Happy anniversary NexFab!! Yet another year goes by and nothing from your member Bryce Rowe. I wish to thank him for taking my money and antique train part, giving me his wrong address and not showing up to court. I guess you still cant get in touch with him. Is there anyone else there that will scam me better then him?

Ive been a member for 5 years and use their lasers weekly for my art. This place is excellent. The South Philly staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. I can easily approach them for advice or help solving any problem I have, whether its with the equipment (rare) or with my designs. When I first started, I chose their least expensive membership level. It allowed me plenty of shop time to build my product line. Now that my art business is successful, lve moved to the next membership level up and it still beats purchasing and maintaining my own laser cutter. And my membership gives me access to MANY more machines than one laser. I highly recommend checking out Nextfab. I love the South Philly location most.

Condescending, rude, & unhelpful staff make using this space & its tools unpleasant. Also, the membership price is already exorbitant, then add that one is required to pay $60+ per class on using certain equipment before one is allowed to use it! How about free class(es) &/or a competence test(s) w/ the steep membership price?! I already have OSHA 30 & years of experience using shop tools. Besides the negatives, nextfab is a great space with many resources, tools, materials, etc. for all sorts of projects. Avoid their staff, deal with their admin. BS, work safe, keep your head down, & youll be fine. Or find a friend w/ a membership or home workshop & save your $$.

I have been a member for several years now. The facilities provide the tools for professionals and hobby-makers alike to design and create almost anything they can imagine. The staff is experienced, professional and very willing to help if you have any questions, or to just discuss creative ideas or techniques with you. The atmosphere created is cooperative, and is very conducive to member and staff sharing of ideas and resources.A solid recommendation for anyone that wants to turn their concepts into reality.

The greatest place on earth! Its amazing to find so many like mined, creative, yet unique people in one place, not to mention all of the killer machines, and equipment the place is stocked with. The classes are superb and really do get you rolling if you are willing to apply yourself. The staff is amazing, very knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. I have been crafting musical instruments for well over a decade, and the past three months I have spent here have truly changed my life. I came to this place as a believer, and in a short time I have become a doer. The skills I have learned in the past 3 months have become invaluable parts of my craft, I am forever grateful for the opportunity to learn them, and I look forward to picking up a few more. If your on the fence just take the plunge you wont regret it, if you need a push stop in for a tour. Come build stuff with us!

I really like the concept at NextFab. Excellent equipment- love the water saw! Yulia and Itsuki were very friendly during the Shark Tank auditions, as was all the staff. I was also there the week before with the Ben Franklin Technology Partners. I would love to contact them. Any possibility of passing my info along to the individuals I saw? Thanks, and if I werent two hours plus away, I would come more often...

NextFab has a great selection of classes (both intro and advanced levels). Every class I took I thoroughly enjoyed. I would especially recommend both wood lathe classes!

Not good no stars. I hired them for a small project and they wanted to deliver a very poor quality rendering. They delivered a second that looked like a slightly improved version of the first that didnt work either and did not fit the originals outline. It was trash. They were sorry and wanted to refund me only after a bad review on YELP. Not a good experience. I threw it in the dumpster in disgust. STAY AWAY. Send your people to school and learn the skills you advertise you already have attained.

No matter where you are starting from as a fabricator, as a designer, as a software or hardware engineer - NextFab will turn you into a superstar. Pervasive vibe of support, gentleness and creativity - a real gift to have this here in PHiladelphia . You are missing out if you dont take the time to walk in and take a tour ! Do that and you will be back !
