Walked on you Kia lot today no sales person approached..so I went inside to inquire..Young man asleep in cubical...I ask if he was sales person he said yeah...I said the man with me was looking for a car to purchase...he oh ok..I waited he sat back down I said ahh are u interested in selling any cars again yeah..well I said we are going to look he said carry-on..needless to say he showed no interest in selling interest a car..so we went to another dealer oh..and bought a car today..your loss sorry ..Young man was not interested in our business
A great experience in car buying. I picked up my new F150 and traded in an older truck, for which they gave me a very fair trade in value. Keith, my sales guy was responsive and most importantly not pushy at all. I felt zero pressure to buy from him, and I appreciate a salesman who will let me ask question rather than try to convince me of what I should want. I was a bit torn between the f150 and a Ram and so far I am very pleased with the F150. The finance guy was very helpful through the process and knowledgeable about the finance products they offer. I can say if you are going to check out a new ford or Kia - hit up Ron Lewis Ford and ASK for Keith.
I will never go to another car dealership. A few weeks after I got my car there was a problem with it and one of the sales managers was incredible they took care of everything even though it wasn’t covered under my warranty and the customer service skills and just customer appreciation a Ron Lewis is fantastic I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking to buy a car new or used
Found a pre-owned F150 I liked on their website but it was marked call for price. I hit the request more info button, entered my contact info, asked about the price and SPECIFICALLY included a note to contact me via email only, as I usually cannot answer my phone. Within 5 minutes, I got an automated email acknowledging my request for info that had a phone number to call (but didnt mention the price), then someone called me (which I wasnt in a position to answer) and left a long-winded voice-mail, in which they never once mentioned the price. Then I received an automated follow-up email since I didnt answer (still no price). Today I received another automated follow-up (still no price). Your team clearly doesnt read those request for info notes, and/or if they do theyre incapable of following them. My guess is you dont want to put a price in writing because youre constantly adjusting it due to the market, which is fishy. Not that I have any interest in doing business with anyone who cant read basic instructions, but out of curiosity, I went on the Ron Lewis Automitive parent company website and it had the price listed 😂
Although it took a couple of weeks to get everything done and the parts in I was very satisfied with the way it was handled Brandon one of the service managers kept me informed and called when he said he would call also he came and picked up the car and brought it back kudos to Ron Lewis Ford
Ive purchased 2 cars from this dealership. My first in December of 2019, no problems at all. I dont haggle so it was a smooth transaction. My second car however not so fantastic. I purchased it in August of 2020, once again no haggling so a fairly smooth transaction . However I was promised an extra key for the vehicle and never received one. After a few months of being given the runaround (January now) I was contacted and apologized to and told the salesman I dealt with no longer worked there and they would make the situation right. I was told to bring the vehicle to them and they would have a key made for me the following day.. I go the following day to pick up the car and key only to be told that the key was on back order and they would have their key guy come to my home and program the key once it became available. Well in July of 2021 I took it upon myself to call another Kia dealership and was told they had a key in stock and could have it programmed without a problem. I paid out of pocket for both the key and the programming for a total of $335.50. Ive contacted the dealership and the corporate office about being reimbursed since I was promised a spare key but its now mid August and no reply from either.. This is not how you treat customers, especially return customers. Very disappointed.......
I originally left a 5 star review. The customer service of the service staff was phenomenal. They answered all my questions and got the job done on my car quickly. I had my car back less than a week and it seems that the problem wasn’t fixed at all. I had a pretty bad oil leak, and they claimed to have fixed it, but I am still seeing oil pooling up under my car, as well as a burning smell and parts of my car hanging down underneath. Will be giving them a call to hopefully get this resolved quickly, as having my car in working function is a dire necessity.
This was the easiest car buying process I have ever gone through. James, Dalton, and Scott got everything right for me. James was great on working the numbers to get them where we wanted them. Dalton was super knowledgeable on the vehicle we were purchasing. Scott also helped us get the numbers where we needed them. I 100% will be returning to purchase another vehicle from them when the time comes. I would definitely recommend to a friend.
Service was fast and great! Took my truck in for its first oil change, and the cruise control wasn’t working. They found it was just a loose connector, possibly from when I installed my leveling kit, and fixed it right up under warranty! Good service and good people!!
Don and Tom were great to work with. They were both very responsive in working a deal out and answering all my questions. One of the best car buying experiences I’ve ever had. I was in and out of the dealership within an hour. Highly recommend Ron Lewis Ford to anyone!
Saw a car on their website that interested us, so stopped in this afternoon. Never owned a Kia, but took it for a test drive. Hubby drove it and loved it. Went back to the dealership, told Keith we wanted it, and in less than 2 hours, drove home in our brand new 2022 Kia Seltos, with 10 year, bumper to bumper warranty, completely undercoated and with Teflon coating on the paint. Because of our excellent credit we were able to get a great deal with affordable monthly payments. Completely happy with the deal. James got all the paperwork done in a timely manner, and if we have any questions or issues we can contact either Keith or James anytime. Happy, happy!!
Called and asked for pictures of a truck on 8/24 in the morning, the sales guy never bothered to call me back nor did he send any pictures, then I called back on same day around 6:45pm and receptionist took my information since everyone was busy and said they would call me back, well still never got a call back, Terrible service and lack of concern all around from these guys. Dont usually leave reviews, but service as of late anywhere is just horrible.
Worst experience ever! There are honorable & honest car dealers, but Rob Lewis Ford isnt one of them. I shouldve learned the first time when visiting Ron Lewis Ford in 2018. I made an appointment sales representative James Lasky of Ron Lewis Ford to purchase my leased Ford F-150 & was told by this very shady salesman that I was to pay a disposition fee of $500 to purchase my F-150 & that it was in my contract; I disagreed with James as I knew the contract well. After James discussed this with his Sales Manager, he then agreed with me that it was never in my contract, but then told me that Ron Lewis Ford would still charge me a $500 processing fee. I then said to James Lasky that I was leaving & would never return!I then made arrangements with Shults Ford in Wexford to purchase my leased Ford F-150 without issues along with any of the undermining sleazy salesmanship that James Lasky exemplified, as Shults Ford was honest to the core. I am now a lifetime customer of Shults Ford for the honesty of honoring a long time Ford Customer!Posted by Robert CarolaShame on you Ron Lewis Ford!
I never write reviews but my experience with Ron Lewis Ford has been so negative that I feel the need to say something. This review refers to the service department and management, not the Sales Team. I took my Ford Fusion in for a service repair the first week of May to replace the Hydraulic Control Unit, meaning that my car operates at 50% braking power. When I made the appointment a month prior, I was assured that they will have the service parts in stock and repair my vehicle in one day. When I picked up my vehicle the next day, I was told that they did not have the part in stock but they repaired another issue that they found. They gave me an appointment for the next week and assured me that the parts will come. They call me the next week confirming that they have the part so I come and drop my car off, only to receive it the next day with no work being done. Surprise, they didnt have the part. Talking to the service crew was vague, they seemed confused as to why I was told multiple times they had a part thats not in stock. Talking to the service manager provided some background, my car needed to fail a test for them to order a new unit. Fast forward THREE months to today and I get a call from Ron Lewis that the part is finally in and to schedule an appointment. I called back minutes later and the employees answering the phones at Ron Lewis were clueless. They had no idea what I was calling about or which employee even called me (I called the number that called me and left a voicemail directly). After being transferred to 3 different departments who were all clueless, they had me leave a voicemail which I doubt they will listen to. Im sure the quality of mechanical work is excellent, however, the communication is extremely poor. How does management run a business where no one has any idea of what is going on? Everyone you talk to will give you a different answer. There is no communication between employees, let alone departments. They are clearly very disorganized, I have no idea how they run their business. Restructuring management and communications would make the difference between a one star dealership and a five star dealership. The employees are nice, I want to like the dealership, but I have never witnessed such a failure of communication.
Friendly staff. Terrible for service. My explorer has been in 4 times for the same issues. Fixed for a week then breaks again. This past time, we had an appointment on a Monday morning. They were told 3 different times we needed it by Friday. Wednesday when I called, still never looked at it. So frustrating.
