of a wall for a eye exam for a physical. They literally waste your whole day on something that could be addressed in 5 minutes anywhere else. Poor customer service! And most but not all, most nurses have the rudest attitudes I’ve ever dealt with when all I wanna do is get in and get out. Wouldn’t getting customers in and out be more beneficial than having them sit around all day risking catching “coronavirus” from being around other people with the in and out traffic?..
What an awesome resource for Indiana, PA! MedExpress on Oakland Avenue was my primary care for about 3 years and is still that for my wife ( I know that is not their intention but we get spectacular treatment over there). We go there at least ten times per year with the kids and all. The cleanliness has been well noted. Please do not whine about the HIPAA compliance procedures and paperwork - it is the law. The care and friendliness of the staff is remarkable and pretty consistent in my experience. If I call and ask how full the lobby is, they will tell me. The other urgent care at the hospital makes you drive out to see if they are crowded, they tend to be rude, and we do not recommend them.The follow-up from MedExpress is extraordinary, and really sets them apart. I almost always get a live call several days later to make sure everything is working out okay. I would especially recommend them for internationals and non-native speakers, as they really do their best to quickly process insurance eligibility, and explain their diagnosis clearly. We recently took a student from Thailand, who was deeply impressed with the kindness and competence of the physician and staff.
I came in to get a COVID test. All initial questions and paperwork was completed over the phone, in which I informed them I had my infant with me. As per their policy, I waited in the car until they called for me to come in. My daughter started crying so I took 5 minutes to soothe her before bringing her in the building. Within just 3-5 minutes, a staff member called me and said in a very nasty and unprofessional tone, “Are you in here yet? We are waiting for you.” I didn’t appreciate being rushed or talked to in that tone of voice, especially considering I am worrying about potential COVID with a newborn.However, the nurse practitioner was excellent. I am adding an extra star just for her.
Never asked for my email. Discharge papers say they have to ask for your email to give your TEST results. Never did. Do your job. Not express. Nothing to do with health and medicine. This place needs REMOVED.
Staff is severely lacking social skills. Not one was plesant and wanted to argue, all I needed was a drug test. They need to find a new job if they dont like their current one. No one said hello, how are you, have a good day etc. The lady that did my drug test was the worst. Im not a junkie and dont appreciate being treated as one.
Stopped by yesterday due to a terrible flair up with my GERD. Dr. Cornman was the best! Even with being the only doctor there at the time and being extremely busy, her bedside manor was outstanding. She helped tremendously!! Wish there were more doctors like her!!!
Unlike some of the other reviewers, nobody was rude to me. However I paid 119$ to sit in a room for over an hour before getting seen by anyone. I was minutes from just walking out. If i was to exclude the sitting in a chair portion of my visit. I spent 119$ for ~5 minutes of work. I would avoid this place if possible.
Warning do not go here If you want them to take your money and run. Literally no diagnoses,no relief just a 161.00 charge even after disputing with company.I went to my primary doctor the next day and only charged me 63.00 and a proper evaluation.They gave me relief and a proper diagnoses. I don’t understand why a company like this is allowed to charge when a service was not provided. Must be the barely got out of school doctors they place to maximize profit and scam customers. I only gave 1 star due to a fact a warm body was present.
There were three people ahead of me on a Sunday morning, but I couldn’t sit up straight without nausea so I asked if there was anywhere to lie down while I waited for the doctor. The one low-to-the-ground bed was taken, but instead of triaging me and making me wait in the waiting room, they gave me an exam room. Everyone was friendly, and I was impressed with my doctor. I’m normally not a fan of male doctors, but Dr. Berkson was very kind and gave me the attention I needed. Much better experience than going to the ER. It took a while since there were people ahead of me, but that’s at any doctor’s office and they accommodated my nauseated self by letting me lie down as soon as I was triaged.
Staff is always rude when I come here. Always a 2 hour long wait even when parking lot has little cars if any.

