I would not book with this hotel again. There was an altercation in the parking lot (fireworks being set off, loud music, etc) and an employee went out to address it and there was a point when I thought I would need to call law enforcement. I could also hear everything.
We drove 30 hours straight from Texas, and when we finally arrived here, we were warmly greeted at the front desk! The customer service was better than many of the other stays weโve had! The room was clean and comfortable! The bed and linens were clean, a/c worked well and overall I would stay here again when Iโm in the area!
The price range and location of the hotel are perfect. Just about 20 minutes away from the place I was visiting with friends. The housecleaning staff did a great job of making sure my room was in the best condition possible, and the front desk were very friendly. Definitely recommend staying here if you want a relatively cheap, but good quality hotel.
Go elsewhere. We can get our money back from our credit card but you canโt get back the night you spend in this trap. We were overcharged hundreds of dollars and had to report this company to our credit card to get our money back. The company has very questionable practices. The staff is extremely rude. We were told by two employees and the manager that our experiences at this hotel were โnot their problemโ. We were given incorrect information about the room, and our accommodations, having to find another place for the cat we were traveling with after being told over the phone pets are acceptable. The rooms we were given smell like a combination of urine and smoke, but since this company maxed out our credit card with fraudulent charges, we were stuck in this disgusting place. Rob is the employee who processed our card swiping it three times, charging us three times. The manager Montana tried to tell us she was helping by informing us that she doesnโt even know whatโs happening. Look elsewhere for accommodations.
Very friendly staff. Clean rooms awesome sleeping king size bed was amazing. quiet and accessible to everything around. Good food shopping and fair pricing. We ended up staying two nights instead of one. Coffee bar always open and breakfast bar in the mornings. Couldnt beat the price. Excellent hotel.
Booked this hotel for my not too tech savvy uncle, his wife, and their two kids. As weโve just recently moved to the area, they were coming to visit. They stayed two nights, the second day there was no water. I was told there was a neighborhood wide main break. Totally understandable and unavoidable, got it, no problem. The water was fixed later that day, but then it was dirty and cloudy, so they could not drink it, nor shower for a whole other day. When my uncle complained to management the morning of 8/28/2021, he was met with short answers and a poor attitude with no offer of compensation or apology in sight for his family not being able to shower or drink any water. As someone very familiar with the hospitality industry and workplace, this is unacceptable behavior and poor judgement. Upon check out around 7am 8/29/2021 he was told by a manager on duty, they knew what manager gave the bad attitude and were known for it. Not very quality of them. They were also told that manager had no power to authorize compensation for their night stay without water. When I called to speak with someone later that same day, I was connected to the director of sales who told me to call back and speak with Montana who would be the manager on duty as of today Monday 8/30/2021. When I called, I was told she was not available. So here we are. Weโll never use this hotel again for guests that visit us quite often, and weโll be sure to never use a โQualityโ Inn for our own and our friends and familyโs travels in the future.Edit: After reading the reply I received from management, my family is still unsatisfied with the answers provided to the complications of their stay. We realize the water was off for about 2 hours, but it was off as they were trying to shower for their day, they left soon after to attend their birthday party, and were not in the hotel most of the day. They were uncomfortable showering in the cloudy water later that night, and all in all were not impressed or satisfied with their stay. I see no comments on the employees that had poor attitudes towards my family, along with the multiple recent reviews of poor customer service. This hotel will never be booked by any of us in the future. Unfortunately, the way this situation was poorly handled in their case has affected the entire image of the Quality Inn company for us.
Id stay here again if I were in the area. Good staff and clean enough. That said, its a Quality Inn, so dont expect the Ritz. Found a small blood stain, we think, on one of the bedspreads in our room and the toilet needed the magic touch to flush well. If you dont mind minor things, its good enough.
Their was hair on the bed sheets when we arrived. The keys didnโt work throughout our stay and needed to be swapped out five times in two days. The rooms were small. I stayed there with my husband and two year old in a king room and it was very tight. The best part about the hotel was the restaurants surrounding it. Thatโs about it.
Overall this hotel stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. Check in was a breeze and check out was even quicker. The hotel was exactly the place I needed to unwind at after a long day at nearby Knoebels, and the location of the hotel being so close to many stores and restaurants was a bonus.
Wow. I canโt understand how anyone rated this higher than one unless the rooms are dramatically different. Pulled back the filthy comforter to check for bedbugs and the mattress pad was smeared with blood. The sheets look slept in. Wish I could post pictures. The toiletries include a makeup remover pad whichnos torn open and missing. Iโm suspecting the room was mot cleaned between guests and COVID and all. Yuck. We have been traveling for 10 hours in the pouring rain and there are flash flood warnings the rest of the way home. Otherwise I would be out of here!!
