I’ve known Erika since college, and am always inspired by her dedication, hard work, and expertise as a piano teacher. Highly recommend this talented colleague and her studio!
Erika is an excellent teacher. She is kind, patient and tailors the lessons to what you want to focus on, while providing her own input on what is helpful. She is a wonderful pianist and has so much to share with her students. She also has a sense of humor!
When my husband researched a teacher and found Erika, he gave me the best gift- a talented, nurturing teacher and piano lessons! That was a year and a half ago, and I look forward to every lesson. I should never have worried that it would be too difficult to learn the piano at my age- Erika always finds a way to make me feel that I can accomplish a great deal!
Erika is a wonderful piano teacher - knowledgeable, enthusiastic, observant, relaxed. I look forward to my lessons with her, and would recommend her to anyone, whether you are just beginning or hoping to advance your playing skills.
My son Aidan is a student of Erika. He is 8 years old. He enjoys his lessons and is progressing very well. She is patient and encouraging. She is friendly and kind. Aidan practices happily each week because he likes Erika and wants to perform well for her.
Ive had piano lessons with a couple of the teachers because of scheduling, they were both excellent. Ive improved faster here than I did at other places in the past.
Erika has been an excellent teacher and motivation for my daughter. It has been a wonderful experience for all of us!
Had the privilege of working with Erika in 2016. She is great. Professional, skilled, and great with kids and adults. Highly recommend!

2022-07-14My daughter has taken lessons from both Erika and Stefani. Erika, instructed my daughter before becoming the director. Both ladies have been great, she enjoys lessons with the both of them, stating they are welcoming, patient and encouraging! I am pleased with my daughter’s progress. I would recommend the Philadelphia Piano Institute.

2020-09-21Erika has been a wonderful piano teacher for my six year old son. She is engaging, patient and fluid with her teachings. My son has made strides in the time he has been with her. Erika is also extremely professional, communicative and timely. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a piano teacher.

2019-03-04Erika is an excellent piano teacher. I have been taking lessons for 8 months with her and she has been fun, motivating, patient, and communicates information very well. I am really happy with everything I have been able to learn from her so far and the skills she has helped me build. Highly recommend her as a teacher if you have any interest in learning or improving your piano skills! Her piano is amazing too!

2020-01-20Ive been a student of Erikas for only a couple of months and Ive seen a huge improvement in my playing and technique. Shes very patient and great at giving tips that I can actually understand. Erika makes sure her students are comfortable and that theyre able to reach their full playing potential.

2022-03-29Im really enjoying my guitar lessons here, I would recommend. I just have an acoustic guitar but we are learning concepts from different genres per my request, not just chords.
