I like that you pay one fee for unlimited play. If youre sensitive to loud noises, you might want ear plugs; its EXTREMELY loud! Its a little pricey for a family of 5 to go, but if you spend the entire afternoon there, its not bad. Its nice to see a bunch of old school arcade games; we 80s kids had a good time introducing our kids to the games of our childhood. I do wish there was a discount for bringing 4+ people, but well be back again anyway, even if it isnt all that soon.
Took my niece for her bday & we all had a blast! (Shes 13 & Im in my 30s) They have all kinds of different arcade games and then some, old school games like alien invaders & super mario to new games like guitar hero, so theres something for everyone. The glow mini golf is a decent 10 holes & has some amazing murals!
Ive had a lot of fun with friends here. There are plenty of games to play and the mini golf is a lot of fun. Pool may cost extra but it isnt much and its really worth it. Great atmosphere and the staff are always nice. Definitely a place Ill be returning time and time again.
This was a lot of fun for a good price ($10 per person for unlimited free play). There was a great selection of fun games. Not all of them were working properly. The mini golf course was very visually interesting but not lots fun to play. Since a game was included in the price, it was fine. Not crowded at all on a Friday night. Not being a local, Im not sure if thats indicative of popularity or just something else exciting happening that night.
TONS of games to checkout and try. Definetly worth the admission fee; theres a few games that require coins but I didnt do them and didnt feel as if I had missed out too much on anything. (I believe it was the games that gave out tickets for the prizes). The glow in the dark mini golf had some pretty rad murals too! All of the games were running and functioning. More 2-4 player games than I expected which was cool! Looking forward to going back.
I had an absolute blast over the weekend with my family for several hours. Very family friendly facility, staff readily available to assist, extremely clean and well kept- and the cherry on top, the free play gaming creates a very affordable experience. We even enjoyed a hot delicious pizza during our stay. I love this place I will be returning absolutely!!!!
Lots of fun and exciting arcade games to play. The mini-golf needs some TLC though. AC needs to be either fixed or turned on as it can get stuffy inside. Other than that there is plenty of parking and fun to be had at Play Port so check it out. Admission is fairly priced and all the games are in good shape and ready for play.
This place is awesome! So much nostalgia. So many memories came flooding back from my youth. So many quarters were spent in the 80s/90s! Lol. They have everything. Skee-ball, pinball, shooters, hoops, racing, fighting, classics, billiards, duck pin, you name it! You must visit this place!
Cool place. Sadly a lot of machines were malfunctioning. Both house of the dead 1 and 2 had a dead gun. Daytona 2 had a dead steering wheel. Some other racing game had a dead start button. Cruisin exotica worked for all 4 players at the same time. Score. A hidden gem was this weird bowling game in the pinball room. Plants vs zombies pinball launch button didn’t work. Nor did simpsons pinball. Nor did tee time(?) Pinball. Guitar hero worked great. The “shocker” game cost a dollar and had a dead right hand stick.Countless other games worked great and gave my group a great time. Friendly staff.I’ll go again
They were able to accommodate our large group without a reservation and was fun for everyone. We had an age range of 6 to 45 and everyone had fun. Make sure you check out the mini golf! Super fun!Admission includes most of the coin op games available. There are a few you need to pay extra to play but reasonably priced.
Very family friendly and is greatly prived for parties. I love that the staff is extremely friendly, welcoming and available to assist you. Great place for a wide range of people to have an enjoyable time. I do wish they would increase the frequency in which they wipe everything down since everything is hands on there but throughout the few hours my family was there recently I did witness an employee going through amd wiping everything down. At the end when the remainder was due for the party they adjusted the package I had to make it cheaper since I did not have as many people show as were supposed to. I love that they have a couple party rooms that are already decorated so you dont have to worry about that but you can add to them if you choose to. As well as 2 pizzas and 2 two liters of soda pop are included in with their party package. At the end of the party time some of my family members did not want to leave so I let them have another couple minutes and the company did not charge extra for not being out exactly at the end. Nor did they give us a hard time. They politely found us in one of the game rooms and gave us a very friendly reminder that the party time was at an end but made sure to let us know we didnt have to rush out right that minute. They provide plates, cups and utensils for the party. As well as they have a place to store ice cream or veggie trays. I would defiantly recommend this place for a party or get together for ages about preschoo, little older than preschool and up. They have different options where you can do free play for such amount of times for certain prices or I believe they have ones where you pay for the games individually and earn tickets when playing certain games that seemed like you could cash in for something at the end. The area you turn the tickets in looked like it had a nice variety of options but we did not do the option to earn tickets so we did not actually go to the counter where you turn in to know wheter you can also use cash to help get a particular item if you didnt have enough tickets. As well as Im not sure how the value of the tickets is worth it or not. Hope this helps if you are looking into going there.