The staff was nice our room could have been cleaned better there was pet hair on the carpet and the window doesnt open. There wasnt any juice available for breakfast but the waffle machine was nice. Wish there was a mall or shopping center other than Walmart close by
I travel a good bit by car, when Im tired I find a room. I do use Choice Hotels most of the time, but Ive used others enough to know that I prefer Choice. Last night I stayed at this hotel and found it to be excellent, I stayed at the same hotel a year and a half ago. Both times the rooms were clean and comfortable, the stall was friendly and helpful. This is important after a long day in the car.
Conveniently located, walking distance to Quaker State & Lube. King size room has a settee, nice size refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. The entire hotel is non-smoking which is great. There is a small gazebo and seating in the center of the parking lot to enjoy a drink.
The staff were friendly. The room was not as clean as it could have been. Not well vacuumed, there were nail clippings under the desk/table. There was a stain in the comforter. The room above us was having what sounded like a wrestling match at night, and in the morning. The walls are very thin.
The Quality Inn on the Buckhorn exit off Route 80 was an excellent experience for me. The bed as well as the pillows were extremely comfortable. The room itself was clean and tidy and made me feel at home. The desk clerk couldnt have been kinder nor more helpful which I consider an immediate plus.
Customer service was great. Person at desk was very welcoming (sadly I forgot to ask for his name).Lobby is up to date. Rooms were clean. Beds very comfortable. Was on the first floor and wasnโt at all noisy. Definitely would stay again. Oh, and less than 10 miles from Knoebels (which is why we stayed there overnight).
I was very pleased with my experience. I was also pleased about the many reminders to adjust the clock for daylight savings time which is something I would have forgotten. As I mentioned previously, the quality of the bed was very important for me. The bed was very comfortable. Too many times, Im not able to fall asleep or remain asleep when I am at a hotle.
We stayed at this hotel many times when it was an EconoLodge but stopped because it was steadily going downhill. Now it is a Quality hotel so we decided to try it. First we were happy to see that the night attendant was the same man who has been checking us into our room since the first time we stopped here. The room we had was nicely upgraded and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom and vanity area also were nicely done. They removed a couple of rooms to increase the size of the lobby area so that they could now provide a hot breakfast, which was good. As good as most of the hotels we have stayed at. They have not finished the remodel yet. The hallways are still in very bad condition and the parking area, while better than before, could still use some resurfacing. Overall we were pleased with our stay although is was not cheap, then again not many nice hotels are inexpensive.
This is good hotel for weekly stays. If you work a shift schedule, be sure to let the staff know so you arent roomed close to the laundry, they will also accommodate you with flexible check in/out times.Walmart is 5 minutes away and there are a number of close restaurants, a Starbucks, and Planet Fitness. The rooms only provide a microwave, as it is not an extended stay (there are none in this area).
This location exceeded my expectations for the Quality Inn brand. The bed was easily the most comfortable Ive slept on in any hotel this past year (over 14 hotel stays this year at several brands including Cambria and Comfort Suites). I wish i would have taken note of the sheets manufacturer so i could get a set myself. Rooms are fairly modern and good sized.
Staff was top shelf. Some even offered their help off duty. Warm reception and farewell. Hotel was moderized and i appreciated the look and complimentary WIFI. USB charging lamps would be a nice touch.Only complaints were that pockets & crevasses in room need attention and business center computer programs need to be addressed. Computers Outlook email service captured my personal email causing some grief as it would not dismiss my open account. Staff helped as they could but clearly beyond their scope of expertise with all due respect.Overall stay was very enjoyable and restaurant next door was convienient!Would recommend this hotel!
Clean and comfortable room and bed. They have a fitness room which I was looking forward to, they actually have weights! The treadmill seemed to be working but making noises it shouldnt be making so I got off of it. Price was good, a little weird coming in, there are several sets of doors when you come in on the sides that you have to enter to be able to get into this place. Overall good place to stay for night for a decent price.
The hotel isnโt in a great area but the outside didnโt look bad. Inside however was dirty and old looking. The room had a musty smell and looks like it needs updating ASAP. It felt very claustrophobic and it was a lot smaller than expected. For $80+, you can find something better and more comfortable for a night.
For a 2 star hotel it was surprisingly more accommodating then initially anticipated. Us b charging in room if you forget the wall plug.Mini fridge with freezer and microwave in room was a nice surprise....The room itself was clean and comfortable. The chowerwas roomy. An hot water was hot.The breakfast in the morning was quite delicious. The evening even had complementarity Nachos...
I was covering the drag race at Numidia Dragway, which was about a 20-minute ride south. Needed a place to stay Saturday of the event and chose this hotel. It is in the middle of an empty former mall and the place showed its age. Clean room. They gave me a first floor as requested. Next door is a Quaker Steak Lube restaurant, which gave a 10% discount if you showed your room key. The room had apparently been cleaned or the carpet shampooed as the door was ajar when I checked in and the window was open. Did not notice any odor or stains but just strange for a room to be left open to anyone walking by in the corridor. Price could have been better as the place was far from booked. Maybe in the summer when the amusement park is open the place fills up.
