Normally love ordering food here, but today they lost a customer for life. After driving 45 minutes round trip and spending $50 I find out that my order is wrong, my pizza has no bacon. I call figure theyll offer a refund or to remake my pie. After being told that only one of the pizzas had bacon, and then being told I was correct. I was offered to have a driver come swap the pizzas, and when I was called back a minute later and told that wasnt a possibility and that I could either come swap the pizzas or have the $2 back I paid for the bacon. (Even though Im now stuck with a plain pizza which is garbage) Do not order from pizza Roma you will regret it.
From the times we have ordered- they’re always rude on the phone and now refuse to fix incorrect cash/change issue on their part, which ended with them being automatically defensive and us out $10. Food is decent, but the attitude has always sucked. Wish they would learn better business practices.

I was disappointed when I ordered for my very 1st time. I ordered the family feast which was large cheese pizza, 20 wings and fries with soda. It came with a 32oz soda for a family feast which is not enough for a family 😔Pizza didn’t taste like much needs flavor and I didn’t care for the sauce. Cheese looked overly cooked . Not enough fries and slightly salty. Hot wings didn’t have much sauce.The price was not as listed on menu for the $19.99 I was told price changed to $26.00 due to wing shortage 🙄 Blue cheese was warm it was put in the container with my wings my total was about $29.00The only good thing was the delivery guy came fast with foodI’m not sure if I’ll order here again they need to honor prices. Disappointed 😔

Boyfriend and I had cheese steak & fries. Not bad for a quick walk in! Garlic knots didnt have much flavor, but were fresh. Maybe a little more garlic & herb.. They had cheese which was cool.
We picked up two pizzas last night and when we got home the cheese and sauce was all over the box. We had to pick the cheese off of the box and put it back on. I called the manager she was friendly but refused to do anything for us. I’m in the hospitality business and customer service is everything. This is the second time we ordered from this restaurant in the last week. Not only am I unhappy with management’s unwillingness to compensate us for the pizzas but we will not be returning to pizza Roma ever again. very unfortunate bc our family loves their pizza.
Probably tied as my favorite pizza in northeast Philadelphia. The cheese steak roll I got was also phenomenal. Well order from them again. Wish they were on grubhub though. If they see this, if you ever need professional food photos hit me up im a food photographer.

One of the staples of Northeast Philadelphia, been coming here for years. It was always a hangout spot when there was an AMC theater across the street and arcade on the other side in my high school years.Still reliable slices with that same taste I remember growing up. 1 of 2 pizza places that have been around for 30+ years that I recommend

Extremely disappointed in the restaurant. I am a long time customer that has always ordered costly meals from Pizza Roma. Today I ordered the Family Feast which is advertised at $19.95 but was told that due to the increase in cost of wings the price is now $29.97. I said fine and ordered any way. When my food arrived the fries bag was half full and the wings was very tiny (Size of a pinky finger) I called Pizza Roma to explain that I most certainly was an unhappy customer and expressed my concern about the small sizing in wings for the amount of money paid. I was told that they had nothing to do with sizing etc. I then explained that knowing that they are selling wings the size of a hen should have in good faith supplied a few extra wings in that case. Bottom line I will be no longer be supporting or buying anything from Pizza Roma.

Not even worth it. I waited 40 minutes for my food and they never cooked it. I waited all that time just to have no food and my break over. I will never order food here again. Then the lady wants to give me an attitude for her mistakes
Pizza Roma is one of my favorite places. They have been around for nearly 30 years with no signs of stopping. The prices are very affordable and the food is very good 👍. On Tuesdays a large pizza is like 7 bucks , I like the thin crust classic Well done!

Ordered 2 pizzas one white one regular. White pie loaded with garlic salt mouth was numb after two bites. Called to complain and was told if I want less garlic salt I have to tell them. I explained I get your whit pie every other week, he told me good luck next time. So I guess they don’t need my business anymore.

First time here and pizza and wings tasted really good! Environment is clean and cool! Looking forward to visiting again!
Meh. I stopped in at 1145 on a Tuesday. Empty store. Chose a slice of BBQ chicken and a slice of plain. The plain was better than the BBQ. The BBQ sauce was watery and lacked flavor. The plain was more crust than pizza and the sauce was lacking taste and abundance. Cheese was not as good as I would have hoped. This pizza was not greasy. This pizza had no taste other than dry crust. This place is cash only. This place keeps napkins, etc under watch and only give you 1 thin, bargain brand paper plate for your pizza to fall through. Will not be visiting again, but you can.

I was disappointed. The white broccoli pizza I ordered look like a vast dessert. Hardly any cheese or broccoli on the very small slice. Worker hand me the plate when I placed a to go order. No thank you, at all. I went back on 9/18/19 for white broccoli pizza again. It wasnt bad but still needs more cheese. Although the broccoli tops used seemed to be pureed. I felt rushed when ordering. The place needs a thorough, consistent cleaning. Its getting worse. Ive been going here for years. I will look for a new place.

