⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars! I very much recommend this Veterinary facility. I found it completely by accident and Im so happy about that. The staff are so caring and friendly. They will answer any and all questions. They explained everything thoroughly to me. I will continue to go here for many years to come. 🐕🐶🐕🦺
I cant thank them enough for everything they did for my family and I last week. I have never been to this vet before and they could’ve easily turned us away especially since we just kinda barged in on them. My dog, Bently, passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly. Animal control escorted us to this place. As soon as they saw us holding our 100lb dog, they grabbed him from us and immediately began to try to save him. They treated us like they have known us forever and as if Bently was their own pet. They did everything they could, unfortuantely he passed. My husband and I were a mess and they couldn’t have been more caring. The doctor explained everything to us. More than once. It was a lot to process but she was so patient with us and even let us say goodbye one last time.As tragic as this experience was, the doctor and staff at this hospital helped us tremendously. It could’ve been way worse if the doctor didn’t seem to care and try to rush us away. But she didnt do that. The staff was amazing and I cant thank them enough for everything they did for us and for our Bently.
I decided to take my dogs here strictly based on Google reviews. SO glad I did. Every single person that we have come in contact with whether it be by phone or when they come out to get the dogs, have been absolutely the best experience. They are all knowledgeable, caring and nice. Job well done ladies. Thank you for taking care of my babies! I cant say enough good things about this Vet!
Love pets best friends....... Caring vets. Emergency appts available..... They should be your vet...... Lost my baby Floyd, an 18 yr old mini jack Russell terrier, helped with End of life. He was very old n sick. The staff was awesome and things that they provided were awesome. They took his paw prints, took a lock of his hair, and they are in a small book and they have Cremation services, and a book with his paw prints, and lock of his hair came with it. They made it slightly easier.... I say slightly Because till this day I still tear up.... I miss my boy........ Now I take my Lily Pie to the vets there and wouldnt have it any other way. Thank you Pets Best friend for being there for Floyd, me and LilyPie.... P. S. I have never looked inside box w Floyds ashes, they even have them boxed in a beautiful wooden box..... Cremation done by Abbey Glen, Abbey Glen. Com
My boyfriend and I just recently started taking our baby, Charlie, to them a bit over a week ago. Since, weve been recommending them to everyone. Theres a world of difference between the care he received here as opposed to his former vet. For starters, every single staff member treated us and Charlie with the compassion youd expect to receive in any hospital environment. They truly understand youre bringing your family to them, and that was incredibly apparent right off the bat. For us, that was exactly what we needed because our former vet treated Charlie like money. At the prior vet, we went four times, and they had us in and out in 15 minutes with new meds and very little examination each time. By the time we brought Charlie to Pets Best Friend, he was dying. We had to admit him to the hospital, and they let me come visit him on the weekend and gave us a room to spend time together. They called every day with updates on his progress. They really just went above and beyond. We wont be taking any of our babies anywhere else.
Best vet hands down! Dr. Hoffman spent over 20 minutes on the phone and explained every single detail regarding my furry baby! Carina the vet tech was amazing and so professional! Anything we asked or needed she delivered! She was so energetic and was so loving with my pup! The receptionist Jennifer was also so friendly and super helpful! If anyone needs a vet please dont hesitate and please call Pets best friend you will not be disappointed!
These people love your animals as much as you do! Covid has hit us all hard and we are all working twice as much with triple the stress, but they dont let it get in the way. If you want solid care for your furry family, check out Pets Best Friend. Isaac, Jack and Leroy(my pups)love it there!
This vet was extremely cautious and caring with my dog when she came here for dental and a few small mass removals. I was absolutely pleased by how they treated her like their own. In addition, they didnt try to charge an arm and a leg. I came here all the way from NYC because their care is worth the trip.
Unfortunately, we needed to put our cat down recently. It felt so sudden cause she still would still come out and hang with us and purr, but she wasnt eating and hadnt really been for a few days. She had a tumor in her stomach and at 13 years, we decided putting her down was the best option. It was a hard decision, but everything the doctor said really helped make us feel like we were making the right decision. We hadnt even really asked for reassurance, but he just gave it to us in a very professional, caring manner, and we really appreciated how he handled everything and all that he said. We could tell he really cared and was very sweet towards our kitty.
