This place is actually horrible service wise. Called me to tell me a car I dropped off was done - got there and they didn’t even pull it in yet, had to come back two days later. And when they did pull it in they couldn’t service the part I needed because it was bent (fair enough), but couldn’t explain to me the actual reasoning and we just kept going in circles in the conversation. They also had all the information inserted wrong in the system from when I dropped the car off. Also took my bumper off to diagnose and installed it improperly and it’s got gaps under the headlight because the “tech” missed the bracket.
Arrived on Saturday was greeted by Matt Burke. Bought car. He answered all questions ets. Same with finance manager. They were both great to deal with. They are rated 10/10 hands down every professional and personableWhat I do have a problem with, is I am an out of town buyer traveling over an hour to get to your dealership and couldn’t put a non refundable deposit to hold vehicle due to corporate policy till I got there the following day (as I called late Friday to confirm cars availablility) I get market is in and odd time but my time is valuable. Corporate wants to be customer friendly it starts at the top and this is an absolutely poor procedure. If it were not for this policy I would be a 10/10 rating. Again sales and finance employees absolutely great.
Worked with Ethan, Nate, Ian and Moe.This is my second time purchasing a vehicle from Rothrock Nissan and this is the second time the experience has been phenomenal. The parties mentioned above worked diligently with me to offer the best price on a 2021 Nissan Titan SV. Communication was thorough and transparent, and there were no Market Adjustments or added fluff to speak of.Thank you guys for working with me on this purchase. I highly recommend Rothrock Nissan!
Nate and Matthew were very helpful and great to work with. The whole buying experience with Nate was very easy and stress free. He explained everything to me and answered all my questions. Matthew was also great and showed me all the features of my new car and helped me set up my connected services and Bluetooth before we left.
Love these guys, just bought our second car from them. Totally worth driving 70 miles from NJ to PA. All negotiations were over texts, when came to dealership, car was already prepared, signed paperwork, and left. Thank you guys for excellent service. My husband and I are your loyal customers for life.
I took my car that I bought, brand new in May for the 1st oil change Saturday. The service was bad to begin with but now my car is leaking oil!!!!! They dont have a shuttle, you cant make an appointment for Saturday, they dont answer the phone, and now they cant even change the oil right. There are 2 other Nissan dealers with in an hour of Rothrock, trust me even for sales drive further to a dealership that cares about customer service and can do an oil change right. Ive been on hold for 30 minutes to tell them about this and get an appointment. Ridiculous.
So I bough two cars from Rothrock one was a new Nissan and second one was a used Bmw, gave them very good reviews on both cars, after one or two weeks the bmw check engine light came on and it had a misfiring after multiple attempts to fix it they send it bmw to be fix, bmw fix the check engine light. Also at the same time I noticed the center console main screen control knob buttons inoperative after multiple visit they couldnt fix anything and told me that they were getting me a new control know five months later and multiple phone calls many unanswered I still dont have a working control knob. very unprofessional managers. my advice find your self a new dealer dont buy used cars from Rothrock.
I had no expectations going in that day with regards to trading in my current vehicle, at the time, into a newer one. In both times I have purchased a vehicle, the salesman and manager were super friendly and resourceful and attentative. They assisted me flawlessly on both occasions and I would continue to do business with them as well as encourage others to do so, too.
I want to return to Rothrock for service but the only reason I will not be able to is because I live 90 min away sadly, otherwise I would return there for service. Matt and Nate were super helpful before we even drove up there. They helped us figure out details vis email ahead of time. Made everything smooth and easy! Mo made the finance and paperwork very easy and quick. We are extremely happy with the service we were given.
Most pleasant experience Ive ever had buying a car. Extremely reasonable quote provided compare to other dealerships. All documents were prepared for signing by the time I arrived, car was cleaned and ready to go, basically in and out. Thank you guys for exceptional service.
Great place to work with. I live in Florida and found the best price all the way up here. They were great to work with over the phone. Nate and Nick were great to work with. They picked me up from the airport and I wasn’t at the dealership 10 minutes before hitting the road. Nate had all paperwork done and the car was 100% ready to go when I got there. Highly recommend them for great customer service!
9ur experience here was not a bad one but not a memorable one persay... The salesman was pleasant and was not pushy for most of the discussion or interaction however even though he was aware that we had just started to looka t vehicles, he pushed on closing a sale that day. We thanked him and were told that he would call us the following Monday to discuss the car which we agreed too but never called to follow up... His loss, we were considering buying but wanted to sleep on it before making a choice.