Excellent pizza. I come in 2-3 times a month and get pizza by the slice. One of the very few places in the area where you can still get pizzas by the slice. As you enter they have around 10 different pizzas that you can order slices from. I usually get either a pepperoni or sausage slice. Its about $2 a slice which is a bargain. The slices are pretty big. The pizza is thin and crispy, just like i like it. Its not too greasy at all. They are always busy with people always coming and going. Everyone loves their pizza.

Pizza Roma has been my favorite pizza place for over 15 years. We order lunch daily at work, I stop in and bring home dinner usually once a week and every once in a while I call for delivery. I had my first bad experience a couple weeks ago when one item came over cooked. I ask for a refund for the one item, not thinking anything of it - everyone has bad days. I call for delivery tonight and there was a note from the owner saying no deliveries to my address. All over a couple dollars, so upsetting.
Customer service is nonexistent! They are very rude and dont care how long you spend your money there... they will be rude and the food isnt good find another pizza spot in the northeast it’s plenty of them.
Hands down they make the best barbecue pizza. I will highly recommend this place. I guarantee you wont regret it.
I simply love their pizza. They have excellent menu specials that are reasonably priced. 3 people can eat there and possibly have left overs for around $20 if you order a menu special. This place is cash only however there is a big sign right were you order that lets you know its cash only. They dont have free refills but their cups are generously sized so you probably wont need a refill.
Ok I just read a lot of the reviews saying this us the best pizza in the ne...no no it isnt. The pizza was actually awful! It was way too thin in the actual slice but too thick in the crust where I didnt need the dough. The whole thing fell apart on my first try picking it up out of the box.Like others Im sure, I came here because it has low prices, but the thing is that you get what you pay for!
Great slices!!! Each visit I specify that I want it hot, I even sit patiently waiting. I’m always disappointed and starting to believe they never attempt to heat my slices. No matter how how good the pizza is slices are the worst cold especially meat lovers 😏
Even though I hate that this place only uses cash and I cant always order here because of it. Besides that, the pizza here its amazing. Literally one of the best around. Me and my wife always think about this place when we mention pizza. This place has been around very long as well and its always full in here to eat.

I always order from Pizza Roma. I order $100 worth of food that was delivered. My broccoli pizza had too much salt. I have never had salt on it. When I called to address this, I was told there was nothing they could do. I guess Ill have to find a new pizza shop.
NEVER Order from here. My Mother got a turkey and cheese hoagie with extra cheese and oregano. They gave her hot peppers which she isnt allowed to have due to her health conditions. Than when she called back, a woman on the phone told her to just eat it, were sorta busy here. Than for 20 mins, whenever she would call, they would just hear her voice than hang up the phone. One time, they even just had static noise playing meaning someone was tapping buttons on the phone to deter us. I had to call back from my cell phone to talk to a Manager who clearly wasnt a manager. He just had the job pushed onto him. He asked for a receipt number which I didnt have on any of the bags. The only thing the bags had on them was my Address. Than when I wanted to be reimbursed, The Owner wouldnt allow them to send out the driver to reimburse us, WE had to go pick it up or we had to get credit which we are not going to use because we are never ordering from here again.

Coming from a pizza aficionado like myself,I can honestly say that this is one of the very best pizzeria restaurants in Philadelphia. The pizza here is freshly made and is of gourmet quality. The tomato sauce also has a sweet quality to it which further enhances the gustatory experience of eating pizza here. I highly recommend coming here to Pizza Roma . I know that I will definitely be back .
Great food but HORRIBLE customer service guy on the phone really rude and a very nasty attitude thats just enough for me and my family to take our money and business else where I suggest you do the same. Who knows what they do to your food if they cant simply be polite over the phone.

I’ve been wanting to try this spot for a while. I’m sooo glad I did! I only ordered a small Stromboli & chicken cheesesteak which were both so yummy!Stromboli was a small & was HUGE for only $6 you seriously cannot beat it. Now the toppings were extra so if you don’t want a lot in it your setChicken cheesesteak was so good. Meat was actually chopped & not chicken cutlets which I loved. It was a foot long for under $6 as well this place is seriously a gemI suggest ordering ahead of time because this place was packed when I arrived at 4p on a Saturday. They also offer slices which is good. Next time I come (yes I’m definitely coming back) I’m going to try the pizza.Prices are soo affordable!!!
My first and last time ordering from them. Pizza was burnt cheese was stuck to the box and food was over all nasty as hell. I figured since they’d been there a while the food would be good. They even ruined my salad. I wouldn’t recommend to anybody. And they were mad rude about me telling them my food was messed up. Very rude delivery driver as well.
Food is excellent, great quality and quick service, staff are super friendly, all except I guess the owner. Everytime I go there whether hes taking my order or not he looks at me like we fought back in the day or something. I dont let that stop me from getting food there, but It will stop them from getting 5 stars.

I been going to pizza Roma for over a decade. Last few times have been soooooooooo bad. The lady on the phone was very rude. The pizza was cold. The wings were very dry and over cooked. 40 wings down the drain. Idk if they changed ownership. Its just not the same pizza place. R.i.p pizza Roma.

Good food but rude, horrible workers. Cashier had an attitude over the phone and the delivery driver gave back the tip (reached in my home and put it on the arm of the couch, not even in my hand) and made rude remarks because the tip was too low. The tip was given by my daughter. Definitely should be fired.

