One of the boilers at my rental had a expansion tank leak. I contacted R&R and they provided their expertise on how to proceed. It was easy to coordinate the repair and they performed a quick turnaround so my tenant could have heat before the latest snowstorm.
The service tech, Armando, was on time, knowledgeable, and very helpful. He performed routine maintenance on my furnace, quickly located and diagnosed a duct issue, and went above and beyond in repairing it.A friends in the neighborhood suggested R&R Mechanical to me, and Im very glad they did, because Im very happy with the service I received.
Initial contact was top notch professional and curious, listened to my issue and concerns. Tech made several suggestions to be considered by me and my wife; which we are leaning towards.Can not answer second question at this time.
I will definitely recommend using R&R Mechanical Services. With having no knowledge of the whole background of ductless AC systems, Ramon explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. The communication was excellent throughout the whole process from this company. The installers were very respectful, and followed safety protocols. The system was installed quickly, it looks professionally done, the technicians protected my furniture from dust/debris and cleaned up after to the point that it looked like they werent even here.
We highly recommend R&R Mechanical Services. They’re professional, clean, on-time and their work is excellent! They restored our commercial central unit at our church and installed a new central air unit at our home. The professional work, quick response to any issue and the warranty are worth the money. You get what you paid for. We’re more than pleased!
Had a great experience using R&R Mechanical. I was having an issue with an AC unit at one of my properties. They were able to come out within 24 hours and repaired it quickly and seamlessly. Will definitely use again!
I had 4 Daikin units installed. My house is older so this was the best option, and I love these units!Prices were great, scheduled quickly, came on time, very professional and the product is great quality. I liked how they texted me when they were on their way with their pictures. My house feels wonderfully chill and the units are quiet. Highly recommend!
R & R and Ramon are always great. In my 10 years of getting the boiler for my business serviced, no one comes close to the expertise of Ramon. He has fixed when others were baffled. Always on time, great to deal with and reasonable prices. This most recent we had no heat in the building. Ramon came out quickly, found parts for my old boiler and within hours we had heat again. I highly recommend Ramon and R & R (obviously).
R&R Mechanical was great. Ramon was the most knowledgable person I have ever met, on my businesss old steam boiler. He explained parts, how they worked and promised five minutes in he would have it running that day. I felt bad he made that promise because he seemed so likable and positive and that had never happened. BUT HE DID IT! Then he explained the stages of repair and weighed them against a new system. In ten years of servicing an old system this was a refreshing new turn. Now we are warm and can make affordable, cost effective decisions moving forward. Also, Johnny, a second technician was there. He too was great and like Ramon so good at explaining options, parts, and results. R&R Mechanical office staff, texts, phone calls were also helpful, on the ball and as I said a refreshing change in dealing with Heating and AC contractors. Great people, great (fast) service.
R and R is the best company I could have chosen. I live out of the country and they were more than helpful, understanding , professional and still very personal. They went above requirements to bring uneeded window untis to my wheel chair bound son living in another house. There consultation and recommendation and work was spot on. I would recommend them to anyone.
I had a split-unit HVAC system that was damaged and R&R helped diagnose and eventually install a new outdoor unit. Throughout the time that I worked with them everyone was very professional, technicians came on time and were respectful of the space. Thank you R&R for a timely and very professional installation!
My experience with R&R was excellent! From the day that Ramon came out to give me an estimate, I know they were the right company. They work with integrity, offer the proper pricing, and the work they did in my house is wonderful!
I recently bought a home and the ductless system stopped working I had a few vendors out to access and all of them gave me costs to replace the system. I found R& R Mechanical through searching internet and had no idea what to expect. Rosa was the first person I spoke to. She was professional and was able to get me on the schedule very quicklyI met with Roman who did not jump to conclusions to replace a ductless system that was installed in 2016 He was willing to do the research, talk with the manufacturer, and was tenacious in resolving the issues. At each step in the process Roman gave me a detailed update. He treated this system as if it was his personal home because he was insistent on getting parts under warranty and was conscious not to spend money on repairs that were not neededWhat a refreshing surprise to have a company make the customer a priority. I will recommend R&R Mechanical to anyone who is looking for a mechanical contractor I plan on using R&R Mechanical for and maintenance services They know exactly what they are going. R &R Mechanical Services was wonderful during a stressful heater repair. They were responsive, on time, pleasant and professional. I understand why they have such good Yelp reviews. Very happy with the service.
This is the first time I ever write a review but I felt compelled to share. R&R (Ramon) was the 4th company I had come out to service my central. Ramon the doctor was the only person who found the actual problem(s) with my AC. He was relentless and would not let up until he got to the bottom of it and fixed it thoroughly. After having 3 companies tell me that I need a new unit, he fixed it and told me that I do not need a new unit. I’m grateful and happy that I finally found my go to for anything HVAC related. Their experience and professionalism blew me away.
We just had R&R install our Mini split system in our home. We were promised that these units would keep our house cold, and they more than delivered on that promise.The owner and staff were very courteous and professional. They were kind enough to pick up after themselves. They also took the time to answer all my questions as they came up.I am very satisfied with their work and would recommend to my friend and family.

