Went to a shower there a week ago the food was horrible.the food was barely warm It was supposed to be chicken Marcela It was fried boneless chicken with a thick brown sauce and nothing else. No mushrooms in there either. And the salmon were small little pieces. The waitress was nice. THATS ABOUT IT. I WOULD NEVER BOOK A PARTY THERE!
What a disappointment.... Went to enjoy a Mothers Day meal with my mother. The food was pretty good but the Server had much to be desired. We were 1 of 4 families there and before we were finished our server began to rush us out were kinda busy threw the check on the table and disappeared. As I was taking the check to the person at the front she says loudly Are you goibng to pay? With cash in hand I replied you disappeared and I was bringing it to the front to pay again Were busy. Alexandra or whomever was not the Best representation of this establishment. Weve been going to Mikes for years and today has been the worst.
Had our birthday party there about 15 people. Waitresses were really in rush and it was Wednesday night barely anyone in the restaurant. They brought drinks and utensils on side table and left it there. Also when we tried to call them ignored and kept on running out. Also 2 people ordered side of mashed potatoes and it came later after we reminded them. And mashed potatoes was just boiled potatoes mixed without peeling and nothing added (butter salt etc). Its like kitchen and waitresses saying eat and die or eat and don’t come back here. Not coming back here anytime soon
The service here was a a little slow. The waitress never came back to check on our meal and see if we needed anything. That said, the food was fabulous!!! The seasoned fries were dry and crispy on the outside (not at all greasy!) And light and fluffy on the inside. The burger was delicious and cooked exactly as I ordered- medium well.
This is a restaurant that was on our go to list. We’re from Warminster and retired to Florida. When we are in the area to visit, this restaurant was on our go to list. NO LONGER! We had a terrible experience yesterday,We met family for a late lunch. The restaurant was not busy. We were shown to a table that was so sticky that the menu stuck to the table. We were another table that was worse. The table was cleaned but left soaking wet and not dried. We ordered our food. Our server, Antonio, delivered the food but we had no utensils, We had to wait a few minutes before he returned so we could ask for utensils. The food except for the ribs was ok. But, my husband took few bites of his ribs, grimaced and asked me to taste. The ribs tasted like the meat was spoiled. We had to wait awhile for Antonio to reappear. We told him the problem and he said with an attitude “ Other people had ribs today and didn’t have an problem”. “ I’ll check with management”. Time passed. He didn’t return nor did the manager stop by. Finally, I asked another server for our check. Antonio brought the check. The price for the ribs was removed but i still asked to speak with the manager. ( I don’t know about you but when a customer has an issue, the manager comes to the table to see what is the problem). The manager shows up, my husband explains about the ribs and the manager says “ there is nothing wrong with the ribs”. No apology. We paid the bill and left. We were really trying to keep the incident from escalating.WAIT IT GETS WORSEAntonio follows us to our car and asks me why we didn’t leave him a tip.I said “ what did you say to me? He repeats and I respond “ leave us alone”.My husband was already in the car and I hopped in quickly and we drove away.Again, this was a TERRIBLE experience!
Food was delicious! Service was slow. Asked if the ice tea was fresh brewed and the server brought hot tea. The raspberry tea was straight syrup. Food came out hot. Waited about 20 minutes for the server to come back. She walked by without checking jn. Waited about another 10 minutes and had to ask for the check. This was around 12:30 on a Saturday and there were maybe 3 other tables in the room.
Mikes York Street Bar & Grill hosted a luncheon for our daughters Holy Communion. The private room was beautiful. Everyone enjoyed the food, from the appetizers to buffet to the cheesecake! Lastly, the the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We are so grateful to find an amazing vendor to celebrate with our family!
We had a great time at our Music Bingo Fundraiser this past Sunday! Kim, Hennie, Danielle, and Erin did a fantastic job with all of our special requests. We have had so many compliments on what a great event it was! We couldnt have done this without the generosity of Mikes and their team. Thanks to them we will be able to feed at least 50 more local families a Thanksgiving Dinner. We highly recommend them for your next private event.
Walked in around 6:35 and was ignored by the hostess, I guess the main hostess was training the newer younger trainees. They did t take notice of my wife and I standing off to the side. I didn’t want to bombard their station, but others came in after ya and went up and out their name in before us. I had to walk up and stand next to the podium and ask to put my name in.Finally after being seated nd putting our order in things got a little better, till I got my Mac burger. It was dry and flavorless. The only flavors were the toppings, the meat was dry and did I mention had no flavor. Fries were good, they didn’t need any help from ketchup. So I use to come to this restaurant since 2004 and stopped around 2009. Not from the quality but job and hanging with friends in other areas. So in conclusion I will not be coming back here unless someone else is paying for the meal.