I really like this place, it is one of the very few places that hand toss their pizza dough, prices are very cheap compared to their competitors. The only thing that sucks is, they don’t take credit cards so I have to eat at the pizzeria across the street from. I wonder why cash only?

Best pizza in the Northeast! Great place to stop in for a slice at lunch time. Their food is always top quality and fresh, and theyre staff is always kind and friendly. I ordered a cheese steak stromboli and a chef salad for my familys dinner tonight. The stromboli was delicious, as always, and the produce is super fresh. You will not find a better pizza shop in the Northeast on this side of the Boulevard. Pizza Roma and Superstar Pizza are top notch, I wouldnt waste money ordering anywhere else.

Best pizza in the Roosevelt Mall area! Perfect place to stop for a quick, delicious slice of pizza. Make sure to try their garlic knots, too! The garlic knots are huge!

Watered down juice and barely heated up pizza. I asked to reheat the pizza up again and the short older lady seemed to be annoyed with my request. She gave me back the pizza slightly burnt and threw the pizza back at me. Not coming here any time soon.

The counter girl (Gina) was absolutely rude her body language showed she was annoyed with her job. When I ask to speak to the manager I was told the manager was busy. Ok food and but bad service. Everytime I call this place to make an order for pick up, they are never opened. I have done this over 6 times and everytime, they tell me the same exact thing...were closed when I tell them that they instructed me to call at a certain time, they show no sense of care. They say they are closed and hang up. The ladies that take orders are very nasty and rude. This is a family owned business and I am not sure if they are under the impression that its acceptable to run a business that way but it sheds a negative light on them tremendously. I hope someone from this establishment reads this... I will NO LONGER ORDER FROM YOUR BUSINESS AGAIN and I will also relay this message to the 10+ people that in have recommended to your business as well.
Cash only,no sign on the door but their convenient surcharge ATM is right there,also sucks now and they charged for a refill with 3/4 cup of ice still left.Some workers were nice,some werent.Food was ok.Bathroom smells like fart and cheap spray and the toilet was clogged so I couldnt pee anyway.

I got hung up on by the cashier my pizza was burnt also they forgot my blue cheese on my wrap they wanted me to drive over there like I already paid for delivery why would I drive overs for that I would of gone in person it was late it was a weekend I stood about half an hour arguing with the cook about him returning here to drop off my blue cheese it was very spicy I ordered mild or non spicy it was expensive I had to call back several times because the cashier was rude to me extremely the guy said he would probably get fired for this like u maid a mistake then they said I didnt specify witch I did Im a cook being rude because u made a mistake is unacceptable then he said it was the other guy who did it I have been hung up by the cook here before also because they burn my pizza or when it gets here its all overs the top of the box messy they do need more sauce but Im paying for food dont give me sloppy stuff then get mad when I correct you they dont offer any like sorry or discounts to reconsile nothing ....very rude I was very upset

2021-11-28I was exited to stop by here being I use to live next to herea couple years ago, and LOVED their food. I ordered the family special with a large pizza 🍕, added pepperoni, fries, added wiz, 20 wings, Buffalo, ordered well done. The pizza was burnt. Bottom and top. The wings were so small and barely any sauce let alone did it taste like Buffalo sauce. It was very sweet. The only thing that was the same good as I remembered, was the fries. I wont be coming back. This place is not serving/cooking their food the way they use too.

2022-05-12This place has amaZing awesome food. Love the pizza!! Great steaks and hoagies!! Thats my triple order. If a place has pizza, steaks and hoagies that I enjoy they hit my trifecta!! Their other food is very good too so my family and friends tell me. I also know through friends and personal experience that they make a fresh meal hot or cold to the homeless in their area that they are aware about delivery included... Thank you Pizza Roma. So glad you rebounded from your fire and the pandemic... Live long and prosper.

2022-02-09Ordered wings and a ground beef pizza the other night.It was simply the worst food I have ever had delivered in my life.The wings had almost no meat,no flavor,and almost no sauce.The pizza was just as bad,terrible flavor.I cant quite figure out how a restaurant could decide that someone would enjoy that.I ate 1 1/2 wings,and 2 bites of the pizza,and trashed the rest.I dont care how long theyve been in business,theyll be gone pretty soon,believe me. AVOID,AVOID,AVOID !!!

2021-12-14Really rude staff. No matter who you get. In person or on phone. Every time. They overcharge and are always combatative when confronted it seems after reading a few other reviews. Food itself is ok but theyll probably mess up your order and tell you youre wrong. Wish they would just get shut down again and let a decent pizza shop take over.

2021-10-1410/14/21 - I got a meatball parm grinder!! It was absolutely delicious!! I like to put raw onions and hot peppers on it as well!! I really enjoyed it and could only finish half of the sandwich!!!Havent had this in a really long time and it was just as good as I remembered!!

2019-06-30Been here since i was in the 7th grade. Now im 38. Good food, workers come and go. Some r ok, some glad THEYRE gone. But simple pizza shop,quick bite, a must go.
