I have been working with Jenna from Philadelphia Trolley works and she has been so kind, patient, and helpful throughout the whole process. She has made the whole wedding planning process much less stressful with her friendly and helpful nature. Our wedding is in 2 weeks and I feel confident that the trolley will be on time and deliver great service! One less thing to worry about that day! :-)
I would avoid working with this company at all costs due to terrible customer service. Philadelphia Trolley Works was recommended to me by my wedding planner, with Tyrone recommended in particular as a point of contact with the company. I reached out to Tyrone last week in regards to pricing options for my upcoming wedding, and he was going to look into options for me. When I spoke to Tyrone today, I was first put on hold and then hung up on. Assuming we had just lost a connection, I called back and was rudely informed by the receptionist that Tyrone was on the line with another customer, and that I would have to leave him a voicemail despite having just been on the phone with him 30 seconds earlier. I never received a call back after the voicemail that I left for Tyrone before noon today. Needless to say, I immediately booked my wedding transportation with another company (Sterling Limos, who were perfectly lovely and professional! Highly recommend!)Im appalled at the terrible customer service I experienced today, and will certainly warn my wedding planner from recommending PTW in the future.
Request Evelyn as your driver! We had her this past weekend for a large wedding party. It was a long day for all of us as we drove around the city taking pictures. She was polite and very helpful to a special needs woman we had with us. Would highly recommend.
We had zero issues with our buses and our bus drivers had so much patience for our large group. We had two buses for our Friday event and one bus for our Saturday event. We got to our destinations safely and on our Saturday event, the bus driver even aided us in carrying boxes into the building as we were very short handed. We couldnt be more grateful. Thank you!
This tour bus company is amazing! The people are very nice, thoughtful, caring, informative, funny and make sure you are taken care of. This has been the best experience I have ever had. I have been trying to get my daughters prom money back. I understand these are unprecedented times. But I keep being lied to. I was promised two weeks ago that I would get my money back. They even took my cc info. Since then-- nothing. I call almost every day and someone always answers but the person to help me is never there

Tyrone in sales was so helpful and a pleasure to work with. Our driver was amazing, helped all the bridesmaids on and off the trolly, and was so friendly and funny. I would recommend them to anyone!
It was a pleasure to work with Philadelphia Trolley Works for our wedding. Logistics were easy to book through Tyrone, our vehicle was clean and attractive, and our driver was punctual and extremely pleasant.
Philadelphia Trolley Works chartered our group a bus to tour us through Downtown Philadelphia, passing by several notable landmarks on our way to a catered lucheon. They were very professional and competitively priced. They never waivered on their initial quote, when other limo and bus companies increased their rate when I called back to contract the vehicle. Philadelphia Trolley Works is an honest company.
Just received a ride from Ms. Biggs. I know its just a trolley ride but she was an absolutely bright soul with an exceptional attitude. She was so jubilant and happy that she reminded me about the importance of appreciating life/every moment you have here on earth. I even gave her a hug at the end of the ride! God bless you Ms. Biggs and I pray that God continues to bless your soul and that you continue to let God shine through your kind words and loving soul. Awful customer service. The original sales rep I was dealing with left the company. The new sales rep did not honor the original deal and stopped responding to emails entirely. Never felt so disrespected. Management did nothing to help. Please avoid this place and just have competition price match.
Will never use this company again. Waste of money. Big rip off. We got off at the Betsy Ross tour lady told us to wait out front for the next bus. Been waiting for an hour and half now in this heat feel we should get refund
We used Philadelphia Trolley Works to transport our guests to and from our wedding reception. The bus was always on-time and everything went smoothly!
Great Trip, me and two couples took 11 kids on the tour. The kids has a blast and the staff was informative and very nice. Would recommend highly.

Watch your bank statement after using a debit card with this company! Second charge appears as Philidelphia Troll as opposed to Trolley.
Great place to work and the owner gives u a chance if u r going thru and just need extra earnings evrbdys loving here and treat u like real family..
Tour bus company is not the greatest, they have not returned money that owed.The drivers talk to you like you dont have brain.
They cancelled on me and I have yet received a refund.
They have bed bugs and put employee and people at risk I reported and I have pics they have in vehicles I called n got hung up on and also email and no answer this is so u sanitary do not ride the bus u risk bringing home

2022-01-20Philadelphia Trolly Works was the best way to get to our location for our wedding pictures! The driver was extremely friendly, welcoming, assisted people on and off the trolley and got us to and from our locations efficiently and quickly! The wedding party that rode the trolly had great fun from the adults to the kids. We would recommend this company for anyones transportation needs in the city of Philadelphia!