I wish Google offered a 0 star option -:( I have no intention of following their standard advice to contact Ron Carl, the GM. If the GM is not aware of the ethics of people he is employing, then there is no point talking. I purchased a new 2022 Nissan Frontier truck from Rothrock on Oct 12, 2021. All I can say that the sales managers at Rothrock are there to rip customers off. We found that the center console wouldnt close and reported that to our assigned sales person. The dealership told us that we broke that by trying to put three A4 size printout papers in it! -;) Next 1 hour was a nightmare - they kept on spinning up stories about a $1000 cost they may incur to fix it, and we are free to walk away anytime (I will sell this truck in the next 2 days and I will see if I can return a portion of the $500 deposit, was the version from Ian, the manager). I bought the truck, paying them $500 extra for no fault of mine. I had to, because I was desperate, as I had sold my old car before I drove up to pick up my new truck. I am not a mean person by nature, but this dealership has left such a sour taste in my mouth that I will denounce them with every opportunity I get. I plan to start with Google reviews, Facebook forum, Yelp and caution folks about Rothrocks predatory nature. They ruined my experience of owning a truck - something I have been wanting for 15 years. The only two folks I found there with a decent demeanor, are Garrett (junior sales) and Mo (finance).
So I just went to Rothrock Dodge on 15th street In Allentown Pa and I literally just got turned away for an EXPRESS oil change ..which no appointment is needed..The salesperson said that they were tooo busy to take my car in the back and suggested that I should come back Thursday or Friday ..This isnt the first time this happened. Ive had a few other incidents with this dealership all bad ..and was offered nothing ..So I went to Valvoline on McArthur rd In Whitehall and I received an EXPRESS oil change ..Ill go to the Honda dealership or valvoline before I go back to Rothrock smh
The worst dealership to deal with. They show trucks in stock on the website you contact them and work up numbers and send you a link to run your credit. They call you to let you know your approved, set up a day and time to pickup the truck and get a call back 15 later stating they sold the truck. Then offer me a more expensive truck that is not even on the lot. Great way to run a business. Contacted Fred Beans and purchased a new truck from them.
First time service with my vehicle here and I was impressed. Got things done fairly quick, went over everything that was going to be done then when finished, was less money than I was expecting which is always a good thing. Even talked about new cars with a sales associate for a little. Definitely going back if my car gets in trouble again.
Anthony Bencivengo was an excellent sales rep. He didn’t pressure us but instead asked probing questions and let us test drive ones were interested in. It is the first time in 15 yrs I had to buy a new car, so he made the process as smooth as he could. Down to earth demeanor and not a ‘sales’ pitch kind of guy. There was one issue which I’m not dwelling on since it was taken care of. One major reason for choosing Rothrock is they are family run business. Don’t have many like that anymore which offers customers peace of mind they will be taken care of respectfully.
My experience with Rothrock’s service department was great. I spoke with Charlene (sorry if I’m spelling it wrong!) to schedule the appointment and she was super responsive and professional compared to the other places I had attempted to schedule an appointment with. Throughout the time that my car was there, it was either her or Colleen that I was in contact with, and they were both great to work with. Colleen even made it a point to return my call right at 5pm when she could have easily ignored it and shut down for the day since it was closing time — that’s a first for me when it comes to working with service departments! My car was with there for inspection and to diagnose an issue I had been experiencing, and they were able to do both much quicker than I was expecting. PLUS, on my way home from picking my car up I noticed they had even cleaned/detailed the interior which was a mess when I dropped it off and full of dog hair commuting with my pup all the time. Very impressed with the work they did and the customer service! I’ll definitely be back.
We brought our car here for an engine light that came on for an air flow sensor on a Saturday. It wasn’t completed until Thursday and when we got the car back it wasn’t driven at least 2 hours and the same light came on for the same reason. We bring it back in just to be told it could run us more money than we already put into it! During the time of service 1 update call and when we call them back for answers and questions they don’t answer! We had to have called them 50 times (not joking) most awful customer service I’ve seen! And when I came into the service department and ask why they don’t answer the phone they don’t have answers to that!!!! They can’t answer that question because there is no answer, just poor customer service! And will never be coming back to this place and no one should either they should be shut down. Worst car dealership ever
This review is based on a NEW car purchase. I was NOT a local buyer and drove almost 2 hours to pick up the new vehicle. The vehicle came with a 4 month old inspection sticker, which I failed to notice as I expected a NEW car purchase to come with a fresh inspection. I have no one to blame for that other than myself and would have not gone through with the purchase had I noticed. However, when I asked for the vehicle to be inspected now, they refused and only offered to inspect it when it was due in 8 months at their facility which is not a solution as I am not local to them.It was a simple request to correct something that should never have been an issue for a NEW car but unfortunately, I received no satisfactory resolution.