I hauled my F-150 on December 7th to be serviced after dealing with some electrical issues. The truck was far from being in perfect condition but prior to this it ran well. After approximately 6 weeks I picked up my truck and made it 8 out of 10 miles from the dealer to my house before my truck quit running. I was never offered a tow truck for my causes, but managed to get the vehicle back to the garage. After more than 6 months at their service department and little to no communication with the staff unless I engaged first I finally got my truck back. I When I went to pick it up the second time I was assured it was they had road tested it for 20 miles. My engine had lost a significant amount of power to the point I couldn’t make it up 11th street hill, and the engine is now missing as well. If the service department didn’t feel comfortable working on my vehicle I would have felt more comfortable with that being relayed to me instead of the nightmare I had to endure.
The quality of work i will not slander but they will work you on the bill. 20$ coolant $110.00 labor fee. I didnt ask but he took the liberty and felt he should be paid 110.00 to do it plus 20 for the coolant. 1,800 for a water pump replacement no i didnt let them rob me and only had them fix a starter relay issue. 189.00 that somehow became 303.00 when i went to pick the car up. This after he waived the initial 100$+ diagnosis fee that they charge for every issue they even have to look at even if you choose not to have it repaired. He quoted me 189.00 final cost until our 3rd talk when he said i forget to add the fee but i will waive it since your coming back to have the pump fixed after getting other quotes 1000 less on average and seeing how he tried to work back in the 100+ after waiving it made it clear to me theyre not the ones for me. To the credit of upper management they seemed concerned and asked was i satisfied with the resolution. I ended up paying 210.00 on the so 189.00 bill and got my vehicle out of their hands.
Disappointed! I called to schedule recall work, emissions and inspection. Service verified recall parts were in stock and scheduled a Saturday repair with 8am drop off. I dropped off my car Friday afternoon. Service employee took my keys, confirmed the work to be completed and I left. I did not receive a call Saturday that car was complete. I called the dealership to find car not complete. I asked why I wasnt updated. Receptionist could not answer and service had gone for the day. I requested a phone call from service first thing Monday morning. Service department at dealership called 7:30am Monday and stated they were informed I was upset Saturday then stated that they did not know why I was calling as they did mot have my car and that I had not scheduled service. I was late for work Monday morning because I found it necessary to drive to the dealership at 8am instead. I verified my car was parked where I left it on Friday. After a short search my keys and work order were found. I requested phone calls to update me on the progress of the car. Instead I received two text messages. I do not know if this is policy but it is ridiculous, considering for two days they had my car for an appointment that they scheduled and took my keys for then did not complete. It was very difficult finding someone to transport me back to the dealership to retrieve my car once it was completed on Monday. This was not an issue on the previous Saturday when the car was to be completed. Very disappointed!
Tried to gouge me for 1,000 over any other dealership. Was going to charge me 216 bucks for a hundred dollar control arm. Did the extra hundred on all the parts. When we asked to speak to a manager they said they didnt have a manager. Wish I could give negative stars.
Had an extremely efficient and pleasant experience working with Anthony and Dave at Ron Lewis Ford. We handled almost everything virtually, which allowed for a quick turn around time once having go go to dealership. They were very helpful and accommodating to my every need/ask. I would highly recommend.
We really enjoy Ron Lewis Ford in Beaver Falls. They came and picked up our car and dropped it off for us. The drivers were so incredibly kind and courteous. The older gentleman was so sweet. There was a young man who came with him who was so courteous and respectful. Very impressed by these two. We hope to use this soon with our next purchase.
Our time is valuable. I found a Ford Escape online that I was interested in. It was last years model but still new. I called to verify that it was new and available. I made an appointment to come down to see it. After my husband worked 12 hours we went to Ron Lewis as scheduled. The salesman, who knew I was coming, informed me that the Esacpe was loaned out to someone that was getting service. I cant even remember the salesmans name....he made a minimal impression. He made ZERO effort to sell us a car. I mean ZERO! Didnt show us ANY cars, didnt follow up. Were we not dressed spiffy enough or what? Lol.We went over to the Beaver County Jeep dealership in Chippewa the next day and bought an awesome Renegade. Damien Southwick, our Jeep salesman, was super happy to have our business and worked around our busy schedule. Im so happy that the Ron Lewis dealership treated us as if we werent a priority. Thanks to their poor service we now own a 2021 Jeep Renegade Latitude that we absolutely love.
Our experience was wonderful! We felt no pressure and the sales team did everything they could to ensure we got the vehicle we wanted. Our whole family has purchased vehicles from Ron Lewis in Beaver Falls for years. We’ve always been treated with respect and kindness. If there was a problem with a vehicle it was addressed. The new showroom is beautiful and has a very comfortable area with coffee/tea to sit and wait if your vehicle is being serviced. We have always felt we were being well cared for from start to finish. Like family. We would never go anywhere else.
Nearly my entire purchase was conducted remotely. Bruce Letta was a very helpful salesperson who was always responsive, even on his day off and after the sale. The only reason I deducted one star is due to the closing person not explaining documents thoroughly. I had to look closely myself to see the trade in allowance, payment, etc. The only thing he explained was where to sign on each document.
The Bluetooth in my Ford Fusion wasn’t working right so I took it to Ron Lewis Ford as I figured it was something that a dealership would know how to fix. I made an appointment that was like a week away from the day I made it. I now know why they were a little backed up cause they’re awesome. They told me it would be a minimum $105 to take a look at it so I really hoped they were able to fix it. They WERE able to fix it (same day) and only charged me $35. Good, quick, affordable. If you’re having trouble with your Ford... I would definitely recommend Ron Lewis Ford to help you out!!!
This has to be the smoothest transaction I have ever made with any large purchase, let alone a car. In the past I have spent HOURS at a car dealership, leaving feeling exhausted and at some point disappointment in the process or people. My trip to Ron Lewis in Beaver Falls was exceptional! I dealt with Dave the entire time and he was prepared for my arrival with a clean car (they put it to the side for me) and had a detailed route which would highlight both the pros and cons of the vehicle. He was was extremely knowledge, resourceful, honest, down to earth, and kind. Dave’s service manager (sorry his name is escaping me) was also a 10/10 for me. The car I was looking at changed in price and he honored the original price when he didn’t have to. I love my car, the features within the car, and all the deals Dave and his manager could add on. I was so surprised after I had left (happy) that from start to finish I was only there for TWO HOURS!!! I swear that needs to go into the Guinness Book of World Records (lol). From now on I will drive out of my way to buy future vehicles from this dealership and I will absolutely boast about them to my friends and family. If you are looking for a great dealership and guys to work with please take my advice and try them out! Work with Dave and you WONT be disappointed!! Thanks guys from Ron Lewis in Beaver Falls you made my day and year!!!
Good down to earth people, thank you to David H, Dave B and James, I did not feel the typical car sales man experience, there generosity and care for what there customers are paying for is unmatched anywhere else. James is one of the best sales people I’ve ever met. Coming from someone in sales too, I judge kind of harshly. Thank you all, love the car, they also got me the payment I wanted as well!
Update 2 - The Ron Lewis Ford Service Manager has been in contact regarding my feedback and apologized for my experience. Increasing to 3 stars from 1 star for that conversation.Update - No one from Ron Lewis reached out regarding my feedback... despite the owner response comments.I wish I could give a higher rating but my experience with the Service Department was an utter disappointment.Vehicle was in on warranty work for 57 days. During that time I rarely received an update call nor a commitment on timing. It was clear that warranty work was the absolute last priority here.My extended warranty covered upgraded rental but when asked it took 3 tries to get a loaner offered.Parts were in around the three week mark however it still took an additional month to get it done. Finally I asked about escalating and was told it would be done by the Friday at the latest... mid the following week I got the call it was ready.I called to say I was on my way and asked for my car to be ready and got there to find it covered in 6 inches of snow. The poor new cars sales manager had to come out to clear it.
I have worked with two other area Ford dealers getting my 2013 Escape serviced. Ron Lewis is far better than the other folks. I made an appointment for state inspection on short notice. They were still able to accommodate me, finished the inspection that day. Their service department is open later than the other places, and they work Saturdays too.
I bought my 2018 Ford Fusion here. The car was used as a courtesy car for people getting service done. I love the car but right as I signed the paperwork. They said the owners manual is missing and they would find me one. Over a year later no owners manual. So going forward I will not purchase another vehicle here. They knew it was missing but didnt say anything until after I purchased the vehicle. I will not recommend or purchase another vehicle here.
