I love spending my summers here. When my kids were younger, we always had so much fun here. Now they are older, but this is still where I love to enjoy my sunshine and water. Very therapeutic for me. Make sure you get there early for parking. It is very popular. And to get a lounger. I love the food options here too. Lots to choose from at decent prices.
When I first moved to Perkasie. I loved this pool and quite frankly think its one of the best pools in the area. But there are pros and cons to every place.Positives: its clean, the facility is beautiful and offers many things for kids to do. They allow you to bring your own food in and offer amazing packages for birthday parties.Cons: its always over crowded. People just drop their kids off or are too busy on their phones to watch their kids. (The pool does have a policy that kids 16 and under have to have an adult accompanying them, but I dont believe it is strictly enforced). It closes for swim meets throughout the week so unless you know the schedule well, be prepared to encounter a closed pool.Suggestions:Have a members only day once a week or members only evening. People spend good money for season passes at the facility and would like to utilize it when it is not overcrowded with day pass people. We get passes every year and only used them twice because of the overcrowding.Expand the parking if possible. You need adequate parking for the amount of people you let in the pool.Limit the amount of guest passes per member and possibly the amount of day passes so the place doesnt get overcrowded.
2nd time being there and each time was an hour and a half drive. I love this pool. Its beautiful and calm. Everyone has a good time and the swimmers are also kind and respectful. The staff are great as well. I have made this a family day from now on when Im not working we will go more often. Snack bar is great lots of choices and tasty. The bathrooms are always kept clean and neat. I love it. Its an awesome family pool
Very nice municipal pool, with nice variety of features (slides, lazy river, water playground). The availability of lawn space to hang out is a nice alternative to the lounge chairs. My son was thrilled to pass his swim test and get access to everything. Clean facilities and the Ritas is a plus!
A fun place to take the kids. This is a smaller water park that has a couple of slides, a small lazy river, two main pool areas, diving boards, and plenty of seating. The downside is that its a little expensive for what youre getting. It is a smaller water park but the prices are a little steep. Outside of the aquatic center, there is a playground and pavilions for the kids to play. Over all, I recommend but I suggest looking into the season passes in the event you wanna go more than once.
I just went here for the first time. It was for school. I had so much fun here! This is a great place to come and enjoy with friends. Lucky for me, since I was with my school, I did get to enjoy with my friends. And luckily its not even that far from my house, since I live in a town thats right next to it. And it only cost me five dollars since I was going through school! Overall my experience here was great.
I like the pool itself. Very one of a kind public pool!! But, What about those people (including myself) that dont have that kind of money. In all honesty Ive been discouraged to even think about going because the price is outrageous!! Otherwise exciting for a family to enjoy. And the kid oriented part is great. If they lowered the price of admission for adults and children even $3 dollars less so Adults would pay $12 and children would pay $7 Id be more likely to go and or recommend this pool. For my family for one day would cost us $40 dollars. That aint right and we frankly dont want to go to Holiday house pool as an alternative. I tell people straight up how much it costs cause why waste their time going there and then turning around leaving disappointed because the pricing is absurd. If anything at all going after 4pm when the price drops a bit having 4 hours to savor for a long time is alright I suppose. Cause I sure couldnt afford paying that price but once doubtfully twice all summer. For those who have that kind of money, smile and Enjoy!! Thats what its there for to enjoy. I wish they would reconsider a more people friendly price!
Last year the Water Park portion was closed, but they still demanded full price. My girls had one swimming lane to share with everyone else.Gave them a second chance. They want big city prices in this blue-collar town. I can pay it but I wanted to just watch my daughter swim for an hour. I was told I had to pay also to walk on the sacred ground. Im sure people have nice experiences. My two were not. Do not patronize this place.
Great community pool. Features special events such as Flick and Float, watch a movie on a Friday night during the summer while floating in the pool or Doggy Dip, on the last day of swim season bring your canine friend and a small donation to allow your fur baby to frolick and swim in the pools! Has a baby pool and large pools and slides. Grassy picnic area, a few picnic tables, snack bar, showers and lockers. Geared towards borough residents, but day passes available for a fee.
A wonderful community pool. If you are not a resident of Perkasie borough, the prices are deliberately set to be expensive so as to keep the crowds down. Kids must be 48 tall, be able to lap the competition pool 2 times, & tread water for 2 mins to pass swim test in order to use the slides. Tests available every hour. Snack stand run by Ritas water ice.
The workers where so rude with nasty attitudes. It was our first time there & the lady try telling us she seen us there before & if we act up we would get thrown out! For what??? What did we do or why we was being treated the way we was. Trying to celebrate my niece birthday & may I say we picked the wrong spot. Because we are a different nationality we was treated differently. Another person who was there that we did not know even said whats there problem & why are they treating you guys in that matter. I didnt see you or your family doing anything wrong. I said I know but thanks. I left it alone & try to enjoy my day the best way we could but it was an awful experience. Never would I go back there again.
This place is unbelievable We were introduce to Menlo Aquatics Center by a friend, so i brought my grandkids and we found ourselves coming every weekend last summer. My grandkids loves this place, cant wait until you open this summer the staff was very nice and the pools are very clean and the price is right keep up the good work guys.
My daughter has taken private swim lessons for 2 years. Miss. Lauren was fantastic. However, this year her swim instructor was terrible. He was young, arrogant, and talked to the other lifeguards the whole time instead of my daughter. $125 for a private swim class with an instructor who was worthless.
Terrible, this used to be a nice community pool. It is overcrowded with day pass people with rude behavior and trash. They might as well call it Dorney Park number 2. It is subsidized by tax dollars and our exorbitant electric rates, and they run it for profit by catering to people from outside the community. Definitely will not join again next year. Defund the pool. Splashin Second Class.
Walked in, paid $30.As soon as we entered the pool area, there was thunder (clear skies just thunder from afar)They evacuated the pool area, and we asked for a refund because we didnβt use their amenities and we barely walked in to the facility and they didnβt even refund us or show sympathy
WORST EXPERIENCE AT A WATERPARK EVER. THE STAFF WAS RUDE AND RACIST TOWARDS MY GUESTS AND FAMILY.WE WENT TO CELEBRATE MY GRAND DAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY.1 OUR KIDS WERE ON THE WATERSLIDE SINCE WE WALKED IN THEN AN HOUR LATER A LIFEGUARD SAYS THEY ARE NOT ALOUD IN IT UNLESS THEY PASS THE SWIM TEST. WTH AFTER THEYVE BEEN ON IT ALLDAY.THE KIDS ARE ALL 4 TO 5 FEET TALL AND THE WATER AT THE BOTTOM IS 3 FEET.THEY ALL KNEW HOW TO SWIM BUT THEY WANTED THEM TO PASS THIS SWIM TEST OF THERES THAT WAS HALF N HOUR LONG AND WAS EXHAUSTING. SO THE KIDS FUN WAS OVER.THIS PARK IS BEAUTIFUL BUT THEY NEED NEW AND FRIENDLIER STAFF.IT WAS OUR FIRST TIME THERE AND WE WILL NEVER GO BACK..AND I JUST NOTICED I HAVE TO GIVE A STAR TO POST THIS WHEN IT DESERVES NONE.
Been going to this pool for years.this summer I had to complain about dirty bathrooms.often the tables were not clean.i missed the music being broadcast.the pools did not appear to have been skimmed or vacuumed.i actually was very displeased with the conditions of facility.hopefully this will be read and they will take action .