I had a bad experience at another Nissan dealership in Bartonsville Stroudsburg. Rothrock made my experience a complete full circle better!! The salesman Anthony worked with me via text and email in two days. We arrived and everything was worked out and ready to go for us. The finance manager was also excellent!! He just kept handing the papers over one by one going over them to sign. We arrived there by 610 and left at 715. I will go back there again!! Thank you Rothrock!!
The worst experience I could have from a car dealer. I offered to fully prepay for a truck so when it came in I could drive up and take possession. Garrett said their business practice is that they do not do this or put deposit until it’s on the lot. Then I get a call on the same day that they ended up pre-selling it to an individual closer. Totally hypocrites and I hope the lose business for their dishonest practices.
Because of my age, I will probably not purchase a new car. However, with that said, Wayne and Mario in service (Dodge-Jeep Service) at TOP-NOTCH employees and representatives of Rothrock Motors. They are professional, kind, and knowledgeable. They make sure everyone in their waiting room is comfortable. Their technicians are the best! Thank you, Wayne for being there for your clients. Thank you, Mario for being there when I was turned away from the Nissan service area. YOU guys ROCK!
The service dept always delivers great customer service. They were honest about how long it would approximately take to finish my vehicle and called me right away to pick up when it was ready. The payment and paperwork process was smooth, efficient, and the rep was very courteos.
I made a list of cars we were interested in. 7 cars in our price range. Spoke to Dan a few times including a few hours before we arrived. After traveling over an hour, the car Dan and I had discussed was just sold. (but still on the lot). Only one car from our list was still available. Perhaps we were not worthy buyers since our price range was at the low end of what dealerships normally carry. Im sick of these Bait and Switch tactics that they all seem to be doing. FYI Do NOT trust that a car advertised online will be there when you get there, even if they tell you it is. We are buying a car within three days but it wont be from these folks.
Service was good no problems fast on time good. How ever my complaint about my wipers literally falling apart was not addressed the way I thought it should have been. as I was told all they could do nothing but replace the wipers I purchased. I had to buy blades retail not under warranty as I was on the road. Seems to me a wiper blade should last more then two years. Both wipers on the same day fell apart ( rubber edge ripped off rest of rubber ). I expected to be reimbursed for the cost of the replacement blades.I did not however need an other set of new blades. If this is policy Im ok with it, it just seems like it should be covered.
Worst customer service ever, no one answers the phone, you leave lots of messages and no call back at all.so I went first thing in the morning and was held for like 35 min to be able to drop of the car. then the whole day passes by and I get no news about my car, and there is no way of communicating with them.car stayed at the dealership so they can investigate more on the issue that I have with my car, the next day passes by with no calls or anything from them, I kept trying to call them from 12:00 PM until 5:00 PM with no response. then I dialed the operator number which she kept saying there is no one at the dealership that I can speak with and at the end she hanged up the phone.
Update October 2020The dealership has continued to get worse. I have been waiting for 11 months for something they still have not taken care of. Also, the management does NOT know how to return phone calls.Update 2020The dealership only cares when you are purchasing a car, they are not Co cerned about anything following the sale. They were not able to get my tags processed in time, I never heard from the salesman post sale, the people in the office do not know how to follow up or treat people. They are about sales and getting money, they do not care what happens afterword.I had originally given them a high rating, now I would give them zero starts if I could. They have not lived up to one thing they tell you about when you purchase the car. My advise, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!------------------------------------------------+Frank was great and very low pressure, I feel I was treated the best here of any dealership I shopped at. I had priced the Rogue at multiple dealerships and they presented me with the absolute best price and met my needs all the way concerning the price and providing me an out the door price. I was extremely impressed with the sales manager and the way the everyone treated me as I made my purchase. I did not feel rushed. I was truly made to feel my business mattered to them and they wanted to earn it.
Sales team was extremely friendly and did a wonderful job of earning my patronage. The price I received was very good for the vehicle and option combination I wanted but more importantly is the team took the time to offer what I WANTED not just whatever they had. The test drive was a little awkward with the sales person directing everything down to telling me when to signal when I already had the signal on. I had done a lot of research on the vehicle beforehand and I felt that the entire sales team respected the idea of that with not trying to sell me something I was not looking for.