I CURRENTLY HAVE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON YELP AND THIS VETS FACEBOOK PAGE. PLEASE READ THEM. I DELT WITH THEM FOR OVER 7 YEARS AND ALL WAS WELL. AT SOME POINT, EVERYTHING CHANGED AND 3 OF MY BELOVED LITTLE CATS DIED IN THEIR CARE AND AS A DIRECT RESULT OF THEIR VERY NEGLIGENT CARE. DONT TRUST YOUR LITTLE PETS TO THEIR CARE AND ALWAYS GO INTO THE BACK TO WATCH WHAT THEY DO TO YOUR PETS. REMEMBER, ONCE THEY ARE HURT OR DAMAGED, ITS TOO LATE! PLEASE READ MY PAST REVIEWS. ITS TOO LATE TO DISCUSS CONCERNS. ONCE AGAIN, KEEP AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, KEEP YOUR LITTLE PETS SAFE.
Everyone from the veterinarian to the veterinarian technician and the receptionist has all been extremely compassionate, kind and professional. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone with pet needs. Dr. Decker is truly Especial person. She goes above and beyond to help you with your pet.
I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars, it is truly amazing. My mom has been taking her dogs here for a few years so I decided to take my new puppy here, and they were so caring and professional and gave him everything he needed. You can tell that the staff truly LOVES all animals that come in for visits. The staff goes above and beyond to care for your pet and make you feel welcomed. Dr. Hoffman is the best vet I have ever met and gives clear, detailed care instructions after each visit. I commute a half hour from NJ to here because of how affordable and ethical they are. I would recommend Pets Best Friend to absolutely anyone and everyone!
We have been going here for almost 10 years now (3 dogs and 5 cats later...) and we totally recommend it!!! The people who work there are wonderful!!! All of the vet techs are amazing with my animals (and my kids !!) They are helpful and try to get you done as soon as they can. They answer questions and make recommendations that are helpful regarding prices and procedures.Going to the vet can be expensive but from day 1, they have always worked with us to make it affordable. The vet tech today went as far as to fill out my rebate cards and staple them to the receipts so that I could just fill out one thing and be able to mail them right in!!! (this is a huge deal for someone who generally leaves them in a pile in a drawer!!)We have seen the doctors come and go but they have always been excellent!!! And the fact that some of the techs have been there for the full 10 years just shows their dedication and makes it a place that is comfortable and caring. And finally...the ladies at the reception desk are also awesome! They always try to fit you in or get things done for you as quick as they can!The whole team is great and we truly recommend Pets BEST friend!!!
We recently had to put our ten year old dog down due to cancer. Everyone was so compassionate and kind from the point of diagnosis to the decision to put him down. I left the office sad for my loss, but reassured that we made the best choice for him. The Dr that helped us that day was amazing and kind. He was professional and was kind and loving to my dog. The techs that took care of him were also just wonderful.
Dr. Decker was terrific. She spent a good amount of time with me for a first appointment with the new kittens. They have a really good COVID protocol. You call when you get there; They come out for your pet; the vet calls you in the car before they do anything, and they return your pet to the car.
My golden has been going to Pets Best Friend since she was 8 weeks old. Shell be 12 in May. The staff is caring and efficient. Chloe looks forward to seeing everyone there and has always been treated well. They go above and beyond, especially Carina. We just love them!
I have had the pleasure of being a client to Pets Best Friend for many many years. The doctors, technicians and front desk people are kind, knowledgeable, caring and love what they do. They currently care for my senior rescue as well as our puppy. Each and every time I’ve had a issue outside of their normal care they have been responsive and helpful. I wouldn’t go any where else!!
I had to change my review. Today Im very concerned and the staff is being fantastic! My dog had surgery they removed some nodules that i didnt authorize. They didnt call timely. Made me wait an hour to puck up. Some of the staff are nice but most are clueless. I always have long waiting times. They are very mismanaged. The care is so so. My dog had a lump they missed.
Pets best friend is amazing!! They are always so caring and make my dog lexi feel comfortable when she is there. Dr. Sean is absolutely great with her and very loving and caring when it comes to lexi takes the time to listen to all our concerns. Jen at the front desk is always awesome when I call and so friendly. All the staff is wonderful highly recommended .
