I have been doing business with Modern Group for over 20 years. I have worked closely with Parts Managers, Don in Edison and Steve in Wilkes Barre as well as Diana in Accounting in Bristol. Each of these individuals are extraordinarily well qualified and bring a level of excellence not frequently found in my experience. Modern is my go to company for all things lift truck related.

We use Modern over our local Baltimore dealer every time. They always have what we need and its always here the next day. Keith is an awesome parts guy, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Whatever hes getting paid, it isnt enough!

One of their drivers almost took out the side of my car by going straight in a right turn only lane. Then he sped away when I honked at him, couldnt get a license plate. He was driving through 901 by sheetz at 12:50 pm. Tell your drivers to pay attention

BEWARE!! Modern Group doesn’t honor website pricing! Very Bad business practice!Gave them one star because zero wasn’t an option!I ordered a part on a Friday then Monday received an email stating the following:Quote: “Pricing incorrect on the web site. It has been corrected. Part is also not available. Lead time estimated at least six weeks out”. The lead time was of no concern to me!They then tell me along with an apology “If you want to, you’ll need to order the part again through the Modern Shop”. What a complete joke!I was hesitant to even place an order with this bunch after reading all the negative reviews but regretfully did anyway. Never again! I now see all the negs are true. They should have at least had the common courtesy to honor the price that was stated on their website. And if they’re too incompetent to post the right prices they shouldn’t have a website. This shows me that you’re just a number to them and they could care less about you as a person.Oh and as of when I wrote this review, the price had NOT been changed on their website! I checked to see what the new price was and it is still the same, lol!I’m sure if they respond to this they’ll try to turn it around and act as if they were helping me by canceling my order, lol, or how they value customers amongst other BS. Don’t buy it folks. Take your hard earned money somewhere where you are appreciated!

I ordered a small Bobcat part. It took two weeks to arrive. It was the wrong part so sent it back un-used. They refunded the purchase less $20 in return shipping and 20% of the purchase price to restock it. First and last time ordering from here.

I have sent emails and called many times today for a part my customer needs. First call and email was 6 hours ago. I have sent 3 emails since then and called 5 times and only get a recording. Still no response. Not a good business practice. If I treated my customers this way I wouldnt have any.

My experience has been terrible. I have been promised delivery of parts and generator over and over. Calls are not returned. Email is ignored. Lies are thrown out.My electrician is beyond annoyed since he recommended them. My next project will not be using Modern for sure.

I just left modern equipment in Bristol Pennsylvania. Ron Jr is always a pleasure to work with and their parts department is aces. I will continue to do business with modern equipment. I am 100% happy

I’ve dealt with Ron on many occasions. He’s always easy to get ahold of and always gets what I need in a timely fashion unlike Vermeer North Atlantic who treat their customers like Vermeer is the only game in town .. Bandit is the only people that I will do business with from this day forward ... I highly recommend Modern Equipment!!!!
