I went here to take my drivers test and was failed for stopping roughly 4 inches on top of the line instead of in front of it... I made no mistakes before that.
Was just in the DMV at Clearfield mall to renew my driver license. Maria Rose was wonderful. she greeted me in a very friendly way and definitely knew what she was doing. I was in and out easy peasy with a smile on my face. thank you DMV for employing such a fantasmical lady.
Everyone is always very polite and they get you in and out of there very quickly great service
The rude little bald man needs to be put in the back or find another job. He should never come in contact with people what so ever. We will never be going back to that office.
Went to change my address on my cdl, besides 3 employees I was the only one and was told that I still needed to take a number to get waited on. Then was told that they did not have the form needed and I need a proof of address, just moved and have nothing yet. Then was told that for cdl that I was to have my address changed the day of the move or it is a $300 fine, dont see how they could expect that when it has been 4 days and still have not received anything from the post office. Asked where I can get the form needed to change address, his reply was we have it here when he said they do not. Ok can I get it and fill it out and bring it back in to save time when I get proof of address? His reply no. I wasted my time today and I believe that they take the word power trip to extreme.
The staff, one in particular, were rude and talked to everyone like they were idiots. Except for Josh. Hes cool. He also treated me like a normal person!
Excellent. My son is Autistic and needed a state ID and they treated him very well. Very impressed.
Not real busy. But so hard to get things transferred from Colorado to Pennsylvania

If you just want your Drivers License Photo, its: Tuesday - Saturday (8:30 a.m.- 4:15 p.m.)Attention Saint Marys: Your hours are Wednesday & Thursday (9:30-4-15) for Licenses, but Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday for the photo lab (8:30-4:15).🍀Best of Luck🍀 to everyone 😃

2021-05-16The dmv gets a bad reputation for long lines and slow service. Yesterday we went in thinking the same. Well we were wrong!!! Everyone was awesome and very helpful! We walked in, someone greeted us and got us set up with forms and a number. We no sooner got our number slip and they called us over. The staff was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They got us set up with what we needed in a few minutes and we were on our way!!

2021-08-19If your like me, you probably didnt look at reviews before coming here. You saw their hours and proceeded to make the trip here. Funnily enough the hours google has listed are only for the taking of pictures...ANYTHING else DMV related they are only open by what they have on PA DMV website, which is not much and keeps getting less.Be prepared to drive 45min or more depending on when you need to go in.3 PEOPLE are manning a DMV that will only take pictures if you only have a camera card. Pointless.

2018-07-17In most part some of the people that works there are nice.But one man is not nice. I was treated differently.Than how I seen him treat others. He came off as a jerk. My husband was there and he was ok to him but me it was a nother story. Just because I am a female doesnt mean I shouldnt be treated like any other person . It was hurtful to hear how I was talked to. It was so ridiculous and rude. I think that every one should be treated the same. And it goes to show you how little respect people have for others.

2021-02-17Not a big fan of dealing with any level of government beaurocracy, but from the front door to the agents who assisted me, I was pleasantly shocked! Kudos to the staff of Clearfield DMV for a pleasant experience.

2019-04-02Refused to accept court issued marriage certificate even though it was present and my name was already changed on my drivers license and social security card. Was demeaning and unable to engage beyond repeating statements in pamphlet. Alternative service provider was able to competently and kindly complete my request with same documents provided.
