My family and I had heard so much about this restaurant we took a road trip try to for ourselves it it was simply amazing. Top notch culinary experience. Thats good as any restaurant that you will find in Philadelphia. And the owner, Michael, is an excellent guy.

I am updating my review had dinner last night we did take out. Food was fantastic as usual we have been going to this place for almost 40 years now. Food is always fantastic people are always great highly recommend. I want to remind everybody of the beautiful remodel that Michaels has just gone through place looks fantastic. There are so many great dishes that I love at this place theres just too many to mention. Soon hopefully will be coming in to eat once again once this virus is over. We really miss this place looking forward to coming back to inside dining. And we love all of our great friends at Michaels. Help support them during this trying time we have been going there every week for takeout. It has been very good and look forward to it every week. And of course they are open for dining at this time they are doing all the proper social distancing to make it safe.
The bartender was very sweet and kind she made a fabulous martini. We had the warm salad which they prepared right in front of us sauteed mushrooms garlic spinach It was delicious. Michael himself came out to greet us very friendly and warm environment. Decor is dated but thats what adds to the overall ambience of the place. It could be my next favorite hidden gem for happy hour or dinner dates. Will definitely be returning and yes please start on that martini!

I attended a private event here (so didnt order off the regular menu). The salad was good; lettuce crisp and dressing was good. Pasta was a bit gummy and stuck together, but sauce was pretty good. Green beans were salty but tasty. Meatballs were surprisingly good.Physically the place was dated. Needs either a remodel, or just a fresh coat of paint.
Michael galasso Jr and Michael galasso Jr really know how to please their customers by giving them the finest tableside cooking you cant get nowhere else but right there at the legendary Michael my suggestions everybody go try it out and once you have it you want to come back for more
The worst manicotti I have ever had. The sauce was tasteless and looked like watered colored red water. Absolutely no taste. Manicotti looked liked a large frozen ravioli. Giving it a one star I am being generous
I just had my wedding there last Saturday, on Sept 14, 2019!! I can NOT say enough about this venue... Everything was amazing, so many compliments on the food!!!! The owners were especially amazing, she made sure everything went according to plan and this wouldnt have been such a huge success without her being there!!! I adore her!!! We plan on having every anniversary dinner and all future parties there for sure!!! Thank you Michaels Restaurant and Lounge!!!
What a great experience with Michaels!! We had our wedding here recently, and cannot say enough about the service we received from start to finish! Michael was professional, courteous, and fun. He made us extremely comfortable through the planning process, and was super helpful. The reception hall was set-up beautifully for our special day, and the staff was there every step of the way to help make our wedding day perfect! We were able to access the banquet hall the day prior to set up our tables with centerpieces and favors. The staff did a great job setting up the tables and decor. The food was incredible and beyond our expectations. Our guests could not stop talking about the great dessert spread. The open bar was great and the bartender was super friendly and inviting for our guests. All in all I wish we could give 10 stars! I would definitely recommend Michaels for your wedding or other parties. Thanks so much to Michael and the staff for making our wedding day the perfect wedding experience!! We will definitely be back for our future parties/events!
Very nice Italian restaurant with out-of-this-world food and very friendly staff. Michael is there with a smile and hand shake. He made sure everything was good and taken care of.There is smoking allowed in the bar area only, but it had good circulation so it doesnt smell like an ashtray. It also has a separate sit-down dining area. This is a great place and is highly recommended from an out of town visitor.
One of the best kept secrets in Lower Bucks. Recommend tableside cooking. Michael Sr. is a great cook and the family/staff working here are excellent. I have never left without eating all of the food on my plate. Can’t say enough good things about Michael Sr. and the restaurant. This place is a regular stop for me. Don’t let the decor fool you. My friends and I prefer to think we are on the set of Goodfellas. Michael Sr. is the man and welcomes everyone at dinner with his signature greeting “Good evening.”
I used to like this place. Prime rib was over cooked and the veal was tough. Veal florentine is a veal francaise with frozen spinach thrown on top. Told Michael about both entrees being disgusting and he said Im sorry . Nothing else! How about...what can I do to make your dinner perfect?? No offer to remake anything until I said it...by then I was just appalled and wanted to leave. Service here is done by young untrained kids and sucks. Do yourself a favor, stay away from this place!!
First time in. Got done work late and stopped for a drink. Katie the bartender was very attentive and personable. Management was friendly. I didnt eat but gandered over a menu that looked appealing. I will definitely be back.
Was there for a retirement party. Good food, good service. Large party at one long table and everyone was attended to. 👍
This place is so very nice I love it ! Pricy though. But the food is great & there appetizers are wonderful. The owner Michael is a very nice man. I do want to go back when the pandemic is over!
The son likes to flirt and tries to pick up women who come in there with other men. The food sucked and the service was horrible. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone who likes fine dining. On a scale of 1 to 10. A minus 4. Dirty and not memorable. Dont waste your time or money.
I went to a birthday party recently, STAFF were SO SO SO RUDE. the waitress was very rude talking bad about people at the birthday party with the owner, rolling her eyes. She was involving herself with the kids more than she should. Yelling at peoples kids , food was not so good. the owner or man in charge was also rude. walking around as if he was so bothered. It was a good experience but I would not have any kind of party here. since I feel like we were bothering the staff.
Service was great from the get go...i had the oysters on 1/2 shell...they were GREAT!! Hubby had the combo app....everything was delish....but realllllly enjoyed the clams casino. Our main dishes were wonderful and plentiful...along with all the sides...my stuffed steak was so big i had to give my hubby more than 1/2 to finish. Enjoyed the coffee and desserts. Tiramisu and Mascarpone lemon cake. And to to top it off....the wonderful Mike...just made the dinner so much better by just being the great guy he is with lots of laughs.
We just celebrated my sons wedding at a Michaels, and it couldnt have been nicer. Michael and everyone there were very helpful during the planning. They took care of the set up. And the food was excellent. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them fir any event youre planning. Btw, even if you dont have an event coming up, Michaels is a great destination for an evening out for dinner.