Got the first new Bronco around- all thanks to Dalton Hartle! He knew everything there is to know about the new Bronco and was a pleasure to work with. Everyone at the dealership was super helpful and very professional. We had a great experience buying our first Ford!
I’m normally very pleased with the service I receive at this dealership but this time was not the case. I dropped my car off for its yearly inspection and when I received the phone call that it was done I was told that my car failed inspection due to damage on my front bumper. The damage (very minor) they were referring to has been there for the last 5 years and had never been a problem for me before. I’ve gotten my inspections done there every year except one since I got the car in 2014. The customer service rep (Crystal) informed me that someone else inspected my car last year and situations like mine are up to the discretion of the inspector (which I don’t think is fair). I asked her to please inform the current inspector that the bumper had never caused a problem. When she called back nothing had changed. For my front bumper to be a problem all of sudden I believe they noticed my payments are almost over for my current car and want me to buy another one. With everything going on surrounding COVID-19, now is a terrible time to try to push people into a new vehicle. I’m not a very happy customer at the moment.
I just did a sign and drive for my 3rd vehicle. 2020 Kia Forte. Same person I did business with James Lasky. Again he was super awesome and made the whole experience quick, no stress and easy. He is super friendly and really cares about the people he serves. Any time I’ve had an issue it was quickly dealt with. Thank you again.
Left my car in morning with instructions, at 7:30. I had to get a my key removed and when I came after school at 3:30 when my appointment was at 8. It still was sitting there it finnaly got done at 5. When that’s a 5-10 min job then charged 50$ for 5 min worth a work. The my key is on every new Ford and they force u to pay 50$ to take 5 mins. It came out to be 60$. 50$ For labor for one person. 5$ for equipment when u plug in a thing into a consol and click remove. I wouldn’t recommend Ron and lewis there overpriced and will f**k you over for money. Go some where else
Great experience. The salesman Dalton was a pleasure to work with. He was very knowledgeable, efficient, and understanding of our needs. He made sure we got in a vehicle that fit what we needed and what we could afford. I would definitely recommend going here if you are in the market for a new or used vehicle.
The Ron Lewis Ford sales team has always dealt with me with great integrity, so they managed to keep my business for many years. However, the service department has been atrocious over the past couple of years, resulting in my needing to find another dealership. The engine in my mustang needed to be replaced, and their service department kept assuring me that nothing was wrong, over 6 visits!! It took only 2 hours on one visit at another Ford dealership to identify the scoring on the cylinder walls and spot the head gasket leak. Im very disappointed.Update: Ive upgraded them from 2 to 4 Stars because Ron Lewis made things right once they read my initial review and have me a discount on another major service and have revamped the organization of the service department.
I called to get some prices on a possible new F-150 with a trade in. The salesman I spoke with from the very start had me on speakerphone with a lot of background noise, seem like I was interrupting his day and was condescending. They may want to teach their sales people how to speak to customers over the phone.
On 03/19/20 I took my truck 08 Ford Expedition to Lewis Ford, didn’t have no appointment, they were able to fit me in before the day was over, had a check engine light come on and I was experiencing misfire while driving and cranking my truck. A kudos to Wayne the service tech who found a broke spark plug on the eight cylinder, had all spark change, and he recommended a BG GAS ENGINE PERFORMANCE Service, I was skeptical because I thought it was another way to get money, however to my knowledge this service was a service i truly needed, because with the 5.4 3V engine and it’s problem, I was experiencing valve ticking noise which I thought was the roller followers, this service which cleans lines, stop the ticking that was so annoying to me, truck runs quiet and a like sewing machine, so as a traveler working here from south, I will continue take my truck to Ron Lewis Ford for any future services
I took my 2004 Expedition, Eddie Bauer edition to Ron Lewis when it developed an overcharge condition. They had the vehicle for 4 business days but only worked on it for 2 of those days. The diagnosis was a bad connection at the PCM.I felt very fortunate they were able to fix my 16 year old Expedition. The cost was very reasonable and I havent had a repeat of the condition since. I would have given them 5 stars if they hadnt left the vehicle untouched for 2 days knowing I was broken down on a trip.
Took my truck for inspection and recall update. I dropped it off in the morning and the hit all of the recalls that they had parts for and asked to keep the truck an extra day and needed to order some parts to address the recall. Communication was great along with the service! Highly recommended!Jim
I had my Kia Optima towedTo Ton Lewis because of engine problems. Even though the car was out of the 100,000/pa year warranty, they looked up if any recalls had occurred, and I ended up being eligible for a free engine. The work was done in a timely manner. Very happy with my experience.
I have visited Ron Lewis Ford for service on many occasions and have been very satisfied every time. The service and parts departments have exceeded my expectations and completed my vehicle repair with respect, punctuality, value and honesty. On this visit Crystal Spreng assisted me in the service department and Bruce Campbell was the technician. Crystal and Bruce both went above and beyond with the servicing of my vehicle. I am very happy with the staff at Ron Lewis Ford and will definitely be a return customer.
By far worst experience at a dealership. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST!!! THE ONLY REASON THEY HAVE POSITIVE REVIEWS IS BECAUSE THEY ASK EVERYONE WHO LEAVES A NEGATIVE REVIEW TO REMOVE IT!!! I left a bad review after my third bad experience with them and they called me and asked me if I could please remove it if they make the situation right. I did end up removing it when I got my loaner car. I have had 4 different experiences with Ron Lewis Ford Service and not one was a pleasant seamless experience. I couldnt even get an inspection done on my car without them attempting to over charge me!If you ever have to leave your car and expect to get a loaner right away think again. Just be expected to have them make you wait 3-4 days before they offer you a car to drive while you wait for yours. Even though Ford tells you when you buy the car if you have to leave it for longer than 24 hours they will make sure you have a loaner. Most recently I took my car in to get my door locks fixed. Of course, they dont have the part and told me they would call to bring it back in when the part comes in. They said they would have it in a couple days. Guess what? Here we are 3 weeks later, nobody ever called me.I have not talked to one person that lives local to this dealership that has had good experiences with them. Just beware! This dealership is the reason I will never buy a Ford again. Ford can thank them for ruining a happy customers experience with Ford.Go to another Ford dealership if you have the option to!
Absolutely horrible place to buy a vehicle. Sales staff were very friendly and “helpful” but they forced me to buy an extended warranty because they knew I used my vehicle for work. Then they refused to honor the warranty when my transmission went because they said I voided the warranty by using it for work. They lie to make a sale and have no regard for the consequences the customer faces due to their actions. I DEFINITELY DO NOT recommend them at all!!
Easy to schedule and was able to drop off the night before. Recieved a text to approve all work that was needed per the inspection, that part was awesome. Once completed recieved a pick up text. Cost was inline with what I would have paid elsewhere. Paper mat and seat plastic was used inside. Very happy with my service.
Wish i could give no stars. We were insulted to say the least! The salesman had no idea what he was doing. He never went over the car with me or explained any features of the suv. He never asked for a drives license for the test drive. I told him no money down did not listen. Not only did he not go over the car or its features i told him what the other dealership offered me for my car they came back way under. Told me it fluctuates each day. I know thats is a lie, i know someone who sold cars. Go somewhere other then here! Anywhere would be better then this joke of a dealership! I have never had a worse experience then this place. This was just sad experience to say the least
Took car in for 40000 mile service, the works oil change and state inspection. Additional cost of an air filter replacement. Cost came in about as expected. Shuttle service a big plus.Probably could get work done elsewhere cheaper, but this place is thorough and professional. I would go back.
I have always been extremely satisfied with the service at Ron Lewis Kia. The staff is friendly and courteous. The work they perform on my Optima is very thorough and quick. I continue to take my car there because the service department is knowledgeable and trustworthy.
Ron Lewis Ford in Beaver Falls took care of a recall on my Ford Escape recently. Scheduling the appointment was easy and they got my vehicle in very quickly. They offer a shuttle service that took me to work which was very helpful! Everyone from Robin to Nick, Mike and Bruce were very pleasant and helpful! I plan on using Ron Lewis for any future service needs!
Recently worked with Chad Parker on the lease of an F-150. He was quick, responsive and helpful from the very first interaction. I have a very busy schedule, and he was able to work out a bunch of the details with me via text so that once I got to the dealership almost everything was already complete. His down-to-earth personality and excitement made the entire process fun and simple.I couldnt have asked for a better experience, it was perfect from all involved.