The staff and Drs here are ALWAYS amazing!! Ive taken not only my animals, but my parents dogs here for both checkups and emergencies, and theyve been nothing short of outstanding every single time. The front end girls are all incredibly friendly, even when swamped, and the vet techs are super helpful. The vets themselves are incredibly thorough with the exams, are compassionate and make sure to take the time to explain everything in a way that is easy to understand, while also answering any and all questions you might have without making you feel dumb. I cant say enough about how great EVERYONE Ive dealt with is!! Ive seen them go above and beyond for their clients, time and time again
We recently switched all of our veterinary care to Pets Best Friend. Since going we have met with Dr. Hoffman several times, with our dog and one of our cats. This specific cat is a senior cat and she is semi feral. I notice she was having some discomfort when eating but was concerned with how she was going to act for her veterinary visit. Doctor Hoffman and Catherine were amazing! They moved so slowly, wrapped her in a towel with calming pheromones, and were able to examine her and draw blood. I was shocked! How they handled her is a testament to how they would handle any pet. She can be SO challenging and yet they were so calm and slow with her!Additionally, about a month ago, our dog became lethargic and very ill. We brought her to see Dr. Hoffman and he decided on a course of treatment. But on top of that, he called us everyday for almost a week to ensure her improvement. Ive never had a vet show so much concern and follow up for so long. He even called us on his days off. Luckily, shes doing great now! We know for sure that we will be going to Dr. Hoffman from this point forward!
This Veterinary is the most wonderful place i have ever taken my cat Mittens to in my life. from the receptionists to the Doctors they all are unbelieveable. They are concerned not only about your pet but they always ask about you also. Since i have been there Dr Hoffman has call me at home more times than my Family Doctor. Thanks to all you are the best.
Had an appointment for a basic wellness check-up and vaccines. They very accommodating when I communicated that my dog may be leash aggressive towards other dogs. Staff worked together and made entering and existing the office a lot less stressful for all of us. They made sure my dramatic, reactive dog didnt directly cross paths with any animals even though they were very busy. Patient, compassionate, and knowledgable staff. Would recommend for sure. Prices were reasonable and about average for this area.
Dr. Decker and all of the technicians are incredible here. My kitten was in a dire state, with the outcome not looking good. I went to another vet 4 times and they did nothing for him. One trip to Pets Best Friend and they found the issues, hospitalized him for nearly a week, and now hes on the mend and doing well. Staff is very passionate about their jobs, and it really shows. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Had to take my newly adopted year and a half old pup for his first vet check up and having him for just 10 weeks there were some issues with him becoming fearful and snapping when faced with new people in the home. Was not sure what would transpire at the vet visit. As it turned out I was so impressed by the caring and patience Dr. Decker showed towards Kodi ; he was much calmer by the end of the visit as was I. Thank you Dr. Decker and all the remarkable staff at PBF!
This vets office is easy to find just look for the metal dinosaur out front. The doctors are freindly and know how to treat animals. They answer all your questions and so everything they can to help your pets get better. You can come in without worry and they deal with my chihuahua and make sure shes up to date with shots.
I’ve been bringing my dogs here since they were puppies. Now 10 year’s later with them being older they are always receiving excellent care. One dog Harper has had a boat load of medical issues and doctor Hoffman is always doing his best to make sure she gets the best treatment with her kidney and liver disease. I will always recommend this staff to anyone with pets. Simply the best!
Took our dog there for years and he was in his last weeks of life and they knew but did not help us. Said they would give us a paw print but no they did not. This was written in a time of great distress. I would like to share now that the staff at PBF have gone out of their way to address our loss. We did receive a sympathy card with Baxters fur and paw print signed by the entire staff. PBF definitely is a good place to take your animals to when needed.
They are the best vets around they got me right in when i called an said my cats mouth an face were swollen was seen the next day. The vet an tech were great with my cat very nice an gentle with him. The staff is always polite an friendly an prices are reasonable really love them
I have been using Pets Best Friends Veterinary Hospital for over 15 years and wouldnt think of taking my pets anywhere else. They have treated my pets, dogs and cats, with not only their veterinary knowledge and services, but with love and affection. They know how to calm me down when Im overwhelmed with the condition of my pets and have pulled them through illnesses that they could have died from. I trust them 1,000% with the care of my pets. I highly recommend them to my friends and relatives. The staff is extremely friendly and supportive. They offer all their knowledge to all sorts of animals, not only dogs and cats. If you are new to the area or looking for a new vet.....I highly recommend that you check out Pets Best Friend Veterinary Hospital.....you will not be sorry you did.