R&R came out quickly to fix our broken boiler. The tech was efficient, guided us through everything he was doing, and was very patient answering all of our questions. Best of all we found the price to be very reasonable. Well certainly be using them to service our boiler annually now so we can avoid any future issues.

He is knowledgeable and experienced and explained everything clearly; he answered all of our questions; and he revised the plans promptly when we made some changes in the scope of the project.As for Sam and Jason who installed the equipment, wed give each of them ten stars and then some. Ramon was as always professional and very pleasant. He explained what the problem was and how he fixed the problem. Let me add R&R weren’t the original company who installed my mini split air conditioners. The original company was a “fly by night” company who I would not recommend to my worst enemy!! Thankfully Ramon saved the day and now the air conditioning units are working they way they should of been from day one. So glad I found R&R Mechanical Service Inc what a great company. Sorry but I had to change my review.Not happy how things were handled after unit failed. I had issues with my cooling unit so they came out to my home. Mechanic mentioned that unit only needs some parts replaced and a few other items. He also sold me on a sealer which I was fine with. We spend about $1200. 3 months later unit is not cooling any longer. I contact R&R and they send another mechanic and charged me another $85 to only tell me that the unit is old and finding the problem will cost me another $400. They also cannot guarantee that they will find the issue. My frustration is why we had to pay another $85 and when they send the first mechanic why he did not mentioned the unit is old and we should look into having it replaced. We would of done the work right from the start, now we are $1300 in the hole and we could never get that money back. After all this when I was on the phone with R&R they where more interested on selling me a new unit and how it was being paid than how can they win my business back. To add to this they were going to send me quote and I still havent heard back from them 3 weeks later.
I give them a 10 if I could. I had an A/C issue that needed correcting. So living in a time where social media is the way of finding a good reliable company for service, I Googled A/C service’s in my area and a few came up and I looked at the reviews posted and R&R had a great rating and great customer comments so I had called them and explained what was going on and set up a service call with Vicky, I chose to set up an appoint for the following day since that would work best for me. My technician Johnny arrived in the time frame the next day, I explained the issue that I was having and explained it’s a new system since we bought the house a year ago and we didn’t have any problem last year while using the A/C. He went right to work and addressed what was causing my problem and had it completed in record time. Johnny to me was one of the best technicians that I’ve dealt with in recent years, he was attentive, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with, having worked in customer service for almost 40 years I can see an employee who cares about the customer service and he is an asset to R&R, in talking I mentioned I was looking for someone to service my HVAC unit and he mentioned a plan that they offer and I signed up knowing in the future I’ll be dealing with a company who cares about their customers and the delivers a great customer experience. Vicky and Rosa you also delivered as well on my customer experience, a job well done .
Ive used R&R for a second ductless A.C. install of 2 units in my home. They are professional, quick, experienced, and do high quality work. I recommend them to anyone requiring their services. They will work with you and your home to find the best way to install the units. Truly one of my favorite companies to do business with.
Weve used 3 other HVAC services in our area and none could hold a candle to R&R Mechanical. 13 years old power directed vent water heater replacement on 11/14/2019The professionalism of the company showed throughout the process, from initial contact, appointment scheduling, work performance, to job completion.I must mention several names who are involved and gave me such a satisfying experience.Vicky, who showed empathy and passion when she found out my case is urgent, furthermore, she coordinated perfectly when she’s supposed to be off work. Very upsetting. We called for an appointment because 3 yrs ago when we moved into our house they were very kind. They pulled our blower and evaporator coil and cleaned each for a reasonable price. Other than the cleaning we have never had any repairs to our heater or AC unit. So I recently called because we were getting water on the floor. I had even told the office manager water in the drip pan looked a bit high. The owner wants to charge me $1,800 for a new evaporator or install a new unit. I begged him to please take another look as only leaking a little water and cooling our house very well but he wont touch it. So today I put my shop vac on the weep hole...turns out it was a bit clogged causing the drip tray to overflow. Took me 5 minutes and problem solved. Granted my unit is about 12yrs old but why do I feel like I was being scammed by R & R when my system works fine and a novice like me could fix the problem so easily? Very upsetting the owner would treat me this way. A simple overflowing drip tray is something I would expect an experienced AC repairman to be able to fix the first time.
RR came and troubleshot a problem with our semi-complicated hot water heater system (domestic and whole house hydronic heating on one boiler), and gave us a seasonal maintenance update, and the work was well-done, well-explained and completed quickly. We are planning to sign up for an annual service contract with them because we are so pleased with the result.
Johnny Soto was our technician and he was AWESOME!!! He quickly diagnosed and remedied the issue while explaining everything clearing along the way. He was upbeat and energetic, super nice and a pleasure to deal with. We were hot and now we are cold. :) We would definitely recommend Johnny from R+R!!!