They took care of my Coolant recall timely. However they came back telling me I needed oil change without looking at Sticker that clearly indicated I had over 1000miles left before next one. Also said needed tires rotated which was done at my last inspection in September of 2019. They looked at last time it was inspectes there in 2018 and didnt look my inspection Sticker which again clearly indicated it was inspected in.2019. Dont get car inspected or oil change anymore because prices higher than going to reputable Garage. When I purchased my car there that my Auto inspection was free however got charged for emissions which is part of PA inspection. ???
We wanted to personally thank Grant and the Ron Lewis Ford team for a superb experience. I have to admit, I hate car shopping and highly dislike talking to most salesmen. I’m usually told what I like and what I need. But Grant took the time to listen to what we were looking for. I was direct with what we wanted and the terms that we needed to take the car home, and Grant and his team were able to meet us where we needed to be. They didn’t just tell me it’s just another payment. (Our personal financial goal is to pay off the car as quick as possible, not draw out our payment terms.) They were able to help us meet our price goal. They were also quick and able to take care of all the paper work and handle the trade in and transfer of everything without hassle! It was a great experience through and through! Thank you! We greatly appreciate the help finding a new family vehicle! The Chamberlains
Took my truck in for a standard yearly inspection and emissions. A service technician found an issue that was covered under warranty. The team at Ron Lewis immediately notified me of the issue and got a rental car set up for me while they ordered necessary parts and completed the work. They made this situation MUCH less of a convenience. Loved the service I got. I will be going back to them with all my auto needs.
We traded in our vehicle for a Taurus from Ron Lewis last month. When we went to have it inspected in WV, where we live, it failed inspection because the rear shocks were bad/leaking. To say I am disappointed would be a gross understatement.I’ll never go back there again, and I most certainly do not recommend any dealership or sales team that would advertise a car for sale, allow test drives on, and then sell a vehicle that was not fit to pass inspection.
Ron Lewis has been selling and servicing my new and used vehicles for about 10 years and typically are helpful and pleasant to deal with. They have quick service. Currently things appear to be a mess since they are remodeling but dont let that fool you they are still the same great service department.
Stopped in to get Pa inspection and Air Conditioner problem identified. I was told that I needed a new shock and they did not have any in stock for my vehicle 2015 Ford Focus. I was required to pay for it and was told that I would be called on Monday or Tuesday when it came in. I had some words with the salesman about the AC issue. So when Wednesday arrived and still no contact, I called was placed on hold and was told that they had the part. No apology was offered for not informing that the part had arrived. I dont know how long I would of waited to be told that the dealer could finish my inspection. I have the feeling that the dealer rep would never of called me. Still waiting on recall issue to be taken care of also. live and learn
I leased a 2018 Ford F-150 xlt sport. Ron Lewis ford in beaver falls sales department made my experience a great one. My sales rep was very knowledgeable about the f150 trucks and explained all features to me. Was very surprised to see the general manager on the floor and not hiding on a office in the back. I highly recommend this dealership to all you wont regret it. Also the place was very clean
My husband Justin and I have purchased our used vehicles from Ron Lewis over the last 14 years. This year we were in the market for a new truck. We were very specific on what we wanted. Joby, Adam and their crew went above and beyond to get us what we wanted and on the deadline we gave them.Thank you guys so much! You made the process so easy. We love our new truck and have had so many complements..passing along the contact information each and every time.
I had a very long explanation of my experience but my browser refreshed and I lost everything I typed. Long story short, I would like an opportunity for the manager to contact me to know all the details. 17 days to repair the radio. Made it seem that it was my fault that I didnt inform the representative about my warranty even though the car has 50k miles on it and standard warranties go to 60k and I actually purchased a 125k warranty. Numerous promises of calling the next day with no contact being made. If it wasnt for Nick going above and beyond to correct his co-workers mistake, I would not come back to the dealership. Over promising and under delivering will get you a 1 star review everytime.
Started out wonderful!!! super friendly and happy to help. Then received a strange call blaming my battery and wanting me to by a new one over the phone. Mind u They drive the car there.... they had to program the recall (without) the car running)......so it drained the battery. Not my issueThen after extensive conversations, the worker did something I asked them Not to Twice and then Charged me for it.After a few days of My work to Correct things I got refunded.I really wish to someday find an Honest dealership
Good people working there but my tire still leaks air. Update: Come to find out my rims are old af and they are rusted and corroded inside. I took them back to where I got my tires and they fixed them, but I might need new rims before too long. Thanks Art for getting back to me and again, great people at Ron Lewis, always happy to help you out!
This was the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a car dealership!!! The salesman we had felt free to open up about his wife having an affair, fell asleep and was snoring while waiting for the bank approval, told us and showed pictures of the man his wife left him for. Also advised us that his wife doesnt take care of their 8 year old...shall I continue? Just an awful experience! Needless to say I walked out without buying a car due to this. Me and my child did not need to hear any of this!
My salesperson Jeff went over and above to help me get into the vehicle that I wanted. We were working against a time crunch and he was very helpful. I also want to add that the gentleman who was working the finances also went above and beyond helping me to complete the sale (unfortunately I forgot his name). Even with all of the uncertainty that is happening right now, everyone made this a smooth process.
I called the dealership at 8:30am after having blown out a tire the day before. I spoke to Nick who said they had a replacement to match for my Ford Focus and said that they could get me in that very morning. I was in and out in less than an hour, AND they washed & vacuumed my car for me.Great Job!
Recently we took our car in to have the brakes checked. We were surprised to find the problem was worse than we anticipated , so was the estimate . We explained that we were planning on trading in the car soon and didnt want to put a lot of money into it . They said they would check to see if it was possible that the repairs would be covered by the warranty , it would involve making some phone calls and they would get back to us.Later that day , they called and said the repairs would be covered , so we made an appointment to have the work done. When we took car in we had planned for a ride home, but the service department volunteered to furnish a courtesy car, which was much easier and appreciated . We took advantage of the courtesy car and went home. When repairs were completed they called us and we returned to pick up our car.We were very impressed with the way things were handled from start to finish , the courtesy and professionalism by the service department was *****.Thank you , we would not hesitate to return for future service or to recommend you to others.
This Ford dealership was just awesome to me, they worked diligently to sell me a car but also to get my payment where it had to be where I am on a fixed income. It took them a couple hours which I didn’t care but they got the figures down right where I needed it to be so now I’m Driving a 2016 focus hatchback with only 22,000 miles on it I am a happy camper if you were looking for a great deal and great people to deal with go to Vann Lewis driving a 2016 focus hatchback with only 22,000 miles on I am a happy camper if you were looking for a great deal and great people to deal with go to Ron Lewis Ford in beaver Falls Pennsylvania and look up Justin. Thanks again guys you don’t know how much I appreciate it god bless this company
I bought a used truck that was inspected by Ron lewis ford. I drove it 2900 miles, took it in for an oil change and they told me it needed front brakes. They did the state inspection and said the brakes had worn 4/32 in 2900 miles. Think about that 2900 miles and I needed front brakes on a truck that was just inspected by them. They will not put brakes on my truck! I talked to a mechanic and they said surface rust on the rotors would not wear the brakes that fast.Thats theyre story and theyre sticking to it!what a shame!Dealer just called and said they will take care of it. Have an appointment next Thursday. Mike the service manager called back right back and worked it out. He was very pleasant about the whole matter. If they do take care of this, I will buy a vehicle here again. I just want someone who is willing to stand behind what they sell.Just got back from the dealership, they took care of me. They replaced through rotors, which werent bad, they werent pitted at all. But they still replaced them. They replaced the brakes too. Nice to see that this was made right!
I scheduled an appointment on Monday, for Wednesday at 12, went and looked at a few other Ford dealerships, and didnt find a price I was okay with, so I called Wednesday morning and asked to come in earlier and Chris LaDuke took me and my family in first thing in the morning and made us feel very comfortable and appreciated. He is an amazing sales person, and I would also like to say their finance manager is also just as great. Went in that day, and brought the car home that day, for an awesome price! I have never met a better sales team. Props to them!!Edit: I wanted a better version of the car I recently bought, there was none in pa that matched the description I wanted, and the price. But Chris Laduke once again went out of his way to get me what I wanted. Ive never met better people. Kudos to you guys!