Had my daughters bridal shower here on 10/20/19. Everything was perfect, the room looked exactly how I had envisioned it. Our server, Tyler was excellent! Considering it was just him, I was impressed how he stayed on top of everything. The food was delicious! I highly recommend this place for any event that you may need to host.
I was in the area for a meeting. We were in the way out of town and picked this place while driving by. The server was super friendly, and prompt. She did a great job adding simple syrup to the unsweetened tea to accommodate my order for sweet tea. They had a good variety of menu items for food and drink. I got something off of the seasonal special menu and was very pleased.
Food was good, we were with a big party so they were very accommodating. Service was a touch slow. Not sure if it was the size of the party or not. Most of the party just got an appetizer and some drinks. Overall it was a great experience, clean, the employees were patient. I will go back again.
In a word...Underwhelmed. Its been a while since weve been there and heard is under new ownership so we tried it again. Ill start be saying the server was very nice and attentive. She was on top of things and checked back to refill drinks etc. But the food was just ok. My wife had a burger and said it was good. I had the steak and it had absolutely no flavor at all. Neither did the mashed potatoes, just bland. I thought it was me, so we tried each others and both agreed. I also ordered Jamison and Ginger (2). They were $8.50 each for the Jamison and then an additional $2.00 for the ginger! Not sure Ill be back.
I use to frequent this place a good deal 15-20yrs ago. As Ive gotten older, not much, unless its a family thing. Family came to town and they decided on this place. Last time we were here was for a bridal shower 4yrs ago. Gonna say, the renovations in the bar area seem kinda cold, not inviting. We sat in the dining room to the left of the entrance, right by the windows on York Rd. It was cold (right after Thanksgiving). I know its an OLD building, but do something about the drafts. A nearby table left and offered a little space heater someone provided them.Food was meh. My burger was undercooked. My cousins meal was also undercooked, she sent hers back. We ordered 2 or 3 spinach dips and werent given enough chips to finish the dip.My cousins calamari was a weird light tan color too.Next time well suggest a different spot.
The food is mediocre at best. Service is always slow even when it’s empty and fully staffed. It’s dark and creepy at all times. They turned the lights down from romantic to Dracula. And today they have protestors outside complaining about not getting paid for their work.
We have been coming here for years! In fact I remember coming here when I was probably about 7 or 8. Its always been good never had a problem. The management is so kind and the waitresses are also very nice! Was here on Friday for my birthday and never knew that they had happy hour until 630! Had an amazing frozen watermelon Margarita. OK maybe more than one haha. The fried pickles were unbelievable! Same with this steak bites which I have gotten every time I come here! I wish you guys would sell the steak bite sauce it is my favorite you could put it on anything almost.
The pumpkin drink I had was absolutely great🎃💯 However they gave me a crab cake sandwich instead of the platter. I had to sit and wait while my 3 guests ate most of their food. When I finally got the platter I couldnt eat it. The crab cakes were horrible. I had one bite and there wasnt any crab just all filler. I dont even know what it was but it was gooey and gross. My waiter brought our check and I said are you really charging me for this?? I didnt even eat it!! He said yes the crab cakes yes. Well my guest paid for it and said its okay dont worry about it.Well never will I go back there!!! That waiter didnt even care at all😡
I had a baby shower for my daughter here on 5/22. The room (York room) is light and airy and perfect for a shower. We were allowed in one hour prior to decorate. The tables were set and you had a choice of napkin color. The food was good and plentiful. I had wanted a plated lunch but there was some miscommunication between myself and the banquet manager so I ended up with the buffet. The restaurant did only charge me for the plated lunch due to the error. There was only one server for 32 people, but it was sufficient. The pitchers of iced tea and water were replenished often. Overall a great choice for a shower and very affordable compared to other venues.
Went here on a Saturday night and it was packed!! Probably mainly why my review is 3/5...maybe during the week it is better. We ordered take out because it was going to take so long for a table. We ended up settling at the bar while waiting. Thankfully we ate there because the salad I ordered was missing the chicken that comes with the salad (not an add on), my dads salad had no dressing, the french onion soup was cold so I ended up taking that home, and my brothers burger and fries had great flavor though they were cold. Ordered the margarita, came with no salt and I dont know if it had any tequila in it. Like I said it was packed, maybe its better during the week!