Love this place! The tableside Caesar salad cant be any fresher! Tonight was filet mignon, that melted in the mouth. The staff is always friendly, too.
Every time we go the food is delicious! My husband raves about the raw clams every time he gets them...which is always! We keep going back because it is so good!

Horrible! The food was really bad and expensive. Couldnt even get a baked potato right..Tasted canned ! The owner verbally abused the very nice waitress in front of us, and the ladies room floor was all sticky. I dont know how they stay in business !

A bar thats a blast from the past. They allow smoking so that may be a drawback for some people, but for those they have a separated dining room that offers tableside made by the owners of the establishment themselves. The 2 micheals (father and son) have been making delicious food for their patrons almost 50 years now and are a lost gem of Morrisville.
Wow!!! A fabulous hidden little treat. Excellent quality, beautifully appointed, and great service. Definitely high quality. Lots of superb ingredients are abundant. Excellent date spot too
Crab night at Michaels Restaurant was absolutely fantastic, Nobody and I mean Nobody makes crab sauce and braked crabs like Michael Does, and his table side Cesar salada is the very very best, dont change a thing Michael.
First of all I wish I could give eight stars for food alone....but staff was attentive and had a selection dat was pricey until you see portion size...I had the prime rib which was cooked to perfection seriously....perfect. Place was cozy and homely...Would suggest to friends and family....five stars in my book
This is my fav Mexican place. Lunch and dinner is different. Lunch is like a semi fast food place because of the crowd and dinner is a sit down restaurant. It is pretty cheap for a nice Mexican place and the food is delicious. My fav is their lunch salsa bar, they have like 8 variety of different salsa and dips! every single time I always end up eating too much salsa and have no roomFor my food which is also very delicious. Their drinks are pretty strong as well. My fav is fish taco, chille relleno, and vegetarian casadija(really sorry for my spelling of Mexican food!)
The Owners treat you like family and the food is so much better then most Italian restaurants. Theres also a fun lounge for cocktails and music.
We stopped by for baked ziti to go with meatballs..... It was horrible tasted like a can of tomato sauce was poured over cold pasta and mushy defrosted meatballs.Never again... And it wasnt cheap.

2021-07-29My family has been coming to enjoy the food at Michael’s for years, even since my parents were kids. The food is always outstanding, tableside freshly made caesar is a must. I order from the section of menu that is prepared at the table. I highly recommended the steak Diane, the meat is so tender it melts in your mouth and the juice of the dish is so good I could drink it lol. Michael Sr. Is truly a talented man and still after many years, he has not lost his magic touch in the culinary field. Not to mention the owner, family, and staff are wonderful and caring people. Love it here, it is an absolute hidden gem.

2022-06-21First time here; very nice staff. Reviews were very strong so was slightly disappointed. Ordered Meat Tortellini Bolognese; taste was good but little to no bolognese on the tortellini and the portion size was exceptionally small. It appeared to be a marinara instead of a bolognese. It was a take out so maybe dine in is better. Staff packed the orders well.

2022-05-10Was there for a wedding reception. The banquet hall was a good size. The food was decent. My only concern was the bathrooms. The womens bathroom had a tablecloth on the floor due to a leak and the mens bathroom floor was very slippery. Other than that, no complaints.

2022-05-18Went to a wedding reception recently ..great food and staff was good but the building inside and out needs some love ...especially inside needs to be cleaned up or updated a bit ..not sure what the Bride and Groom paid Michaels but deffo a place Id consider having such an occasion

2020-03-11Had an amazing dinner last night...from the well crafted vodkas martinis to the tableside Ceasar salad and steak Diane Marsala, everything was superb. We even shared an order of their homemade gnocchi and then capped the evening with a bananas flambeau. Hats off to owner and master chef Michael and his staff.

2022-01-13The chicken parm was ok. The potatoes looked like they sat out all day long. They were horrible right up there with the string beans they gave us. The staff was very nice and attentive.
