I can’t compliment the installment team enough. It took them 3 days to complete this entire gas fireplace from scratch. They were incredibly professional, kind, considerate, meticulous, clean, and hard-working. All of our interactions with them went so smoothly and they were great communicators. They even went above and beyond, and helped us mount our tv (they took MANY measurements to ensure the tv would be a perfect fit), and they even oiled the hinges on our front door! The scheduling process was a little disappointing, as we mostly reached out to them to follow up when we didn’t hear from them, but WELL worth the wait. Thank you so much, Gentlemen!

I bought a Lopi stove from north forge 2 seasons ago, and early this season a part went bad (that should have been a warning). I ordered and paid for the part and the tech came out and installed it within a week. I paid a fee at that time of $75 for the technician to come install the part, and that was no problem. Well, the part they sold me was defective, and within a week wasnt working. I let them know it was bad and needed replaced. This time it took them 3 months to get the part and then come back to the house. My wife was here by herself for their return visit, and when I got home found out the tech made her pay another $75 fee to replace the bad part. I dont appreciate being taken advantage of, and I certainly dont appreciate them taking advantage of my wife like that. This was not discussed prior and we never would have agreed to repay a fee that we already paid. I called the owner thinking this was a mistake by the tech, and he refused to budge and hung up on me. This is gouging at its worst. We had issues with the flippant attitude in the store before, and the arrogant sales people. We ignored it because the technicians were nice on the install job, but this is enough. We will not be spending any more $$$$$ at this place again - and I put five dollar signs because this store is very pricey. This is not a way to treat customers who spend thousands on a stove, maintenance, and upkeep. Very dishonest and poor business practice. We wont be back.

After what I went through I would not buy a Duraflame log from these people.I had an installation scheduled for 11/17/21 at 8:30a. The installer, Daniel, called 30 minutes after they were supposed to arrive to say they were not going to show up at all. Evidently it was my fault because I had not provided a deposit on the fireplace insert. Mind you, we had had several discussions over preceding months, they came to my home to measure, and we set the install date. Most damning, I had confirmed payment arrangements WITH THE OWNER (Carolynnne) one week prior on Nov 10 when I called to re-confirm that everything was a go: I was told they would give me a bill after installation. Not once during my months of interaction with North Forge did any person ask me for a deposit or say that one was required. There I was with a twice-confirmed date, all arrangements made with the propane company, and North Forge decides with no notice not to show up, and then blames ME for it! No apology, no follow up, no nothing.How about a quick reschedule? Turns out they also did not have my unit in stock and it would take at least two months to get one! How long had they been out of stock and how did they not know the week prior when I re-confirmed? So they scheduled an installation for a product they did not even have. No wonder they wanted to shift the blame to the customer!I was upset at first but now count my blessings. If this is how they do business I am glad to have avoided becoming their customer.

Husband and I recently purchased a propane fireplace insert. The service we received was phenomenal! They took great care to educate us about the different styles, sizes, and bells/whistles that each kind had. Everyone was conversational, polite, and went out of their way to assist us. We just had our insert installed last week and the two men on the job were professional, answered our questions, and did good work. Would 100% recommend North Forge to anyone looking into home heating and grilling options!

Ive been into their store a couple of times looking at stoves and today was the last time. Ill just say they are not friendly and they also try to make me feel like I dont know anything about anything. I have owned and operated a wood stove before by the way. Its their superiority complex I guess. Whatever, I have the money and will shop elsewhere!

Friendly, family owned, local business. Very knowledgeable and gorgeous showroom and selections. It wont be the cheapest place you visit but their products are a lasting investment in your home. Far better products than you will find in a big box retailer. If you care about your home you owe it to yourself to visit here before making a purchase elsewhere.

We got helped right when we walked in. Everyone was very nice, helpful, and was very family oriented. They all said hi and played a little with my 9month old daughter, which she loved. They had a lot of displays and options to look at. I did schedule to have them put a gas fire place inside my living room.

Heard about this place at a Traeger Shop Class and thought wed drive up to check it out. We werent necessarily looking for a new grill, but fell in love with the Timberline 850. Dan had the answers to all of our questions (OK, there werent a lot of them... I believe in research) and was friendly and full of useful grilling tips.By the time we had paid, and driven around to the loading dock, our gleaming new Timberline was on a forklift fully assembled and ready to be put in the bed of my truck.I was taken aback, to be honest... I expected this to be in a box (was actually a little disappointed about that... I like to assemble things). Dan pointed out that they never let a grill go out unassembled... they assemble and make sure the electronics work, that way if there are any problems, they are able to get them sorted out before the customer has to deal with any problems. To me, thats just good business.A few other notes... the showroom is large and cheerful with a great collection of vintage grills (including some lovely old Traegers). In addition to Traeger, they handle Little Green Egg and other grill products as well as a large selection of fireplaces and inserts.In summation, you can do a LOT worse than the folks at North Forge. Its a little off the beaten path, but I will gladly return for my Traeger needs. Dan is a great person to deal with and I would wholeheartedly recommend both he and North Forge to anyone in need of a high-quality grill. Its very much worth the drive from Lancaster.