I went with my mom for a late mothers day. We were seated right away. The menu is pretty limited, but you can find something you like. I wanted to order another drink, and the waitress was nowhere to be found. My moms soup also came out late due to a teach issue. It happens. All in all, the food was good. Its an okay spot. Decor is nice.
When we arrived we were told, For future reference we do not take online reservations and to only make reservations through the phone. Seemed a bit odd considering the OpenTable reservation feature in embedded on their website. Live music was a plus. Service was slow even though it seemed we were only one of two tables in the servers section. The food was good but seemed a bit overpriced for what it was. I wish I had a chance to order a few more beers but only had a chance to order two as I waited 20 minutes for the server to come around after I finished my first drink.
Mikes is always a great place for food and cocktails but this past Saturday we held an engagement party upstairs and it was Fabulous! The food and service was beyond great! Erin was so easy to deal with during the planning and the bartenders could not have been better! It was a fantastic and fun night! Thanks Mike! Looking forward to hosting more parties with you! I highly recommend using Mikes for your next party!
This place is going down the tubes since new management has taken over. Over all food and services has gone down. Hummmm Scott & Eric wake up. It is truly sad to see this place and open your eyes Look around you wonder why the revenue is going down with limited beer on tap to a smoke filled bar & restaurant where the fire Marshall would shut down in a heart beat. Also its 82 degrees in your establishment, you sure Dont make it comfortable for your patrons to stay. What is the temperature set to in your house??? Feel free to reach out to me to discuss further. I only have a small voice but will tell you 3.5 million views on Google. Now I know why you are still the talk of the town and its not in a good way.
Had my bridal shower there May 15th, 2021upstairs was absolutely beautiful. Food was great everything was wonderful, besides the speaker not working. It was fun we had so much fun and pictures were beautiful. Our server was amazing she was the bartender as well very patient with the crazy bridal group.
I will be honest and Ive never had to do this kind of review but I will never go there again. The waitress served a minor a long Island ice tea when she ordered a reg ice tea. The burger my friend got came all wrong with the dressing on the burger. We got as an appetizer Mozilla sticks and a hair was pulled from the breading. So it was breaded by a person that made them and did not have hair tied up. I lost my appetite. Just decide for yourself if you want unwanted surprises or not.
Mikes York Street hosted my baby shower last weekend and I could not have been happier with the service. Their event coordinator is extremely responsive and helpful, the wait staff was amazing and accommodating, the food was delicious and prices are affordable. Everyone had an amazing time and I didnt have to worry about anything. I will recommend this restaurant to anyone planning an event!
Went to Mikes to make reservations for a small funeral lunch of 10-15 people. Received return call requesting confirmation. Each time I called, no one answered & I was sent to voicemail. Left confirmation message with detailed info asked for call back. The morning of funeral I called as I never heard from anyone & again sent to voicemail. It’s now the day after the funeral & still not 1 returned phone call!We arrived at Mike’s a few minutes early only to find no set tables & they had no idea we were coming! I was furious but kept my cool. Long story short, we were their first customers of the day. Our server was wonderful, the food, what they weren’t out of, was good. Took exceptionally long to get our group served as plates came out 1 or 2 at a time, plus our poor waitress had to keep coming back to our group informing us that they were out of certain selections. Upon further inquiry I found out there was only 1 cook in the kitchen!!!! Having spent many years in the restaurant industry, this was appalling. Our server was not told by the chef prior to opening the list of “86ed” items (first order of business). This would have eliminated the numerous order changes. Second, being the first & largest group, our orders should have been completed first. Then all following tables handled.I have been to Mikes many times over the years for various occasions; showers, graduations, funerals, birthdays etc. Never have I ever experienced anything like this at Mike’s or any other restaurant & most likely will not go back again. Considering Bernie’s is owned by the same people as Mikes, I’ve lost interest in checking out any of those restaurants now that things are opening again. What a disappointing & horrible experience!
Man. I’m disappointed. They changed their veggie wrap (which is totally okay except now it’s really gross lol). I just couldn’t stomach it. Was told they’d swap it for a different wrap since I only had one bite. Waited for a really long time for the replacement which never came. It only came out after I went in and asked for the check. Gave 2 stars for the person who came out and offered to fix it, (not our server), checked on us, even gave me a complimentary drink. I think if she had served us it would have been a better experience. I would never fault a restaurant for changing an item on the menu but the miscommunication and disorganization of this restaurant is pretty bad. I just feel like I interacted with so many people who clearly hadn’t spoken to one another. I finally told my server “I already told the other person this” because who wants to explain their woe’s over and over? On a positive note, my partner loved his pasta!
