OfficeMax in other cities:
When going to Office Max I was on a search for printer paper for a picture for a friends memorial service board, as I was racing around the store to find the paper, I seen a worker and asked her if they had the paper and size she not only told me where it was she was helping me look for the paper as well. Now if thats not great service then I dont know what is. The price was good as well. And the casher as well told me about there rewards card and explained what it does and took the time to sign me up for it.
Horrible customer service store personnel very rude I was literally throw out of this store I was embarrassed because I did not have a mask on sorry i.dont live in filthy delphia. they did not even offer a simple disposable mask .please take your mask store rule and.place it where the sun does not shine
It’s fast in curbside pick up order.I had placed order online, and emailed back let me pick up only in half hour. When I was parking click the email say I was there, the employee gave me the order only in one minute.Nice online shopping and pick up in store experienceThe only thing is price is a little bit high ^_^
Love the self service printing. I was able to easily print some documents by email. Each one-sided black ink sheet is 12 cents. Each one-sided color sheet is 59 cents. They have a parking lot too. The employees were also very friendly and informative as I saw him patiently explaining the quirks of a printing device to a curious customer.
I really like shopping at OfficeMax 7231 Roosevelt Blvd Philadelphia Pa, very well managed, clean and safe experience especially during Covid times, the staff follows all the safety protocols, the staff is very helpful, from shopping to dropping off for FEDEX, very patient and very helpful, highly recomended
A company is always judged by its weakest link - Today I met Office Maxs weakest link, Donna in the copy center!Being Visually impaired (Blind as a bat with out my glasses). I have to send off some important faxs. I was on line for ten minutes when I realized I accidentally left my glasses in the car and did not want to loose my place in line. Office Max recently acquired new fax, copy machines that were all new to me and especially even more difficult without my glasses..I tried to signal for help from someone finally got the copy center attn (Donna) attention. As she started to walk over I lowered my mask an inch or two so I can ask for help. As I lowered my mask, Donna Yelled SIR PUT YOUR MASK ON NOW I explained I just want to ask you a question. She told me Follow the directions they are right in front of you. Without offing any help, she chose to cause a scene in public.Donna is by far the rudest staff member I have ever met at Office Max or any other place for that matter. Yelling at me out loud and embarrassing me in front of the other customers. I just stood there humiliated, while she repeated a few time Read the directionsPlease note, I have been to this location dozens of times and everyone is always very nice, except Donna. This is my second time dealing with her horrible attitude. At no time did I ever raise my voice to her, she was rude and obnoxious the moment I asked her a simple question.I will not be going back to that location.
The worst store ever! Im 100% sure it is not legal to market and sell someone $2500 of a product you do not have or will not ever have... Then take payment for that item and keep the customer waiting for two days before you cancel their order.... telling them they will have to wait 24 to 48 hours to have their order actually cancelled in the system and another 24 to 72 hours for a refund on a product you never had the ability to sell them in the first place! I never shopped here before and I will not in the future....do your self a favor go elsewhere. Oh yeah if you do have the audacity to complain or want an explanation on these decietful sales practices NO ONE CAN HELP YOU.... OFFICEMAX does not have a US based customer service system all of my calls were to offshore outsourced random people who had no ability to help me and admitted they could not understand why my orders were even accepted! I am very angry that simple good business practices are bring ignored. Things are tough enough with this stupid virus killing innocent people and the economy suffering. Thanks OFFICEMAX for making things worse!
In March, I tried ordering some products that were in-stock on their website.A few days later after I noticed they did not ship, I reached out to customer service who said they were now back ordered. At that point (about 7 weeks ago) I requested to cancel and refund my order, since then, Ive made 3 more requests and have yet to be refunded. Absolute nightmare dealing with customer service. Ive spent in total about 2 hours trying to get this resolved. Candidly, this isnt supposed to be this hard - get your act together OfficeDepot/OfficeMax
