This hotel experience was the worst I’ve ever had. The concierge was rude and unfriendly and did not inform us of any hotel policies, amenities, etc. the rooms were absolutely repulsive-dirty bedding, broken lamps and shower, leftovers from other guests in the fridge, food and dirty utensils on the floor, peeling wallpaper, the list goes on…we had to leave immediately and request a refund because it was too disgusting to even attempt to stay! The entire hotel is falling apart and the owners and management should be ashamed.
Positive: The price saved me $70 so that is why i switched my reservation here Negative: YES,the staff could barely understand/speak english at all, they advertised breakfast and the breakfast room is full of storage supplies (ie beds, mirrors, dressers etc), the fitness room still closed. The staff left garbage dumpster in halway entire stay
They denied my sisters service dog illegally! They are only allowed by law to ask 2 questions 1. What service does the dog perform. In our case she alerts to seizures. 2. Is she a service animal. Again this is according to the Americans with disabilities act. Im a medical professional and know these laws well. I also know Hippa laws prevent them from asking anything further. I showed them the service dogs registration and ID number. That wasnt good enough. According to their policy. Well sorry but the laws trumps your policy. A service animal does not have to have any identifying vests tags ids or badges. I have never had this problem at any other hotel. Not to mention I was also in my scrubs from work and the stress caused my sister to have a seizure. Not to mention the girl at the counter said she had a service animal at home. Well if that were true..she would know the laws!!!! Ignorance at its best!!!
This is an affordable hotel in the Bensalem area that deserves recognition for being clean and convenient. It is near Parx Casino and Route 1. There is also a Wawa that is in the same parking lot and is open 24 hours a day. Regardless of the appearance of the hotel, it was safe, clean and I was able to get a comfortable night of sleep. The heater was perfect to warm up the room in the middle of the snowy night. The water pressure was perfect. The TV had HBO and many other channels. There was also a fridge and microwave. I will give this hotel 4 stars because it could use a remodel in the hallways, but other than that - the room was fine for my needs.
They have a misleading ad.No breakfast 2 days I stayed, when i checked in there was no notice of not being breakfast. They told us that they would refund us 10 dolars per head per night. We were 3 being a total of 60 buck and then they went back on their commitment.THERE WAS ALSO A RAT ON THE ROOM WE STAYED ON, A RODENT PROBLEM IS PROBABLY WHY THEY DONT PROVIDE BREAKFAST.
Positive: Location Negative: Not only was it dirty , the sheets were dirty and had a burn mark/hole . The toilet seat was not secure and the toilet paper dispense was held in place with blue tape. When give another room mattress was like sleeping on a bed of golf balls . Horrible
Positive: Wawa was next door Negative: Everything, the room was gross, my room was non smoking but when you come off the elevator to go to my room, there was an overwhelming smell of Marijuana. The comforters had cigarette holes in it. The wall paper was peeling, There were brown spots on the
Positive: Location Negative: Hotel dirty, dirty, dirty, blood on the hallway floor, room was filthy, sink leaking, I checked in at 3pm, checked out at 11pm the same night, wasnt comfortable, didnt feel safe. Just because the room was $---, hotel should still be clean, comfortable
Positive: Nothing at all!! Negative: VERY unclean! The room looked like it hadnt been washed in weeks! The bathroom door was punched threw, there was dust bunnies everywhere on ceiling, the floor had something sticky all over it and the carpet had bad wine stains. Worst experience ever!!!
I had an enjoyable stay at the Quality Inn in Bensalem. Easy to find, right off the Turnpike. Access to dining and convenience shopping. Clean rooms, quiet, great shower and surprisingly reliable wi-fi. All for less than $100/night. Much better than other similarly priced hotels Ive used in the area.
Positive: Mostly quiet (though somebody was playing loud music from their car at midnight right outside of the hotel. Convenient to where I needed to be Negative: first I have been there several times within the past few months. The counter lady (older) gave me a second floor room, by the elevator - even though I asked for third floor-also told her I booked an extra night, room card did not work next day.
It was advertised as a 3 star hotel. Only a 2 star. It is under remodeling. I also saw mice!!😯😯😠😠 Not happy about that. Everything of mine is up off the floor. I am on the 5th floor.Glad I bought my own sanitizer spray as well. Dont recommend this hotel for any extended stays unless you are looking for a good price and even then I feel is too high. Only one laundry room.. on the first floor..smhGood one night stand place....🤷🏿
This hotel looks and smells like, like a perfectly nice hotel decided to open its doors to a bunch of frat parties. The whole hotel reeks of cigarette smoke and other nasty smells. The bathroom had a lot of mold and the furniture and decor through out the hotel room was very stained and in poor condition. Good things that I can say, is the person who checked us in was very nice and greeted us with a friendly face. Also the sheets on the bed seemed clean.
December 5, 2021. The hotel was extremely filthy, walls in hallway not painted, stained, old carpet, The rooms are very dark, FILTHY and very depressing. I was trying to save some money, but was not expecting this CHOICE hotel to be SO DISGUSTING. First Room: No screen in window so someone could fall out on third floor! a lightbulb hanging in lamp on wires. The bathroom had water damage, sink was cracked. vanity had water damage. Everything just falling apart. Moved to another room Big hole in screen on window, , and huge budging in ceiling in bathroom as hotel has leaking issues. I could go on ... I told the people running it all these problems, they seemed like they could care less. Please spend a little more money and go elsewhere! I will be posting pictures.
Positive: This hotel is located in a convenient location. A nice WAWA is only in a walkable distance from where you can grab coffee and break fast & other necessities. Stay would have been very difficult with out this in such a cold weather. Negative: When I booked continental breakfast was part of the deal, stayed here three days. They told me because of the COVID, they can not provide. should have been told at the time of booking. Smoky smell in the corridors, trash everywhere. Disappointing.
I was immediately skeptical after reading a few of the recent reviews but had no choice because this is where my company booked me to stay at. Bath towel had hair on it, the toilet seat had pee on it, the desk was dirty and looked like someone had lots of fun all over it, and to top it off when I went to take a shower the water for the shower wouldnt turn on! When I was at the checkout desk waiting to checkout the guy at the front desk rudely ignored me when I tried to talk to him about my concerns! I am a choice hotel diamond rewards member and have stayed at 35 different choice hotels in the past year and this one by far was the worst Ive ever stayed at! They should be shut down!
The entire place stank of cigarette smoke from the lobby to the elevator to the inside of the non-smoking room I paid for. Theres no point in offering non-smoking rooms if the entire building is full of cigarette smoke anyway. My suitcase and clothing came home stinking of cigarettes. The floor was very clearly not vacuumed. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling. The soap bar in the bathroom was half used leftovers from the previous guest.