To start with the food is good here, the last time I was here with my girlfriend the service was very poor. First of all the resturant was unpleasantly hot. To the point that we were both sweating. Our waitress seemed to be struggling with getting our drinks right, and then we both needed to repeat our order several times until she could have it recorded. I asked for fries with my cheesesteak and received chips, my girlfriend wanted ranch dressing with her salad, and received a different dressing, we were able to get them to correct our orders, but it was getting very frustrating needing to constantly get her attention to get drinks refilled and our orders straightened out. I have eaten here plenty of times before and not had issues, but it had been a few months since my last visit and we left very unsatisfied
Was hoping to have a nice lunch but left hungry and disappointed. First, when we said thank you to the waitress for bringing our beverages we got no response. I thought that was a bit rude, but maybe she was just busy and didnt hear us.As we sat sipping our drinks waiting to place the appitizer order. We finally got the chance and both of us ordered an appitizer. A few minutes later they came back and said they ran out of what I ordered. I reordered and they placed my girlfriends out in front of here mere seconds after telling me to reselect an option.Very unprofessional, what restaurant brings the platters out at different times? At this point Im already turned off. As my girlfriend is eating while Im sitting twiddling my thumbs with nothing. If the product was out of stock why not inform us right after the order instead of waiting till one was done? Then we heard the table behind us complaining about the quality of the food. At that point we were already having a bad experience and decided not to risk it.We promptly cancelled the second app order paid for our sodas and what food we did receive, left, and decided to try another restaurant.First experiences are everything and based upon ours we most likely wont ever give this place another chance.
Food was good and service was ok, I totally understand the shortage of staff everywhere. My issue was air conditioner was not working, 82 degrees in the dining room and not even an attempt to bring in a fan or anything. Mikes has always been a great place. We probably would have went elsewhere if told the ax was out when we made reservations an hour before. FYI it was almost 90 degrees outside.
I planned a last minute event at this establishment with Erin their events coordinator and wow. Everything was exactly how I wanted and she made sure of it. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the drinks were strong & it was for my sons sport team. Our server Tony was very sweet and quick and had a lot of patience. Would recommend to all my friends and will be back soon.
I gave them five stars a year ago!! Now I dont know what happened but the food is different. Only one piece of chicken now instead of two in dinners. The taste is different and texture. The soup (french onion) was supurb now mediocre and salty. Our waitress messed up an order besides that she was good. Must be new owners not the same food.
This has always been my go to place for a great meal with or without drinks.Yesterday, 3 out of 4 of our dining party got sick in the bathroom an hour after eating here. They had the cowboy burger, a steak sandwich and the chicken marsala. All sick. The only one who didnt get sick ordered a salad. The last 2 visits here my husband had bad meals-Be advised. Maybe only eat here in colder weather.
Thought it would be a great place to eat, started off with hair in the mozzarella sticks, then they were out of the roast beef and the chicken ceasar salad had nothing in it, ordered a cheeseburger with toppings and came out with nothing on it, never came back to check on us, service was bad, I had better food and service at Applebees! I wont be back!
Had lunch here while in the area. We were seated in our area of preference. Our meal was served quickly and hot. Our server was courteous, and accurate. There is plenty of parking and had a comfortable temp on a hot day. I didnt experience the bar, again, too hot for that. I feasted on the decor while we waited for our meal. Rustic with an old brewery feel. My only negatives are that the croutons on my salad were soft and I never got a refill of water during meal.
Food is okay but my chips looked like they accidentally dumped seasoning on it which made it wayyy too salty to eat, the did the same thing to both of my brothers Fries as well. Waiter was also rude and never bothered asking if we needed refills. And when we asked, she rolled her eyes.
Havent been to this place in over a year and the reason for this is because the service and food have been subpar ever since new management took over a couple years back. They even got rid of several popular menu items. Its a shame because Mikes was my familys go to for years. Bring back the old Mikes Bar & Grill!
The new space is open and beautiful! Myself and my husband had flatbread pizzas that were delicious. I also had some of the seasoned fries, yum! All staff had masks (correctly worn) and there were sanitizers placed throughout. Great job!Well definitely be coming back again!
Some creep named Caesar was hitting on my girlfriend and when she showed no interest by turning away when he tried talking to her (he was sitting beside us at the bar not in work attire) he told his staff to close our tab and kick us out. Assuming he’s the manager. Total creep. Will not be back.