I have gone to two other vets in the area before I began taking my dogs to see Dr. Struening @ Pets Best Friend. One dog has very bad back/spinal issues and has never taken to any of the other vets well. He is MUCH more comfortable with Dr. Struening! She and all of the staff there are absolutely incredible! The level of care and compassion they show my dogs (and to me) is above and beyond what I have ever experienced at another vet. They treat my dogs as if they are their own, and they treat us (the pet parents) with understanding, dignity and warmth. The doctors and staff are genuinely kind, caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and just all around amazing people!! My initial visit, and those after, plus the phone calls to them, and the calls Ive received personally from Dr. Struening to check in on my dogs, have made such a lasting experience for me and my only regret is that I didnt go to them sooner! I am happy to know that all 6 of my 4 legged babies will be taken care of by this wonderful facility and its amazing staff! Bottom line: Im beyond happy and thankful for them, its easy to get an appointment, wait time isnt bad, level of care if phenomenal, prices/bills have been lower and more manageable than other vets Ive gone to, very accommodating, you can not go wrong with this vet facility!
My family and I have been going here since I had my first pet (15 years ago). Theyre always been helpful and careful about the choices they make in helping our pets. Things did change after new owners came in to play and made the place a bit more expensive, but its still worth it. The veterinarians have been amazing and so have the vet assistants. They handle the animals with care, even the fussy ones, and never get frustrated when they dont cooperate.
This place is AWSOME! Everyone that works there is sooo nice from the doctors to the people in the back and the girls up front! They are very reasonable too, much better then my old vet. They really care about your pet. My two doggos love going there. Shout out to John and the girls for handling my drama queen of a Pitt ! And its not the little one!
Had an absolutely fantastic experience here last night. I came home to find that my dog had gotten out of her crate, gotten into the garbage, and eaten some chicken bones.I was a nervous wreck and unbelievably scared, so I called around 8pm and asked if I could still come in so late. They reassured me that it was fine, and to bring her in for some x-rays to make sure she was okay. I dont recall the vets name, but she was AMAZING. She didnt act at all annoyed to stay late and make sure my pup was okay, and she managed to calm me down with some nice chatting while we waited. Seriously could not have had a better experience. So glad I decided to pick a vet close to home!
You do have to wait a long time for an appt sometimes. As someone already mentioned they take emergencies first. Someone recommended Dr. Jeffers to me and she is a bit daffy at times, because everyone wants to see her when she is there. The place can be wicked busy. The Drs there have taken care of 3 of my dogs throughout their lifetimes. I never had a problem with their treatments. They have never misdiagnosed any of my dogs. I think their prices are pretty fair. Dr. J is going to retire soon, but I really like the new Doctors they have hired so far.
I just want to thank Dr Decker and the wonderful staff at Pets Best Friend hospital for the wonderful care and kindness they showed towards my Bunny Tinker, and me. He was under her care for a few months. His illness was progressing and getting worse so he was cremated and sent to the rainbow bridge on 1-15-20. Abbey Glen Pet Memorial Park did the cremation. I have to also thank them for the kindness and caring they showed me. I was overwhelmed by the card with his paw print and a piece of his fur, etc.SincerelyJean Geyer
I cant say enough about Dr Hoffman and his staff. He is so compassionate, honest and available. After we took my cat Rusty to his office he called us 3 times in that week to see how he was. Unfortunately, Rusty who was 18 had to be put to sleep. He and his staff made it an easier process for us. Dr Hoffman explained everything to us. I want to thank you them all from the bottom of my heart. ❤🐱🐈
HorribleThey proscribed my dog steroids knowing what the side effects were when we called and told them she wasn’t doing any better on them the up the dosage instead of re-examining her. Our dog broke out in horrible rashes. These rashes led into wounds that opened up and would bleed non stop. We stopped giving her the steroids and took her to the ER. This place doesn’t get to the bottom of what is wrong with your let. I wouldn’t recommend anyone going here. Our sweet dog is no longer with us since they didn’t give her the right medicine and didn’t take the time to look over her again. All they want is your money.