I want to be sincere as I can be and write an accurate review because I read reviews and take it very seriously. Depending on peoples reviews I either stay or leave. We can help each other out here. Some have given a 4-5 star and others 1 or 2 star and so it can be confusing with the reviews and not seeing the consistency. I stayed at this hotel for three nights. It is not a 5 star hotel but the room was clean and descent enough for me to stay. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and even gave me a cheaper deal! That was a plus for me. When I walked in the room it was impressive. Everything was neat, nice, and clean. I focus on the bed, toilet, and bathroom. Thats what its most important to me. It was CLEAN. I asked for a non-smoking room. My only complain is that the non-smoking room did smell like cigarettes, and the hallway had a strong odor of cigarettes. So, you could either tolerate it or not. Three things were not working; the coffeepot, the alarm clock, and the telephone. All three things had a solution. All you have to do is communicate at the front desk. Simple as that. They gave me a new coffee pot. I was pleased with that. Another minor complain is that they are advertising on their website that they offer breakfast. They do NOT offer breakfast. Solution? I went to WaWa gas station which was practically next door and bought myself breakfast, lunch, snacks, etc.
I have stayed at this particular hotel several times within the past two months, as I am waiting for my new place to be prepared. I have pretty much not complained about anything, but the recent stay was not the best. Second time I stayed here within a week, and got a room where the refrigerator has no temp stat and my food freezes (and I dont put it in the freezer part) and the door lock hard to turn. I had to ask three times to have it looked at, and then the GM, Ash, acted like it was an inconvenience to do so. In fact, I probably would of skipped it, but I also needed a plunger, which I asked for when I called him (I asked housekeeping, but they did not understand). He actually said to me, after coming up, that I wont extend your stay tomorrow. Um, I didnt book for tomorrow, and great! Mice (or a mouse in the room), and at night, people up talking loudly outside. I had to turn the fan on (heat part wasnt working) and the tv to get to sleep. And every time I go, I take out my own trash, pretty much clean the room before I leave. And also leave a tip for the cleaning crew (I highly doubt a lot of people who stay there leave anything. Not a good response from the general manager.
First time I stayed here there were old rags hanging on the curtain rods from previous guest which is highly unsanitary. There was also a roach in the bathroom that made an appearance when I went to use a towel. The second time I stayed here the carpets clearly were not vacuumed. I guess they also have a plumbing issue because dirty water came up from the sink drain & left a mess in the sink. They also accused me of damaging the room by saying there was “writing on the mirrors”, implying that I took a marker a drew on the mirrors which wasn’t true.
Utterly horrible customer service at this location. Completely inconsistent with hotel standards, and or policy. Two in particular to watch out for: the boss or guy who runs the place and his reptilian wife/girlfriend working the front desk. If you see that one, you should find somewhere else to stay. Too much to explain here sorry. Choice hotels refunded my night and compd my room at a different hotel altogether. THATS how bad my experience was with these people. No business being in this line of work. Entitled narcissistic self centered p.o.s.!
I stayed here 2 years ago and it was great, now not so much. We pull up and there is discarded pants in the parking lot and trash in the bushes. We walk in and the first thing that greets you is the smell of mold and cigarettes. Check in was quick and easy but they put us in the wrong room at first, luckily changing rooms was quick and easy as well. The elevator is terrifying and has graffiti in it. The room was filthy. Someone had used the bathroom and left us their waste and toilet paper in and on the bowl. Luckily we carry Lysol. The carpets coming up, everything was unplugged and the ac had old food on it. There were holes in the wall but the bed was clean and I never saw any pests. The shower pressure was fantastic. Some of the staff was rude but there was one shining light at the front desk, he was polite. The cleaning staff went into the elevator and blocked me with their cart from getting in. When I inquired about breakfast the desk clerk grunted at me “no”. So there is no breakfast but there’s a wawa and Dunkin’ Donuts very close by so I didn’t care too much. I wouldn’t recommend staying here but you get what you pay for. The bed wasn’t too bad and the shower was nice.
The positives are the beds are comfortable, the wifi works very well, and the housekeeping staff is courteous and helpful. Otherwise, I wouldnt recommend this hotel. Front desk staff does the bare minimum during check-in and check-out. Theres a terrible smell on most floors. And, there are several issues with building maintenance and overall condition. Not worth the $90+ they charge per night.
When we checked in, the lady at the front desk was rude. We asked for a non smoking room but the room reeked of smoke. The whole entire hotel smelled of smoke!!! I was sick every time we stayed in the room. I had to buy pills for my headache!!! I even heard someone else complain to the front desk about how their room smelled of smoke even when it was a non smoking room!!! Used coffee was still left inside the coffee machine. It was definitely not worth the money. I would have stayed some place else if I new how awful this place was!! I didn’t even eat the breakfast cause I was worried where it was stored! I do not recommend it to anyone. I travel often and next time I come back, I will not stay here. I want my money back! I understand it’s not a high end hotel, but come on!!!
Positive: Convenient to where I needed to be. Negative: Room needs to be thoroughly cleaned. A lot of dirt in the siding of the window. Also, do not appreciate housekeeping knocking constantly, I had the privacy card on, and even said through the door Im ok, then the guy tried to get in with his keycard!
Front desk staff seemed pretty disinterested, and we had to clear our throats to get their attention to even check in at the first place. We get to our room, and the whole room smells like cigarettes, bathroom being the worst. We cigarette burns here and there, and even a cigarette butt in the drawer that we found our last day. While it turns out I booked a smoking room (I dont smoke, no idea why I had selected it), thats no excuse for this. The second-to-last night, I woke up to an ant crawling on me. I also woke up with an awful cough, possibly from the AC kicking up tobacco and cigarette residue throughout our stay.Housekeeping only ever bothered coming in one day while we were out. And they didnt even do much actual work in the room. We return to the room that night to find the door open (we most certainly closed it before leaving!) and we do a quick sweep to make sure nothing was stolen. Towels and toiletries were replenished, but no linens were replaced, and no trash picked up.I was in town for a wedding, as well as showing a special someone around the area. If we ever need to stay in this area, it wont be here. Ive been a Choice Hotels loyalist for over 15 years, and this property was profoundly disappointing.
This hotel was nasty and dirty. There was graffiti on the bathroom walls. Not only was there graffiti but the walls were dirty and so was the carpet. There was a king size headboard with a twin mattress. The only thing that was good was that the sheets were clean. The hallway and the room reeked is cigarettes. It was a horrible experience.
Positive: Close to where I needed to be. Negative: Could be more responsive to the guests needs. Also why a free breakfast is still advertised on their site is wrong. I was told by others that stayed there years ago, they dont give out breakfast. Not even water bottles! Glad theres a Wawa and Metro
While several no smoking signs were posted outside the hotel, the entire hotel smelled terribly of smoke. The walls and doors of the room were filthy. Furniture and bedding had cigarette burn marks on them. Everything felt very dirty. A deep clean would very much benefit this hotel!
Positive: I like the fact that I could walk next door to Wawa as well as the ability to get on the PA Turnpike relatively easy. Negative: The lighting for the area and access ability very poor. The elevator was slow and dirty. The decor in the hallway and room wasnt attractive. The bathroom counter had a large crack as well as the slow drainage....Not valued for the cost!
