I called Brian to fix & clean my carpets. The rugs were poorly installed with rippling all over. They were soiled to the point where I thought I would have to have them replaced. Not only did he make the necessary repairs he cleaned them to like new condition. I will be using him for a yearly cleaning from now on.
Brian was very flexible when I needed to reschedule and made sure he showed up for our appointment. He repaired my carpet that had pet damage in two areas and it looks seamless. This was a good job!
Brian quickly scheduled our carpet stretching service and was able to stretch out our carpets to remove some major ripples we had. He was able to complete the job quickly and gave me great advice for further carpet cleaning and stretching needs. I will definitely be using Philadelphia carpet repair and cleaning in more of our rental properties in the future.

Great experience! Requested a quote online expecting a standard automated email response. Instead the owner called me directly and answered all questions I had.My carpet had been poorly installed by the last owner and I needed it re-stretched and cleaned. We had a carpet that was three years old and installed by a separate company. The carpet started to buckle in several areas and we were told we had to purchase a new carpet. From the very beginning Brian was very helpful. He responded to my request, came out to do a estimate and completed the job in a timely matter. My carpets are only 2 years old but I noticed there was rippling and bulging throughout some areas of the house. He came out with his apprentice, they were both very professional and they got the job done. Before Brian started he told me the causes of the rippling, how he was gonna fix them and that was that, (FYI not too many people specialize in restretching of carpets. I found this out when I was searching for someone to do the job). My carpets are now beautiful again and I have Brian to thank for that. He does a great job! This is a first class company, Brian and crew did an excellent job in my fathers house stretching a bedroom rug then cleaning it along with the Living Room and Dining Room rugs. The are professional, efficient, credible and friendly, all while doing great job. When they were done the right were clean, smelled fresh and only slightly damp, drying in a few hours. Brian is extremely talented in his work! I was searching for someone who would be able to fix a bleach stain in my rented apartment ASAP since we have to be out by the 31st. I called him on Monday the 28th and he was there on time Tuesday the 29th to fix our issue. Carpet Repairing and Cleaning as a last ditch effort and didn’t have any availability, BUT they made time for me!!! I was so grateful, but after see the beautiful work they did (stretching and cleaning the carpets) I’m pretty sure it was divine intervention. I plan to use them to clean the carpets in the ‘new’ house, schedule permitting.Both Brian and Austin were professional, yet quite personal. I called Brian to repair three thresholds that had been damaged by pets. He called me back right away and I was scheduled within 48 hours (really 24 hours with the Thanksgiving holiday). I wish that I could give Brian more than 5 stars. He scheduled an appointment right away, came on time, moved a ton of furniture, and made my carpets look new again. All of the buckles are gone! Then, he vacuumed everything, and put all of the furniture back. He was so careful and considerate with everything. Glad I found these guys! Had a drain backup in my basement that drenched part of my carpeting in my finished basement. Stressful situation because job was too small for disaster company; and too big or technical for most carpet cleaning companies (I called around and none could help).They gave me initial guidance and peace of mind when I first called; came quickly and on time; made a thorough assessment; were professional in appearance (e.g., company logos on vehicle and attire); conveyed a great deal of experience and technical expertise; and executed their plan precisely as they described it to save my carpets.While they were at it, they also quickly and neatly fixed an old, annoying bleach stain using a piece of spare carpet we had.All told, by the time they were done, it was all as if nothing ever happened. Best outcome possible! And not quite as expensive as I feared. Good value.

After hiring someone off Craigslist who botched a job replacing a stair carpet, I had only days before I had to move out of the house I was renting and needed to get the carpet replaced. Brian was very prompt with all communication and arrived on time. The price I was quoted seemed very reasonable. After looking at the area damaged by the dog’s nails, he suggested other options to repair it which would have cost significantly less than the quote. However, we opted for the best and most permanent solution. The work was done quickly and the workmanship is exceptional. The patched area is virtually invisible and even hard to find if you know what to look for.

These guys did great work. Had a small renovation that required some carpet to be pulled up. They did all of the repairs and restretching and left everything looking perfect. Would definitely recommend them for difficult patch and repair work.

2021-12-09Im updating this review because we had Brian and his crew back to clean our carpets. They did a fantastic job and brought our home back to life!They cleaned two wool carpets - one large area rug in our dining room and one wool wall-to-wall carpet in our media room. They also cleaned our stairs, hallway, master bedroom, guest room, and family room.Great communication, great service, and very informative about how to care for our carpets going forward. Dont mind the cat paw prints in the pictures :-)The review below is from a repair service call I made to Philadelphia Carpet Repair and Cleaning about a year ago or so (whenever the original post date was for this review)I received a phone call within minutes of my inquiry and had a reasonable quote in hand within an hour.My cat had torn up the carpet at the doorway because he was accidently locked in the room overnight.Brian arrived on time and did a great job repairing the damage! It looks like brand new again!

2021-10-20When I contacted Brian Kirk, owner of Philadelphia Carpet Repair and Cleaning, about stretching several areas of carpet that, over time, had begun to show ripples, I didnt realize that I had stumbled upon a gem of a company that offers a full complement of floorng services. The quality of their work is outstanding as is their commitment to meeting and exceeding customer expectations. Thanks to Brian and Austin our carpets are clean and look as good as the day they were installed. If there were more stars available, I would rate this company even higher. 2021-08-11Brian and his fellow co-worker were amazing! Great people skills and excellent customer service. The cleaning of the carpets for 2 bedrooms, a hallway, and staircase, upon completion looked amazing. It was worth every penny. The air quality in the rooms are much better the rooms overall just look a lot brighter and of course much cleaner. I love it. I will definitely be calling Brian again and patronizing his business whenever I need the carpets, rugs, or sofas cleaned.

2020-01-12I was moving out of my apartment this weekend and I contacted Brian about cleaning my bedroom. I setup an appointment by email and he showed up on time. He also provided a detailed estimate. I had to have my carpets stretched, repaired (in some areas) then cleaned. 2021-10-07Hired Brian to stretch and repair carpet in finished basement. He had great communication from estimate to execution of the work. The basement turned out better than when we originally had it laid by Home Depot! Would def recommend him!!!