Was told of a past due balance almost 5 years later, they had the wrong insurance billed, they also sent these bills to the wrong address MULTIPLE TIMES and told me in I was told in person a few months prior that I had a balance, they will falsely document in your chart that you were notified of a balance. Too bad this is the only urgent care in town now because I always have nothing but problems with this place.
Was just their today jan. 18 2021 . For a covid test the staffing was amazing also doctor and nurses were all sweet. Treated me like a real person. Comfort me when I was down. You dont get that everyday. Thanks med express
I went here on Sunday after a mountain bike crash in Yellow Creek State Park. The staff and nurses were friendly and efficient. I got treated right away, and had plenty of attention. Dr. Robertson sutured my eyebrow. According to my GP, she did a very, VERY good job with the sutures, and I can expect the best possible cosmetic results. The crash sucked, but the treatment at MedExpress was top-notch. Thanks!
Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. I do not recommend going here. Nurses were nice but the doctor didnt even try. She was unprofessional and didnt really seem to want to figure out what was wrong with my child. I was so upset and ended up going to the er which I should of just done in the first place. Waste of my time and $50.
The girl in Indiana,Pa that is answering the phone is certainly no doctor Im sure. But today took it upon herself to tell me that coming in to possibly see about getting a z pack was out of question. Ive been in bed with covid for a week and just wanted to see if I could get some stronger medication. That is not her call to make, nor should she be telling potential patients this.Very Unprofessional..
This is supposed to be an urgent care not let’s pause on taking anymore patients because of having only one provider, then get another provider not everyone wants To go to the er for a non emergency visit. This place is ridiculous and stupid.
I visited MedExpress earlier this week for a respiratory infection. I was informed that there is only one doctor but that their were only 4 people in front of me. An hour and a half later I was able to be seen. I was prescribed medicine and went home to rest. When I woke up feeling worse I called at 8 a.m. when MedExpress opened and asked to speak with the doctor. I was informed that a doctor would call me back between appointments. Mid-day I had not received a call so I called again. I talked with the same receptionist who informed me that someone would call me before the end of the day. A day later still no return call. Since I was feeling so poorly and received some poor care I went to the hospitals Urgi-care. Not only was it less expensive, I was seen in 5 minutes. They were much more heavily staffed. I explained to them that MedExpress had sent out labs for me. They quickly explained they could do new tests including x-ray on site and there would be no need to wait for results. They also gave me a breathing treatment to help alleviate my symptoms. None of this was even offered at MedExpress. I would highly recommend Urgi-care over MedExpress. Better customer service and treatment. I should add Urgi-care took me off all medicine that MedExpress prescribed and got me on new prescriptions immediately. I have already improved and I am still waiting for a doctor from MedExpress to return my call which doesnt matter now.
My daughter went to the Indiana one and was denied treatment due to she does not have a credit card in her name. But she has a chime card but no balance. She has UPMC for You so no copay. This is not right to deny treatment. I will never recommend or ever go to a medExpress.
This place is a hit or miss! Ive seen some decent doctors there. We dont jump and see a doctor but when needed, this place is our first go to, but apparently nurse practitioners can treat you now at facilities like this. I feel that when you come in, they should inform you a medical doctor is not present, and an NP will be providing your care. My son was seen today by a friendly NP, no offense to her, she was lovely, but wasnt confident and seem fairly new. She didnt give much of an explanation of the issue we were there for. She also had a medical scribe with her that no other doctors have ever had. Thought it was a bit strange. Unfortunately I probably wont be back or Ill ask if doctors are there that day before checking in.
This establishment doesn’t even deserve one star. Before coming here I had a lot of concerns do to reading the reviews prior. Well let me just say; the reviews don’t lie. I will NEVER be returning to this location ever again. This place needs to be shut down.
Went to get a COVID test 2 and a half hours later still sitting here won’t let me leave no results for a 15 min test that takes 1 second to actually do. What a joke.
They staff is very friendly. But the wait time is ridiculous! They call for you, you sit and wait. Call for you again, sit and wait. I only came here bc my childs Pedatrician was closed due to the weekend. But my goodness, I shouldve just went to the ER. The last thing a very sick and tired child wants to do is sit and wait for over an hour. And the place isnt even that busy! Maybe you should consider getting another doctor or some staff...?