This is a good, clean, and safe place to stay. The people at the front desk were great and the parking lot was very well lit at night. The room had recently been remodeled and had nice furniture and bathroom fixtures. The only issue was the lampshades were old and stained. It seemed foolish to remodel the room and not put in new lampshades. The breakfast is very standard... I sure wish more Choice Hotels would mix it up a little more.
Our stay was great. Staff was friendly and helpful, and they put on a full breakfast that we didnt expect. Justin at the front desk was very happy and outgoing, and I appreciate it. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, and they were happy to provide extra pillows when we asked. I have no complaints that arent because of a budget type setting- the bathroom was a little on the small side, but what do you expect? I will definitely stay here again the next time Im in the area, and would recommend it to others.
My finace and I traveled down too visit Knobels, a childhood and life long favorite amusement park, for My Birthday. We only wanted to stay one evening in a room so we looked within the local area and the prices were outrageous. Luckily, I remembered the location of what use to be the EconoLodge that My Family and I stayed in when I was younger. Quality Inn was a convenient location and the price was reasonable for a one evening stay. The updates are coming along nicely and the room was clean and simple. Although we did not eat their complimentary breakfast the following morning, we did recognize the solid amount of people enjoying their meals. Staff was attentive upon both our arrival and departure and we felt safe and comfortable within the realms of this hotel.
We stayed here while a relative in the area was ill. The staff were amazing. The facilities were great. The breakfasts were warm and better than average. The beds were soft and snuggly warm. The bathrooms were clean and well kept. The handicapped room was accessible and useful. The double room had room for a wheelchair bound person to get in the bed, but the bathroom facilities were not accessible. The handicapped person needed help at the breakfast counter. Our stay was overall great. I cant say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff were.
We were traveling between Chicago and Connecticut and were looking for a place to stay overnight. We found the staff friendly and efficient. The room was clean and fresh. Unfortunately, they had guests with dogs next to us which woke us up about 6 am.. When I spoke to the desk, they said they did not separate guests on the first floor from those with pets. Unfortunate.
Room was nice, the beds were great, so comfortable. The air conditioner worked well. The hotel is being updated. Breakfast was the typical breakfast thats included with your stay. The staff was very pleasant. I would definitely stay again. The Quaker Steak and Lube restaurant next door has great food.
The Quality Inn renovations exceeded out expectations. The beds were super comfy and very modern looking room. It was nice to have light breakfast available. Very quiet! The only suggestion I could make it to add grab bars in the bathroom, as I had my aging mother along, and possibly make tub floors non-slip.
Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable, and the rooms were clean. We had a small refrigerator in our room, which was nice. Continental breakfast when we were there included hard boiled eggs, toaster waffles, bagels, English muffins, cereal and even mini muffins, so it was more than adequate for both of us. Price was high for the type of hotel, but given how pleasant everything was, it was worth the money, and as good as many higher priced hotels.
Our room wasnโt clean. Toothpaste was still all over the counter and the tile floor was full of dirt and muddy footprints. The toilet paper barely had enough on it for one use. When we brought this to the attention of the front desk we were told that they would call the housekeeping staff (not located on-site) so that they could attend to our room while we were out. When we returned late that night we found that only part of the counter was cleaned (with toothpaste still remaining) and the floors were never touched. If they canโt be bothered to mop the floors and properly clean main surfaces, I have a hard time believing that the bedding is changed. Not a pleasant thought when you have no idea who was in the room before. Breakfast was sub-par. Items were empty and had to be brought to the attention of the staff. Tables were not cleaned when vacated. Garbage was overflowing. Overall disappointing stay.
I was in the area for an agility trial, so I was traveling with my dogs. The hotel met all our needs and beyond. The room was spotless and everything was in working order. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The property is conveniently close to a variety of restaurants. The grounds were clean and there was plenty of grass for walking the dogs.
Hotel was clean, comfortable, good value for the money. A bit older than many hotels Ive stayed at but kept well. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was a bit dull but for this time of year, it was more than I expected. I would have liked it if they had milk for the coffee during the day as I am alergic to creamers. Otherwise, this was a very nice stay.
Room seemed to be half fast clean. Pet hair on the sofa, used towels on the bathroom door hook, used soap wrappers in the bathroom. Not sure that I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Water temp and pressure was good, better then most as they tend to run out of hot water. Did not do the breakfast, but it did look good.
Clean, Satisfied, easy check in and out. Plenty of space in the room. For my visit and stay, it was just perfect. I was comfortable, bed was good, temperature control in the room was easily adjusted to my liking. Well lit room and no signs of bed bugs to worry about!
The hotel was very clean and the room looked fresh everyday. I was there for five days. The hotel was completely sold out but we heard no noise at night. The breakfast was adequate and had hard boiled eggs for protein. Was disappointed that there was no hair dryer but was pleased that when I asked for an iron they had one to use. The staff greeted us pleasantly everyday and asked if we needed anything. Very nice stay and would definitely stay there again.