Had recently started a new job with a rotating shift, ran to the store before night work and came home to find my 4 year old bull-boxer very lethargic and scared. Terrified with the possibility of needing to go to work while my dog stays home and slowly withers away and equally worried with having a blemish on my new employee probationary record, i picked up all 85 lbs of him and rushed him to pets best friend to at the very least, get an opinion on what i should do next. I was broke, still waiting on my first paycheck, anxious, scared, incredibly nervous, and was met by a vet tech that made sure i felt shame as well. That was 3 years ago, and now my almost 7 year Gio is happy, healthy, and spoiled rotten because i was able to stay on the path i had envisioned so we could be where we are now. The vet was always ok-ish, but after flowers mill tried swindling money outta me and that vet tech tried to make me feel inadequate as a pet owner, i swore off vets and would only do clinics. Now i educate myself on any symptoms and/or procedures and go into a visit armed with at the very least ballpark knowledge concerning the nature of the appointment. These vets absolutely own more knowledge concerning the healthcare and well being of animals, bar none. But when they ignore the personal details only the pet owner would know, they are written off in my book. Thats when i question the greed and manipulating tactics they hold over a pet owner, considering most people figuratively hand over a blank check if thats what it will take to fix their furry family member.
My shorthair had to have surgery and have a toe removed. Because of the severity of the cause, all of the testing and the surgery itself were done post haste. I could not have asked for better treatment for my pet ( son) ! All of the techs are fabulous and treat him like he is family , which makes going there for any reason so much easier and calming. The vets they have on staff are first rate in my opinion, and the office manager Rhonda, is the absolute best ! For me and my pets this vet clinic is heaven sent !!!
Ive taken both my boxers and my tabby to this vet for years. The only complaint is that their reception area is terrible during busy times, like in the evenings. I went in simply to pick up meds, and had to wait 30 minutes in line. Their front desk needs to triage incoming people better. I may all my appointments during the day now.they have been wonderful for the few times i needed a vet urgently.just like going to a mechanic, i rarely get an explanation for excessive/expensive testing and that can be frustrating. I wish they would help explain more into why certain things are needed, even if they are appropriate.they have been spot on with all of my pets medical needs, and I will continue to use their facility.
I have a three year old Pitbull, Dozer. He is very playful and excitable, which people are not always understanding of, even Veterinarians. My boyfriend and I have tried four other Veterinarian offices before I ended up at Pets Best Friend. The other Veterinarians that we have been to were unaccepting of him being excitable and also of him being a Pitbull. There were Veterinarians that wanted to muzzle him and also Veterinarians that did nothing to help our issues we have had of not being able to clip his nails, we were overcharged and in the end still had the issue of not being able to clip his nails. Finally after coming to Pets Best Friend, we have found a Veterinarian that is understanding of his personality, his breed, and has been able to get his nails clipped without sedation and medications. The entire office was welcoming of him and showed him love and affection, which he cant get enough of. I am glad I finally found a Veterinarian that I can trust and that makes me feel very comfortable that my baby is getting the proper care and attention that he needs. Thank you!
Dr. Barenbaum, the exotic pet doctor was phenomenal with our new guinea pig, we had lost one a few days prior and she helped school us on how to care for them and what signs to look for if they should become sick. The girls at the front desk were just as terrific and understanding. I highly recommend this vet clinic for your animals.
The service there was OUTSTANDING!!!!! The wait time was short . Our nurse Karen is a freaking rockstar!!! She made sure our pup was treated like a princess and the Doctor was amazing as well. Also the front desk secretary has the best humor anyone can ask for. The whole staff is amazing . Definitely recommend this place. Wait theres more the prices are Sooooo reasonable and affordable .
They love my Pitbull and understand her fears she had a bad past and is easily frightened, they take great care of her and wait patiently for her to adjust and trust them. They didnt force her they let her learn and allow them to do it so she knows that the vet isnt bad and she doesnt need to be scared.
Words cant describe how thankful I am to Dr. Barenbaum and the staff for saving my dogs life yesterday. They went above and beyond any vet I have ever dealt with to make sure my furbaby would be ok. Ive been going to this practice for many years and Ive always had good experiences, but yesterday surpassed all of them. Dr. Barenbaum went out of her way to give me options to take care of my dog. The kindness and empathy I received from everyone in the office from the receptionist, to the office manager, to the vet techs, to the vet herself was so heartwarming. They made a very stressful day so much more tolerable and I will never forget the kindness shown to me and my Lass. Dr Barenbaum is the best!!
