The worst agency for child care. Cant talk to no one. Called and left several messages on case worker phone. No call back. They have attitudes when answering the phone. No one seems to know anything. Just a waste of time if you dont have Tanf. I filled out app on 5/2. Everytime I call they cant find me, or my case is still closed. City of Philadelphia’s CCIs is not for working people.

I left CCIS more than THREE years ago and Im happy about my decision. It was simply too stressful to deal with lazy and incompetent workers. I found a remote job so I now work from the comfort of my own home and can be present when my boys are out of school for the holidays or have half days. Do yourself a favor and find a work-at-home position in your field (if possible) and use a portion of your tax refund to help pay for summer camp or find a free summer program. Trust me, you cannot put a price tag on a peace of mind. Several people have lost their jobs foolingaaround with CCIS. All the best to everyone!

Me and my girlfriend have been trying to switch our daughter from a far daycare, to one that is closer to us. The woman at the daycare said their is availability but ccis says its full. 2 weeks and no returned calls later and we are still trying to get her in there. Daycare woman sent over everything needed to show they have vacancy but these idiots never answer calls or call back and get annoyed if u ask questions. Most backwards, ghetto customer service ive ever dealt with.

I have the best case worker in the whole building I believe. Was having problems with my previous provider and wanted a change and stuff was wrong in the system from my previous case worker she went in and fixed all the mistakes and had my children back in a new provider within 3days. She was amazing. So grateful because not having them enroll was affecting my job,but she got everything situated and correct

I renewed my account online, and faxed over my paper work. I called several times to make sure they received it, left messages with my case worker and never got a call back. I just check my online status and it says canceled. I left a message with my case worker, and have been on hold for a half hour just to be hanged up on! I just want answers!

Terrible customer service. I called 6 times today, no one answered. I listened to their automated service the full 10 mins each time before it either automatically disconnected or someone picked up and hung up. Constant miscommunication there. Some employees blatantly lie in regards to services rendered. I’ve been trying to contact a supervisor for the past three weeks. She has not called me back once. I’m ready to go to the mayor or whomever CCIS reports to. There has to be someone I can talk to to get results.

My son is 19 years old now and I remember stopping my CCIS subsidy because of how unorganized they were, also because I had to keep leaving work early to bring them documents that Ive faxed OVER AND OVER AND OVER again. Fast forward to now, I have a 3 year old daughter and I cannot believe that Im experiencing the SAME EXACT ISSUE! I appreciate the subsidy but damn, Ill be out of a damn job and wont need subsidy if I have to keep leaving my job to bring them redetermination paystubs, verification letters, etc. Ive faxed AND emailed them plenty of times, just for my case worker to turn around and say No, I dont see anything why the hell is it only one fax machine? Speaking of case worker, shes NEVER at her desk, Ill call and leave several messages just for them be ignored, but when I get to my daughters daycare theyve already heard from her in regards to whats going on with MY CASE! Common courtesy would be to tell the PARENT WHOS PAYING the copayments whats going on BEFORE telling the daycare workers. Also, Why cant emailing them be as easy as 1,2,3...like how emails work in any other office, why do we have to jump through so many hoops just for a little help until we get on our feet? How can we get on our feet if were faced with shenanigans with this office every few months? Again, the help is appreciated...but the system and how its ran sucks ass!

I appreciate the help that I have received at this location. I stayed on top of all my appointments and turn all paper work in a timely manner and I havent had any problems receiving childcare assistance for my 2 daughters. I work over night and I am so grateful that this program helps provide my girls a safe environment so I can work and provide for them. Thank you ccis.

This office is one of the worst ccis offices every the staff from the front desk clerks to the workers are never on the same page you can call and talk to someone they will tell u one thing then u get to the offices and they will tell u something else. Anytime u ask to speak with a supervisor either there not available or they never call u back or my all time farvoite they will just hang up on you. The ppl at this office need training on working together for the better of the office so they can not be misinforming customers cause we are the ppl that have to suffer for your wrong information that is being given out.

They lost all my paperwork twice. I called my specific case worker for two weeks left messages I got no call back and her answering machine message was out of date.
