I had the best professional service for complete house plumbing situation. They not only squeezed my home in. Were here on time and completed job in one day. Everyone was so nice . Bruce made his subcontractor paint the door of my grandparents house a different stain than they wanted (solid instead of semi-transparent), against their expressed wishes, which they communicated to him clearly through his subcontractor BEFORE any painting had started. He overruled his subcontractor (who, very reasonably, had wanted to do what my grandparents had asked) without asking me.

I worked with PA Home Services on several projects at one of my rental properties. Bruce was very professional and reliable. He stayed in contact with me and provided me updates from start to finish. My tenant and I both found his work to be of acceptable quality.

I hired PA Home Services on 7/31/19 to repair the bottom threshold of my back door and to repair my steps and landing from the door leading to the ground. Bruce gave an estimate of $1,800.00 to replace all stair treads, replace all flooring on landing, install new threshold to back door, install new handrails and strengthen and support them and paint the entire structure(his suggestion if I buy the stain) with a 12 year warranty.When the steps was complete I mentioned that I wanted another coat of paint added to the steps paint and his painter argued he already did it. I explained if I can still see the wood grain you may have to add more than two coats. I also noticed the bottom step tread had a split and was weak I was told it would be fine its just that piece of wood. On 9/7/19 the door threshold started separating I called Bruce and sent pictures of the problem He tells me that the whole door frame is rotten. I told him if that was the case he should have stopped working on the job and showed me how bad the frame was, not after its falling apart and how can he tell when he never touched the frame of a door that was previously replaced. He sent out a repairman and the new threshold was never fastened existing structure of the door frame old and that’s why it was pulling apart and he fixed my bottom step. On 10/4/19 after I came back from vacation I called about door threshold showing gaps from where it was repaired I asked can he send someone to caulk the cracks thats opening up and Bruce said that he charges for service calls because he has to pay his workers then says he not going to charge me this time. Bruce never showed and he never sent anyone else to do the job and this has within the 90 days on a so called 12 year warranty.Beware of PA Home Services, all he wants to do is tell you about all the work his company can do always up selling to me to get additional work done that I was considering but I can’t get the job that he was paid to do done right.Bruce is that used car salesman over promises and under delivers. I wouldnt recommend him or ever use him again

Bruce has seriously restored my faith in contractors. I was putting up a fence, elecrical and plumbing on my house.He did exactly what he said he was going to do and ON TIME as well. The level of professionalism of him and his crew was impecable. If you choose Pa Home Services, you will not be disappointed. I will definitely be calling them for my next project.

Great job on my plumbing job new shower and vanity and tile work guy were professional. Keep you in the loop as progress moved forward. Did not use any pressure sale tactics and cleaned up after themselves!!Will be using them again after the first of the year.Karen H

Writing this review for all the good people who saved up money to have a job done by Bruce Cohen/PA HOME SERVICEs only to get screwed over. As a former employee I can tell you he does not pay workers for jobs by saying they are slow or late or some other nonsense, overcharges customers, never visits job site, hires workers from craigs list and does not do background checks. DO NOT USE! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE. This guy is a con and is looking to rip off anyone he can. What goes around comes around.....

I had a pro problem with my toilet. Water was running from the front and dripping from the tank. PA home services came out reviewed it gave me a price the next day they came out to repair job was well done no problems they called to check to see if everything was fine the next day all was well.

I had them come out to fix a clogged drain, turns out there was a bigger problem than originally thought. They took the time to fix the full problem instead of just putting a band-aid on the symptom. I really appreciate the high level of communication that they consistently gave. They were very responsive and able to get out to me the same day of contact.

Called to remove an old awning and they were able to come out same day and complete the work, the worker even neatly put the old awning in a nice pile for the hauler. very responsive and professional