State inspection for my LEAF. As expected, the rear brakes required service (1st time at 92,000). This was more expensive than I would expect to pay elsewhere, but I trust that the work was done well. Everyone that I spoke with was friendly and helpful. Some employees in the Sales area didnt wear masks (as noted as required on signs clearly posted). This reduces my confidence in the safety of interacting with anyone at Rothrock. Please ask everyone to follow the signs that were posted by Rothrock.
I was able to get the EXACT vehicle I wanted, as well as having all the paperwork done PRIOR to arriving there. The salesman Anthony was very helpful in expediting the process. He limited the amount of time I had to spend in the dealership. I was happy with the overall experience and LOVE my new Murano!
I went to another local dealership before I arrived and the salesman was pushy and attempting to place me in a vehicle I didnt like.My son purchased 3 cars from Rothrock and told me to go.When I got there, I met with Patrick and he immediately assessed my needs and asked me what I really wanted in a vehicle. In doing that and going deep into detail, 3 hours later, 1 hour past their closing, I was able to drive off with my 2020 Nissa Rogue and returned my rental.I came from NY and didnt intend on doing any of this and the team by far was nice and helpful.I will definitely be back...and so will my son.
I was already kind of set on a Rav4. I stopped in Rothrock before work on a rainy night just to check on a Nissan Rogue. Frank Q helped me, and showed me the Rogue with knowledge and passion. He had an answer to every question I asked, and there were a lot. He seemed very excited about the product. He was very polite and not pushy. He did not get frustrated with me, and I felt that he was very genuine. I liked the Rogue, the choices were very simple. Pick a model, pick from a few packages, and add on what you like. Not like other cars where it is perplexing and you cant get what you want without buying the highest trim and all the packages. He took my documents by e-mail, and when I came back to get the car, I just said what I wanted, and we got the process started. Didnt catch the name of the finance manager, but also polite, and prompt. Answered all of my questions, and drew up the contract. Seamless and easy. Thanks to all, even those I didnt specifically mention. The Rogue is very nice, it has all the features you could want, and it is reasonably priced.
I had an amazing experience with Nate!He made my husband and I feel very comfortable at the dealership and he showed us around and guided us through the available car options for our budget. He was very informative and knowledgeable. When it came down to closing our deal he was very responsive and adapted to my unconventional negotiating ways- very well! I look forward to my next lease!
My experience at Rothrock Motor Sales was out of this world from beginning to end. Everyone was so friendly and made me feel at home. Nothing but laughs and helping hands throughout the whole process. I was able to buy a new car that was in my price range and my style. I would recommend this dealership to anyone.
Eric Gubish did an excellent job in the service department. Eric explained everything to us and made us feel very comfortable. Eric is an outstanding advisor. I look forward to working with Eric in the future. Eric is very personable and the Rothrock service experience that he provided was first class. Eric showed us around the beautiful facility and he said that if we had any comments, questions, concerns, or problems that we should contact him directly in the future. I highly recommend working with Eric.Regards,Ron SemanickPalmer Township, PA
Just picked up my new Kicks, my first Nissan. I am so pleased with the salesman, Doug as well as Art and Nate. Everyone was so nice and so helpful. Looking forward to making them my go to dealership. First class professionalism on all counts. Can’t praise them enough.
I came here yesterday for an oil change and tire rotation around 3:30 pm shop is supposedly open until 8 pm. I was told they couldn’t do it. I show up today 5/4/21 around 8:45 am no one in line, they took my info for same service. It is now 10:33 am and my car just now went into the shop. The service here used to be top notch 5 stars. Not so sure about the service now. I give them only 1 star for this visit.
We purchased a Pathfinder at Rothrock and we had a great experience! Our salesman was Terrell and he was fantastic. He was extremely kind and genuinely happy to help us. It made all the difference to have such a great rapport in what could be a stressful situation. We never felt pressured or pushed. We also dealt with Gerard who was very personable and fun to work with. Our entire experience was a positive one and we are thrilled with our purchase! Highly recommend!
Very satisfied with whole experience. We purchased a 2012 Jeep Liberty. Salesman Brendon Kelly answered all my questions and I had many. He went up and beyond his duties. He was genuinely concerned we were satisfied. It was the most painless car buy I’ve ever made and I’ve purchased numerous new and used vehicles. Financing was a breeze and we financed through Rothrock with Peoples Credit Union. Paperwork was well explained and they were very very organized. Matt who finished up the paperwork with me made it a pleasure. I was offered a warranty but it was never shoved on me. Being not pressured is a significant ordeal to me. I don’t like pushing salesman. So I give Rothrock’s 5 Stars. Thank you for a great experience. The Walsh’s
I will love to get a free oil change from here...I do appreciate the hard work the young ladies and men do here. Such beautiful souls, and excellent customer services. I will love to get coupons in the mail for oil changes and other services here. I been coming here for 5 years and never receive any such offer. Please send me coupons please
We had a great experience at Rothrock. Grant took the time to analyze our needs and made the whole experience very easy. Anyone like me who dreads going through the process of buying a new car should ask for Grant. Grant and the team at Rothrock make new car buying a pleasant experience!