Had a lot of fun here. Got the weekend unlimited play. For the price, I wish it wouldve came with a pizza & drinks. That was an extra $25 on top of the $60 something we paid for admission. My 10 & 12 year olds had a blast, but I kinda wish they had a few things to entertain toddlers. All in all it was a fun time.
Was looking for something to take the kids to with the rainy weather. Havent been to a real arcade in years, so we figured we would try it out. The price was very reasonable, especially with the amount of games available that were free play. We paid for a family of four package deal that included a pizza and drinks. There were additional games that required tokens to play, but everything was very reasonable. Brought back alot of memories with the games available and everyone had a great time. The staff was very friendly and made the whole experience even better. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get out and enjoy themselves with a little video game nostalgia. Well worth the cost for a great day of entertainment!
Absolutely love this place. There are a ton of free to play games and there is a very cheap entrance fee to get in. Mini Golf although more oriented for kids is still a very nice touch. The staff are super courteous. Really makes you feel like back in the day at old school arcades minus having to dump a whole paycheck of quarters.
Spent $40.25 after tax for four people to go play 9 holes of glow in the dark putt putt and play arcade games for hours. It is good for the day and all arcade games are free except ones that give tickets. I wish there was hand sanitizer available but other than that a lot of the early 2000 games were there included in the cost. It was sweet. I didnt count but probably 50 or 60 racing games, 30 shooting games, 2 air hockey tables, 3 pool tables.I do wish you could continue to play putt putt over and over. It wouldnt cost them more but hey, cool place.
For about 10 bucks my wife and I got to play arcade video games for pretty much as long as we wanted. We got there at about 3 and could have played til 9. As long as we kept our wrist bands on, we could even leave and come back without having to pay again. Plus 9 hole glow in the dark mini golf was included in the price. Totally worth it! We had a great time. There are also ticket type games, VR, a laser maze and a food counter that all cost extra, but even those were quite reasonable. Wonder fun! Highest recommendation for anyone who likes video games, arcades and stuff like that!
The arcade was fun and it was great that most of the games were free play once you paid to get in. It got a little more crowded than I would have liked. The arcades Im used to have windows, are lit brighter and are cleaner. It was a little darker than I felt comfortable with, especially with 2 little boys. I was visiting for the first time from NC. Staff was very nice and accommodating. The little ones loved it.
Love this place! Obviously for 10$ you are not getting a glamorous experience-- but its an arcade, and I didnt really come in with an expectation of peace & quiet or perfection. Been here about 4 times now, and each time the staff are so so kind and helpful and seem genuinely excited to be there. My brothers love this place and my mom loves having us out for a while. It is loud, but you can tell there at least was some thought behind game placement to avoid deafening. Games are older, but theres an amazing assortment. Definitely a great way to kill a few hours without paying crazy prices. I recommend it to everyone! Love it!
Went on sunday February 28th 2021 ... must have picked the worst possible day..seen only 2/3 employees working, tables were filthy had to ask for cloth to wash 2 tables and was handed an dirty dry rag found sanitizing wipes and used those. ZERO cleaning to any of the games or balls or anything that had hundreds of people touching them all day. Spent over 100 dollars and was too uncomfortable enough to enjoy ourselves and had to leave early and bathe in sanitizer once we left... very disappointed to see how dirty the place was even if wasnt during a pandemic......I felt sorry for the few employees trying to run the front, the food, drinks, and rewards area. Of course they were unable to clean anything so I dont blame them. Poor management Im gathering
This arcade is amazing, very cheap to get in and it’s a really nice price. They have a lot of games including a nice selection of classic pinball games as well as Glow in the Dark Mini Golf. It’s a really nice arcade and the staff here is really friendly. The food is here is really good especially the pizza and the hot dogs. I totally recommend coming here then any other arcade here in Erie.
This place is so much fun, its like going back to the 80s for the old school arcade. Unlimited games for $10 and they have an indoor putt putt course thats included in the entrance fee, newer games as well as old. They also have a new VR area and laser maze room. Pool tables, air hockey, and ski ball. Great for kids birthday parties.
