Parking was so close to entrance and attendants were very nice
Didnt pay to prepay... We arrived and drove straight into the garage and then visited the zoo. Upon leaving the gates were open. We didnt have to scan in or out and were left wondering why we paid $12 in advance. Was it free parking day? Broken equipment? Either way the garage is really nice and just a few hundred feet away from the zoo entrance.

$17 is a little steep seeing as how the zoo entrance fee is $20 but its expected when you dont want to risk looking for street parking. Found parking quite easily and right next to the entrance of the zoo which i didnt expect especially for a weekend visit. Will definitely be returning.
Went to the zoo on a beautiful day off season Many areas were closed because of Covid and early opening. Enjoyable visit. Had a fine walk to see the dinosaur display One complaint was that only one of the three elevators was working in the parking garage during a busy school break week. Well have to visit again when zoo is fully operational
Typical City run parking. $17.00 to park all day. Not bad if you stay at the zoo all day but with half the exhibits closed you can walk through pretty quickly, 3 hrs tops.
We went to Boo at the Zoo and it was a lot of fun. A little confused on masking as the zoo is located in a mask-mandated area (and there were folks not wearing their masks in the indoor places), but overall was a nice visit as always.
Close to zoo. If your a member your free. Parking is $17. I use sometimes and other times I can find parking about 3 blocks up on Girard. I usually go around 2pm. Some animal would be going inside and most would be still out and visible. There is also additional zoo parking going most West on Girard on the right hand side after you see the gas station on left hand side.
This is a great garage...the only company is that the spaces are a bit tight considering that most people drive SUV types for strollers and families. On the same note, people really cant park...many people were taking up two spaces.

Went for a Mothers Day trip to the zoo! Parked the car here since we ordered zoo tickets and parking online. There was plenty of parking and the car was safe and sound when we returned to it at the end of the day!
Update the bar code scanner for members! Theres no reason we shouldnt be able to use our phones to show a bar code. Otherwise it lets you park your car safely.
Luminature at the Philadelphia Zoo was fun for the kids and adults 👨🏾. Beautifully lit 🔥 walking 🚶🏾♀️ paths with lights everywhere.
The garage parking was a breeze. You dont have to take a ticket or anything, just scan the barcode, on your phone and you are good to go! Hands free, no touching a kiosk or anything!!!
The lady who worked at the gate is really rude but other then that its right around the corner so not a far walk. Plus right by the highway to get home quickly

Was a bit disappointed. Place was very dusty. I know its a DIY place, but the appliances were covered in dust. Not just this visit, once, a month ago as well. One female staff watching the self check out area was talking to a friend, and cursing in her conversation with the person. Loud enough that I heard it down at the register. Saw other staff sitting around in the garden center chatting to each other and looking at their phones. Not sure if they were on break or even on the clock, but thats what break rooms are for. Place just felt uncared for.
Expensive but easy and secure
Each level is easily accessible and the garage is just a short walk from the zoo. Last time we were here there was no charge to park!
Although some of the animal attractions were closed and theres a line to wait in for the lions and primates , my daughter had lots of fun the dinosaur attraction was a major plus Wich is extra cost
This is a much better experience than the parking nightmare that was going to the Philadelphia Zoo in the 1980s. Its a short walk to the front gate. It is easy to get to from I95 as well as getting back onto. Parking as of 9/19 is $16 a car and free if you are a zoo member. (Remember to play for your parking before you leave the zoo!)
The garage is full of garbage and there is only one elevator that works so there are lines of people waiting. The parking garage itself was a great idea and helpful to the patrons of the zoo!

Heres a place to park your car when you go the zoo.No cars allowed in the zoo proper.
Safe parking, but people dont know how to drive in the actual garage, getting to the garage, or around the garage. Very expensive, might as well take the train to the zoo to save an extra few admission tickets.

Americas oldest Zoo. Still love going here and now I get to bring my grands! All buildings not open yet but working towards it.
Something like $16 to park there for the zoo, and finding the path to the zoo from the garage was a little difficult. Along with the tickets for the zoo, it gets expensive. If you can manage, look for places to park in and around the neighborhoods that surround the park, some have free or cheaper parking. Had we known about those, we would have opted to do that instead. It was a 3 minute walk to the park from the garage, so adding a couple more minutes onto that to save money would have been no big deal.
The elevators were not working...after 3 hours of walking at the zoo, we had to walk up 4 flights of stairs. Totally sucked!!
Always, always, always full. We went early in the morning and still spent 30-45 minutes waiting for a spot. The zoo itself isnt bad but is more on the expensive side when it comes to food.
The zoo looked absolutely beautiful for Xmas...loved it!
So much better than previous parking situation. We have a yearly pass which includes parking. Plus, you can make a left out of here to easily get back to 76 (Finally!!!) when youre ready to head home instead of the old way of finding a place to make a uturn.
Easy parking, decently spaced sections. Close to the zoo and free for members. The staff seems nice and always there to help with arrival and departure. More lighting would be nice.

The spaces are tight, but theres not a ton of walking needed. We prefer to park in the parking garage to the lots or street parking. Its also easier to get back to 76 when leaving the garage.

Kind of odd to be reviewing a parking garage however this might be my favorite parking garage in Philadelphia mostly due to how easy it is to get to how friendly the staff is how easy it is to find a spot to park although that spots were made not for everybody having an SUV or minivan LOL so things can get extra tight but its also a nice easy walk back over to the zoo and of course the best part is its free with your membership
The first American Zoo its so nice and zen. I always love being there.
I always enjoy coming to this zoo. There are tracks in the air for the animals to move around the park so every so often you will see some small primates walking overhead and maybe even a tiger walking around.
Great parking garage. Very friendly staff. Not like back home in Boston. Was there to check out the Philadelphia Zoo and also to check out Terror Behind the Walls / Eastern State Penitentiary
This was outside parking around 1/4 mile away from the emtrance of the zoo.
It’s philly so it sucks Atleast it is next to the zoo. Over priced no cash payment available at the exit. . The best part was leaving you get to hop right onto 76 east bound into traffic.
The attendants were quite nice, the place is easy to navigate, and the exit empties right onto the Schuylkill eastbound, which is very convenient for people going back into Center City or South Jersey.

2022-05-26Just bought a membership but forgot about the bird flu. You dont realize how many birds are in a zoo till they are all gone. Most of the other animals were all hiding so we didnt see much. Disappointing first visit but hopefully next time will be better.

2022-07-03I drive an oversized truck and it was able to fit without issue. 7ft is the height limit and theres a little extra beyond that. Easy to park and the price isnt that bad. About 18 for a single vehicle

2022-06-27Garage is a block or so from the zoo. There were plenty of spots when we arrived on a Friday afternoon. Elevators and a ramp to get out to the sidewalk, although the ramp was closed when we returned to the car around 430. It costs $17 to park, which you pay and get the ticket for when you get into the zoo.

2021-11-16The floor is typically clean and the trashcans are never overflowing. The parking garage was full last time we were there, but the overflow lot wasnt far away at all which was nice. They also dont make you deal with an attendant so you just scan your ticket or your member card. Nothing against parking attendants, but its nice to be able to be self sufficient

2022-04-28I didnt park in the garage since Ive coming to the zoo for many years Im so use to park in the old lot. Reason two stars since the old lot they gave me free parking.