Decent craft beer selection, good prices. Has a mostly locals kind of vibe. I sat at the bar & enjoyed my time there. The male bar tender who first served me was great. A young woman replaced him & she seemed to be a bit more interested in talking to the servers than pouring me a drink so I finished my night somewhere else. Worth a visit though!
The food was disappointing, it was bland the hummus was made in house and was somewhat descent but the burgers were overcooked, and the crab cakes were old and smelled fishy, and just dont get the Ruben its just not good. The servers were very nice, if you just make few changes to the food, the place has a the capacity of being a great restaurants.
Service was very good and had a very attentive waitress. The boneless wings were very good also. My friend had spaghetti and meatballs which he said were pretty good. I had the Honey mustard salmon and it was terrible. Overcooked and just had regular honey mustard spread on it. Do not order. Otherwise the overall experience was good.
Good food...good service…even while facing the challenges of a pandemic. Compliments on the easiest online ordering experience I’ve ever had for a dinner! General Manager—be aware that all cylinders were firing tonight from the kitchen to the quick greeting and pleasant delivery of my delicious petit filet at the reception station at the door! Keep up the good work.
Besides the food being mediocre from my takeout experience, the French onion soup I received was laughable. Being twice the price of average soups here, youd think it was great but is was also mediocre. When asking the hostess if this was something theyd serve in the dining room for $7, I kid you not, she laughed. 10 out of 10 wouldnt order from them again. Youd think during covid that customer service would be on the rise and not the other way around.
We were a party of 4. Three of us ordered crab cakes and one had steak. The crab cakes recipe changed and is now fried. The vegetables were all over cooked. The steak said choice cut but I don’t think my dogs could have chewed it. The vegetables on the steak were overcooked too. The only thing good were salads and soup. I even made the reservation through Open Table for the points and they forgot to check me in. I had to go up to the hostess and tell her. Not worth the money or the time. Very disappointed in the place. Not what it used to be. Stay away!!!
My daughter and I was here on Sunday...First our server was great- I don t rememberhis name...but he was excellent...The crab dip was delicious...more dip than bread- so we ordered more breadThe cheese burger was great...seasoned fries was great...now the drinksMargarita are $3.00 on Sunday s and bottles Corona s are 3:00... I had a Happy Hour Time!!! You gotta go!
Eat here far more frequently than I care to admit, but it is always fantastic. Servers are friendly, funny, and are on top of things. Food is consistent, flavorful and portions are decent. Apps are easily shareable. They had all-you-can-eat crab legs the other night, which was a huge hit for our table.
Awful! Sat outside waiting for 15 minutes to order... this was at 3:00 pm on a Saturday. When we finally ordered, we tried to order 2 burgers. We were told the kitchen has stopped making burgers because they had a party downstairs going on (waiter said a funeral) and they had a table of about 10 ppl outside with us. The inside first floor dining area was pretty dead... how can their kitchen NOT be able to make 2 burgers??? We left and went up the road to Crafty’s. Lost faith in their kitchen and cooks if they cannot make 2 burgers. Will not return. POOR!!
We hosted my sons baby shower at Mikes Bar and Grill last weekend and they did a great job. The food was awesome and the service was top notch. Thank you to our waitress who took care of all of us and made sure we always had everything we needed. They were very easy to work with and made us feel right at home. I would definitely host another event here and would recommend it to anyone else. Thank you for a great day!!!
Definitely wouldnt mind stopping by if passing. Average price was about $15 per item. Everything we had was good but it seems seasoning is lacking on every dish to make it stand out. The crab dip was again good but just a little bit of old Bay or something would of really helped. The cheesecake was also extremely sweet and would only recommend it to share with someone but worth trying.
I dont know the name of the person who answered my phone call, but she was extremely rude and dismissive. In addition, the events person NEVER emailed or called me back, so I scheduled my event at a different restaurant. Possibly they dont need the business now. Ill never use them again, especially for banquet events.
We just had a Bridal Shower through Mikes and it was beyond fabulous! Hazel was so easy to work with and the day of the event the women working were just so on it! The food for the lunch menu was amazing and guests were RAVING about the beef stir fry! The upstairs facility is so quaint and private from the rest of the restaurant! Excellent prices for a great day!! I would highly recommend Mikes for your events!
It was an okay place. I would not go again. Drinks were very weak and not good at all. Food was a little over priced for being cold and not that great. It just seemed like a place with alot throw together. Between the big sports screens, pizza shop, and mixed deco. I didnt know where I was. Seemed like it did not have the Bar/ Grill identify.