We spent 10 days at this Econlodge and were quite comfortable. We had a ground floor king with small couch, desk and microwave/refrigerator. It had a large vanity area which I really liked. It has interior corridors. The lobby area looked clean and attractive. Staff was friendly and helpful. There were a number of restaurants and fast food places nearby. It was quiet. Very close to the freeway but far enough not to have truck /car noise. They only have a continental breakfast which was adequate for most days but there is a Perkins 2 blocks away if you need something more. They do not have a pool if you are traveling with kids. Nor do they have an elevator, but they did set us up for a ground floor room as we requested. I used the laundry and thought the machines were better than most hotels. The washer held a full sized load of clothes and the dryer dried the load completely in 50 minutes. They did have a exercise room with 3 basic machines but we didnt use it
The grounds of this hotel were well maintained. In our brief encounters with the staff, they seemed polite and welcoming. We were on a floor where smoking was permitted, so our room smelled like cigarette smoke. Unfortunately, we also had some noisy people with a dog lodging on the floor with us. But the bed was comfortable, the Wifi worked, and the price was not bad.
Overall a good stay. The rooms were clean with updated bedding. Outside of hotel/parking area could use some attention-well worn. Front desk staff were very nice. Minor things-Air conditioning not cold enough, soft mattresses and random bug in toilet/shower area but overall good for 1 night. Breakfast was all pre-made items to pop in microwave-nothing special. I thought the rate was a bit high but it was in line with the other hotels in the area. I would stay there again if Im in the area and need a hotel.
Made last minute reservation and had problems trying to do on-lne so called hotel directly. It was very easy to get in and out of from Highway. Service from desk was very quick for check in/out. Wi=Fi service was very good ... not a single dropped connection the whole night. The room location was a little difficult to get in and out of. It was quiet but long way from elevator so had to use stairs. Room was clean and simple. Price was not bad. I would stay here again.
Very happy with this hotel. Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Really enjoyed the continental breakfast. Great presentation! It saved us a trip to go out for breakfast. Worth the 20 minute drive from Knoebels. I plan to come back next year!
This Quality Inn is right by an I80 exit and convenient for a visit to Knoebels amusement park. The staff, especially the front desk, are extremely helpful and very pleasant. The renovated lobby looks nice and is comfy but the halls and rooms seem dark and cramped. Rooms were worn but clean. The beds had plush pillowtop-like coverings that let you sink in like a waterbed and are not too comfortable to sleep on, especially if you prefer a firm bed. Breakfast was as expected though the egg cakes were strange. Unfortunately, the hotel did not feel very safe because its at one end of a near deserted mall. But the perks are convenience to the highway, Knoebels (about 10 miles away), and several nearby food options.
We made reservations at the very last minute so there werent a lot of deals to be had. We chose this hotel because they accommodate dogs. I had concerns about this brand because of so many negative comments in the past but I was very pleasantly surprised. It was very clean, very quiet, and the employees were very accommodating and nice. I would stay here again. I would also recommend this particular Quality Inn to others.
We stayed at this hotel after our trip to Knoebels Theme Park. It is located near a deserted mall and next to a Quaker Steak and Lube restaurant. We ate dinner at the Quaker Steak and Lube.We found the hotel staff who checked us in to be friendly and helpful. They ensured our needs were met. We checked into a room with a King sized bed and another party we were with checked into a room with 2 Queen sized beds. We found the rooms to be clean and well appointed. In the morning we left without having breakfast but the other party we were with did have breakfast. They found the breakfast to be of comparable to other hotels that serve a hot breakfast.
Was a great stay, no hidden up charge and half the price of other hotels here. No indoor pool maybe the difference but hey do not need that for 3 adults. Stayed in one of the updated rooms, was awesome and slept well. Breakfast has some nice options and coffee was good. For 3 people, one room, 2 queen beds, under $90 including tax. Went next door to food restaurant 2 minute walk was fun there too. I will use again if in area.
I stayed for one night and the overall experience was good. The room was clean and equipped with a refrigerator and coffee maker for convenience. The room was equipped with wifi, which was good for surfing the internet but I experienced problems trying to stream video. While not on the level of my usual hotel stays at one of those suite type of hotels, it served the purpose for a one night stay at a reasonable cost.
Great customer service. The receptionist was very helpful in my friends and I situations. The only thing I wished this place had was a charging station for electric cars. More and more people are driving electric cars and hotel choices will be influenced by whether or not they can accommodate electric cars. Even if they dont have the charging station, then at least have a standard 3 pronged outlet with extension cords accessible for drivers.