2022-03-31Booked a trolley and a bus 9 months before my wedding, paid the deposit, and received a receipt confirmation. About a month before I called to check in and make sure everything was good to go. They told me that the person who took the reservation never booked the bus and that they would look into finding another one. After 2 weeks (and me checking in weekly), I was told they couldn’t do anything and that the buses they had available were too expensive (unless I wanted to pay more).A good customer service company would have said we will handle this because it was our mistake and rented the more expensive option. They told me there was nothing they could do, so I literally had to call over 20 different companies to try to get a bus for my wedding that was in two weeks. The customer service guy made us feel like it was our fault and was rude on the phone to top it off.

2021-05-22Was a guest at a wedding that used Philadelphia trolley works for transportation. Could not recommend this company less. The drivers were ill prepared for the job forcing >50% of the guest to be late to the church. On both the ride to the wedding and back to the hotel the driver got lost turning a 20min ride into a 45 minute excursion. On top of all these short comings they stranded the groom and bride at the reception for 1.5hrs as their guest were waiting for them at the hotel bar. I hope they refund money to the newlyweds for wasting their time and money.

2018-03-08Avoid this business at all cost. We engaged them for a wedding in Philadelphia and 1) even despite detailed instructions they sent the buses to the wrong hotels and then 2) employed faulty equipment so that one bus with a malfunctioning defroster contributed to visually incapacitating/effectively blinding the driver. Wedding guests were up front wiping down the windshield in an attempt to aid his vision. No such luck. He ran up on a median and crashed into a bike rack. The potential for physical danger to guests was very real and we were lucky that there were no reported injuries as of this review. When asked about compensation Philadelphia Trolly Works offered minimum recompense, were intractable about it, and had the stones to insist in the release that we post no reviews of the service in order to be compensated. Do NOT take a risk with these guys when it is a day that comes once in a lifetime. An epic fail.

2021-07-07I had emailed them about inquiring for wedding transportation. I got a call later that day, but he could not have been more off-putting. He started spitting numbers at me and then realized he was saying the wrong prices and then started with all new prices. I had asked Im if he could sum everything up in an email so I could keep track and see the details and his response was, Well... I could, but we have other brides inquiring and I dont want to make other brides mad. So apparently sending me a summary email would make other brides mad? I told him, Okay then were probably not interested (if he cant even bother to email me), and he hung up on me! Entirely unprofessional and rude. Wouldnt want my guests to interact with a company like this on my wedding day.

2020-10-16The easiest and most pleasant wedding vendor that we dealt with. I spoke with Tyrone multiple times throughout the year due to changing our date 3 times because of COVID. He was extremely helpful and accommodating. I couldnt imagine a better experience and then we met Vince, the driver. He took the time in the morning to do a dry run of the route before he picked up the groom and groomsman. He was very patient and pleasant. He arrived early and ensured that we got to all of our destinations safely. I would definitely recommend this company for any future events! Thank you!!!!!

2020-03-04We hired Philadelphia Trolley Works for our daughters wedding this past weekend and everything was perfect. Ray was professional, responsive , and very helpful during the process. Our driver Evelyn was amazing - prompt , professional, and friendly - she had everything under control and was a true pleasure to work with. She took the stress out of a very busy day! I highly recommend this team!

2017-05-03I got a bus for my wedding day from Philadelphia Trolley Works. Jenna booked for me and she was great! Andre was our driver and he was PERFECT. Professional and friendly. He was great. I have been recommending them to all the brides I know who are getting married. Their prices are the best. I was able to get a bus all day for cheaper than other places were doing a 4-6 passenger limo for 4 hours. I highly recommend.

2018-03-29We were looking into booking a Trolley for our wedding and contacted The Philadelphia Trolley company and they were on top of everything! Great with communication! great when it came to the price, unfortunately I guess we waited to long to consider transportation for our wedding and all they had left was a 24 passenger Trolley which wouldnt be big enough for our wedding party :( we were so sad because their customer service skills were top notch! I highly recommend looking into them! Just make sure to plan far in advance to get the bigger trolley if needed!

2019-08-06Dont book this company unless youre willing to be late to your own wedding. The driver (who is still employed by the company?!) was late picking up the groomsmen, drove into someones yard and got stuck with all the groomsmen on board, couldnt pay a towing company because he had no money on him, and proceeded to pick me and my bridesmaids up 30 minutes late for my own wedding. I missed doing a first look with my dad, we had to pay our church a $200 late fee, and the company refused to negotiate a reasonable settlement, claiming their original offer was fair and agreed upon. Aside from being a complete disappointment in terms of their operations on the day of the wedding, Ray was unreasonable in claiming the only other option we had was to raise a court case. This company has no respect for the importance of your special day and will certainly let you down.
