As I explained earlier, I just went to Petsmart a few days ago and I needed assistance various times in between the three associates that help me they did an excellent job in helping me locate my dogs food, a new filter system for my fish JB, were very helpful and took the test of the water that I brought to them for my fish, and the girl with the check out was extremely nice
Enjoyed our visit. It was clean, and they had everything that I needed for my bulldog in stock. Sarge is sporting a new red Kong harness, and he also got a new short blue leash for more puppy training. Blue Buffalo beef dog food, 2 toys, dental chew sticks, a grooming brush and a toothbrush kit. My daughter is trying Blue Buffalo kitten food and got her kitten a toy also. Great things on sale too. At check out the cashier was very friendly, and enjoyed when Sarge tried to scan himself out. Great staff here too.
DONT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE MY DOG WAS INJURED AT GROOMERWhen I pick up my babe from groomer this what I get back when I talk to Kat the groomer she tell me oh I forgot to tell you but I’m going to transfer to a manager to see what can we do manager was so rude didn’t care at all worse experience ever
The employees are always so pleasant and in a good mood. I buy with confidence because they have an excellent return policy. I have returned many toys and even treats that my spoiled cat was not fond of. I wish there was a bigger selection of toys. Over all I go here for all my cats needs.
Reptile care given to costumers are not correct. Reptiles are not being fed or cared for properly. Highly recommend Petsmart to hire employees with reptile knowledge. I there today and one of the employees sold a snake to a couple and gave the wrong information for the snakes care. I own several snakes and the care given wasn’t accurate. I helped the couple with the correct care for the ball python and the employee was annoyed. And when we told the employee the frog looked sick she said oh well it wasn’t feed for 2 two weeks. Unacceptable care for their animals/reptiles.
Could have had better service.. employee actually appeared to be dodging me when I clearly wanted to buy something from fish dept..ok.. to revisit my review.. seems a new/ better crew of workers there.. on a few occasions I needed crickets which is same area as fish.. jumped right in and asked if I needed crickets.. very prompt service.. now I find myself stopping in often
If your looking for a good place to buy fish dont go here.They are extremely violent when getting the fish, and even when they tell you the those 5 fish cant be in the same tank together the continue to bag ALL of the fish in one bag.Which can cause a fish to stress and isnt healthy.Also when an employee sees a fish that is almost dead or dead dont just leave it in the tank take it out.And if the fish is moving just by the current of the filter dont leave it in there and just say oh Oh well its still moving. It was so obvious the fish wasnt alive it wasnt moving at all and was just moving by the current.If you dont know how to take care of fish or even sell them dont sell them at all.
I’ve had my dog groom there before and had no issues however that groomer no longer works there. So I asked for an experience to groomer that was good with medium size dogs and the girl had quite the attitude when I picked up my dog only to find out that she was not able to groom the dog at all or trim the nails. She said she was only able to give the dog a bath (and charged $60 for a bath!!) because the dog bit at her. The whole grooming last time was $82 !!?? If she had the attitude with the dog like she did with me I can imagine why the dog did not like her! Would not recommend Pet Smart for grooming!!
They are literally always out of bugs for reptiles. Poor selection of options. Almost always out of stuff even when Ive gone in the same day as the order came in. They limit you to only 100 crickets which isnt much when you have multiple lizards. They havent had hornworms, super worms, and wax worms in months! Pets arent taken care of well at all and when you say something that they should check on them they get snappy and rude with u. Its not our fault that we need to tell you to do your job! Your far better off going to breeders for any reptiles or bugs. Dont go here!
Probably o e of the least helpful ones Ive been too. Also if you want to adopt a pet it isnt quick at all!!!!! And hardly no one ever gets approved ever.. they want these animals to have homes (the cats especially) but they want too much personal info like income, if ya rent or own a home, and employment, etc...... I felt like I was applying for a high end job lol its bull soo if you want to get a new pet ur petter off going to the humane society in your local area...
Everyone was very nice. My brother and I came in about two or three times with bulbs that were broken, the staff was extremely patient and kind. One employee,K was especially helpful and showed us an alternative to the bulbs we had previously exchanged. This PetSmart deserves a higher rating!
I love PetSmart! The staff are very pleasant and welcoming right from the very start, when you enter the building. Which you can truely see how Compassionate theyre about there occupation an what that truely entails. Like being able to help and care for all kind of variations of animals. Plus they even have decent prices throughout the store and staff always being able to assist you and your animals so they get the best quality care around. Which I just wanna say Thank you for being an amazing store.
This is a nice Petsmart. Clean and bright. The fish look fairly well taken care of. Supplies are usually filled and its busy. Checkout staff are usually not that friendly. Floor staff or polite and helpful. Pets are welcome and usually some in there. A good place to go.
Went to this location to get pet food, we were held up by construction and ended up arriving just before they closed. we went in and the first set of doors were open and the second set wasn’t opening. there were still people inside paying and shopping, so we assumed they weren’t working. we tried to get the attention of a dark haired employee and she told us we couldn’t come in, that they were closed. we were standing at the doors confused at 7:01 as they closed at 7. what could have been a 2 minute trip today will become a 30 minute trip tomorrow at 6:59.
I have been a PetSmart customer for over 5 years. I have purchased all three styles of collar tags (Regular, Adjustable and Double-thick) and used them on 8 different dogs. I have never lost a tag that wasnt lost with the collar. Even after 10 years of abuse the tags are still clearly legible and in good condition. My dogs have ranged in weight from 60 to 85 pounds and run free on the farm often. Collar Tags are the only tags I will ever use.
Friendly staff and a good selection dont make up for the extremely high prices and often long checkout lines. Also, while I get the sentiment behind their pet friendly environment, Im not a fan of huge dogs with inattentive owners knocking my human babies down or trying to mount them. Perhaps a few security guards would help.
I was extremely impressed with the service and kindness of the staff especially the store manager named Harold one day when i got off of work i had to try my best to run to the store to get dog food for my pup ( everything is closed by the time i get to it due to the virus) i explained to Harold where i worked and that i had to get dog food he was so kind and let me in to buy what i needed eventhough they were about to shut the doors its the little things that make the biggest impact on people those acts of kindness cause a chain reaction. I definitely recommend this store.
Love taking my dogs for a trip to pet smart to get them snacks and a new toy. They always have a great selection of holiday collars:) The staff is always friendly and always ask if I need any help looking for an item. They always offer my dog a snack at the check out:)
