Honestly and seriously there is no one that’s even alive that’s a better engineer and mixer then mike Tarsia. He has his “Black belt” and over 30 years of experience and produces Grammy award winning projects. I use him for allMy projects !
Mike is at the Top in his craft;. One of the best in the business. His discography speaks for itself and says it all about his ability to do what he does best.

2020-06-17Ive known Mike since we were both at Sigma Sound Studios in the late 70s. Hes always had a love of music and that informs his love of engineering. Having sat with him in his current studio while he was working, I can tell you his focus is laser-like. His knowledge of recording and mixing is nothing short of encyclopedic. I would recommend him for any recording, mixing, and/or mastering. (And hes a good cook, too.)

2020-06-17Well Mike is tops. He comes from the days of guys building what they needed, because it didnt yet exist. The very 1st minute I met Mike I felt comfortable. Hes like a member of you team. Hes also a super engineer, has worked with the big boys for sure. I was extremely happy with my mixes. Hes great. Hes fast and gets you a radio ready master that has life in it - no skimpy mixes from Mike. I enjoy him 1000%

2020-06-17Worked with Mike in his studio to mix and master a complex project involving an array of acoustic instruments in a style that blended jazz/flamenco/mideastern/classical/medieval musics. Weird eh, but Mike latched right on and worked with me to help clarify and ultimately realize my vision and made it sound great. Album will be coming out in July 2020 on Ansonica with distribution by Naxos. Home run! Transparent and clear about costs and rates (unlike many studios) - no surprises. Highly recommend.