We recently spent a quick overnight in this hotel on our way back home from Oklahoma and I can say that it was not our first choice, but it was the only hotel in the area that had any vacancy. The room was on the 2nd floor which is a smoking floor and the smell was unbelievable.3 out of the 4 of us are smokers and ALWAYS smoke outside so we always opt for non smoking rooms. The room smelled so strongly of cigarettes that none of us could even tolerate it. It wasnt just the smoke smell, but the stuffy air that was stale and in desperate need of an airing out. It was surprising that the hotel housekeeping staff did not open the windows in order to air out the rooms on the smoking floor since our room had a screen and large functioning window. Since we checked in around dinner time it didnt leave much time to air out the room to make enough difference, but it would have been nice if the staff would have attempted to freshen up the air and let a little breather in those rooms. The room overall was clean for the most part, but certainly not at all worth the cost of the stay. Had their been other vacancies we absolutely would have paid double the cost to stay at another chain with a better quality atmosphere than this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly at the desk upon check in and we were happy with the restaurant right in the parking lot.Overall - the hotel is NOT WORTH THE MONEY. There is desperate need for air circulation through the rooms since the smoke and stale air stench was so overwhelming that every item of our personal belongings still smelled of it the rest of our trip after only having spent 12 hours in the room. The hotel has NO ELEVATOR which makes it ridiculously difficult to navigate the 2 sets of stairs to get to the 2nd floor with luggage. Absolutely not worth the money. The only saving grace was the friendly gentleman working the evening shift upon check in and the restaurant in the parking lot. Would NOT stay again.
We stayed at Bloomsburg Econo Lodge for daughters graduation. The place was very clean, hotel staff very nice. I had asked for extra pillows when I made the reservation and did receive them. In the past I have asked for extra pillows when staying at different hotels and never had them in the room on arrival. Always had to ask. So I was impressed. We had an enjoyable stay and highly recommend.
This was our fourth year staying at the Econo Lodge in Bloomsburg. Overall, the experience was average. We didnt have any problems with noise. The hotel was clean and housekeeping kept up with our room for the three nights that we stayed. I like that your hotel is pet-friendly...even though we didnt bring our puppy. The first three years that we have stayed here, we were allowed to check-in early, as we are coming from six hours away...but, this year we were not allowed to and the front desk staff was a little rude about it. There is a basic hotel breakfast, but nothing hot (like waffles or eggs). Coffee was always available when we wanted it. Although I didnt use the fitness center this year, there is a room with a treadmill and one other machine that both worked when I used them last year. We would probably stay here again, but are looking into hotels with more variety at breakfast.
I stay here a few times a year and will continue to do so. Conveniently located right off the highway, and near many restaurants and a few gas stations/convenience stores right across the street. Rooms are always clean, pet friendly, and staff is always very eager to help, and of course free breakfast never hurts! Price has always been unbeatable for this location. Definitely recommend
The staff was great; very friendly and helpful. No elevators to the second floor made it difficult to get all your luggage up in one trip. The halls smelled of cigarette smoke but the odor did not come into the room I had. The room was small but comfortable and served the purpose.
Great find when we needed a place to stay last minute with bad weather delays across I-80. The hotel is just off the highway yet quiet. Renovations are continuing but our room was redone and well appointed. Facility is well lit. Rate paid was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Ive stayed here many times over the past five years. A very good value for the budget conscious business traveler. Rooms are very clean, bathrooms very clean, sheets and towels are of a good quality. Free wi-fi service and the included breakfast are essential in todays world.
This was our first time staying at this motel since it became a Quality Inn and we were pleasantly surprised! Very good experience! The only thing we werent happy with was the lady who checked us in - she wasnt friendly at all. Everything else was perfect! I would definitely stay at this motel again!!! We came to town for a visit to Knoebels and this motel was very convenient. Lots of good restaurants choose to the motel.
We were greeted by Justin upon our arrival. He was very courteous and had us checked into the room in just a few moments. The room was very clean, comfortable and the bedding was very nice. We would recommend this hotel and would stay here again. When we checked out, it was very quick and we were told to come back soon.
Loved the layout of the room. the internet connection was PHENOMENOL! the employees we interacted with were very friendly, professional and welcoming. we were so happy to have 2 bedrooms, that was very nice. the furniture was broken, the table was uneven and wobbled when you tried to sit there, the couch was very worn and uncomfortable, the lamp on the desk was faulty, we unplugged it so it would not start on fire. and the layout of the room was not thought out, the TV was across from the windows so you could not have the curtains open and enjoy the sun while the tv was on, it would glare and the bed was too high for me, I had a hard time getting into it, but my tall husband loved the bed. The bathroom shower should have a railing for those of us that have bad knees and because the tub floor was very slippery.
We stayed here to take day trips to Knoebels and Ashland. I was pleasantly surprised that the suite had two bedrooms and that was perfect for my family. The hotel is definitely a little older, so it doesnt have as many amenities. There was only one tv, but the hi speed internet service kind of made up for that. The musty smell was overwhelming at first. It was a nice continental breakfast. The staff was efficient, but not overly friendly. We would stay here again.
I love this hotel! Twice they have accommodated me on short notice. Its always been clean, the air and/or heat in the rooms has always worked. The staff is amazing! They are always friendly and helpful, they smile when they say hello and are very polite. I have 2 small boys and they all interact with them wonderfully! I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying there again!