Positive: Comfortable room. Negative: Too many people hanging around the outside who I dont believe are booked at that hotel. Also at 2 am I was wakened by people talking loudly.(in front of the hotel) I asked the front desk twice to please ask them to keep it down. She did nothing
Wasn’t worth the price I paid for the jacuzzi tub room.. tub was dirty I had to go and purchase cleaning supplies to clean it. They gave me a handicap accessible room which I feel is not acceptable due to the fact if someone who needs that room then couldn’t have the accessibility. Room is outdated and there was not much lighting in the room. Room was stuffy and the windows were easily opened as they did not lock. 1st floor room.
The entire hotel was covered in filth! Rooms were very DARK ugly brown paint and depressing. needs remodeling ASAP. lightbulb hanging by wires, no screens in window. Old food (shrimp and other things) left in fridge. bathroom falling apart, huge crack in vanity, water damage in ceiling and everywhere. These rooms should not be in service. Pointed everything out to staff, they could care less. This hotel needs to be shut down and brought up to CHOICE standards
We stayed at this location last night with our 2 year old and I had booked requesting non smoking room but I assumed the whole hotel was non smoking. When we arrived it was close to 11pm and we had been traveling all day. The entire hotel smelt of cigarettes and weed. I would not recommend this place to anyone traveling with children. Staff was friendly. But we couldn’t leave fast enough in the morning.
Had a room that sleeps 6. Bed was not comfortable. Pull out couch had stains and if you sit on it you feel the springs. Had a chair in the room that was scratched up and raggedy. Had food on the floor was not cleaned. Refrigerator had tape on the side of the door to hold whatever you want to put on the side door. My parents room had a phone but no cord and an ironing board with no iron. When we checked out a lady said she had a mouse in her bed. Hotel definitely needs an upgrade
Would not recommend was not the cleanest or quietest in fact police had to come and get people out that were body slamming our door. No refunds or anything because owner said we had posted something online already. It would have been very easy to add to this that they took care of it if they did we stay at a lot of different hotels this will not be one of them again.
The room was filthy, the hotel had orders, the room door was broken, never had worse toilet paper in my life, front desk staff were more interested in completing their non-work related conversations than helping customers (multiple times) - a major attitude because they were interrupted. Quality is not a descriptor I would use to describe this hotel, if it wasnt non-refundable we would have left - instead, we endured it.
I booked a nonsmoking room and was told oh well it came through as smoking and we don’t have anymore nonsmoking rooms in your room type. No I’m sorry for the inconvenience or anything. The couch had so many stains on it it was disturbing, there were splatters of I don’t know what on the ceilings and walls, holes in the wall in the bathroom, the shower was handicapped so the entire bathroom got wet when you used it. For $190 this was horrendous…should have been $75 and an apology. I had to ask for air freshener which didn’t help the cigarette smoke.
This is the worst inn I have stayed at. If I could give this place a zero I would. It smelled like cigarettes, I specifically wanted a hotel that has no smoking and it said that smoking isn’t allowed but it smelt like cigarettes. The bathroom door looked so old and gross. It looks like a bathroom out of a horror movie or something. The hotel looked musty and and dirty. DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY
I book through the website, and have generally had good experiences with Choice Hotels. This was a disappointment. I inadvertently booked a smoking room, which the staff changed after the first night with no fuss, so I appreciated that. However the room was a shambles and poorly maintained. I was initially booked on the 5th floor, which I guess is the smoking and we dont really ask what goes on up there floor. I was moved to the second floor, and the room was much nicer and better maintained. Overall, I got the impression of a hotel kind of in decline. I would not stay at this particular hotel again.
Dont waste your time or money. The whole building smells like cigarettes. Even our non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes. After 5 minutes in our room I had a hard time breathing. The smell was so strong I was coughing, choking, and throwing up. We left and went to the red roof inn down the road. Only good thing I can honestly say is that they gave us a refund.
My room wasnt very clean and in need of immediate repairs. Duct tape on the doors & walls, exposed outlets, locks on the door nearly falling off. the lobby and hallways smelled of old cigarettes and recycled air. I realize that during this aftermath of Covid many places are short staffed. However Id rather sacrifice service rather than cleanliness and safety.
Worst 3day stay everrrr! Non smoking rooms still smell like smoke. I got headaches & coughs from the stench. People smoking weed next door; smelled it through the vents. 1st stay and the room was a hot mess. Sheets were dirty, bathroom gross. They changed us to a new room; better, but still smells ugh! Money hungry people, they dont care about their customers/business! Ooh and no breakfast!!!
Overall the weekend ended up being pleasant, but the first several hours of my stay I was seriously debating checking out. The lobby and first floor smelled of various forms of smoke that were also in the rooms. I entered my room and had to run the AC for half the night before it cycled out. My room did not have a pillow or blanket for the couch, a phone or secure latches on the door. Many of the first floor screens were noticeably damaged from the outside. The desk workers on multiple shifts did not greet or even look at us any time we entered the hotel. This also added to the general feeling that it is a hotel where anything goes and safety is not a high concern. The bottom screw of both doors on the security latch was missing that combined with a phone line in the wall but not having an actual phone led to a general feeling of insecurity. The pros: the shower was hot and had good pressure, the tub was great, the bed was comfortable, the tv and cable worked well, the fridge was also a decent size and kept food cold and the location is great. It is only 20 mins to downtown Philly and within walking distance to a great restaurant. Lots of things to see in the area.
I arrived and checked in on 2-6-21. This place is supper dated, and very dirty. I don’t think it has been cleaned in weeks not only in common areas but in the room as well. The sheets looked like they were washed and replaced but that’s probably the only item that was clean in the room. Definitely do not recommend for anyone to stay there.
HORRIBLE!! If I could rate this a negative 10 I would! I took my two year old twins to sesame place close by, when we first arrived there were drug addicts hanging out in front of hotel and in the lobby. My daughter was SO SCARED. While checking in there was a very strong smell of marijuana. When walking into our room, there was a big hole in the wall with insulation comming out, food on the walls, mold in the bathroom, and my sandal literally stuck too the rug because of something sticky on it. I was very disgusted! I WOULD not recommend this hotel AT ALL!
This place smells extremely bad. My bathroom light was out my entire stay. The bathroom smelled like feces. The hotel says no smoking in rooms but the whole place smells like it. I tried to change my room and the next room smelled like smoke as well. Honestly I really don’t know how this hotel is staying open. Everything is out of date and dirty.
Smelled good while I was there last week. Im the Commercial cleaner making changes to these Choice brand hotels. Give us time and you are about to see , smell and feel big changes people. Bedbugs travel with the people who bring them. Pesticide speacialist is on the way also. We will make this place a better staying experience for you all. Ash is a nice Manager to work with for these 2 weeks we will be here doing carpets and floors. Happy 4th everyone!