Great place to spend an afternoon or however much time you have on your hands and play some arcade games. Skeeball, pinball, air hockey and several video games will keep you busy for as long as you want. Admission is roughly $10/person for unlimited play. Awesome for a rainy day or any other time you have to kill.
Wow ! 10.60 for just admission and the games are all on free play. You cant beat that, this place is awesome for a date night. My husband and I love going here. And theyre open late ! Perfect place to spend on a rainy day or if the weather is just too much. They serve all kinds of food including, oh and pizza is delicious ! ! The employees are very helpful and its always nice and clean when we go ! Make sure you check out the golf room. Thanks Play port !
Great arcade with a full play option for $10.. good variety, separate rooms, glow golf, and restrooms. Theres plenty of classic cabinets and pin ball machines, shooters, full action games, and crane machines. Area to eat and a small snack stand in case you get hungry. The glow golf is set up well and comes with the cost of admission!
Finally a place where I can feed my air hockey addiction AND play a ton of other amazing games ranging from old school to modern day! Not only do they have all these great arcade games to play, but then you walk into another portion of the facility and there is this sick indoor black light mini golf course! Whoever did the murals in there must be SUPER talented! Then to top it all off the staff are all super nice and very courteous! Hands down one of my favorite places to check out around town!
I came in yesterday after I bought some groceries and the 2 employees kept them for me until I was done. The arcade was really fun it was a huge throw back I haven’t been able to play some of those games in over 20 years !! Staff was extremely friendly the place was clean and the games were perfectly spaced out. I loved the pinball machines I have never been to a place where you don’t have to keep tossing quarters into a machine, the admission price was cheap. I wasn’t able to try out the food since the concession stand was closed. But the best part of it all was as I was leaving I forgot my groceries!! The employee that was working (didn’t catch his name) chased me all the way down the street and brought my groceries to me not everyone would do that I will definitely be coming back with my family next time so they can also experience such a friendly atmosphere.
If I could give more stars I would. It was the most fun and laughing my family has done in a long time. The games were so much fun that you lost track of time. The price was very reasonable and the selection was many. If these retro games dont make you feel like a kid again then I dont know what will. What a great way to bring them back and reintroduce them to our kids. To play it in real life instead of remembering or explaining it to someone or your kids is like nothing else. Believe me you wont be sorry...just sorry you cant play longer or in our case...dont live here to take advantage of it because I would live there. Congratulations on this unique and awesome idea!!!
Play Port is just great. Its just over $10 a person for free play on tons of games . You get a free round of glow golf too. They added token games so you can earn tickets and pick out prizes. We had our daughters 9th birthday party here and everyone loved it. And the pizza is really good too.
Truly one of kind arcade center for both kids and entire family! This is an incredible deal especially if you have big families who want to play the games for just an admission price. My kids can’t get enough of this place- always fun and they enjoy the variety of games!
Super fun. Me and my wife had a blast playing those old nostalgic games. There is a flat fee for a certain amount of time and you would think that youre not going to be there that much time but you will be surprised. A lot of old great games but I cant believe they did not have Asteroids. They need Asteroids.
I love getting my picture taking at there photo booth ;-) . Its A extremely wonderful place 2 be. Great games. And snacks and drinks that is :) . The people there are extremely friendly. O so friendly :) . And the golf area is A amazing wonderful place :) . Keep up the good work play port staff :) . U make me extremely happy :) . Take care-Nicholas Alexander Leach.
I have not been to the facility yet. I did however look at the prices for birthday parties. I am kind of disappointed that only 16 guests are allowed in package(this includes anyone who attends the birthday party even if they dont play) I dont have a huge family but my son has Aunts and Uncle that would love to celebrate his birthday with him. They dont want to play games...they just want to enjoy him blow out his birthday candles. My son loves video games and this would be a perfect set up for him. I just wish the rules were set up that if you play you pay so that he can invite the friends he wants to invite and enjoy his family too. I wouldnt mind paying for the parents of the kids who play but if family just comes to the party and not play games....I dont think it should count against the number of people he would like to actually attend the games part. Please consider this...you have a great set up! Im not sure how big the party room is...maybe that is the issue?