Please replace the chairs in the rooms! The ones in my room were so old uncomfortable it was literally impossible to sit in them unless you put down one or two pillows first! The beds were however very comfortable. Also, I know the breakfast was free but the second day was was so sparse, no boiled eggs as in previous day, and the coffee was so weak it wasnt worth drinking. Staff are partly responsible I suppose, and Econo Lodge should do occasional spot checks on their franchises to ensure a great stay at all locations!
Reserve this hotel the day before we stayed using our Choice Privilege points. I needed a pet friendly room with 2 beds and NO smoking. I called the hotel and they had that room but C.P. app and phone reservations said there was no such room and pushed to put me in a non smoking with no pets. THAT wasnt happening. I called the hotel and they said just make the reservation with the room C.P. could give me and they would fix it. They did what they said the would. We got there and the room I wanted was waiting for me.This is the second time I stayed in a pet friendly room. (We just started traveling with our pet.) I was expecting it to smell like wet dog like the last place we stayed with our family dog but it didnt. I was very pleased about that. Clean room and front desk was very friendly and very helpful. All vending machines worked and they have complimentary doggy bones at the front desk. Also had local coupons for nearby food delivery if you ask for them.Breakfast wasnt too big but it also wasnt to small. Not much hot food but we still had full bellies when we left.WiFi worked great for us.I plan on staying here in the future. Frackville was closer to our family but too many bad reviews. Not to mention shopping is walking distance. Too bad I was too tired to shop during our stay.
Only stayed for 1 night but was very happy with the accommodations. We are a family of 5 and I liked that we could reserve one room with a roll-away bed. Not many places offer that option. It was clean, comfortable and the location was perfect. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and made our stay enjoyable.
Toilet would not flush in our room. the hotel did offer to move us but being it was so late we did not want to pack up our stuff and move to another room. Then we go to put on the AC with the temp down to 60 and the fan speed on high the room did not cool down. it was a awful night sleep. if u are going to stay here check everything in your room asap. Staff was friendly and nice and hotel is clean.
This hotel has made some updates. New bathroom and sink fixtures, new mirror. Room was not clean. The bottom 6 inches of the wall mirror had smudges from a pet or child. Carpet was dirty around the edges. Bathroom door frame/jam was rusted and trim was not painted.
Love staying here, they are pet friendly and the grounds are perfect for furry friends to walk around on. Away from traffic and nestled in a quiet spot makes it a great place for people and pets. The discount coupon to the nearby restaurant is a great savings. The rooms are clean and well kept. There is a great selection for breakfast. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area and what it offers. Will definitely stay again.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and my two Granddaughters {7 and 4} thought the continental breakfast was the best!! The only thing we had an issue with was the air conditioning it didnt cool well at night. We would defiantly go back again.
The staff was very helpful. We were three ladies on motorcycles and mine was broken down. They granted us a late check-out at no charge so we could get my bike fixed and head out on our way. No complaints about comfort or cleanliness. We needed help from the staff to get on the wi-fi.
Wifi was out for the first few days of my stay, other than that everything else in room was fine. Breakfast was definately not a big seller at this hotel. It is nice to get ten percent off your food bill at Quaker Steak and Lube, too bad it doesnt count on drinks too.
Room was clean which is most important.Staff seemed friendly. This place is massive and a little bit confusing. No phone or welcome book in the room.Oversized vehicle is far away.Restaurant very limited menu, server let me know the cook wasnt in yet it was 6:00 pm.I would stay again simply because of the price.
I had just about no problem staying at this place. It was under renovations, but the breakfast is fine the room was clean and generally I have just about no complaints. I did however get one of the older rooms, where my friend got one of the newer rooms. My friends room was Superior in every way, but the staff is super friendly and really help me out with whatever I needed.
The room was clean, but the a/c was not turned on before my arrival. After a long, hot day of college orientation I was ready to relax in a cool room. The staff was very friendly and I heard no noise from other guest which was a concern since this is a pet friendly hotel.
Excellent service. Nice Lobby. Breakfast is almost all carbs. Would appreciate some scrambled eggs. They had hard boiled. Decent rooms and in good condition. Landscaping excellent. Clean. Will need refreshing in 2-3 years to stay on top of their game. No family living in this one. No pungent odors from cooking in the lobby. By far the best Econo Lodge left. I wont stay at any others anymore. They are too hit and miss. This one is a hit. very convenient to Mall, Perkins, Cracker Barrel, and Quaker Steak and Lube.
The hotel was clean it was easy to check in and out. the staff was friendly and helpful. This is the first time I ever made a hotel reservation so this experience wil make me want to to do this agian sometime. It was not dissatisfying in any way. Thank you econo lodge. I would also like to add that we attended an event in bloomsburg and econo lodge provided trasportation to and from the event wich was very convenient and thoughtful.