It was unbearably hot and stuffy in the bar dining area. It seems that their air conditioning may be broken. There are several fans set up in the bar area but they are ineffective. The fries are really salty, way overkill. The burger I got was greasy and mediocre in every other way.The waitress was good. That is the only reason they got more than one star. Really disappointed.
The staff was friendly but unprofessional. We ordered a pizza which was not good at all. The fries were good. The potato skins were clearly frozen and microwaved. Parts of the potato skins were cold. The place was clean. This place has potential if they manage the staff and get the kitchen under control.
What an awesome brunch! We hosted a lovely baby shower brunch at Mikes and it couldnt have gone better. Everything was delicious and the staff was awesome. They accommodated last minute guests and kept the mimosas flowing. I highly recommend Mikes for your next party!
We ate at Mikes last night for dinner. Havent been here in years!!! Definitely surprised about how good the food was. We had a mix of things; burgers, French onion soup, pizza, spin dip. And everything was good! They added a pizza section in the restaurant by the bar which was cool. Even our server Mike was great. We will be going back real soon!
Always room for improvement, but this is a great place to grab decent food at a decent price. Sometimes the serving sizes are a little small, but that depends on what you get. They have very good personal pizzas, burgers, and buffalo chicken fingers. They have a good happy hour and a wide selection of adult beverages. There is a dining room, bar seating and a private event space. The service is good and so is the atmosphere!
Took my dad there for his birthday with about 8 other family members and huge mistake picking this place. Didn’t get drinks we ordered. All the food didn’t even come out and food that did wasn’t completely right and cold fries. Would not suggest this place anymore. Used to be good but took a huge drop and sad to see. Won’t be going back there anytime soon.
Mikes went from the best Super Bowl party to the worst in one year! Every year the buffet was missing an item this year crab legs had a few low cost items. The promotion prizes use to decent this year they were doing drawing for cups . I was waiting on plastic silverware and even took a cut of the block . The place will be closed in less then a year!👎👎👎👎
First off, I had my parents 50 anniversary there last year and really enjoyed everything. Food, service, and management was all good.We were there tonight and were very disappointed, and we come to find out that it is under new management, which is definitely not a good thing in this case. The whole situation was awful. They had a bartender who was basically the only staff person we saw all night. He brought out the bread, he served drinks, he brought the coffee, he cleared the plates. It was ridiculous. There was one other guy who made an appearance every 45 minutes or so but that was it. Dont get me wrong, they people were very nice but short staffed. The appetizers were good. There were 2, a bruschetta plate and the other was crispy pita chips with a delicious crab dip. The problem is......there were 50 people at this event and they brought out what was an equivalent of a standard plate of dip. It was gone before a third of the people had some. They were so stingy and the people paying for it had to basically beg for another bowl. The answer given was well the first serving was 3 bowls worth. 3 bowls worth?????? It was a plate with about an inch thick of dip. When they finally brought out a second bowl, they never brought out any more chips, which was originally about 30 chips. 30 chips for a 50 person event???? What a disgrace. After that the dinner was not that great. It was buffet style and the chicken marsala looked like dark brown gravy. I thought it was beef in gravy at first. The ziti looked like it was going to be a delicious vodka sauce because it was a pink sauce, but if I didnt see the color, I would have sworn it was just a plain tomato sauce. Nothing special at all. They also had salmon which was a complete joke. The tray came out with literally about 16 pieces of fish about the size of 1 x 2 squares. Again, 16 pieces for 50 people. The pieces were so far apart from each other on the tray it was comical. The people paying had to ask again for them to bring more out because everything was empty before half the people got their food.As I said earlier, me and my family had a wonderful experience a year or so ago when we held my parents 50th anniversary there, which was the reason, the people tonight, chose this event, but after tonights experience, I would never recommend this place for anyone to hold an event in the upstairs hall.Seems like being under new management means far worse quality and service.Find somewhere else for your event if you want to have an enjoyable time.
My co-workers and myself went there after a long day of training. The kitchen was down and only apps could bd served- which is fine. I worked as a waitress for over 15 years. However, the most disappointing part was the waitress. She was disinterested and rushed us. We wanted a few rounds of drinks and each time she would attempt to drop our check. At one point I asked her if we should cash out with her as it appeared that she wanted to leave. Her overall attitude is not conducive to waitressing.