Cons : Prices have been raised, but have not added more games to be included with the new price. instead they add more things to pay for and more games have been removed. Baseball cage is gone an entire wall of games that are ftp have been replaced with Token games. But what really upsets me about the place is the weekend all day pass scam I don’t know how much exactly but it’s like 3-4 more dollars more for the all day pass when the regular admission is the same thing, no one comes after you after your 3 hours are up I don’t even believe they have a way to track it, the all day pass just robs your pockets for the same exact thing. I’ve been to play port a lot and not once on a weekend have I been told to leave past 3 hours.Pros. Would give it a 2 start if it wasn’t for how clean the place is some arcades I’ve been to are disgusting also like how accommodating the employees are, nicest employees I’ve ever met at any game/ arcade establishment most arcades I’ve travelled to had employees who looked like they would fight you if you talked to them, very kind to special needs citizens (my brother) and also have a lot of personality . If you lose a quarter/token whatever you call it In a game employees don’t stop until you are set right with a solution. Glow golf is big for it being free with admission. And the VR is extremely cool, prices are fair compared to other places.Haven’t ate at the pizza stand yet so I can’t say how the food is
Playport Arcade in Erie, Pa is the place to be!! My entire family loves coming here. We spend hours here together as a family, it makes me so happy as a mom! There is so much variety here to choose from. Pinball machines, arcade games, air hockey, coin-op games, and a very cool fortune teller game which is my personal favorite. My kids love the indoor glow golf course and the laser maze the most! The laser maze is a new attraction there and it is so neat!! My son is already begging me to have his birthday party here in the fall lol. The owners are super friendly and we get a great vibe every time we go here. So nice to see a family owned business that’s local. We will definitely be coming here for many years to come. I heard they just started BYOB nights in the late evenings on Friday night for adults only so I will definitely be checking this out soon with some friends. I give this place a thumbs up!! Go check it out!
Its okay. The place was messy and the glow in the dark golf course was very cramped which didnt help my anxiety. Though the video arcade games were in very good condition. They had so many games from shoot em ups to cruisn USA (my favorite) to a skiing game I have never seen before. The place is darkly lit so you can see the screens better but its way easier for my friends to unintentionally scare me because I cant see where anyone is. The only reason I went was because of my friends birthday parties. Also you arent allowed to bring in outside food like pizza for parties. But cake, pop and chips are fine. I wouldnt pay to go there again but if someone invited me to another birthday party there. Im going to that party. In conclusion, its not bad but not good.
Kind of a mixed bag.Pros: lots of variety in th games. Nostalgic for older people who grew up playing in arcades. Kid friendly environment. Pay a flat rate at the door and all the games are free from there.Cons: many of the games are broken. Kinda cramped in placement. Obviously games are quite dated. In all...its fun for a couple hours but it gets old after that.
Lots of new and retro games. Had a blast. VR on the way there soon as well. Know the owners to really care about their customers and employees. They are older games and some have issues at times, but they always strive to have them in working order asap. Guess to be expected for some games over 30 years old!
The employees here werent to helpful. I stood at the register for 10 minutes! I heard them talking in the break room about well. Lets just say kid stuff and eventually one looked out to notice I was there to take my money to let me in. The place also was messy. Like nobody did the floors in weeks. Ill be back soon and will change my review if its improved!
I enjoyex this plce lot. They have tons to offer especially if you enjoy a taste of the past when it comes to arcade games. They also offer a taste of new school games along with pool and table soccer (fooseball). It is perfect for parties along with casual play. They have a 21 and older byob on the weekends and offer unlimited play. For those sensitive to sound, this cam be a noisy place. But knowing what youre walking into you should expect it.
Been there more than once. Each trip is fun. Reason I gave it three stars was because there are no staff monitoring their glow golf and due to that, on my most recent trip, there were teenagers in there causing trouble for other customers (jumping on a section that others were on, cutting them off, making them leave the place entirely)
This is an awesome place! They had tons of games, 99% of them on free play. The only reason for losing a star is that about a fifth of the games we tried to play were broken or glitching, especially the pinball machines. Tons of variety in games, and a great date night place :)
Definitely a place to go if you wanna kill a few hours for a low fee. Youll find many of your old favorites along with some rarer games. Fairly impressive collection of games and all set to free play so you can finally conquer all those quarter munching shooters and head to head racers. The experience could be made better by leveling out the volume on some of the machines and with the right application of sfx lighting/decor it could make for a cool environment (even though it already has the dark and noisy arcade environment everyone loves) Some machines can be a bit too noisy whereas others are barely audible. Several machines have worn buttons and controllers or a wonky CRT or a dim projection screen that needs service but nothing that stands in the way of hours of fun with friends for a few bucks :) ////only downside is lack of upkeep on machines which will most likely change seeing as it has only recently opened//// Happy button mashing!
Place is really fun! Was looking for something to do & noticed the sign, so decided to stop in with some friends, ending up spending the whole day there. Place is endless, clean, and the employees are really nice! Also check out the glow-in-the-dark Putt Putt!! Deff will be backkkkkkkk.
