This business for sure deserves more than 5 stars. Ive dealt with Ron and his staff for 11 years and every single I came to them for any auto related business they took good care of me, and were always honest and professional. I have the highest regard for them. Dont hesitate to come in for any of your car needs.
Ive been talking all my vehicles over the years here. The owners and mechanics are very nice and treat you with respect.The services are great and the prices are fair and affordable.With family and safety in mind these guys have taken care of me and my family for years. Ive never had to bring my car back because something else went wrong.These guys dont just guess and throw parts at your car like some places do and if in the off chance they cant figure it out for some reason, like the symptoms you described arent showing, they tell you the truth.
First-time customer, called for a quote for brake work for my Traverse. Was quoted a good price. Work was completed on time. Ron and is crew are very professional .You defintely earn yourself a new customer.
They provide excellent customer service, perform excellent work, and are the most honest car mechanics weve ever dealt with. We found them over 10 years ago and they saved us $800 in work that the dealer said we needed but the Mayfair guys said we didnt. They could have performed the work and charged us less, but the said the work was unnecessary.
Have used Mayfair Tire more approximately 30 years. Ron, his brother and staff are friendly, helpful and above all honest. Informed us there was a manufacturer problem with our new mini-van before the company did; their recommendations saved our engine and improved our emmisions. Have provided similar service over the years in addition to routine oil changes, inspections and flats. Fair prices.
Mr. tire which once used to be “Mayfair Tire” is an extremely well ran company. My entire family has been coming to Mayfair Tire since 1986 and now Mr. Tire. Ron and his staff are the most honest mechanics I ever came across. They are always looking after the customer to do the job right, and the most cost effective way. I highly recommend taking your vehicle here.
Mayfair Tire is a very friendly automotive repair facility with staff that treats everyone with the respect and fairness that you should expect anywhere. They are always willing to go that extra mile for everyone. Office/waiting area is always clean and comfortable while waiting for great service to be done to your vehicle.
What A Great place!! I had some ( I believe) some serious car problems going on with my car these guys took great care on getting the problem worked out.. But one of the best things about this crew, they were Honest with me about issues concerning my problem.. And,, and, the price I was told by others, and Googlewas not even close of what I payed for including parts and labor.. I was so thankful!! This is a business of Integrity and I will recommend them to all!!! Once again thanks Mayfair crew my car runs GREAATT!!!
Local, honest, convenient garage in Mayfair.I have taken my car there several times and not only did they have great customer service, but they had convenient times to drop off my car as well.Both times they could have easily charged me more for service I didnt need, but specifically saved me from replacing both wheel bearings (Firestone on Cottman lied and said both were bad), and then reset a sensor that didnt need to actually be replaced when my cars check engine light came on.Will definitely be going back!

I have been going to Mayfair Tire for over 20 years along with my daughter and most of my friends. I have never had anything but fantastic service. They are as honest as you get, and never try to direct you to repair something that isnt needed...They are family run with old time morals...I cant imagine using anyone else for tires and matinence to my GMC YOUKON AND BMW...
Had my Lexus ES 300 in for VVT sensors & an ignition coil. I have to say Justin S. did a fantastic job. He really knows his stuff with these sensors and the electronics of my Lexus. Along with reasonable price & quality workmanship from Justin S. these guys @ Mayfair/Mr Tire are priceless. They have my 200,000+ mile ES 300 running like Im in the first 36000!! Thanks again guys!!
If you didnt think there was such things as honest mechanics then you have never been to mayfair tire. I do not know these men personally but they alway gibe me a few options when it comes to pricey repairs. One time they actually called to tell me it didnt take as long as they thought to do a repair so it would be alot cheaper than the initial quote. I was blown away. Have been going here for years and they never make you feel like they are trying to get over on you.

Horrible, rip offs!I had brought two tires with me to the place to have them switched out. This apparently is a bad move there since they cant charge you tons for selling you one themselves.They switched out the two rear tires putting the two tires they took off my car into the trunk as instructed. The bill was 45 dollars a tire with balancing. Im no idiot since I worked at a service station when I was younger. They just made up a number on the computer and printed it out. On top of that tax and a (get this) 15$ charge per tire to dispose of fee..instead of 5$. Although they were put in my trunk.So thats 120$ to switch 2 tires...plus charge me for disposal they werent doing , and mark that up 200%.I say to the front guy....i have the 2 tires you took off in my trunk, there shouldnt be a disposal fee. He didnt understand and got all tough guy with me probably thinking i was disputing the bill he was robbing with.I HAVE THE TIRES IN MY TRUNK. You cant charge me 30$ disposal fee if you arent getting rid of them I say.He then tried to get in my face wanting to fight me. I would have did that with no problems, but turned out he was a counter tough guy keeping the counter in front of him.So finally after screaming at each other for 5 mins he took off the 30$ he was stealing off of me..and I had to pay the thief 90$ plus tax to switch 2 tires for me.This place is a rip off that preys on you, because of the geological location. There arent many places around there so you are at their mercy. I wouldnt even roll my car into that shop if it was on fire.Total rip off.
Have been patronizing this place for 33yrs. Ron is the best, hell never steer you wrong. Have always recommended them to my friends and acquaintances. Would give 6 stars if I could.

Beyond poor service. 45 mn to fix a flat. Then I left without getting the job done. The worst service I ever gotten. The management attitude was off the chart. I leave in Mayfair and I will never spend a dime in business nor will recommend it to my worst enemy.

They are courteous and polite. They have it done when they tell you. They guarantee the work is done and fixed and they explain what they did. They also guarantee the work itself. If there is a problem, they call and let you know up front - no surprises. They will always work with you and guarantee the work they have done.

2022-04-04I finished work in the morning (I work overnight) and came out to a flat. Coworkers changed my tire for me. I brought the tire here and they were able to repair it and put it back on and put my spare back under my vehicle. I was here for less than an hour and they did not try to dupe me and also charged very reasonably. Definitely recommend!

2021-09-22I’ve been a customer for at least 7 years (they were still Mayfair Tire when I first started going there) and I just want to thank the staff here so much for their honestly, hard work and kindness. I had my car inspected/emissions as well as an oil change and from beginning to end my service was great, as usual. I really appreciate that you take care of my car so well. I intended to return for any services I may need for my car in the future. I definitely always recommend this shop to my friends and family. Thank you again!

2022-01-20Service was terribleguys all sitting behind desk watching TV telling me i had to wait n hour till they could do a patch on my tire for tiny pin hole.. said would last life of tire... Didnt last 24hrs.. went back and said did best they could tried getting me to buy new tire.. so I plugged it myself.. waste of 30$ ND time

2021-11-18This place wasted my time twice. I made an appointment to get new tires online. I arrive at the shop at the time I booked an appointment, only for them to tell me that they dont have employees still at that time and I have to come back another day (and they didnt contact me about this before I drove to the shop). Ok, thats fine, mistakes happen. I come back a few days later, and they tell me that the tires I booked on the website they dont have and all they have is these other tires that were significantly more expensive. I left without tires because they failed to notify me of any of this anytime, even when I was already there a few days before!

2021-09-301st time using them and quite impressed. Seemed very honest. Had an inspection and did not state things failed..only thing mentioned is breaks was on cusp and I knew that going in. They also gave me a coupon even tho I did not have one. Will def going back

2021-01-30This was my first visit with Mr. Tire and won’t be my last. I went In for an inspection/tpms light and had my strut mounting bolts tightened. I was very pleased with the service I received. The manager Ron was very polite and the the prices were extremely reasonable. Would definitely recommend.