The front desk staff was very pleasant but the room was filthy. There was a used tissue in the sheets of one of the beds! I am not sure if it was in the clean sheets or what because they looked and smelled clean but it was pretty gross. There was tooth paste spit on the faucet in the bathroom, pubic hard inside the toilet rim, and crumbs on the desk. There was also some kind of bug on the ceiling. I am not easily grossed out but this place was kind of nasty and too expensive for that. Had it been $50 p/night i would have left an OK review saying you get what you pay for but it was $84. I will never stay here again and that says a lot coming from me!
We stayed in room 412. It was absolutely disgusting. Stains on the blankets (looked like blood), walls scraped up, leather on couch pealing, headboard hanging off wall, furniture is all scratched and dinged up, so many stains on the walls that I don’t even know where to begin. Trash left on the ground from the previous people. This hotel is just wretched and not worth the price. It should be $50 a night not $130. Whoever owns this hotel should lose their license cause this is just disgraceful. Save your money and go somewhere else. Now to make sure I don’t take any bed bugs home fml
Oh my god I can not even put into words how ! HORRIBLE ! This hotel IS !!!! ROACHES in my shower and by my tv, smells like someone left a lit a cigarette in my a/c and that’s the nicest way I can say it. Please do not come here if you are looking for a clean, and good QUALITY hotel. Save your money !!!
After traveling all day and needing a rest we stopped at the Quality Inn. As I was getting into bed, we found a roach on the wall that made its way onto my headboard. In addition to the roach, our room, which was smoke free, reeked of stale cigarette smoke and had several cigarette burns. In the morning the hallway smelled of marijuana; the smell was so strong we could smell it in our room. Seeing how the hotel was fully booked and the room unfortunately non-refundable, we stayed but needless to say, not much sleep was had and lights were left on to deter any other roaches from showing themselves. Hotel staff were nice, however the overall cleanliness of the hotel was severely lacking given the roach.
Positive: Closeness to my venue. Was a a walk away Negative: It stank like cigarettes. There was loose tobacco and ketchup packets left on the shelf over the closet area. Additionally it was advertised that there was breakfast but there was not. The area was closed down. This is false advertising.
We had stains on our bed linens which resembled feces. We found housekeeping and requested new linen, when we told her what room we were in she said sorry not my floor and walked away. we had to go to front desk they brought us another set but didnt take the dirty linen. The bathroom was not cleaned well, hair everywhere. Very dirty hotel
This hotel is definitely below standard. The entrance way has a horrible stench. There are needles and other unwelcoming things outside the building Theres a counter top leaning on the front of the building. Not all of the rooms are up to date. The mini fridge was stabilized by newspaper. There was a issues with just about every room booked with my party. The issues ranged from crooked beds, non working TVs, non programmable A/Cs, constant running toilets, horrible smells in the hallways and rooms , and generally unclean. Had I known the rooms and area were going to be like this, I would not have subjected my group to this level of accommodation. On the contrary, the rate was great. 🤷🏾♀️
They are rude, unaccommodating, and have zero customer service skills. The girl who works at the desk during the day double charged me even though I told her that I already paid, and was extremely unprofessional about the whole thing. She was also on her cell phone while this was all going on. The room was unclean and unkept as were the hallways and elevator. I do not recommend staying here, nor would I ever spend the night, or day for that matter here again .
I cant say yoyll find the best view, or the friendliest people in this hotel. Or the cleanest individuals either. Staff is friendly, courteous and prompt with any needs, wants, or concerns you adress with them. dont be surprised if you get a live episode of Jerry Springer on folding before your eyes in the parking lot. I will stay again because of convenience and proximity to the casino.
Do not stay here. The hotel was disgusting, filthy and uninhabitable. Holes in the ceiling, walls. Bathroom was horrible with hair and dirt. Stayed in a nonsmoking room, but every time the air conditioning turned on, cigarette smoke would bellow in. I would never go back and I wish I didn’t experience the hotel in the first place.
BEDBUGS!!! Stayed here for one night and after I got home I began itching and realized I had welts from bed bug bites on my forehead/temple, my hand and my back. I left a few messages for the manager Ash and he didn’t call me back until my last message was “I’m reporting it to Licensing & Inspections and local TV stations. 2 minutes later Manager Ash called back, in short he summarized that I can’t prove I got them there and that I should have reported it while I was there. I shared I didn’t welt up until I got home he responded back w an uneducated response ...that the bites appear immediately. He claimed they checked the room and nothing was found. I asked what room number did I stay in that they checked he kept repeating I know the number and I asked again what room number but he couldn’t give it to me. I reported this to License & Inspection and will make sure I follow through. Manager Ash’s behavior made it very clear to me that he knows they have a bed bug issue. I expect full reimbursement and if I brought these bugs home be prepared to cover the cost. SHAME on you Ash you give Quality Inn a bad reputation. See pictures here.
Three star review - why? Honestly this is a 1 1/2 star hotel at best, but the PRICE was fantastic. I hate reviews when they slam a place but got it dirt cheap. So, I’ll be as fair as possible.Check-in: Super friendly woman (younger) at the front desk. Very welcoming, smiling, and even thank me for my military service.Lobby: during Covid, there is generally nothing any more at any hotels (no coffee, no breakfast for the morning, etc). Parking was ample with a large lot, appears to be in a clean and safe area, no rif-raf hanging outside. Nice and lite up.Room: Very dated and ensure you ask for a non smoking room. I believe this is my fault and I did not click on the right one on the app. This should be asked when checking in. Not bad, but I could smell a faint smoke smell but I dealt with it. Room was clean and HVAC/TV all worked with no issues. Mini fridge and microwave, no concerns. Bedding was clean and bed was sort of comfortable.Bathroom: This needs a super deep cleaning and “New Caulk.” That’s my pet peeve at hotels as caulk is cheap at hardware store. Take a puffy knife and scrap all that old caulk out every year. Put new caulk at $4.00 bucks a tube and make it look white and clean. It gets mild on it - there is nothing you can do and this happens in homes. Do not caulk over mild caulk as it will bleed through and be black again. Just scrap it out; scrub the tub n shower; and recaulk it with white. It will look clean and inviting.Overall - I paid $58 bucks with taxes for a last minute check in got a work trip (but I have to pay out of pocket - factored into my salary - I save money it benefits me). For the money, I’d stay here my once a week when I come into Philly all the time after this Covid ends. Again - be REAL and understand you get what you pay for. Me - I’d rather be at a 1-2 star hotel as long as I get sleep and save the money for something nice. I’m not here on vacation - that’s what Hilton are for at $200 bucks a night.Just have your housekeeping “deep clean” several rooms a day and inspect them. Don’t rely on the ten mins and out...ensure they are doing some deep deep cleaning and this hotel will remain a useable hotel.
This hotel was very filthy. Filthy walls, dirty bathroom, dirty sheets, dirty carpets, dirty pillows. Stains was on everything. The window in room 106 does not lock! Anyone can break in if they want. It’s definitely a security breach. The room is not worth $80 a night at all.