I gave this place a try because the lot is usually full and the ratings were good. Well the food was absolutely horrible and the place was filthy! They sat us at a table that must have had a child there before us. There were plenty of other tables around, but we got the one that had half the kids meal all over the floor and seat including his shoe and crayons. Then our food was served. My chicken marsala was so rubbery that I could have bounced the chicken off the wall. It didnt even taste like chicken and was unedible. Another family member ordered the crab cake. It was so over fried that she couldnt get her fork through the bread crust. Her French fries were cold and the coleslaw was thick and not finely chopped. A third family member ordered a burger that turned his stomach on the ride home. If the eating area is this filthy I could just imagine what the kitchen looks like. I would never go back and definitely never recommend.
Hostess was missing for 10 minutes, restaurant was not busy. She popped out of the kitchen then went back in, until the barmaid told her there was people waiting. Huge attitude not polite and should not be greeting people. Don’t take a job serving the public if you don’t like ALL people. She clearly needs better people skills.
Easy to find...your sign takes up half the building. This place has potential for a revival but the back dining room smelled very musty and the carpet looked old. The burger was good but side of rice tasted part its prime. I think its time for an upgrade and to fix that damp carpet smell.
Fantastic atmosphere, table layouts, bar, the etc... and outdoor seating. Modern and clean facility with friendly employees. Fast service and a decent menu selection with delicious food. This is a great spot for bringing your friends or just to sit at the bar and meet new friends.
I took my father and his friends here for lunch and boy it brought back some memories. Back when this was Warminster Manor, I was just a busboy. This place, and the whole area, has changed considerably in thirty years.I was glad to see that Mikes maintains the same warm feel and look that made this place a landmark back in the day. The layout makes it easy to find a quiet corner to talk with friends, or meet with business associates. The menu is not extravagant nor filled with fluff and empty promises. The prices are very reasonable for this style eatery, and you will pay a little more than a sandwich shop for lunch. The lunches were served relatively quickly with little fanfare, but they didnt need any. The portion sizes ensured everyone left fully satisfied and with some leftovers for later. This motley (and occasionally grumpy) old crew raved about the food long after we left, with plenty of plans to return in the near future.
Had my baby shower at Mike’s Bar and Grill earlier today. Food was great but just an FYI you are not allowed to take ANY of the left over food home. It is written in your contract. We had TONS of food left over (probably enough to have an entire other party) and were told that it is a health code violation to take home food that is left over longer than 2 hours. We paid for that food anyway, so whether it’s out for 2 hours or 4, it’s still mine! I paid for it. Not sure if we will be recommending Mikes to others for parties for that reason.
Service is spectacular. If you are an avid philly fan you can enjoy any game on every wall with lots of beers to choose from. For those who want to dine without interruption they have an elegant dining on two floors. Food is delicious and there is too much to reccomend. Hope you experience it for yourself.
Went here on a Tuesday night which was advertised as Kids eat free. It was my wife and I and 3 of our children. We got charged for an extra kids meal, it was suppose to be 2 kids per adult. Our server did confirm it did not matter what we ordered off the menu. Cheeseburgers were overcooked. Service was poor.EDIT. My mistake. We did go there on a Wednesday and I did receive 2 kids eat free. I did not receive it for my 3rd child. Upon entering the restaurant, we inquired with the host as to wether or not all three children would be free with two adult entrees purchased and she said yes.
Not the place for burgers and fries. I ordered the Mikes Super at a medium done-ness. It came out well-done. I usually order a medium, expecting it to be at least medium-well. My burger had no pink at all. My fries were not hot and were hard (they were warm). Another partys food came out before my partys food and we sat down before them. We ordered our food with our drinks because we knew what we wanted. There were only 3 of us and we ordered two Mikes Supers and a cheesesteak. The other burger came out well-done as well and it was ordered medium. The cheesesteak was good. On a positive note, the atmosphere was great and the staff was very friendly!
I called Mikes York Street Bar & Grill to see if they would be willing to let us host a happy hour and they were more than accomadating! Our waitress Sam was great and she made sure everyone always had a drink! I have also attended fundraisers here and the catering breakfast items were excellent!
Absolutely love this place BUT this new ownerships management team SUCKS stop eliminating you speciality COCKTAILS AND BEERS. Your Manger Ceaser told me you patio was closed at 7 pm on a Friday night. How do you tell a regular on a gorgeous evening, that the patio is closed when there were customers already seated outside? Id love to know
The food is my first reason for liking mikes. Ive always had a good plate. Quesodillas are amazing. Small bar and big tv atmosphere makes it a great place for sunday football games as more than one game is usually on. There are three main dining spaces with plenty of seating. The bar area , the back area which seems more for gatherings large partys or just a dinner setting, and the outdoor dining area which would most likely be best enjoyed on a calm warm day but is undercover. There is a woodfired or brick oven fresh pizza station as well as trivia nights and karaoke. Good spot in Warminster to watch a game , grab a good beer on tap , or grab some grub.