Made getting rid of my trade in a lot easier thank expected plus gave me WAY more than KBB value and got me in a brand new car. Dave and dalton were great. Dave got me a low interest rate and they both stayed almost 5 hours after closing to wait for me to get off work and work out a deal that fit my budget.
Im a Texan living in Pennsylvania and my truck needed its defroster and A/C repaired so I searched around for a Ford dealer in my area and found Ron Lewis Ford. I read the reviews on the establishment and saw many stars so I scheduled an appointment to get my chariot repaired and ready for my first PA winter. The process took a bit longer than I expected but when the entire dash had to be removed I instantly understood why. When I got the truck back everything worked like it did when I drove it off the lot on July 2, 2012. Thank you Ron Lewis for taking the time to perform such an intricate and painstaking job on my sole source transportation.
Worst service Ive ever seen from a dealership. They informed my rear end would take 10 days to replace. 7 days into the 10 days I called to verify the truck would be ready. They told me they hadnt received the parts to repair the truck and had no clue when they would arrive. I called back the next week to get an update since no one called me and they still had no clue and told me Ford couldnt tell them when they were getting it. Day 25 I called again and the service tech said hes not sure why they hadnt received the parts I asked to be transferred to parts and they guy said let me double check my email to see if theres been an update. Sure enough FORD had sent him an email that the service center would have to rebuild the rear differential. He then said he had no clue how long thatd take but he would get with his mechanic and get back to me. He never called me back, a week later I personally stopped in and they said they were waiting on bearings and I asked him to double check and sure enough they were there!!! No sense of urgency or personal care shown throughout the entire process. 32 days later I got my truck back. I would never go there again.
Dropped my car off because the passenger door handle fell off out of nowhere. They said it would be done, that was a Monday. Tuesday rolls around, they said the part they ordered on Monday came in, and that the body shop would paint it (Ruby Red) and they would be able to install it. Tuesday evening rolls around and the body shop STILL hadnt painted it. I needed a car to drive myself to work the next day, so they offered me the only vehicle they had which was an F150.. well I cant drive a truck. So she said shed call me back. In the meantime, I was able to find a ride to work. When she called me back, magically they were able to find an Escape. I didnt take it. The next day they finally were able to get me my car... $209.00 later, they took off some money for the labor, but they had my car for practically three days. Lately have been so disappointed with them. When I got my vehicle back, I told them my music from my phone to my car was skipping, I asked them to reset it. The guy takes my phone, the computer took FOREVER to come back up (like there was something wrong). When it finally came back on he hands me my phone back and says you can sync your phone up now... well I dont know how to do that. I dont understand why he couldnt have offered to help me and do it. After trying to sync my phone up, it is saying sync unsuccessful. No idea what to do at this point, but I refuse to go back there and have them help me.
My husband took his car here about 2 weeks ago. They fixed it appropriately and in a timely manner. Unfortunately he was told twice over the phone that the bill would be $400 and upon arrival to pay and pick up the car, the bill jumped to $600. The only explanation he received was they did a diagnostic on the car. Well why wasnt that included in the quoted price over the phone...not once but twice...?
This place is an absolute nightmare when attempting to purchase a vehicle. This is the second experience I have had with them and am supremely disappointed in myself for having given them an additional opportunity after the first debacle. Without delving too deeply into what occurred during the first transaction, I will basically provide the highlights. I was denied an appraisal number for multiple days. Per common practice, when I arrived for my appointment I handed the keys over to the sales consultant and watched as a sales manager assessed my automobile. I proceeded to wait patiently for over an hour and a half for his decision only to be informed that an appraisal on a vehicle cannot be provided without the General Manager being present. This is an unusual business practice for even the sleaziest of car dealerships. And to add extra insult to injury, I had to approach the same sales manager to find this out. I am curious to know how much longer I would have sat there before he would have let me know that I was leaving empty handed that day. A comment by the Finance Manager was also heard regarding how he hoped the deal would be put off until backup finance was there, as he wasnt going to make any money on the deal anyway. Now I will proceed to describe what happened with the most recent interaction. I was interested in another vehicle they had on their sales lot, so I made arrangements to have my potential trade vehicle appraised. My vehicle was brought to the Ford dealership prior to even opening for sales business. Needless to say, I was clearly first in line. Shortly after opening the sales team reached out to us to let us know that they were already working on getting the figures together for us. Over three hours went by before I was told that not only did they not have a number on my vehicle, but there was no ETA as the General Manager was again not available. Again, I was only provided this information after we reached out to them for an update. It was then communicated to me that two other customers had arrived at the dealership interested in the same vehicle. Without having been asked at what price we were willing to purchase the vehicle, what our down payment would be, having our credit ran, or even having our vehicle appraised, the day culminated in a sale to another customer. To summarize - I find this dealerships team of managers and their business tactics unprofessional, appalling, and the utter definition of greasy salesmanship. Not only will they never again have the opportunity to earn my patronage, I will make it a habit to educate others with regards to their business practices and treatment of clientele. I will also incorporate the names Chris Peterson and Patrick Kulp with every extensive critique.
Needed a simple inspection I paid $40 and was not completed. A few items needed addressed Brake shoes and axle seal. Tried get me to let them fix issues for over $600. I Had the services done by another credible mechanic for under $300. After all the business I have done with Ron Lewis I am appalled by this .
I just bought a vehicle here and everyone was very helpful and transparent throughout the entire purchasing process. All paperwork was explained thoroughly. Everyone showed kindness and answered all questions asked. They even filled up my car before I drove away with it. Overall, I was very impressed with the service and would recommend this dealer to anyone looking to buy a car in the future.
They tell you they can help you if you have bad credit. But what they dont tell you is they make it unaffordable. I lived an hour away from this place and I drove the whole way there only to find out they want 10 thousand dollars down. So the whole they can help people with bad credit is a lie
We are currently travelling from east to west coast. Our tire was flat when we went to leave our hotel. They had my tire in stock which is great since its a 19 tire. Also needed an oil change. They even washed the car after too. We spent no more than 2 hours here which was great. Nice people very helpful. Nice tv in the lounge to watch tv and read.
O man where do I begin! (I apologize for the lengthy review ) My husband and I ran into an issue with a ford focus we had purchased a few ago from Ford. fast forward to tonight I called several time regarding our car (its in the shop) just to see what was going on and do a possible trade in or to see what our options were as we have had it for 5 years and due for an upgrade. Dave the Manager in sales called me just to see what was going on and check on things and man was I glad he did. I cannot say a bad thing about this man (in my head i thought they were all sharks) he was the farthest from that!!! he went above and beyond for us and really worked with us through EVERYTHING! (we appreciate more than we could express to him) I had a price point in mind and could not budge but needed/wanted certain things as well ( not an easy case I can be a little tough to handle) No issue for him as he worked with us along with one of thier new guys to show us a car we were interested and finalize a few things and Dalton was awesome!! Super funny, kid friendly (they all are lol), down to earth and very knowledgeable! From start to finish it was a breeze did most things over the phone and online. All we had to do was come in test drive and sign. Slight negotiation was had and somehow DAVE waived his wand and worked his magic and got us in a newer car with a warranty we wanted for under budget! I said it! UNDER BUDGET. Once we said okayyyy it was time to sign our life away in the finance room (jk lol) and James was seriously the BEST as well he was so personable, honest and raw we adored him and it was smooth saling from there and we left with a new car and happy as a hippo. I cant thank this ford team enough.
Not real comfortable with my experience. Was told I needed an oil change when I knew the sticker said that it would be 2,000 miles before the next oil change was due. They said they mis-read the odometer... Said I needed rear pads and rotors among other things. I asked that they save all the old parts for me. They did not... I had to keep asking several times for the parts until I finally got them. Paid $290 for rotors that I could have bought for less than half (yeah I know Genuine Ford parts vs foreign...). Paid $66 for plugging a tire (I usually pay a third of that at the local tire shop). Not happy with what I paid for replacing tail lights. I guess in the future I should stick to going to the dealer for things that only the dealer can fix. All other repairs should go elsewhere.
I came in on an emergency basis without an appointment to have the battery replaced in my 2013 Escape. I had to have it jumped on Saturday while shopping (first indication of problem), immediately brought it home and parked in driveway. On Monday morning it barely started so I drove to the dealer without even making a call. They replaced the battery and it has been running just fine since. They were happy to take care of my car, even without an appointment and had me on my way in reasonable time.