I was extremely unpleasantly surprised by the friendliness and warmth of all the staff, both at the front desk, on the phone, and housekeeping! I would definitely recommend it to anyone I know and did get several car, business cards to give to whomever asks about a hotel in the area! I also was so very pleased with the cleanliness of your room and they actually changed my sheets on my bed every night that I was there which was this past Monday through this morning August 11th! They were outstanding and I cannot say enough about this Quality Inn! I highly highly recommend staying there whether its just one night or along stay over!
Toilet small and clogged. Place smelled like weed. Police presence strong. Woke up to ppl throwing things at someone hotel room. Cleints loud. Seems like party hotel. Or escorts. But staff was great n room was clean enough sheets n towels fresh no bugs. Microwave didnt work tho. Price ok during week overpriced on weekend. Wouldnt choose differnt place
So far Ive only been here a couple nights. The staff is nice, not that Ive really had too much conversation with them yet. The room was not filthy but not really clean either. The cleaning could be done better for sure. I found splashes of something on one of the lamps in my room and around the bathroom light switch its grimy. The ceiling has what looks like mold on it over the really run down ac unit. And there are chips of paint missing in some spots on the walls. The hairdryer in the bathroom is kinda clogged with dust and lint on the protective screen so it really had no power to really dry my very thick long hair. I have the room for a total of a week so I will include a more in depth review once my stay is over.
If I had negative stars, I would have given them. They are not even worth my 1star ⭐. Terrible place for family and all the rooms smells like cigarette. We literally sprayed all through the night stay. Dont let the cheap price fool you into getting here. I will be a big mistake.
Dirty bathroom , dirty sheets .. got the whirl pool .. was full of spiders and rust.. it was a smoking room .. bad smell the sofa bed had peoples stuff inside which means they didn’t even take the time to change the sheets or anything like that it was falling apart it was just a horrible experience never again
Positive: Location Negative: Place needs serious cleaning and even though on the site it says free breakfast they dont (and even before covid others told me they dont) sketchy people hanging around, people sleeping in their car every night inexperienced front desk clerk
Absolutely horrible with friendly ineffective staff. Smell of stale smoke from the time you enter lobby. Years of dirt along edges of the walls and floors from only vacuuming traffic areas. Entered smoke filled room to find used wet towels and used soap in bathroom. Toilet not bolted down. Mold in shower. Tv wouldnt work. Room telephone had no cord so was inoperable. Internet cycled two minutes on two off. All tables and dressers has multiple cigarette burns like a 1940s black and white ganster movie. Blood smear on the wall where it appears I possibly drunk person fell and hit their head or worse. The air conditioner rattled the room, two which the night attendant said yes I hear it, but I am just a clerk. No breakfast of pool amenities as advertised the breakfast room was full of stained used mattresses. Worst ever. This is a crack hotel that sometimes ensnare the occasional traveler. Couldnt even get my point back and I am a Way above a Diamond member. ...stay away
I stay in Quality Inn hotels almost 100% of the time when I travel. This is the last time I will stay at Bensalem. The amount of cigarette smoke in my room and throughout the hotel was overwhelming. Also, the lobby restroom hadnt been cleaned in a very long time and the smell of sewage was overpowering.
It was a pleasant stay.I don’t know what else to say but I was happy with the room and the food was good. So all in all the trip and stay was great. The only thing that I didn’t like was the placement of the ice machine with was on the first floor and not on every floor including my room that was on the third floor. It would have been better to access in my point of view.
Make a reservation online clearly say 6 plus 1 additional whith a crib so I ask for a crib . I get an offer of 1 night free whit a stay from choice when get there they cancel my reservation and make another because max was 6 i lose my free night because of that . They dont have the crib and i have to improvised a bed whit the chair and ottoman for my kid. Ask for no smoker and the room smell like somebody was smoking just before i enter , smoke burns in sheets, broked door and the top of shower paint peeled.
Tho my location was Off as I pulled out of the Wawa parking lot with a Frozen Cappuccino & fresh pack of cigarettes my stalker app 😏 (Google Maps) is beckoning a review of this hotel..while Im sure its quite lovely, I cannot justify 5 stars to a location I have not been. Be safe out there, People!
We normally stay at another hotel when we are up visiting this area, but due to a last minute trip our normal hotel was booked.I am sort of mixed on this hotel. The staff here all very pleasant which is a plus. The hotel itself is a bit rundown but generally clean. Our room overall was clean with the exception of the ice bucket and we noticed that the sheets were stained. You would think that in a hospitality setting, you would dispose of sheets that cannot come visually clean. The shower had good water pressure and the hot water was quick to arrive. We tried the breakfast the first morning and did not go back. They had one waffle maker which makes for a problem when everything else is limited. They had sausage and omelets but neither looked very appealing. there were some small, and I mean small pastries as well. I doubt we will be returning here. Should our circumstances repeat we will try to find somewhere else.It wasnt a dump by any means but I just cant see giving it more then 3 stars.
We got the king suite. The whirpool tub was situated in the corner and equipped with color changing led lights which added a fun ambiance. Upon entering the room I immediately noticed that it smelled great and was very clean. The bathroom was equipped with a walk in shower with a handheld spray nozzle as well as a standard shower head. This room was perfect for the romantic getaway we wanted. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. There arent many pictures of this suite on the website so I wasnt sure what to expect. The room far exceeded my expectations. Would definitely stay here again.
The hotel itself is fine. Clean and decent. Walking distance to a diner, WaWa and right next to the main parkway which are all very convenient. The breakfast was ok, they had a good variety. The front desk staff were very accommodating–I booked a room not realizing it was in a Smoking section, and they quickly changed my room the next morning with no hesitation. The room was clean, bathroom had minor mold around tub but nothing to be weary about.
The room we were originally booked into smelled of smoke (it was a non-smoking room) and the bathroom was not well cleaned and the tub was in rough shape. When alerted to the issues the hotel staff immediately moved us to another room which was larger and in much better condition. We appreciated their quick response to our concerns, and we found the bed to be extremely comfortable and we were happy with our stay.
This hotel was incredible. Im sorry to say that there are most definitely some quality control differences between Quality Inns. This one was far better than any of the others by a mile. The interior was stylish, the entry way was inviting, and the rooms were much nicer than any other Quality Inn Id stayed at. There was a great view from the room and it was conveniently located to everything. Linens were clean and staff was excellent. Has an actual conversation with the front desk clerk rather than just making small talk like the check-in at most places.
Pleasant and comfortable good breakfast needs a little work on the interior but other than that it was a decent hotel at a good rate. I was really surprised how the beds were. Soft bed and pillows not like any other quality inn I’ve stayed at. The breakfast had good choices and the staff was friendly and helpful. Needs automatic doors. Also needs some touch ups
Hotel staff was great and accommodating. The hotel rooms were clean well cared for. The bathroom can use a few mods to the shower. The heat/cool unit needs to function via the settings and not based on motion detection. The breakfast needs to be upgraded, use a hot plate and omit the microwaved foods. Besides the few items listed this hotel stay was great, we enjoyed it and would stay here again without hesitation.