This is formerly a Econolodge and is being completely refurbished to what seems to be a near-flagship model of what a Quality Inn should be like.Ive stayed here on business about 7 times and had a positive impression every time. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are spacious and clean. No hesitation in recommending this location.
Not a great hotel, but for the price its okay. Close to a few different restaurants. Room was okay. Bed was showing its age and not very comfortable. Stations on the TV where not great. Said they had Cinemax, but it was Cinemax 2 and had only old B rated movies on it. No guide for what was on, so it channel surfing for programs very difficult. Breakfast was decent for a free one.
I wouldnt hesitate to stay at this hotel again. The quality of the hotel accommodations, the friendliness and the professionalism of the staff was greatly appreciated. This is an excellent hotel and I would recommend it to anyone traveling or staying in the area. We also appreciated the discounts offered at a couple of associated restaurants in the area. That value added item was a pleasant surprise.
On the first night we stayed, my friends and I noticed multiple stains on the bedding including stains which looked like blood. The next day we went out and I noticed after we had left the hotel that I left my ring on the nightstand (where I put the rest of my jewelry). Later on, we arrive back to the hotel and the ring was nowhere to be found. I had looked everywhere for it and to no avail. When I checked to see if the front desk attendants could help, they both seemed to not take the situation seriously. I never did find my ring.
Great experience from start to finish. We usually arrive early and stop at the hotel because it is on our way to the fairgrounds. The rooms are always ready to go and the staff is always friendly. We go to most of the Eagle Arms Shows and this is one of the nicest places to stay for the price. We will definitely be back again.
Front desk girl is very rude. Been a long time customer of this hotel and choice Hotels international. Made to feel like i didnt belong. Girl raised her voice at a paying customer. I will never stay here againAnd I recommend the comfort suits across the way by lowes.
The hotel was clean. The staff was tops; friendly and helpful. KFC and Burger King are practically on the same lot. Perkins and other restaurants are near by. You can pay more for the H. I. , But why would you? Soft linens, Restful stay, Hot Shower or Bath, and if you stay for Sunday Breakfast youre in for a treat. Flat screen TV is small, older model but works fine. WiFi connects with ease.
The hotel room was very nice and the breakfast was more than I had expected. I would make sure of your price given. I was given a price, I then told the person making the reservation that I had Triple AAA and she said to show the card at check in for the discount. I gave to the guy upon check in and was advised price was adjusted. I did not look at receipt til I got home and discount not applied. I called and the lady told me it should have been done when I called, but it was not. She said she had no way to check what the price was Saturday night. Seems like she was rushed and did not want to assist me, most likely she was the one that I spoke to when I first reserved the room and could not be bothered to check it out.
The staff was very nice when I checked in. Easy to come and go. The room was much bigger than I anticipated. The WiFi was poor only because you need to be close to the common areas. That is not very satisfying late at night. The breakfast was what we expected except some food was already cold. For a one night stay, it was acceptable for the price.
The hotel had signs advising that refurbishment was being done. The area in which our room was located, and the room itself, were just fine. The breakfast area also was quite nice, and large enough to hold a number of people - something Ive found is not always the case. The staff was very friendly.
We enjoyed our stay at the Econolodge! The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff very friendly. Room is equipped with a microwave, a refrigerator, desk, and WiFi access too.Nothing luxurious....just reliable and very fairly priced. A better deal than other hotels in the immediate area!
I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Econolodge in Bloomsburg with my family. Even thought we only spent one night there, the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast has something to offer for everybody, waffles, muffins, bagels, cereal and even hard boiled eggs ( which my grandchildren loved). I would recommend this motel for anybody looking for good quality and inexpensive rates. Its not luxurious, but comfortable and has everything you might need for a short stay, including a one cup coffeemaker in the room.
Rooms are a bit dated, but the service is friendly and attentive. Price for the room was super cheap and in a convenient location for food and shopping if youre staying in the area for Knoebels. Lobby area looks renovated and continental breakfast was good. Id consider coming back here.
The clerk at the hotel was helpful and kind however inexperienced. Our children had to be in a room around the hall from us. Which wasnt necessarily the hotels fault. The hallway smelled of cat urine. Thank goodness the room didnt. The king bed was rather hard but we made due. The continental breakfast was rather lacking in comparison to other hotel chains we have stayed at.
My experience in this hotel was terrible! Our room had a terrible smell, people outside smoking, drinking and talking all night and they sounded like they were in the room with us. On the 1st floor cars and pickups can literally back up against the building, right at the AC unit and window. Rooms are old, which is OK but the doors are misaligned so they do not close right and need to be slammed shut.
Check-in was great and the gentleman who checked me in was very helpful. Room was great and very clean. The warm chocolate cookies at check-in were a welcoming sight!! My only complaint was that the pillows were too firm but that was my fault as I usally bring my own down pillows.