2021-07-16Has multiple nice kids areas for your little ones, a lazy river with decent current, clean water and areas, lifeguards that keep ontop of things well, huge slide for 12+ and younger kids who passed swim test and another large deeper pool with slide and rock climb for the swimmers. Great overall lots of fun!

2021-06-27Great place for the family! Never too crowded. Very clean with friendly staff. Nice snack bar options and they even have a Ritas Water Ice. The main water slide has 2 fun turns that my 11 yr. old son cannot get enough of! Plenty of options for babies/toddlers. Theres also a fun playground in the same parking lot with a sit-down zip line π 4 star only because its a bit pricey for daily passes and memberships (especially since Im a non-resident). We will definitely be back though. π

2019-08-28Took my 7 yo son to a birthday party here for our 1st experience @ Menlo. We were REALLY impressed by the facility! My son loved all the water slides and rock walls, etc. there is something for all ages here. He passed the deep water test in 1 try (swim 2 laps and tread for 1 minute) so he could use everything. The front desk staff was welcoming and helpful. I would give 5 stars if the bathroom was updated a bit and kept cleaner. It was rather drab and smelly. Will come back again this summer!

2019-07-02Im giving the park five stars because of the conjoining factor, I was opting to come and try the pool facility out until reading all of the reviews. It seems that ignorance befuddles the minds and sight of many, that anyone whom may be fortunately* different is riff Raff, or by instance reverse phsychologically rude. I did enjoy breezing through the park, thought it to be very nice and family oriented. (If only the people matched). The first picture is of a sign I saw that brightened my day.

2019-08-11Some staff were nice. One life guard was bothered by everything my son did. You know racism at its finest. Only thing I could say itβs worth the time and money. The food is nasty. The hot dog bun was old. The girl who served my hot dog dropped my hot dog and I had to purchase another one. Lol great god kids. Itβs clean

2021-08-03Really nice and enjoyed it. A little overkill on the swim test, I think having that is great for the big pool section but not so much for the huge slide in the 2nd tier pool that my son is literally a foot taller than the water.

2021-08-13Really nice, spacious waterpark. Reasonable rates and a full snack bar. Tons of water activities for all ages.If youre visiting from out of county check the website for updated restrictions before you go. They just changed some admission rules due to covid. **Out of county residents arent allowed on weekends**