Best arcade in the Erie area, more arcade machines that you can shake a stick at. The glow golf is enjoyable. I have been going for less than a year and it has been reorganized and machines swapped around. I dock a star for the maintenance. Its tough to find a light gun shooter that actaully works for two player; a few unplayable at all. Many issues with the pinball machines. Generally a mixed bag for what works and does not. Focusing on this would be much appreciated.
I stopped into playport and was excited to try out their vr games. About 10 minutes into the game, it stopped working. The employee by the name of Corey came over to assist, so I thought everything would be fine and he would take care of everything for me. I quickly found out that I was sadly mistaken. It almost appeared as if I was a burden to his time and he seemed to have an additude with me the whole time. This is definitely not the way you should treat a customer. This completely ruined the whole experience for me and I wont be returning. I can understand when technology fails, however there is no excuse to treat a customer with such poor manners and lack of empathy.
Drove here from Ohio to spend some time with jy step son.. the website is VERY misleading. Allot of the games out of order or missing components to make the game work. Or the buttons in the machine for game play didnt work. Then on top of that the concessions closerld extremely early.. Avoid this place

2021-08-26This place was so much fun! They had so many arcade games that you could play for free! The price for mini GLOW golf was half price since we went later (close to closing)! The mini golf price included a round of golf and all the free arcade games. There are 9 holes for the mini golf. They have glow pool tables also, which was a cool and new experience. The pool tables were clean and the tokens to play were very reasonable ($1=4 tokens). We will definitely come back here when were in the area. All ages had so much fun!

2022-01-01Just okay. I understand it must be hard for staff to keep so many games in working order, but when the ones they specifically advertise, like the lazer course, arent working, and dont have any signage that they arent working, it is pretty frustrating. My boyfriend and I went for free glow pool, and he was the one who fixed their malfunctioning pool table. It could just use a little more care. But it was pretty fun- even for two adults. Didnt see any kids that looked bored or too upset by the games that were out of order.

2022-06-24This place is amazing, the amount of old arcade games they have was surprising to me since the place looked kinda small when i walked in.

2022-02-13A great place to play a lot of new games or just the games youre familiar with if you buy a package of four you get a discount. Fun for all ages. And our Friday nights they have a 21 and up offer where you can bring a six pack of beer and play games for 2 hours.

2022-02-18We took my daughter here along with 3 friends for her 9th Birthday. They offered different deals based on party size. I believe 5 people could play the free set games for like 3 hours, get a large pizza, 4 drinks for $55.55. I may be a little off on some things, but they do list pricing on their website. The place is huge with all sorts of arcade games, pool tables, golf, virtual reality, etc. They do have games that take tokens if you want to earn tickets to get a prize. You can book birthday parties through them. Since we didnt decide to go here until the day of my daughters birthday, we figured they would be booked but they actually werent. So its always worth calling to check. We were able to take in a cake, balloons, decorations, presents, etc and have our own party there even though we didnt book through them. We all had a great time, theres games for all ages & in my opinion more fun than Chuck E. Cheese! Definitely worth checking out!

2022-01-30The 2 12 year Olds we took had a good time but were ready to leave before the 3 hrs were up. We enjoyed the Glow Golf. It looked like some things were not open, unfortunately, and I did not realize that some games require you to purchase tokens. Overall it was a good time, though.

2022-03-27I visited here for the first time in a few years over the weekend and i unfortunately happened to go on a day where there were two birthday parties going on. the staff was very friendly and seemed cool. the arcade itself is really fun, and the admission price is surprisingly low, honestly. theyve also got a really good variety of games. my favorite is definitely popn music, its so much fun to play in an arcade!! the golfs awesome, and i love how they have like a jukebox thing with CDs you can pick to play music!! the only things i disliked were how crowded and loud the place was (which i guess was kinda to be expected, especially with the birthday parties), and how it seemed like there really werent many precautions being taken for covidid recommend going on a weekday, as it probably wont be super hectic and youll get a chance to play everything as much as you want!!

2022-05-29I had a lot of fun at Play Port. There were a lot of arcade games, as well as glow in the dark mini golf, glow in the dark skee ball, virtual reality simulators, & even Lazer Tag. Theres fun people of all ages. They have kids Birthday party plans & BYOB adult nights. The food was good, too. While there are a few arcades in the Erie area, I highly recommend going to Play Port Arcade to see what they have to offer.