Really really weak from a customer service perspective. When I checked in the front desk person was on the phone, which is fine, but she didnโt even look up and acknowledge me. I donโt like that, I worked in hospitality, staff should make people feel welcome, I was made to feel the opposite. When she did get off the phone she acted very annoyed that I dared to bother her with my check in. Then, and this is the biggest annoyance, I was told I could t check in until 3pm. The reason I was even in this town is because my car broke down and the part to repair it wonโt be in until tomorrow .I drove all night and hadnโt slept and was feeling rotten. She showed absolutely zero empathy. Like I said, I worked in hospitality and I still work in a customer facing role..I go above and beyond to help people where I can. You think business owners would hire people who fit that profile.... but instead, over and over I encounter people in the service industry who act like they are put out when they have to do their basic minimum job description....they are clearly only interested in collecting a paycheck, which is fine, but go work in a factory where you donโt have to deal with people. Anyway, Iโm just fed up with paying good money for things and then being treated disrespectfully. Iโm not asking for special treatment....just do your job, and yes, do it with a smile! Even if youโre faking it.
I did not stay at this hotel , just to be clear - I was ready to book and pay. Website says pet-friendly. They are not. DOG FRIENDLY ONLY, Very misleading. Glad that I did not show up with my animals (cats). Never had a problem at Red Roof Inn or La Quinta.... just a little further away than I wanted this time.
The hotel was semi clean in the hallways and the rooms. the room temperature was very unsatisfied! the a/c fan was broken so the room temperature did not get very cool. so it was hot and muggy! asked to switch rooms was put in another room that stunk with bleach and had a big stain on the floor! overall the rooms were Terrible but the Hotel has friendly staff!
Although the bedding was old it was clean. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Theres a great field out back for dogs to do their thing. Nice little breakfast in the morning. The discount for Perkins and Quaker Steak was pretty cool. Easy on and off from I80 which rules!!!
The hotel didnt look at all like the pictures, had a very hostel feel and look to the rooms, the bedding, towels and furnishings were either cheap, stained, outdated, or some combination thereof. On the other hand, the front desk staff was completely wonderful at in/check out.
We went for a get away. It was a nice and relaxing stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Next time we go for another getaway we are going back there. We ate dinner at Quacker steak and lube it was right next to the hotel and we got a 10% off just for staying at the economy lodge. Over all a great place!!

2022-06-17I needed a place to rest my head that had dining within walking distance. There are three hotels near 80, I choose the Quality Inn because it was next to Quaker Steak and Lube. The room was spacious, the bed was clean and very comfortable. Desk in the room, mini fridge. The AC worked great and I never heard any of the severe storms that went through overnight. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent, coffee was very good.

2022-04-17I stayed here for my sisters wedding which was only a 4 minute drive from the hotel. The location is very good as its also right next to a good restaurant and nearby a Walmart. The room we had was spacious and very clean! I rarely go to hotels that are this clean so I was very pleased. The free breakfast was also very nice. A large variety of offerings and even a waffle maker! The staff were courteous when checking in and out and overall I had a comfortable stay here. No complaints.

2022-06-07Nice, clean, spacious rooms. Staff is friendly. They have a nice variety for breakfast and the price is reasonable. They accept pets which is a huge plus. Close to restaurants and stores like Walmart. Hotel is quiet which is another plus. Check in/out was super easy and quick. We will definitely be staying here when we are back in the area later this week.

2022-03-28The bed was SUPER comfy and clean and soft. The front desk was SO helpful! Easy on and off the highway. Literally NO complaints. I will be staying here again in the future when I have to travel to the area and dont feel like driving 2 hours home at the end of a long day.

2022-01-19Was just ok. The room was fairly clean. Breakfast could use some improvement. Foil wrapped sandwiches which they make sure to put a sign your only to have one. Then they have cereal out with no milk. Just some thickened Hormel dairy beverage in a box ๐คฎ

2022-04-25Great location- just off interstate and near restaurants within walking distance.Front desk staff unwelcoming and downright rude. We arrived after 13 hours of driving and instead of capping that off with a warm welcome they were cold and then argued with us about our reservation.

2022-04-23Pros: Very nice staff, extremely clean rooms, and good priceCons: Cable TV signal was very poor, free breakfast although free was worthless and didnt start till 6:30I was solo, but if you had kids the TV was worthless to add entertainment. I drive truck, needed to be on the road early. I waited for the 6:30 breakfast and should have just left at 6..

2022-01-31Itโs a decent hotel, you get what you pay for. The beds are very comfy, but the bathrooms are very small and the rooms are very dirty. You can tell the rooms are not cleaned much between guests. Also be careful to check your bill as Iโm assuming they will try to charge everyone the fee for an animal. I was billed for an unregistered dog in the room, when I called the person at the desk told me house keeping found evidence of a dog in the room, neither me or my girlfriend own a dog. The bill was corrected.

2022-03-20We were traveling 900 miles to rescue a Great Dane. This limited our hotel options. This hotel was much cleaner and modern than I expected. Definitely a great value. Thank you choice hotels for allowing dogs!