I usually go here since my PCP doesnt leave hours for emergencies. This last time I went was with a doctor Ive never seen there before (Susan Marchezak). I went in to get an antibiotic because I had been severely congested with a cough for days. (My mom is an RN and said that I needed one) This doctor told me that an antibiotic isnt needed even though my mucous was very dark (said to only be worried if Im coughing up blood). I ended up getting prescribed a decongestant and a cough suppressant and told to come back if it doesnt get better. Well, I am a college student, I spent all of my money on my copay and to get the scripts filled. It has been 3 days since my visit and Ive only gotten worse. They gave me a call to check on my progress and offered for me to talk to the doctor and see if I could come back in (and spend another $40 copay). When I said I dont have the money she said the doctor maybe able to call in an antibiotic to my pharmacy, but I dont have any money at all. I much would have preferred to get an antibiotic than a cough suppressant if I would have been correctly diagnosed in the first place. So now i can just hope that I get better eventually, while I have been missing class and work due to her messup. Im going to have to remember to call and see what doctor is working before I go in next time, or just go to URGICARE. She was very friendly, but doesnt seem to know what shes doing.
I went in a couple weeks ago with 2 incredibly sprained ankles and a horrible cough and after waiting over an hour because it was busy, which I understand I saw a doctor named Susan. I cant remember the last name. She saw me, had my ankles ex rayed and we talked about the symptoms I was having with my cold; cough, throat and ears hurting. She of course says that Im perfectly fine and that I just have allergies. I am well aware I have allergies I take medicine every day for it and here I am 4 weeks later with no voice ( again), horrible horrible cough, and a massive sore throat with my ears hurting so bad. Since another 20 dollars was taken out of my account by this place leading my copay to be 50 dollars, which isnt even right I cant go back because I am a college student with basically no money. I definitely recommend calling to see who is working before you go because youll get zero help with what youre dealing with.
I smashed my thumb this morning. It wasnt broken, but cut open & the nail was damaged. I went so it could be cleaned out properly so it didnt become infected. I was denied service because they couldnt verify my insurance. BS!!! It is all computerized. I know the real reason...I had already reached my deductible for the year since I have stage 4 cancer. That simply means no deductible for them. They will see me again if it becomes infected & I end up in hospital on IV antibiotics!
The building is very clean and well lit, and the staff were all very efficient and pleasant. I was in and our in under an hour despite being one of 5 people in the waiting room when I arrived. While I hope I wont need to, if I must, Ill be visiting again whenever I have a medical need.
My mom took my 8 month old son on 10/6 because he had been sneezing, coughing, and very mucusy. I had feared he would have an ear infection. His pediatrician is open limited hours, and always during the hours I work, so this was always my go to. Not anymore. My mom went there and they told her viral nothing they can do. I felt so bad for my little guy but trusted their diagnosis. Well 10/7 rolls around and I get a call from his daycare that he needs to be pulled till he can see a doctor. I had to leave work and race to get him so I could see his actual pedi since Fridays he is only in till 12. Well turns out he had both ears infected and his eyes were both infected. Never again will I trust medexpress for anything. While yes the hours are so convenient its not convenient for misdiagnosis, illnesses to continue and having to miss work anyways.
Very clean and new facility. I went for a TB test that was required for school. I was in and out very quickly. The TB test was $30, but what do you expect? Obviously you should get a family doctor for the regular stuff, but the MedExpress is perfect when you need something on the spot.
This is of no fault of the staff, more of the establishment. Before even recieving treatment, I was asked for my co-pay, which was $80, too much for a cut from a vegetable peeler that needed checked out. Before moving on with any questions, I was informed that I owed $120 of deductable from a previous visit in 2013. Im a college student and the $80 co-pay alone would make it difficult to buy groceries, let alone an additional fee of $120, which I never recieved a letter, email or call for before, and I had been to med express since 2013. Unacceptable. To med-express, youre nothing but a dollar sign. I will never go there again. Currently recieving treatment at Indiana Hospital and havent been asked about money once. Clearly the better option.