I love the convenience of the location. I love the size of the store. I love the rewards systems and the services. What I dont love are the insanely high prices. I realize they do a lot of electronic coupon discounts but the deals they have worked out with the manufactures are not affordable.
Was very disappointed with customer service and when ask to see something I was told that they could not get the item out for me that I could only see it through the critter keeper. And then when I asked about crickets I was told that there were only the small boxes left. Was very disappointed with the every time I go in for something they are always out of these items. It not just this location its every location that I have been to.
They are very helpful was in on 10/302015 and was all so in on Tuesday of that week. I always have shopped their the groomers are amazing and good prices. The groomers listen to you and give you a run down on the packages and the prices and in detail tell what you is included in each package. The mangers are all so great. I have had no issues with the mangers either very easy to talk too. Thanks pet smart you all are wonderful
I made an 8 AM appointment online for the grooming salon two weeks ahead. I had never had my dog groomed at PetSmart before. I thought Id give it a try. The day before the appointment, at 1:30 PM, someone from PetSmart called to ask me my dogs weight. Apparently the groomer I was scheduled with only grooms dogs 40 pounds and under. Well, guess what? My dog is 45 pounds. So I tried to reschedule. Of course, the other groomers were booked all morning. Why did no one check on this before??? I got an emailed reminder from PetSmart two days prior to the appointment. Surely someone couldve checked my dogs weight then as well. Or, better yet, I couldve been asked right after I made the appointment! I definitely wont be making another appointment there. Ill go where theres better customer service.
The staff is very friendly and very helpful. Someone always asks if we need help with anything, and will always help when it is required. My only objection to PetSmart is that the items we require are often more expensive than on Amazon or online. Even things like wild bird food or aquarium equipment. I’m talking about the same brands/products, but through another vendor. I’m not sure why that’s the case.
We bought a rabbit cage here and the cage didnt come with the right pieces. It had 2 front panels and no back panel. I needed the cage in a hurry but they didnt have another one in stock nor would they be getting one anytime soon. Kayla was awesome. She contacted another store and was able to get me the cage in the timeframe that I needed it! They really went above and beyond for me. Great customer service!
Been sold already dead fish from them, sick reptiles, and generally the things there are in tiny cages and unwell from stress or such, as well as they never seem to have enough live mice and Ive never seen rats, so if your snake eats live food that may be difficult. By the way its a female only store but its not unheard of to get two of whatever animal one ones a guy somehow so its best to check.Still better then Petco though I cant deny that.
I just love this store!! The prices do need to be reduced at least by 15 percent. I encourage them to allow the pet owners to be involved in the bathing and grooming process. Pet parents should not be allowed to leave their pets out of their sight during personal hygiene care.
If you want a great groomer with a great personality and smile, see Tiffany in the Grooming Department. We left our other groomer just to try one time at Pet Smart. Well somebody was looking over us. That is when we met Tiffany. It is way more expensive, but worth every penny. Sometime you wonder when they will be done. Tiffany pays attention to every detail. Your dog does not leave the table unless she is satisfied. Wonderful young lady.
Wont groom my dog because they thought he had eye infection, but its from having a droopy eye as a puppy. Charged $67 for a dog bath🤬 but only would have been $110 for bath, cut, and nails done. NEVER returning there.Have to find a new place to get food and crickets for my bearded dragonWould give negative stars if I could
Extremely informative. My daughter is bringing home a tadpole and I was clueless about the process. Liam took me through step by step the ins and outs of what to do, what to expect and how to have a successful experience. I may be biased because if my love for my furry family members but I never really purchase anything in Petsmart. Im not privileged or knowledgeable enough to know about the inner workings of the company but I have heard odd some gruesome stories come out of the massive pet chain stores. For that reason alone I never purchase anything from them. The 2 times I have been in one over the last 4 years has been when I had my sons with me and they wanted to see the fish.
I like the convenience of the location. But i took my dog in a few days ago and she had razor burns on her from the grooming salon. And i was so furious i dont pay that kind of money for my dog to have razor burns? Or to sometimes bleed even. Next time Im taking it to the store manager. Its not all the time? But when it does happen? They dont ever acknowledge it or apologize.
The manager was very rude to my husband. He was trying to buy fish for a new tank. At one point she refused to sell him any. He tried telling her he had lots of experience wuth new tanks. At the end she sold him some but not all that he wanted with no guarantee on them. We will find a new place to go get fish and a new place to get all 3 of our dogs groomed.
Didnt have the Instinct food they claim to carry, and reptile food besides crickets are lacking, one of the superworm containers had nothing in the bedding except a few dead ones. Only positive notes were that the one dog food they had they price matched at 9 dollars lower without question, and staff is always friendly.
I really believe that the workers in the store are very friendly and knowledgeable of the different pets. Now me having an exotic pet really helped because some places dont deal with exotic pet. I do wish thought the prices were not so high butt you pay for the service.
Tiffany did an awesome job grooming peanut. Liked how I was anole to grab a same day appointment. What I didn’t like was the fact that after dropping him off I get a call that they checked him out better and found a few fleas. Ask if I wanted shampoo or frontline because for the safety of the other dogs he had to be treated. Fully understand but what I paid for them to put one application on him they sell for 3 applications I should have been given the other 2 application. Then to find out bath and frontline was only given after haircut. You would think bath would of been first, to protect the other dogs.
Would give a zero if I could. Ive been taking my dog here to be groomed several years. Today, things were very different. Physically examined my dog before I could leave? Refused to groom another small dog because he was scared? Clipped 3 of my dogs nails before they decided he was too stressed to continue? Are you kidding me? If you dont want to work, dont come in! NEVER take my dog here again!
DO NOT BUY FISH HERE! This is now the second time we bought fish here. First time was about 2-3 years ago, this last time about 2 weeks ago will be the LAST! Both times the fish we bought gave our other fish in our tank ick and killed them, as well as the new fish Dying. Stay clear and buy your fish elsewhere!Grooming department is also not worth it as well. We used to bring our dogs here but will not after our last appointment. The girl clearly did not know how to trim my dogs nails, and was not very friendly.