Corinna (I might be spelling this wrong) is awesome and so is the female Dr that helped us today. My dog hasnt taken treats from anyone at our last Vet but she took them from both the nurse and Doctor this time and it was our first visit. Corrina suggested a kennel to board our dog as well as the necessary shots we needed for the kennel. I am glad that we chose this place because we just moved to the area. I loved the experience and suggest you pay them a visit!
Dr. Hoffman wanted to remove my dogs eye last October for approximately $2000.I went to a new vet. My dogs eye is fine.In addition, I brought in a 15 year old dog that day. He prescribed the wrong medications. He didn’t really care. They were more concerned about removing my other dogs eye.I tried to go to another vet in fairless hills. I didn’t even give my name about 15 minutes later after I called for an appointment I got a call from Dr. Erica Barenbaum and she actually yelled at me about calling another vet. I didn’t give the other vet, Village Veternarian any of my personal information. The receptionist must have called them. Caller ID probably. My new veterinarian in New Jersey got my animals records. My dogs are fine now thank god. My one dog has both eyes, they are fine. His eye never needed to be removed they just wanted to do it for the money, apparently it has a lot to do with the care credit they offer. My other dog, turned 16 and is in perfect health. She’ll be 17 in 4 months.Dr Jeffers was a wonderful vet. They kept telling people she was on vacation etc to hide the fact that she retired. She was kind and took great care of my pets for 18 years. She would be horrified if she knew.I’m lucky I caught the medication error and got another opinion. So are my dogs. They’re still alive. And doing great.Christine Capuano(I’m not ashamed to sign my name)
Have taken all 3 of my dogs here. Dr Struening was excellent. She did surgery on my one dog to remove a mass from her foot. Dr Barenbaum was excellent with my new pup Great Dane. She gave me so much knowledge n help for him. I am so happy with the Dr’s n staff. They take great care of your pets n r very friendly n caring. Thanks PBF!
There are only 2 vets I will take my pets, PAWs of Philly (for shots) & Pets Best Friends (for everything else). We saw Dr. Hoffmann bc my dog was not feeling well at all. PBF has always been great with him. Although my furbaby is small & cute he can be hard to handle when in pain (even if only a snagged hair). That has never been a prob for PBF. Im so grateful for all of the workers there.
Weve been going to PBF for several years with our two cats. Dr. Jeffers was great. About 2 years ago, I brought our cat Kai in for a routine check up. Dr. Barenbaum intuitively felt something wasnt right. He had a severe uti-she saved his life. Fast forward a year, and she found a tumor in his chest. We went to a local specialty hospital for further diagnostics. They couldnt identify the tumor, and wanted to do a $10,000.00 surgery, followed up by chemo. Dr. Barenbaum suggested maintaining him on steroids and regular checkups. Kai is still happy and healthy a year later. Second time she saved his life. I couldnt be happier or more thankful and grateful for her and the PBF staff. They are skilled, always honest, always mindful of costs-and they treat your pets as family!
Just a dude with extremely high expectations and I walk out of Pet’s Best Friend with Rocco impressed and feeling like he and I were treated like VIP’s from the first hello to the last goodbye. A long overdue thank you to everyone at Pet’s Best Friend and a special thanks to Carina and Cat for going over and above what is needed for their patients.
Echoing all the other posts about horrible waits for scheduled appointments, I want to add that I can no longer trust their diagnostic capabilities. We go in for routine shots and check up for our seemingly health dog and make the mistake to telling them that well be boarding our dog for the next weekend somewhere else. Now the dog is diagnosed with heart problems that require $300 xrays, $300 specialist, and God knows what other treatment! BTW, they say you could board her here while we perform the treatments. Also, they wouldnt give shots preventing us from boarding elsewhere. Quite a business theyre running there. Will never risk taking our pets there ever again!!!!