The workers were very nice. Our problem was with the room cleaning. There was someones underwear hanging in the shower. We found old room keys on the shelf which hadnt been cleaned. One pillow was covered in hair from a previous guest. Bathroom mirror had fingerprints and toothpaste splatter, along with the floor being sticky. We checked in after midnight so we cant write it off as they rushed to get our room ready. If cleanliness is a factor on how comfortable you are when staying at a hotel I would suggest looking for a different hotel.
Check in was ok, but they didnt mention the wifi or breakfast information or how to get to room. Fine, we go to the elevator and through the hall. Halls, carpets, hard flooring are all dirty, the lack of upkeep is a shame. The painting done as an improvement is sloppy and our teenagers could have done better. So we get to the room exhausted. The entrance floorway is sticky. The carpet trim on the wall is falling off. The phone is missing parts, the outlet is half exposed. The bottom drawer in the dresser is falling apart. The bathroom tiles are chipped on the edges, the painting/trim in the bathroom is dirty/rusty/moldy. We tried sleeping, the bed was uncomfortable. There is no temperature control in the room. You can pick hot or cold, high or low, adding to the overall unsatisfactory condition of the hotel. In the morning, my husband only had a few minutes between the start of the breakfast service and having to report back for duty and the coffee was horrendous. I briefly returned to the room, got changed and promptly went to check out. They didnt even ask how the stay was. I have stayed at multiple locations throughout the East Coast and by far, this and the one diagonally across Street Road have been the worst ever.
I realize that I am staying in a budget hotel and need to have modest expectations, however, my recent trip to the Quality Inn & Suites in Bensalem, PA was terrible. The first room I checked in had not been cleaned - the bed sheets were from the previous occupants and there were dirty towels in the bathroom. The manager switched our room, however the following evening, the bathroom sink starting to leak around midnight, flooding the floor and carpet area in by the bed. Again, we had to switch rooms. The entire hotel reeked of cigarette smoke (and I witnessed a guest smoking in the lobby area). Moreover, some had vomited in the stairwell, and it remained there for our two-day stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and I feel bad leaving such a negative review, but want to save someone else $300 (which is what I paid for my two nights there).
In my few day stay here. I was in one room by myself and I heard something and all of a sudden a mouse goes running by and then my back starts itching and I feel a welt appear. I asked to change rooms cuz of mouse. Then I was sleeping and woke up to bed bug crawling on me. Do not stay here
I am usually very happy with my hotel stays with Choice Hotels. However, this was the worst one Ive EVER stayed at! The room smelled really musty. The bathroom was ridiculous. It was very very obvious it had not been cleaned properly in some time. The plaster has come off the wall and was scattered on the floor. The corners of the vanity were dirty. The shower curtain had hair stuck IN it! As we left to get supper, we noticed the carpet in the hallway was sopping wet on one side. We figured the management would want to know about it. We told the girl who was at the desk, but I dont know that they ever got the message. She was too busy looking at her manicure and texting on her phone. The picture of the hotel was obviously taken in better days because what we saw online was DEFINITELY NOT what we got!
This is absolutely the worst motel I’ve ever stayed in. Filthy, the bathroom counter is literally falling apart, it smells like smoke everywhere. There are literally no amenities. It’s a nasty little place and I would rather sleep outside under a bridge than stay here again.
This was my first time staying at a Quality Hotel; the images and description reflected on the website is extremely deceiving. While the rate was very reasonable, if I had known of the following that Id experience, I would not have compromised any of these over price. First walking into lobby, it smelled heavily of smoke, was very damp and had an odor. This carried all the way through to the elevator and the floor I stayed on. The room had a very musty and damp smell as well and smelled as if someone previously had been smoking. The comforter, sheets and pillows felt very damp as well. The carpet felt damp as well. We had housekeeping change the sheets after our 1st of 2 nights there. The replacement sheets had a hole and stain in it and noticed the comforter had a hole as well. Using the fan/air conditioner did not help because the room was already musty and mold-like to begin with. We wanted to open a window but the screen was torn. Even the molding around the door definitely needed a paint job as there was discoloration, etc. Overall appearance of the lobby and hallways was run down, dark, smelled and in need of major renovations. This experience by far was the worst I have ever done and would never suggest this to family or friends. I was so unsatisfied to the point where I want to call corporate and ask for a refund. I hope other Quality Hotel locations are not like this and perhaps I got the short end of the stick but this was a miserable experience.
The room smelled horrible. We had a problem when we checked in but was fixed pretty quickly. I called the front desk 3 times nobody answer so I sent my son to ask for pillows because there was 5 of us in a room. They told me they had no more pillows. Our bathroom toilet leak. There was hair in the bath tub when we first arrived. The bathroom sink kept leaking. There was no kitchen in the room. The sheets had cigarette burns even though I asked for a non smoking room. The good thing it was close to sesame park. The breakfast had a waffle maker problem the best thing. One staff who worked on Saturday was very nice.
I travel there with my wife and 6 year old boy in Memorial Day weekend, to visit the are attractions, Sesame Place, poolside attractions, Legoland Discovery Center. Carpets need to go! Even non-smoking rooms and all the hallways from the 2nd floor to the 5 (smoking rooms). Thats is why you most hotels are going tobacco free, because the air vents and elevator shafts push and pull one vent to another and along hallways and corridors. I smoke in occasions, however, hate the smell of gunk of tar and nicotine inside the house. Make a cheap all weather gazebo outside, or smoke outside in the parking lot. The rooms and bathrooms, desperately in need of a good scrub. To much old crusty lime between joints and rims of bathtubs, toilets, sinks... The cleaning personnel are not cleaning up to the Quality Inn minimum standard. This hotel is in a very touristical area year round close to Amusement Parks and big Ecological and Recreational attractions. For the good name if the firm, do something about this place. The only 2 excellent and clean employees from that hotel are the two blessed ladies that take care of the breakfast area and some of the rooms and laundry in the first floor and so! Something must be done with the hotel management/ owner of that franchise!
The hotel looked very nice. Although we were in a non-smoking wing, cannot say for sure if it was the entire floor, but when we checked in during the late afternoon / early evening, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the hall. There was no smell in the room. The room bath and sink appeared to be older, as the stoppers were not attached to the drain and there was a little rust around the drain in the bath. The shower head was very nice, providing a strong pressure and relaxing shower settings. The breakfast had a nice selection but the eggs were cold and the sausage did not have a great taste. I believe this is partly because there were no warming trays. I believe that I heard the attendant state that she had to microwave the hot items. All in all, we had a very nice comfortable rest and would consider staying here in the future.
I dont know what is wrong with these women cleaning these rooms. Is everyone allergic to bleach. The mold should never build up in a bathroom. Especially in a handicap bathroom I had the handicap room. Women need to spend a little more time in those rooms. Vacuuming and dusting and removing that mold out of the bathroom.
Disappointed from the moment I checked in. Lobby has stale smoky smellLow lighting Room way too small ... had to walk sideways to move around, honest!Dirty carpet A/c and heat not able to adjust comfortably- too hot or too coldBathroom moldy wood workWater pressure low. Also, my account was charged twice!
The staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself is pretty dirty. There was a ring in the sink that was cleanable when we tried. Crumbs were under our mattresses (we noticed when we were checking for bed bugs). There was a splatter of a dark red substance that looked suspiciously like blood on the wall next to the bed and the ice machine on the second floor didnt work. :/
Stayed here on 2 separate occasions. They accommodated my request for a 1st floor room both times. There are smoking and non smoking rooms here so some of the non smoking rooms have a slight bleed over of smoke smell. Beds are comfortable, staff is friendly and rooms are clean. Will definitely stay here again.
This hotel provided good value for the money. My room was clean but worn looking. The hutch the TV in the sitting room was on was breaking down at the edges. The TVs worked well, as did the shower. We didnt use many of the amenities except for the buffet breakfast, which was similar to others we have used and was adequate but not exceptional. It needs basic maintenance and a serious updating.
It just was not a good experience! I booked and paid for a king size room, only to find out once I went up to the room, it was not a king size room. When I went back down to the front desk, I was told that I did not in fact book the room I did. I showed my conformation email stating which room I had booked and was then told that my reservation had been changed by someone other than myself. I asked about the difference in price and was told it was the same price. Poppycock!
Overall, I enjoyed my last couple stays at this location. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms are clean and the wireless internet is fast. There is also HBO and clear and direct TV stations. The hotel is next to a WAWA which offers 24 hour gas and made to order sandwiches. Most of all, the hotel staff is nice and ready to answer any questions. It is near Highway 1 and about 5 minutes to I-95 without traffic. Parx Casino is 3 minutes away and downtown Philly is less than 30 minutes without traffic.
I’ve stayed here many times unfortunately only when the Hampton is full. This stay was the dirtiest yet. The windows were filthy and broken the heat filters were plugged making the heat smell. Bathroom was dirty and half the things didn’t work properly. They appear to be remodeling but I haven’t seen it.
I have not stayed there but booked a room today. After reading all the reviews. Im finding more people complaining about the smoke. We as smokers we are grateful hotels still have smoking rooms. Smoke will linger when room doors are open. If it bothers people that much. They should find a non smoking hotel. Looking forward to our stay soon
When you first walk into the hotel it smells of cigarette smoke. The outside was dirty, even though it was clear there were repairs going on throughout the hotel debris was left for guests to see. Our first room was completely unclean. First off, the air was not turned on, only the fan was on which made the room stuffy and give off a slight odor. There was a screw on the floor left from a worker working on the air unit, there was a dirty towel on the desk. The bedspread was stained, there were scuffs and damage to all the furniture, the paint/wallpaper was pealing off the walls, the bathroom looked unclean and unfinished, the bathtub floor was pealing up. There was a tissue stuck in the peep hole of the room door. I asked to change rooms which the staff accommodated, and although the second room was cleaner, the appearance was still pretty much the same for the entire room, bathroom, furniture and walls. Not to mention outside the window was a swarm of bugs so there was clearly no external checks of the building. The only good thing was the staff but the hotel was a dump.
This is a nice hotel and a good value! It is convenient to many things and good food options all around. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The only complaint I had was that the AC unit was attached to some thing on the wall that turned it off periodically. If it was the AC or heat running I could understand but I had the fan on which should be allowed to run continuously. I get hot at night and every time it turned off it woke me up. I wont rate the hotel less for that because the fan running is a personal preference and I dont think all the rooms have this feature. I would definitely recommend this hotel. One other thing that is an FYI and nothing the hotel has control over. If youre on the turnpike and your GPS tells you to get off on exit 352 and you dont have the EZ pass thing you must get off at exit 351.
Me and my girlfriend stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It was pretty pleasant. Room was clean, good space, and the bathroom was decent. The only problem we had is that the phone in our room did not work. We told the lady at the front desk, and she sent someone up right away to switch out the phones. Other then that, everything was fine.
We normally stay at another hotel when we are up visiting this area, but due to a last minute trip our normal hotel was booked.I am sort of mixed on this hotel. The staff here all very pleasant which is a plus. The hotel itself is a bit rundown but generally clean. Should our circumstances repeat we will try to find somewhere else.It wasnt a dump by any means but I just cant see giving it more then 3 stars.
Room served its purpose, however, there were several issues. Our air conditioning kept going off during the night, we didnt have a alarm clock in our room & the elevator was broke down. The hotel did call to inform us before our stay about the elevator in case we wanted to cancel. Seems like this hotel is in need, and possibly in the process of renovating. Staff was friendly.
This was a non smoking hotel. The entrance and lobby had a distinct tobacco stench. The hallway was heavily deodorized. The room was fine. The décor of the room was Spartan. It had one bed, no wall hangings, no mirror except in the bathroom. The room provided clean, basic housing. The breakfast room was spacious and the food selection and presentation was very good.
While the room had clearly had a recent cosmetic update, the building itself had not. The walls were paper thin, and I learned a great deal about my neighbors and people coming a going in the lobby (my room was above the entryway). However, the hotel is next door to a nice diner that serves great food at good prices, so I always had a good meal!
The Quality Inn in Bensalem, PA is a reasonably priced hotel with decent accommodations. They offer a free hot breakfast in a very nice breakfast area with extremely nice table and chairs. The rooms were a little on the small side and the furniture in the rooms was old. However, the rooms were very clean. The hotel staff was very, very nice. The price of the hotel was much less expensive than others in the area. This hotel is perfect for an overnight especially if youre just going to the casino and just need a place to sleep. The hotel is centrally located is less than a mile away from Parx Casino. For those of you who like Wawa, there is one adjacent to the hotel.
Room was not very clean. Popcorn under the chair; hair in the bathrub. Beds were okay. Breakfast was average or above average for free breakfast. Lights didnt work; one was bent and rocking. So only bedside lamp could we get to work. Dirt on the shelf with the microwave (which we didnt use).Check-in had problems getting key to work, but hotelier was satisfactory in getting new keys and bringing them up to the 4th floor for us. Check-out was swift. Staff pleasant.Did not use wifi.
Everything about the hotel was excellent. The general manager, Mr. Ash Shroff was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. He made a big effort to acommodate me in a nerve-racking situation - I had lost power in my house, and all the hotels in my area were sold out, or without power. The staff were pleasant and courteous, the room was immaculate, there was internet access, the parking was convenient, and the breakfast was good.I would definitely return to this hotel.
One of the worst hotels I have stayed in. The moment we walked in, the place reeked of cigarette smoke. I am allergic so that made it even worse. The hallway to our room smelled like mold, as did our room. The room itself was pretty clean but the furniture was in disrepair, and the table the tv sat on was broken in several places. There were multiple big scuffs on the walls. Breakfast in the morning was ok, but they didn’t keep it well stocked as people took food, and we had to keep asking for things to be brought out. It was such a gross place we cancelled our second night and moved down the street to the Radisson (SO much better).