I religiously take my Taurus in for routine service. Service folks are always pleasant and I always have a work station to utilize while I wait. And did you know that they provide a shuttle service, not just to take you wherever you need to go, but can arrange to pick up your Ford from your place of employment and take your vehicle back to you when finished!
Though our vehicle was not purchased at this location, we went here to have a light changed which was still under the Ford warranty. The Service department was absolutely wonderful. After noticing a tiny nick on the paint after they completed the job (and believe me it was barely noticeable), they went the extra mile and then some to make sure I was satisfied with the fix. Being a woman, I expected some run around, but this was not the case. They treated me with the upmost respect and it was a pleasure to do business with them. My husband was also completly satisfied and I will not hesitate to use them in the future. I highly recommed their Service Department. Thank you Ron Lewis Ford :-)
I was a first-time buyer on my own. My husband bought out cars. Ron Lewis made it easy and stress free. My. Agent Daltoni Hartle wemt thr extra mile.He brought me a car wil everything i wanted and more.He returned my rental to enterprise and I. Never had to leave my houseiSo thank you Ron Lewis and Dalton Hartle!!
They did an excellent job putting an engine in our 2012 Kia Sorento!! They charged over $1200 LESS than Taylor KIA in Boardman and their customer service was amazing!! We even bought the vehicle at Taylor KIA in Boardman! Will NEVER deal with Taylor ever again! We dealt with Liz and Jennifer and they were so courteous and diligent about returning our calls and answering all of our questions. Thank you to the great service department at Ron Lewis KIA!!
I had a statement on paper that gave to service desk.Maybe change fuel filter never been changedThey did not do that service or called to ask if I wanted it with a price.I am not satisfied with response about the thumping noise I stated when opening the drivers door or key in ignition. Stated operating normal, characteristic sound. No let see if we can look at it further, noise I feel related to fuel pump priming or called by my research truck asking up. Again no further response from service like I said.Rating service that day 1 being the lowest of 1 to 5.Very disappointed since iui have been a customer there since mid 80s.
Whether for service, auto body or sales, the staff at Ron Lewis Ford is top notch! They are not only professional and very competent, they are also a delight to communicate with and have never hesitated to go above and beyond to meet my needs and to predict my future needs. I feel no need to use another company for all my Ford needs.
Dont deal with Jon in the service department. He is ignorant and very disrespectful. I will never be going back there. Not sure how the rest of the dealership runs but I would not take my car there. Find another dealership. It will save you the headache. I dont know why you even wasted your time commenting back. Your dealership is not going to do anything about the problem I had and is a waste of time. You guys dont do anything to fix the problem. You just respond to the review to try and make your self look good.
My wife got a call from Shawn in the middle of the week asking if she wanted to upgrade her 2012 Ford Taurus. She made an 11:45 AM appointment for the following Saturday. When we get there she tells me that were getting me a newer truck instead (Valentines Day).Shawn was busy and had a newer sales person (Dennis) help us. Im really found of Chevys Silverado and we were able to find a 2012 LTZ to replace my 1999 LT. Everyone involved from the sales person (Dennis), sales manager (Chis), finance officer (Mike), and other folks behind the scenes were great! They were able to get me into the vehicle I wanted at the price I wanted to pay. We had to go back to my residence to empty my truck and bring it back for appraisal. That took some time to do.Even though we didnt get out of there till after 6:30 PM, everyone still had upbeat attitudes. They did provide us with some ice tea and a couple slices of pizza to accommodate us. Thats what warrants them 5 stars instead of 4.
Ok, I have been waiting to write this review to give this dealer time to resolve and make right on all issues of our NEW SUV. We purchased and brand new Ford Edge in July 2016, 6 days after we took delivery the entire dash filled full of water and soaked the carpeting on the passenger side. My wife took it back on the 7th day and dropped it off, then they returned it on the 8th and said there was absolutely nothing wrong with our SUV. the very next day while driving to work the dash flooded and soaked the carpet again, Back to Ron Lewis it went and again nothing was found and thats when I started to contact Ford, it took me a month of sending emails every day to executive level employees with ford and them sending in someone from Detroit to figure out the sunroof wasnt seal properly causing the issue, Ford would not buy back the SUV and we was stuck with it and no help from Ron Lewis to try and get our new SUV replaced with one that wasnt flooded who knows how many times. Now about 3 months ago the SUV started running rough in the mornings and the check engine light would come one, we would drop it off and by the time they got looking at it, the light would be off and they would tell us theres nothing they can do cause the light was out. So finally after a bunch of trips to the dealer the light was on and they determined it was a bad coil pack, it was replaced and picked up only to have the check engine light to come back on the very next morning. Once again it was taken back to the dealer and we was told the injector was bad and they replaced it and we got the SUV back a week later, two days after we picked it up from the dealer I noticed a huge oil spot on the garage floor, I told my wife to check the oil before she drove home from work and contacted the dealer, I was told they did nothing that should cause oil to leak when then changed the injector, once my wife verified there was oil in it and drove home I inspected the engine to find that the dealers 5 star mechanic had snapped off a piece of the valve cover while replacing the injector and thought it would be a good idea to not tell anyone and try and epoxy the broken piece back on causing almost ALL of the oil to leak from the engine. It was then towed to the dealer where the cover was replaced and the spark plug was replaced cause we was told it was fowled. We was told everything was as good as new and to pick the SUV exactly 7days after we dropped it off, well we arrived to pick it up and when my wife got in here GOOD AS NEW NEW suv the check engine light was still on, the oil was never changed and now there was NO coolant in the SUV. Now that was weeks ago we are still with out are SUV, we have been told so many things, at first it needed a head, then it needed a brand new motor, then the only guy that was really trying to help us out the Service manager quits so the we get contacted by the new Service guys or whatever he is, and were told that it was a failed head gasket the whole time, NOW I do not enough faith in this dealer to return our SUV to like NEW condition. and some day we might see as they still have it. I would NOT recommend using this dealership for anything, and I gave them over a year to make this decision. Im just hoping we can get a fair trade in price for it when its returned so our head ache can finally end.
I have been to the dealership multiple times. The reason for my 1 rating is due to their maintenance! I have been their for the same issue 4 times. I picked up my car today. I walked around the car to make sure it looked good only to see it looks like they ran into something with my front bumper! I will no longer be dealing with them nor ford because I have nothing but problems.
Worst car buying experience I ever had. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone. Sold me a car that was never checked to make sure everything worked. I had the car for 20 hours and had to take it to get service for the entire lighting system. Was told it would take 4 weeks for the part then gave me the smallest rental car they had. Was not even comparable to what I bought. HELLO I have children!!!! and need an SUV hence the reason I bought one from you!!!! Worst customer service!!!!
I was more than satisfied. I had mistakenly made my appointment in Cranberry but the service department took my vehicle in did the inspection ,work was done quickly and ver well. Thank you. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Ron Lewis, and will return again. Thanks!😀
Gave me a free inspection, pretty sure it was just a slap and stick since I found out not long after that my brakes were toast. I specifically asked them to check the brakes during inspection since I haul a trailer. Thankfully my brakes didnt fail completely and hurt someone!