Turquoise was exemplary. My mother and I were having a difficult time formatting a document for my grandmother’s funeral booklet. We called over the phone and Turquoise went above and beyond. Over the phone, she had us email the document. She took a look and confirmed our formatting worked with their printer. We went over and met Turquoise. The document looked perfect. We stood there and printed it while we waited then she offered to fold them as well (there is a machine..). Regardless, another store was giving us the run around, telling us it will take over an hour to print or we’d have to wait until 8:30 tomorrow night! Turquoise made a challenging task during a difficult time in our family easy and simple. We were in and out in 10 minutes with a beautiful booklet/pamphlet for our grandmother.
The young gentleman who was doing copying and helping many customers was very proficient and guided me to the self-service area. However the older gentleman with black glasses really couldnt be too bothered with helping me. I reached out to him several times he came over once gave me a very quick Direction and left. I called out for help several times and just ignored. Unfortunately I did require some assistance and was unable to get it. When I checked out I went back to the young man who was again very busy and seem to be doing a lot of things the lot of people by himself. Was very gracious and offer to not charge me for the services. I did not take him up on his offer. But it was kind. They definitely need Moore Staffing there on the floor to assist customers especially those of us who are not completely computer inclined.
I came in this morning to have a Resume and Cover letter printed out and received absolutely no help. I have been coming here periodically over the years and have never had any problems with getting material printed out. I emailed my materials to the email used to get items printed and regardless of what I did a woman with Sandy brown hair said it showed up as a link, and told me the problem is not on their end, but was clueless in coming up with solutions to fix the problem. Will not be returning.
Seen a printer price in the morning 99 USD, came to the store and its 129 just 6 hours late.lr. Showed them a screenshot with date and time and still didnt price match. It took 15 minutes and conversation with another manager to honor this price so only 4 stars for the firm no we cant at first
Excellent experience this morning. I sent a 152 pages document via the website to the store to be printed in full color, spiral-binded, with a clear cover and red card-stock back. I received a text message less than one hour later stating that my order was ready for pick-up. Walked in and the nice gentleman handed over my completed book along with a receipt and I walked out since I paid online. 👏👏Technology has made running my small business very easy. 👐
Theres a number of bad reviews, but if youve had trouble at this officemax before, give it another chance. The store is well lit, and the staff is fantastic. I went in on a Saturday to get some things printed out last minute, and the woman at the print desk was polite, professional, and exceedingly patient as I was having trouble with my files.
Surprisingly good service. Went to get a poster laminated for the first time, rep was very polite and explained the procedure. Also purchased something that had a discount that expired but still gave it to me. Would definitely come back if u ever needed to laminate anything else!
I went to this office max to fax 4 pages and the woman at the counter wasnt any help at all..when I ask her if she could help me faxing as I didnt know how to fax never did it before..she said the instructions are there..follow the instructions ☹️ when I told her that those instructions were confusing she than say sorry we cant do it for you..you have to follow the instructions ..bad customer service!! I left and went to staples...they did help me 😊
I drop my fedex package on OfficeMax on 1-8-2021 now two week later and the package wasn’t even scanned and when I went to OfficeMax they said their not responsible for it and that fedex is responsible for the package but then when I called fedex they said they aren’t responsible and that OfficeMax is so they left me in the middle of both.
Albert helped me out. I was looking for a 50 foot Ethernet cable and I didn’t want to wait for my amazon purchase. The Ethernet cable from here was 35 bucks and the one from amazon was 11. I’m writing this review because Albert was able to give me great customer service and was able to help me make a better choice on whether to by a 25 or 50 foot cable. He pulled out a measuring tape and went the extra mile to know I was getting what I needed. While I didn’t want to spend 35 on a cable Alberts customer service made it hard to wait for my amazon purchase.