The room upon entering smelled of booze and cigarettes. I specifically requested a non-smoking room. I attempted to air our room by opening window and runnin a/c to later find the smell may be inside a/c filter. The tub was a bit rusted out. Other than those things listed above everything else was good. There was several cable channels and updated tv and furniture. The wall mirror was great.
What a terrible experience. I travel a lot for my position and this was a sad excuse for the Quality Inn chain. The entire hotel is in shambles, torn up carpet, garbage in the stairwells, and the ever present smell of heavy smoke. The room was actually worse than the hotel at large. Upon entering the room I could not locate a light switch (it was a ways into the room and hidden behind a dry cleaning bag). Once I got the lights on I wished I hadnt, there were small pieces of trash on the ground indicating the house-keeping staff didnt even vacuum. The TV stand was missing pieces and falling apart, there was actually money on a shelf presumably from previous guests ($1.68 in change), the air conditioning unit stunk awfully bad and that too was broken. The sink would not drain and could not be adjusted as the drain plunger was all the way down and couldnt be lifted. Finally, the bathroom was woefully under attended, the towels were haphazardly placed on the racks, the toilet paper was almost gone and there was no replacement, when the mirror was steamed up you could see the cleaner wasnt even wiped off, and finally the actual shower had no pressure and the shower head was in disrepair. Will be travelling to the Bensalem area many more times but will never stay in this location again. Just awful.
If you are looking for a good stay at a decent price, go across the street to the sleep inn! Although, the staff was friendly enough, the room was awful. No water pressure nor consistent temp while showering. Dirty ash trays left in the room, and Wi-Fi was terrible. I am a petite woman, yet, when laying in the bed, I felt like I sunk through the entire mattress. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Overall wouldNot recommend this hotel to anyone. The lack of cleanness was the talk of the few guests that stayed there daily during breakfast. Never more then 5 cars in parking lot . One bright spot was one female at the front desk but nothing she could do could make up for the conditions at this hotel even the so called renovated rooms they let us look at before we chose a room. Looked at 5 rooms total picked the least dirty but not clean by any means. Only room with king and queen bed. Make sure things are not broke before unpack and check stains on toilets and tubs and even if pictures r hanging on wall not on ground and if beds ride when u check in

2022-03-31Typically what one would expect from a hotel like this one. I didn’t experience any bed bugs or any critters. Just holes on the bathroom door. Room smelled good. I just want to point out that the staff is amazing. Assok & all the maintenance crew went above & beyond to assist me with my luggage when there had been no carts available. I was receiving 5 star service.

2022-04-17Im not really picky about hotels and sometimes its hard to find good rates for a family of five. We stay at quality branded motels frequently and expect them to be older and not fancy but this place was in disrepair, the smell of smoke is overwhelming and the a/c units in our room did not work very well. We checked out after one night since there was also no breakfast (which is advertised as included). I budget based on having breakfast taken care of even if its just grab and go but was told that the breakfast room was being renovated. Very bad experience all around.

2022-01-02I planned this trip in the hopes of getting some much-needed R&R, and it was a nightmare. The moment we walked into the elevator, the smell of smoke hit us. We were on the 5th floor. I ordered a non-smoking room but received a smoking room. The air quality was poor and it was very hard to breathe. The only way it was tolerable was by leaving the window open the entire stay, which made the room cold. The space was dusty which triggered our allergies. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on in the adjacent rooms. On our first night, the couple next to us was having a huge fight, furniture was being shoved around and the woman was yelling profanities and crying. I was about to call the front desk but soon realized my room phone was not working. Customer service was mediocre at best. Would not recommend this to anyone.

2022-06-27Nobody spoke English. All the hand sanitizer were always empty. Not enough vending machines. Mattress stored in hallway. The garbage outside was never picked up. This place was a dump. And you can tell nobody cared. I was put on the 5th floor and the room smelled like smoke and I am a non smoker. Shower head was leaking. This place was a complete disaster. Never stay at this place .

2022-07-02For the price, I was expecting it to be dated with a little wear and tear but it was much worse. My biggest issue is the smell of smoke as soon as you enter the facility. Everywhere smells like smoke especially my Non Smoking Room. However, there were ants crawling all over the refrigerator and microwave. Some ants even made it to the bed! When I brought it up with the front desk lady she pretended not to hear me but luckily the Manager was responsive to our concern and got the room refunded. Im thankful for that. Ultimately, this doesnt feel up to basic cleaning standards and I dont recommend it.

2022-04-10They did not inform us that was not going to be a breakfast in the morning. Both vending machines were not working to get water and my husband had to go to the 4 floor to get ice because the ice machine was not working on are floor. The room was nice clean other then that the stay was okay. Thank God there was. Wawa near by so I could get a bottle of water..

2022-06-03The hotel does have issues but not to the extent some have reviewed. Yes it is a bit dated and all the smoking rooms are on the 5th floor. I cannot smell smoke since covid and i do not smoke. They do not air condition all the floors except the individual rooms. I told the staff about no paper towels in the mens room! He said they dont provide them! You need to provide a way for people to dry their hands after they use the restroom thats just basic public safety! For the price its not too bad and i would rate them good!

2022-06-06I travel extensively and have stayed in every major hotel chain af one time or another. Thus is the worst hotel Ive ever stayed at. The hotel smelled of smoke. The room was filthy. The dressers in the room looked like they came from a rummage sale. They were all dinged up and missing half the drawer knobs. The knobs on the air conditioner were missing so you couldnt regulate the temperature. The lighting in the living room was very poor. The so called continental breakfast was a joke. The only offered cereal, fruit, Luke warm coffee, stale mini muffins, some sort of packaged Danish and toast. I recommend that you stay anywhere but here.

2022-04-02I was told they offer a hot breakfast. Upon arrival I went to look at the breakfast area and it was filled with used mattresses and broken tables. I also reserved 7 NON-SMOKING rooms. The smoke smell was so bad our eyes were burning. There were cigarette hole burns in the comforter. When I asked the front desk about it I was told the 5th floor is a smoking floor and the smoke travels down. After all this I thought I better check the mattresses. One slight lifting of the corner and there was human hair. See my pics. We left, even though it was a hardship and my high schoolers were exhausted. They were competing in a 2-day robotics tournament starting the next morning. If youre thinking its probably not that bad, think again. When I tried to call their customer service number last night I was on hold for an hour and a half (and no one answered). Called back later after finding a replacement hotel and when I told rep no one answers she stayed in the line with me -- and found out for herself they never answered.

2022-06-05We stayed last weekend (Memorials day) and it was not a good stay. Mice droppings on top of the closet area. What appears to be mold on the shower knob, the ceiling in the bathroom. Stains & cracks throughout. The bed wasnt soft. I needed to use the restroom during the check in process, I had to get a key, no soap or paper towels. Bathroom floor looked nice and shiney, but I was afraid that I would break my neck exiting the tub. We couldnt put anything in the mini fridge freezer because it was full of ice and no space at all.