Absolutely the worst experience ever. Its an insult that they only offer to help to offset a bad review, not during the months that I struggled to deal with them.I had a positive experience leasing a vehicle from Ron Lewis, and even had it in for service and repairs a few times, but when the time came to purchase it at the end of the lease, everything changed. It started months before the lease ended, I tried to get some information from them about my options, but could not get anyone to call me back or answer questions. When the deadline came, I called and asked what I needed to do. Dave, the finance manager said just come in anytime. So I drove 45 min out to the dealer after work one day, but he could not get the computer to work. This appeared to be a problem with the Ford Website, so I was understanding and agreed to come back another day. Dave said to come back before 5 in case there was another computer problem they could call Ford Support. Nothing else was mentioned, and the same stop by any time offer was made.A few days later, I leave work early and drive another 45 minutes out. I call when I am 10 minutes out to make sure that Dave is available. Dave tells me that I should have made an appointment, I need some kind of inspection, and that they cant help me today. I would have to call and make an appointment and drive back again. The inspection is required by PA, but this was never mentioned in any of our conversations before. Additionally, the service department was already closed the previous evening and Dave never mentioned that an inspection would be a problem. With 90 minutes before the service department closed, I asked if they could squeeze me in considering that I drove out there twice. No way. I talked to the general manager, and was given the same attitude. Nothing he could do except make me another appointment. Worst of all, no apologies for my wasted time and money. No apologies for them dropping the ball and lying to me and giving me misinformation. I was traveling for a few weeks, so I asked for Saturday Appointment 3 weeks away. The GM promised he would take care of it.Weeks passed, and the GM never called or e-mailed to confirm an appointment. I had to call the dealers service department, and make my own appointment. I asked, and they confirmed that I was not in the system and no appointment was made for me. The GM promised to do one minor thing, and couldnt even do that. This time, I double-checked my appointment and the availability of someone to assist me and drive back out for a third time. I was half-expecting some sincere apologies, or a personal apology from the GM, but nothing was said. I met with a salesperson, the car was taken to service, and this time Dave got the computer to work. All business, no apologies or offers to help offset my lost time or money. OK, at least I got the car bought.Afterwards, I am standing in the lobby waiting for my car. And waiting. And waiting. I eventually had to steal a chair from someones desk just to sit down! Youd think that after all of that, they would at least hurry my car through. It took a full two hours to do a end of lease inspection! And I get to sit there listening to the salespeople using all the classic sleazy sales tricks to get an older gentleman into a car he cant afford. Really showed me what kind of dealership they have become. In the end, no one ever apologized or made any offer to compensate me for my time, money or effort. Heres your keys, goodbye. Worst of all, taking the car for state inspection at another Ford Dealership showed that some of the repairs that Ron Lewis claimed to have made in the past were just band-aids. The proper parts were never replaced. Now I have to fight that with my insurance company. If you deal with Ron Lewis Ford, expect high-pressure sales tactics and really poor customer service and horrible attention
Last weekend I brought my first car and it definitely was a long stressful process but everyone here at Ron Lewis Ford were simply exceptional!!!! Im in love with my new 2015 Kia Optima and all thanks goes to Tom Wheeler who made sure I didnt leave unhappy. Thanks Everyone :)
The experience was good in the beginning. They had a tent sale on a Saturday. My wife and I stopped in to look around and Joe Chewning came up to us and invited us to look around. I told him what I was looking for and he found a truck that I was told would fit in my price and payment range. I already had financing so I said Do not pull my credit ! As we talked. He tried to give me a test drive. But I said no. Not until I know the price. No response. He just skirted the question. I told Joe that I would consider a little higher payment if the warranty was a good one. I again asked the price. No answer. He then went to the GM and talked. Then they ran my credit anyway ( is that even legal. They then told me the truck was priced under value due to the tent sale but I had to take the car today. I never really had a chance to check the book value. But I still hadnt gotten a price yet. It was getting late and I did like the truck. I told them I would want $2000. For a trade in, they did that. Which was a good deal. So I signed the papers even befor realizing I still didnt know what it cost until I actually seen it at the top of the page. They over valued the truck (so the GM) flat out lied to me a second time. By $3400.00. Which I didnt realize yet. I was still thinking I got a deal by taking the truck on Saturday. I didnt get offered the extended warranty either. We brought the truck home and started doing some research. Kelly blue book valued it at $16000.-$19000. They use NADA. Which valued it at $20200. So. Wheres the deal? I went back on Monday morning fully intending to get my old truck back. But I got the price knocked down to $20200. Still waiting on the deal for taking the truck on Saturday. Well it isnt going to happen. I got what I got. I did buy there extended warranty. Bottom line. You decide. I wont be back. My credit score better not go down though. Is that legal?
Dishonest, sleazy tactics that cost me time and money! I made the salesman well aware when he had a vehicle available like what I was looking for that it would be a 3 hour drive to get there, so he was aware of why I had many specific questions. First, the mileage he told me was off by 10k. I asked about rust and said it was a big concern. He sent me 24 pictures of the truck, even closeups of the tires. You would think an honest person would also send a picture of the obvious rust and amatuer coverup job that was right above the tire. The cab corners were rusting and other rust underneath was obvious by the reflection on the running boards. I didnt bother to check the cross members I had asked about because the misrepresentation of the other stuff was enough for me. When I commented on the rust, he said the cab corners and rockers are good....they are not. No apologies, nothing. I was very clear that if I made the drive, it was to buy. He evaded on an actual price, but stated several times that it was the end of the month, if we made the drive, he promised he would make it worth it. If he misrepresented the obvious, what else would he not tell me about. He said he would not be available until 1:15, so it ended up wasting an entire day. $100 in fuel and something to eat quick on the way home. We spent less than 10 minutes at the dealership. I am fully aware that when buying a used vehicle, they are not perfect, but I was clear in the questions I asked. Not all salse people are bad, but the salesman, Chris, here is why people use the term dishonest. I cant understand why he would withhold information just to look like an ass when I got there. Lesson learned....DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP
Ive been to a few dealerships where they sell you a vehicle and then not care about you afterwards. This is not the case with Ron Lewis. I bought a used truck from them and had a minor issue, they actually took care of me. Very professional service team and salesman. Highly recommend this dealership.
Best dealership hands down. Told them my situation. I saw genuine care and they got it down. From the salesman to the loan guy to the end. They stayed late to help me and my wife out. Brought us pizza for my 1 and a half year old and 30 week pregant wife. Ill definitely be back. Thanks to everyone there. Awesome people. Thanks.
So Im sitting at the dealer waiting for them to change the oil and rotate the tires. Ive been here over and over and they have always treated me fair. Today, Im questioning that. Today they changed the oil and tell me I need to change all my lug nuts because they are swollen and cant get them off. $7.25 each lug nut, for a grand total of almost $250.00.No more service done at Ron Lewis Ford in Beaver Falls.
Had a no hassle no BS experience. Worked with me on the trade using the KBB value as the starting point and we basically hit it. Extremely satisfied with the New F150 and highly recommend this dealer for anyone looking to buy. Ask for Chris in sales. Very professional and easy to work with.
I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Ron Lewis Ford. My sales associate, Ben, has been fantastic, both in helping me find a vehicle that fit my needs and budget, as well as following up after the sale! I couldn’t make it out to the dealership until later in the day, and when I got there, Ben had everything ready to go!
Basically screwed me out 1400 hundred bucks. Because who ever was there that was supposed to handling the recalls on the air bag on the ford was either to lazy or just didnt care to tell me how the process. Just said someone from the rental car company would call me when they had a car available. Now it a month later and there saying I didnt jump through all there hoops so I am screwed out of money. So Ill never buy another Ford product and Ill never go to Ron lewis dealership for anything ever.
A horrible service experience. I asked for a follow up conversation to avoid a bad review. The service professionals are courteous, but fail to meet standard time commitments. Common service etiquette, (like putting the seat back in its normal position,) is lacking. Failing to provide information on inspection results, I.E, Tire pressures, Brake pad thickness, and tread depths. Ron Lewis is close to my house, but not my only option.
Got a fair deal here. Could have been better overall they ignored my wife threw the process of selling the car. Not overly impressed with the service department. The only thing that sold me was the Sales Manager Chris and the price was competitive. Plus, close to my home.
We had a fantastic experience at Ron Lewis Ford in Beaver Falls. Our salesperson, Joe Chewning went out of his way to help us get the 2010 F150 pick-up. We love the truck!! We have bought several cars and trucks throughout our lives, but this was by far the easiest and quickest process we have ever experienced. Thank you, and well be back again in the future.Jim & Patty HuseltonPS:. I also appreciated the free inspections and car washes!!. Never had either one before.
Took my truck in for routine maintenance and inspection. The diesel was leaking oil from the area of the drain plug, nothing serious, but makes a mess on the concrete driveway. The diesel technician said that there is a serious leak at the bedplate. I took my truck in more than a year ago to specifically have that problem addressed. After keeping the truck for at least three days, I was told that it wasnt leaking! I know this is a complicated repair, having to remove the body to get the engine out, but here we are more than a year later, and I am told the problem has reappeared. I always take the F-250 to Ron Lewis but am now disappointed!..
I was shopping for a new F150 truck to replace my 1993 F150 XLT 4x4 that has a regular cab and I need more passenger room. I stopped in at Ron Lewis Ford in Beaver Falls for a look at the 2016 F150 4X4 Supercab labor day sales. The salesman that approached me was Don Viccari and he was very pleasant and helpful but not pushy like Ive encountered at some other dealerships. After driving a truck I liked we negotiated a deal and Dave Barber handled the finance end. He was very nice and helpful throughout the business process. I drove the new truck home today and so far am very pleased with all the options and handling of my new ride. I was very pleased with all the people at the dealership and would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a new Ford.