Jonathan Soto arrived at our home for our first heating check by R&R Mechanical. Weve been using Ramon and Rosa for years. Theyre the only HVAC company we trust, hands down. They know what theyre doing and are super responsive. Youd be crazy to go elsewhere, in my humble opinion.
Why is zero not an option? These people are a joke. NEVER hire them. I have wasted two full days of my life waiting for a service member to actually just show up and shockingly just do their job. Each appointment there was an excuse as to why they were late or wouldn’t make it. Then the secretary or office manager calls me and gets an attitude with me when I’m hesitant to reschedule. I would NOT recommend this company at all. You will either sweat to death or die from frost bite before they even honor the appointment that they scheduled. Zero stars.
The technician was very thorough, professional and respectful of the space. The attention to detail was such that he had a mini vacuum to clean after any dirt or dust he might have created from installing the new thermostat or during the boiler maintenance.
Superbly done job.. Mr. John Soto is an expert at his work, completely knowledgeable, quick, efficient, innovative. It doesnt get any better than this. Prompt diagnosis, totally arranged the replacement, handled the warranty issue, obtained the correct replacement and the sensing equipment I requested. Additionally, the office--Vicki & Rosa are totally versed in the business, know exactly what is needed, can answer all of your questions without having to ask someone else. Plus, email updates, phone updates. John needs a promotion and a raise.
Armondo was fabulous. Very thorough. The placement of our units made the work much more difficult but he figured it out and did a great job. Never complained about the extra work. Made sure he left everything clean. Thank you Armondo!

Very reliably show up when scheduled and call ahead if they will be a bit early or late. Had an elusive problem with the heater in dead winter and they came back several times till it was diagnosed and fixed with no problems getting them to come back.

2022-04-10Such a pleasant experience with Carlos, Juan and Andrew. They were extremely courteous, even so much as to work quietly while my 8 month old went down for naps. They installed two mini split units and worked efficiently to finish it in a couple days. Super professional, and most importantly they did quality work.Highly recommend!

2022-05-12Very happy with the install of 4 units. The team was very professional and efficient. My home was left clean and tidy. Plastic drapes were used to keep dust from getting on my furniture. Floors were even cleaned where the work was done.

They were not only the most affordable, but also the most accommodating and informative. 2022-06-17Update: used again and Ramon provided great service for maintenance on 2 mini split units.The team at R&R were great - had an issue with a Mitsubishi mini split unit not heating and possible leak and the team came out, assessed, and then were able to schedule service for 2 days later to repair and get everything up and running.Technician Armando was professional and respectful of the space. Will definitely use them for ongoing maintenance.