Dr. Barenbaum cant read an xray and told me when I brought my cat in for limping that the xray showed either fluid or a mass around her heart. I left there thinking my cat was going to die and they put her on two different meds. Long story short I got a second opinion and there is nothing wrong with her heart. She is limping because she has arthritis in her neck. When I went back to pets best to talk to them Dr. Jeffers screamed at me. NEVER GO THERE! DR. JEFFERS CANT KEEP DOCTORS THERE
The receptionist told me I was putting my brand new furniture before my cat ! Now mind you I have saved this cat from a life on the streets or in a cage! Meanwhile this cat that I have been caring for has mutilated my walls I have pictures of the damage the kitten is like spider man and our house is wallpapered so I wanted the cat declawed due to the extensive damage it is doing to our home yet Angela the receptionist accused me of putting this kitten last and my home first I thought this to be rude and ignorant of her to assume!! I wish this would allow me to post pics so I could show the exstensive damage this cat whom we still care for has done to our home! I find that its unnecessary for a receptionist to put her two cents or opinion into me making an appointment with my vet!!!
WOULD LIKE TO THANK ERICA AT PETS BEST FRIEND!!! I HAVE A 90 LB PIT WITH ALLERGIES. ERICA AND HER STAFF ARE NEVER AFRAID OF MY GIANT AND ALWAYS HANDLE HIM PERFECTLY. ERICA IS SENSITIVE TO MY FINANCIAL SITUATION AND ALWAYS GIVES ME OPTIONS. IT IS IMPORTANT TO FEEL LIKE YOU ARE GETTING THE BEST CARE FOR PET WITHOUT GETTING RIPPED OFF AND ERICA DOES THAT FOR ME. PETS BEST FRIEND IS MY DOGS BEST FRIEND!!!!!!
I will not go there again. I was blind sided with one of their Vet techs recognizing me from 5 yrs ago and wanted to discuss that instead of the real reason I was there. I had to go to the facility because my Vet was working out of there while the building is getting remodeled. It through me off and made me forget some important information I almost forgot got to tell the Vet.

2022-09-20I took my dog there for his annual shots overall the appointment was okay I just feel like it can be very pricey and the girls are trained to up the price and add on stuff you don’t necessarily need. It can be troubling just trying to get a flat rate out of them when it comes to pricing which I did not like. Other than that I do feel like they act a way towards dogs who aren’t trained professionally. I rescued my dog and he’s actually a sweetheart just loves the rubbies but standing by the doorway with the door barely slit open as a means to have a conversation because you don’t want to interact with the dog was a huge eye opener to me that maybe this is not the best place for my dog

2022-08-22We have been going to Pets Best Friend for many years and the name is truly fitting. The staff is very friendly with the pets and their owners. Dr. Decker has always provided our dog with great care and she is an excellent surgeon. We are so thankful to have Dr. Decker caring for our four-legged family member.

2022-07-23I have a German Shepherd and a Japanese Akita Inu. The former is very wary of strangers while the latter is ultra friendly. The staff were very good with both animals. They were respectful of each dogs personalities and gave each the space and interaction necessary to make the visit as low stress as possible. The vet was patient and happy to explain all the things I asked about.

2022-09-01Dr. Decker and her associates are absolutely AMAZING!! Weve been bringing our minpin to her since he was 8 weeks old. I moved to NJ with my family and we have a vet directly on our street. I will continue to drive the 35 minutes to take my pup to the vet to see Dr. Decker because he LOVES HER and we love her too. Shes AMAZING with the animals she cares for and ALWAYS calls personally herself to check in a week or so after any visit! Simply hands down the best vet office in the area. On the pricey side however our pup and the best care are worth every penny- you get what you pay for here and would recommend her and the vet office hands down any day of the week- seriously.

2022-04-21I was looking for a new place because with covid it was hard to get an appointment with my last vet. Pets Best appeared in my search and were available around my times. They are definitely worth it. Everyone is very nice and extremely helpful. Anytime they say they are going to do something like call back with results they do exactly that.

2022-08-24We see Dr Sean for our cat Pippin and intend to take our other two cats to see him this year. He has been great, in doing his new client/geriatric bloodwork for our cat (age 10 when we first brought Pip in), Dr Sean found out our cat had very early stage hyperthyroidism. I dont think it would have been found this early without their dedicated work. We worked with the vet to get hid condition under control and Pippin has been acting like a much younger cat now. Would trust this team with any of my pets and highly recommend them.

2022-09-20Very busy. Weeks out from seeing animals. Sent a request over for an appointment (picking a date available on their site). I waited 48 hours before I called to confirm the request. Now, I have to scramble and waste more time trying to make a vet appointment elsewhere. Im sure theyre are good people and good vets, but their service scheduling is not.