Stopped for an oil change and tire rotation on my VW GTI. Mr. Alex Hoffman was the mechanic who did the work and I must say, hes a fine example of the customer service provided by Ron Lewis Ford. I understand their staff is continually being trained with the latest equipment, but Mr. Hoffman took the time to check my hoses, other fluids and general mechanical items. He relayed those findings and the status of my tires (rotation and inspection) and brakes. I consider that far and above to ensure my vehicle is running at peak performance and safe on the highways. The shop was immaculate, the customer waiting room neat and clean and I was asked if I would enjoy a free cup of coffee while I waited! With service such as this, Ron Lewis, Im a life-time customer!!Rose Marie Killeen
What a pleasant experience at Ron Lewis Ford of Beaver Falls! From the second I pulled into the lot in my old car until I drove off the lot in my new Jeep, the staff were there to assist me, answer all of my questions, and keep me notified of the next steps. A huge Thank You! especially to Tom, Chris, and Dave for making this experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish!
My car broke down last Friday.I dropped by on a late Friday afternoon unannounced. Ron Lewis service was very busy but they immediately took me in and fixed my car in one day. Thank you so much for your hospitality and wonderful service. I would recommend Ron Lewis Ford to anyone looking for a new or used car.
Great price. Local Ford dealer in Girard said there was no way to get that price and could not match or beat it. As a matter of fact, the Ford dealer in Girard was 2,000 more . Lewis Ford bumped the quoted price by 611 dollars after I verified the price numerous times. But still had a great price. So, if you want a great deal, spend some time on the internet James and drive to Beaver falls and get a great deal.
Thanks to sales professional Dustin ,my wife & I are now owners of a beautiful ford fiesta!!! Dustin did an amazing job answering our questions, returned phone calls (very promptly), and made sure we had everything to make us happy customers!!! I will tell my friends about Ron Lewis Ford!!!!!
Dont want to paint all the service coordinators poorly as Ive had great interaction with several in the past, but I was really disappointed when I went to drop off my vehicle. This particular rep. essentially ignored me at first and gave me a glancing I dont want to deal with anyone look. As another more friendlier rep. was helping someone else, this rep. finaaly figured out he shouldnt ignore me, but he was rather unfriendly and made feel like I was being a nuisance by bringing my vehicle for service.
My f150 ecoboost was having problems with the timing chain. I dropped off my truck to see what the problem was, after they diagnosed it was my timing chain it took ford about 3 week to tell them they can rip into the engine. It was frustrating but on the same note Nick from ron Lewis kept me updated every step of the way. Nick ended up getting ford to cover all the labor and parts after 40 day! I cant thank Nick enough for helping me. The only part I could complain about would be how long they had my truck. BUT in the end my man Nick got it taken care of and Im pleased thank you!
Great people & great deal, just was a little upset on a poor detail job. Yes it was a used Ford vehicle, but for as low miles that the vehicle had they could have had it shining inside & out. Warranty was given with vehicles powertrain 2yr/100,000 miles which was a plus but warranty is only good though Ron Lewis dealerships as long as its maintenanced by any Ron Lewis dealerships though out the 2yr/100,000 miles or its voided. I would think as long as I had had it service by a dealership anywhere & kept receipts warranty wouldnt be voided. Another plus is I can stop anytime or any Ron Lewis Dealerships as long as I own my vehicle for a free car wash. Still waiting on free car wash Keychain in the mail though. I forgot my Keychain while waiting on sales receipt.
I had switched to another dealership after the multiple bad experiences with Ron Lewis Ford in Beaver Falls. Others that are close to me havent had much great experiences with Ron Lewis and had switched as well. I turned to another dealership and got a better rate and taken care of.
There was only one nice young man that worked there. The others were rude and incompetent. Went to pick car up, paper work was not there, keys were not there, and was billed incorrectly. The young man was kind enough to come back to work to get my keys for me but had to wait until Monday to get the credit. Of course they would only credit half the amt. The people use to be nice there but only the one young guy was nice. Even the sales people look at you like your their joke for the day and your beneath them. Dont think Ill be going back!
I was looking for a very specific truck- pretty much my dream truck- and Ron Lewis Ford made that dream come true. From the moment we reached out to them they were, professional, prompt and friendly. Unlike other places where I felt like I was getting the hard sell, I felt like everyone at Ron Lewis Ford was personally invested in making it possible to get the truck I wanted, and were excited to be able to so. Huge thank you to Bart and the rest of the team there!!
My salesman Don was very knowledgeable about cars that were on the lot. It was love at first sight for my Ford Escape. By 7 in the evening we had exchanged keys for my car and my new one the entire staff worked well together to complete the paperwork and were extremely efficient and polite. Would certainly recommend this dealership
Wont be going back? Front desk kid lied about money from the diag going towards any repairs. Had my truck for 5 days for a diag and oil change and possible repairs. Wouldnt fix my radio while it was under warranty due to the problems not happening right that second. ( Ill probably get screwed down the road).
I have bought 4 cars over the past eight years from Morrow and every time have had a very good experience. I have dealt with Rita Galee from the Kia motor side and Shawn and Pat at the Ford side. All were very knowledgeable and always went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. The GM Tom was incredible, he over delivered on customer satisfaction. As far as the service department I never had a problem and felt they treated me fair. Our cars were always fixed properly and on time. I think everyone has a horror story with buying a car, but if you are looking for a Kia talk to Rita Galee I believe she has been there for over 20 years and has won numerous awards and very honest. On the Ford side talk to Shawn Watson or Pat Dugan.

2022-01-29I showed up at this dealer to look at a truck they had listed online. Was told that the truck was in service and I could look at it but wouldn’t be able to drive it. On Monday I received a call that I could come take the truck for a test drive and I did. I was very interested and asked what needed to happen next. The salesman said he didn’t know it still needed to go though service and he would give me a call. Wednesday I received a text from the salesman saying the truck was ready to sell. I pulled it back up online and the price had been increased over $1500. I asked why and was told it was “because of the market”. I explained that u was ready to buy the truck both Saturday and Monday at the other price but they wouldn’t sell it to me. The salesman talked to him manager and they agreed to honor the original price but only if a guy that came in earlier that day didn’t buy it. They were supposed to call me the next morning, Thursday. Fast forward to today, Saturday, and the truck is still available online and no one has contacted me despite the fact that I was down in their showroom with both cash for a down payment and a pre-approval. As someone that has done sales in the past I can say that I have put more effort into selling TVs that has been put into selling me this truck. I have since purchased a Raptor from another dealer.

2022-01-03I recently took my truck to Ron Lewis for service and my experience was fantastic. They treat you like a real human and are genuinely kind. I picked it up after service was closed and an individual on the sales floor asked for my keys and offered to go find my truck for me. First class.I have a follow up Appt. In a few weeks - look forward to going back.

2022-02-20Recently took my vehicle in for oil change/inspection. Service department was so friendly when making the appointment. When my vehicle was done, it was washed and brought to the front of the dealership for me to pick up. Excellent service!

2022-02-28Put a $500 deposite down on a 2020 bronco that was their demo unit, with the understanding that it was completely refundable. Things changed so we had purchased a different vehicle somewhere else before the demo time was up on the bronco. My fiance calls this store asking for the money back and they say they will call the next day and get it sent back. They didnt call so we call 3 days later and after being transfered to the manager, the phone was picked up and hung up instantly. I called 5 different times the next day and was told we will get back to you but never heard a single thing back from anyone. Finally got ahold of someone that decided it was time to return our money. There was no misunderstanding about the situation they just would not refund our money. I wouldnt let this place put air in my tires for fear of not having my vehicle returned to me... and ron lewis please refrain from commenting trying to make it seem like Im stretching the truth because that would be a lie 😉

2022-06-21Bought a used car from Ron Lewis Ford. It was supposed to have a 100,000 mile warranty, even had it written on the window. The sales man couldnt stop talking about the 120 or so point check they do. So within a week had trouble with the transmission, brought it in the looked at it and said that it was the transmission. They had to get iapproved by the sales manager (Tom). He said it was not covered.