2022-05-18I have to use this location to fax and copy so many items over the last 5 months. The people that work here have been helpful and friendly. The time to fax is long but thats because faxing is outdated. Getting my copies done has been easy. The only time I needed help with that was cause I needed a copy of a double sided extra long paper and I was helped quickly once it was my turn.

2022-02-22I have been going to this location well over 10 years. am always treated like a valued customer. Steve is one of the best they have, among a few others who have moved on to other careers and locations, as well as a few that still remain current employees. There is a young blonde ( dont know her name), but she is also excellent! I have seen customers mistreat the workers many times on different occasions that I have been in the store and it is a disgrace how customers can be. I always say, put yourself in someone elses shoes and do the job yourself! Learn how to respect and be grateful. I have never had any issues with any employee in this store. Most have been very knowledgeable, helpful and very customer focused. They do their best to get the customer taken care of in a timely manner. This store has increased over the years in customer volume, therefore, sometimes the wait is a little longer. So be PATIENT customers. DONT BE IGNORANT to the people who are providing great services for you!

2022-03-29Office max/office depot have saved me when I needed a toner cartridge quickly. All the stores I checked nearby had no toners. Here in this store also there was only 1 piece available. The shelves were mostly empty, but those were available on-line. The pricing is not competitive as the on-line and store prices are much different as I found at the store.

2022-06-07My experience pertains to my attempt to drop off a FedEx package with a prepaid label at the Office Max FedEx service location at 7231 Roosevelt Blvd. I brought in the package with a prepaid label in hand. I didnt know how to best attach it so I asked for guidance at the counter. I was told that they dont have any plastic shipping label pouches because FedEx no longer supplies them. When I asked for some tape to affix the label to the box, I was told it would cost $2.50. For two pieces of tape. I said, Fine and went into the store to buy some tape that would surely be a more cost effective solution to the problem. Then I saw some tape that we needed at work, and I had a procurement card for a tax-exempt organization. So I thought Id do some shopping for work as well. I got three rolls of tape for work and a roll of tape for myself. When I came to the check out, I was told that I can buy the tape for myself, but the tape rolls for work wont have the tax taken off because Office Max does not honor state tax exemption, only their own - there is some sort of a tax-exempt Office Max credit card, and thats the only way to not pay the sales tax if you are a sales tax-exempt organization.Needless to say, I was furious.

2022-07-09Needed to print something. Go online and get the right email address (there are two different email addresses: one for them to print and one for self serve). Self-serve 2 pages only cost me 17¢. Good deal! People were friendly and helpful.

2022-05-29Everything about this store is great. Its clean, they have a lot to offer, but my favorite thing about is is how easy it is to get there. Its on a main arterial roadway (Roosevelt Boulevard, or if youre in the Northeast or North Philly, its the Boulevard), its hard to miss it, its around some gas stations and an Asian supermarket, not far from the Roosevelt Mall, and the its connected to a plethora of buses (1, 14, 20, 50, 70, 77, 88 (not directly, its like a 3 or 4 block walk), and the Boulevard Direct) with the 8, 18, 19, 22, 24, 26, 28, 55, 56, 58, 59, 66, 67, 84, J, K, R, Both Chestnut Hill Lines, and the Fox Chase Line all serving other sections of the city while connecting to at least 1 of any of the other routes outside of Frankford and other transit hubs that I mentioned in the parentheses (and of course all the buses and trains at or around Frankford, Philadelphia Mills, Neshaminy and Oxford valley malls, Cedarbrook Mall, Chestnut Hill, Fernrock, Olney, and Arrott connect to at least 1 of the route too). So the service is outstanding, and you can get to it relatively easy. And thats what I like the most because its not a burden or chore to get there and then have to be miserable traveling back.

2022-02-10My husband and I just had the occasion to use the OfficeMax on Roosevelt Boulevard near Cottman Avenue. We had to get some printing and copying work done. The man who helped us at the service desk was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and creative in solving our challenges. My husband also commented on how very clean and well organized the store was. I expected we would have to leave our projects there and pick them up later or the next business day, but the representative did our projects right away. I never got that type of service at the local competitors store. We will go to OfficeMax in the future.

2022-02-04The customer support is awful. I tried to return a refurbished laptop, they took forever to get bak to me and they told me that the the vendor will pick it up. By that time I was Outside os US. When I cane back I tried to contact the guy who contacted me and no response. When I called CS they trasfered me and a machine voice-mail popped up. Now they say the item is not returnable.

2022-02-12Terrible customer service forced me out for refusing to wear a mask.