Michele, Finn, & Steve and the assistant GM Doug are ALWAYS amazing behind the bar and in the restaurant!! They are the reason I keep coming back! After a hard days work, I love coming to Mike’s knowing they are making my drink when they see me walking in! Everyone is amazing here!!! Thank you so much everyone at mikes!
So sad to see this well placed establishment go down hill since it was taken over by new management, who do NOT take care of their employees well, and have lost all the best employees they ever had, My family were always there, it was the go to place for family gatherings. The previous owners and management & all the staff were like family, they knew every customer that came in and gave us great service. Will never go back.
Food is below average. Burger and fries seemed lukewarm. Was here on Trivia night and honestly it takes way too long. 8pm to midnight. Left way before it ended. I guess youre trying to keep people there ordering drinks, but dont see most people staying that late on a Tuesday night.
Ordered the blackened fish taco...it wasnt blackened, but breaded. Blackened might have meant burnt and overcooked though. It was dry with a lack of seasoning and sauce. Unappealing to the eye. Tasted like it was deep fried right out of the freezer and then let set on the counter to cool. Someone in our party got the wrong entrée and he had to wait while we all ate. No comps and just an off the cuff apology. First time there, will probably not go back.

2022-06-06The upstairs room was nice and decently sized for about 50-55 people for a baby shower. The food was another story. Best thing about the buffet was the Caesar salad and the garlicky green beans. Everything else tasted like it was made the night before. Penne in vodka sauce was half penne and half ziti and very over cooked. The pasta was dished out in clumps all stuck together. The bruschetta chicken was so dry that the cheese and bruschetta were crusted on top of the chicken and the seasoned potatoes were more like frozen breakfast potatoes. If you’re looking for a shower venue, it’s a nice place and decently priced, but maybe switch up the menu.

2022-06-26Hummmm Scott & Eric wake up.

2022-05-07Amber the assistant manager and Joey the bartender have completely changed our opinions about Horsham. They were both so attentive, friendly, and just overall a joy to work with. Form the second we walked in, we felt incredibly welcomed and loved our entire experience. We cannot recommend Mikes enough! If you’re in Horsham, stop by the bar!

2022-03-28It hurts to give what was such a wonderful place such a bad review. This place used to have the best management and staff around. The drinks were always fabulous and food always delicious. Since the change in ownership, I had not heard the best things but took my chance and had an event there yesterday. The service was still great but everything was AWFUL. You can definitely see the decline with the new management. They were out of the most basic beer products (Miller Lite, Coors Light, Mich Ultra, Corona products). I left my event completely embarrassed at what I just subjected my family and frustrated that I paid this establishment for such a horrible experience. I think it is safe to say that I will never again host an event here or most likely any other of the restaurants in their group. Which is a shame. I am so saddened that such a wonderful place has been deduced to this. Unfortunately, the new owners have really managed to set the bar low, so very low.

2022-05-16I hosted my grandmother’s surprise party here. Everything was great! The food was delicious. Everyone in my family approved, even the picky ones. The service (from Kim and Hennie) was excellent and the staff was very accommodating. Working with Erin (the banquet manager) was a breeze and she made the whole process very easy for us. I definitely recommend this place for events!

2022-05-21Servers were fine, food was blah. This has been a favorite of ours for years but we feel over the last 6 mos or so I have not been thrilled with the food. No specials-same food that is not as good as it used to be. Disappointed. Not many people there on a Friday night.

2022-01-21Its been a long time since visiting Mikes. I dont live in the area. Last time here my wife and were very pleased. Our son joined us this time around and we had a very pleasant experience. We had pizza and Flatbread, opening with mozzarella triangles. The beer was fresh and cold and a great accompaniment. We tries the new desserts which was served plentiful. The churros were definitely shareable for my wife and I. Our son enjoyed the skillet chocolate chip cookie topped with vanilla ice cream. Noise wise it was tolerable as we were able to converse without raising our voices. Service was also a plus as staff made us all feel welcomed.Mikes..a place you will want to visit.

2022-03-15Stopped by for lunch and not only enjoyed a crisp cold beer but an incredible burger. My expectations were far exceeded! Amber, who was on bar, not only was attentive but she corrected my order before I even received it. Excellent service 👌🏻