Wouldnt recommend at all! Two people have told me about the terrible diagnosis, treatment and prices that they experienced! My partner had went for a serious cold/infection and they only gave her steroids! No antibiotics! They had also highly priced a member of my family for a treatment of a bloody nose that didnt help her at all. Dont recommend to anyone who needs a real solution fast! Best place to go in time of urgi care...chestnut ridge!! Save your time and money and dont turn to Med Express.
Every time you come it’s a two and half hour wait. Yet you can’t get on the waiting list and go get something to eat or anything and come back in about 2 hours. If you do that you’re off the list.
We went here after my 4 year old son burnt his hand. We are not originally from here so we chose med express over the local ER. Not all of the staff we encountered were bad, the registration women were great and the nurse that did the vitals and eventually wrapped my son’s hand was wonderful! However the practitioner that met with us walked into the room, not even introducing herself or shutting the door behind her (My son is still crying and yelling that it hurts) and says in a very accusatory way “well what happened? We’re gonna have to send you to West Penn.”. She had not even looked at my sons hand nor had she actually let Him or I answer what had happened. She then looks at his hand and again said we have to send him to west penn. Which I attempt to clarify “you mean we have to go to Pittsburgh. It’s that bad?” Her response in a condescending way “well do you know any other pediatric burn centers”. She then leaves the room to “call west penn” in the meantime my son is STILL crying and saying it hurts! She then comes in and takes a picture of his hand to send to west penn. This all takes 10 mins or more before she finally allows the nurse to come in and wrap his hand. She also was not going to prescribe us the burn cream until I requested. I will NEVER take my child there just because I don’t want to chance having this same woman to care for me or my family member. I work in a hospital and am appalled by the lack of care or compassion for my child!
All staff members were friendly and helpful. The NP, Megan Cornman, was very informative, kind and listened. She was outstanding during my visit.
This is my favorite med express and my go to place. I always ask the doctors if they can be my pcp because I trust them so much. They are really the most caring doctors in Indiana, pa. They always listen to me and solve whatever issue I may have.There is never too long of a wait and the facility is clean. I do recommend filling your prescription elsewhere as it is likely to be cheaper at a pharmacy.
I waited over an hour... Theres two other people here. And they were here before me.Its MedEXPRESS. I just needed a COVID test because work requires it. I shouldve gone to CVS.
I went to have a D.O.T physical for my job. They asked for a letter from my doctor about my meds. My doctor sent 3 letters to them and even was told what to write. They lost them said it wasn’t good enough and wanted something different each time. The doctors are never there twice and I got tired of the runaround. Went somewhere else and had no problems.
Went in today for cough aches pain and sore throat.checked in at 310 and at 448 still no doctor.i open the door and ask the doctor/physican and he knew I was upset and said I wont see you for another 30 mins....thats crazy!!!?I didnt go to emergency room because I didnt want to take a spot there for a very serious concern and thats why we have med express.???? Right!!!? He showed no remorse or a care in the world and the nurse on staff was just as bad .....no people skills !!!!Im sorry you get paid very well for your job and when I go to urgent care I expect someone that cares and wants to please her people.thats what we do when we choose to work for the public...these two people need to be replaced or written up.i was told by nurse we are short handed ....and I was like so thats my fault?????why wouldnt you have enough staff on duty for the 1st holdiay this summer.but anyway not my issue!????.she did not care and the doctor did not either.i ask if I could get my refund and I will leave and the nurse replied let me check and about 10 mins later she opens the door and said go to front desk and she will refund you...wthe two ladies working behind the front desk awesome!!!!and time I have been there they are there and they are always caring and kind....just good ladies...thanks.then after refund I go outside to see two cars my vehicle and one other.wow ........at least 30 mins.....terrible service.i go to emergency room great service every time...I go to urgent care in blairsville again awesome care and awesome employees.....!!!!??I will not be back to this urgent care again and I hope others understand how uosetupseit was today to be sooooooooo sick and yet no one at the medical building ....CARED!!!!! Thank you and I hope people understand how I was disrespected
I absolutely was amazed at quality and care!! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and the doctor was in room waiting for me!! Would give them 10 stars if I could!! Was in and out in no time at all with medication from right there!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great staff. Very caring people. I was in and out in no time at all.I like that fact the I have the option of purchasing the medicine on site.Very clean and well run office.I highly recommend this office.
If you want to make the second visit and pay the second co-pay, this is the place to go. Very poor diagnosis & treatment, usually have to return because you dont get any better (causing a second co-pay). I have decided that I will be better off taking my family to a different facility ONE time instead of having them continue to suffer because they werent treated the first time.
Nurses are rude. No diagnosis on what was wrong and not one employee was happy to be there. Spent over an hour for no results and to have the worst experience Ive ever had in a doctors office.
Had urinary tract symptoms and was told possible kidney was give nothing for pain or nause, it there police not give pain medication. What a crock Motion and toradol all are not high narcotics. Keep your money
Its easier to go to the emergency room. The staff is rude and makes you fill out mountains of paperwork. Wait time is forever so I hope your not looking for urgent care.