2022-02-27The kids love to come and see all the animals. Staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Pricing is a bit high considering tjmaxx is around the corner and sometimes offers some of the items sold here at a much lower price. Overall, great variety of products offered at this location

2022-05-21We sat at our table for 15 minutes and not one server came to our table. The irony of the whole thing is we were told they could seat us at 5:40 as long as the table was free by 7pm reservations. I said sure as long as we get served. I guess no one was assigned to our table so we got up and left.🤷♀️

2022-01-19So I came here because my usual place was out of crickets, and Im so grateful I did! The information I was given on how to care for a gecko I recently rescued was completely wrong. Carly gave me a pamphlet on how to care for him, showed me their setup for their geckos in the store, showed me the correct heat and light sources I needed and gave me so much useful information that has helped my new gecko so much! The store had everything I needed and Carly was amazing at answering all questions and showing me what I needed.

2022-04-09I like the place as a shopping site. I am disappointed with the dwindling supply of many cat food items. Please, we need to get back to the pre pandemic supplies. That said, I like the layout and the friendly associates. Now, lets find a way to improve the merchandise supply on the shelf.

2020-08-14Went in to get fish food, and came out with a hamster. The associate was very knowledgeable, and took the time to hold each one to find the best fit for our family. She recommended different things to me concerning food and a home for her, and we ended up with a perfect addition to our family! The cashier was also very nice, quick, and easy to talk to. It was a very good experience! And yes, I did get the fish food:)