Worked here they had me hired hired threw a cleaning company and the company messed up and never paid me they say gonna pay u but always uppen the date and never pay u and noone there will make it right with me which is wrong . Very unprofessional. Refused to see me because I have VA insurance, when I asked the VA and the regular ER they said there’s no reason they shouldn’t have.
Went in on 10/13 at about 3:00 pm, waited for a little while but everyone was so nice and I felt like I was taken care of properly.
This med express sucks. I had to wait ridiculously long to take a drug test. There were multiple people sitting around staring at me as I waiting in agony in the sitting area. Literally awful. This place sucks

2022-01-06Honestly, the other reviews are being dramatic. Yes I waited longer then expected for a TB test but it’s wasn’t bad. They answered my questions. The lady’s at the front desk were in a group chatting and weren’t really doing work but with their policy on you having to stay in your car to wait… what do you expect. You could have gone to your regular doctor quicker probably tho and if they are going to make you wait in the car at least have more parking spaces… I ended up parking and waiting at the Starbucks across the street even though you arnt supposed to… but how are they gonna know if you just say your there and they call when they are ready. It doesn’t hurt them and it’s better for you. (I wouldn’t go here for a Covid test tho)

2022-05-09The office staff is fantastic. Everything about my visit was great except the doctor himself. He made me feel like I didn’t need to come in. I had a sinus infection and felt terrible. He listened to me breathe and that was the extent of the examination. He prescribed me over the counter allergy meds and I had to ask for an inhaler. I told them from the beginning I was having trouble breathing. Went home and slept for 12 hours and woke up to 100 degree fever. Nothing to suppress my terrible cough or drainage. I won’t be returning to this location. When I checked out he forgot to give me my doctors excuse I had asked for. I felt like I was a burden to him the short amount of time he spent with me. He was an older foreign gentleman. The nurses are great but run from this guy.

2022-04-13My husband and I were extremely sick. My husband had visited the Indiana location for yearly work physicals. The link wouldn’t work to register so I had to call. All of the staff from the first phone call to register to the MA that called to triage to the staff member at check out were very polite and professional. The PA-C we saw was amazing! She listened and offered great advice. We would definitely come to this facility again and recommend this facility to others.

2022-04-27The care I received was great. I was a little disappointed in the long wait. I was informed at time of receiving care there was only one nurse on duty. So I was in the facility for roughly 3 hours. Other than that staff was very nice and I had no issues.

2022-01-24They got me in and out quickly which I appreciate. However, I was only in for a physical so I can get my license. I was told I had to pay $40. I paid the $40. They later sent me a letter in the mail saying the bill was $97 all together. However, I only was told $40 so thats what I paid. If I was told it wouldve been $97 to get a physical and that they would bill the rest. I would be fine woth the $57. But I was not told anything. Now I have $57 in collections that I have NO idea how to pay??

2022-04-14I really appreciate what they do. Yes the wait was a little, but what hospital, drs office or clinic isn’t? I had two separate problems with my foot and they took care of both! Beth the dr was very thorough and helpful. She really seemed to care. I will be going back for any non emergency problem.

2022-04-13I almost didn’t come here bc of the reviews but glad I did. Once I checked in there was 2 people ahead of me but I was still in and out in half an hour. Saw Bethany, she was super nice. I wouldn’t hesitate to come here again if the need arises.

2022-06-19I have gone to this place on multiple occasions ever since the Urgi Care at the hospital closed. Every time the wait seems to get longer and longer. I never go unless I know I am very sick. I am a patient person but the wait times here are insane and Ive never once been satisfied with the service I receive, I know I am not alone on that. I wait 2-3 hour and am talked to for 2-3 mins then given the most generic “resolution” to my illness. Today is the last time I will give MedExpress my business, I appreciate health care workers but this just isn’t it.

2022-06-24This place has drank the blue coolaid. They are anti American, anti your rights and will refuse you service if you are unwilling to let them play dictator. This is not yet a socialist society so stop acting like it is. The reason for this harsh review is because I am a direct care worker, I attempted to bring one of my disabled clients in for a physical injury and they refused him medical treatment for refusing to wear a mask. Mind you mask mandates have already been deemed illegal at this point.

2022-06-08I went for pre employment stuff. Everything went very smoothly and professional. Yes I had to wait to have the physical exam. But the nurse practitioner was very busy. And really in the big picture, it wasn’t that long of a wait.