Purchased a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder Platinun Midnight edition IN 2017 BRAND NEW!!! Original MSRP $60,000. Took it to them for the vehicle smoking and they said it was normal smoking. Last anyone checked a vehicle shouldnt smoke like it does. We are hoping this 1 star review catches the attention of someone who can correct it before other problems occur that they will say the service contract we purchased wont cover it! Does this look normal?!?
I recently bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee from Rothrock and Ill be recommending everyone I know to do the same. Rothrock makes it stress free to buy a car. To me, that starts on the front lines with their sales team. My sales rep, Nick, was terrific. Im in sales myself and Nick did the best thing a sales rep can do. Listen! I told him what I wanted and he helped me get it. Its as simple as that. The rest of the staff was terrific and Ill certainly be using their garage if I see any issues. My friend just bought a Jeep wrangler from your team because I told him you guys are the best! I mean it! My little brother is in the process of buying a car and Ill certainly tell him here as well. Thanks again and keep doing what youre doing.
Best car buying experience I have ever had. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, from the Salesman, Sales Manager to the Finance Department. Everyone was very helpful and it went very smooth for me. I would definitely suggest Rothrock Motors to my friends and family. Thank you Rothrock for not only getting me in the car that I wanted but giving me a wonderful experience.
Salesman, Randy (dont know his last name) was excellent. He gave us all the details on loans and specific vehicles and the repair center. He was very professional and very well spoken. Not pressured at all. We will be returning to him, specifically, when we are ready to purchase another vehicle. Great experience and will recommend Randy and Rothrock to family and friends for their vehicle needs.
I was hesitant because coworkers that have used your location for service in the past did NOT have a good experience. However I needed sound expertise and was unsuccessful in the past with private companies. From the initial appt to the follow through of the mechanics observations and suggestions- I was pleased. Alexandra is an excellent representation of customer service and a novices understanding of automobiles.I will continue to use your service bring and soon seek to purchase another Nissan (just not a rogue). Many thanks -
I have a problem with my recent service invoice. My advisor gave me incorrect information about my bill. I then called in and left a message with accounts receivable, and they still havent returned my call after a few days. Not happy about this experience.(11/24/20 update: After multiple voicemails and missed connections with the Service Manager, I connected with the Director of Operations, who immediately resolved my invoice issue.)
Sales staff and managers were welcoming from the time I made my first phone inquiry. My husband and I walked in just to browsed and walked out with keys in our hands. We did not feel pressured, all of our questions were answered, and we had all the information we requested. We worked with Brendan and he was excellent! I would recommend Rothrock dealership without reservation.
I went in to get a quote for a lease and test drove a Nissan Rogue. I already was leasing another vehicle but Mark made a good offer for leasing the 2016 Rogue. I ended up getting a very good deal from Mike, their finance manager. They took care of my current lease and they got me into a nice, new vehicle in a matter of hours. Very easy process, would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get a new Nissan. Mark is brand new at the dealership but he walked me through the process and was able to answer my questions in a timely manner.Edit:I went in at lease end to get a new Nissan. I did not have a pleasant experience as they tried to make me a much worse lease deal. I tried pointing that out to the salesperson, after which the “manager” came out with his calculator. When I started questioning his calculations, he said “you’re not understanding, you’re not comprehending”. I was very offended by that remark and I walked out of any deal from this dealership. You simply should not even think to treat your customers this way.
I went into Rothrock Motors this past Saturday in search of a new vehicle with an affordable monthly payment. Nick went above and beyond to make sure that all of our expectations were met. We were out of the dealership at a timely manner and on the road with out new car!
Buying a car from Rothrock?you should think about it twice! Its been two months and Im still waiting for a callback from Nate Marinelli. No customer service at all. I regret getting a car from this dealership and getting the additional insurance That doesnt do anything. Its a rip off. Theyre just stealing your money.
My neighbor has faithfully serviced her car at Rothrock for years. She has always had great things to say. She told me she always asked for Doug to work on it. The last time I went for service I had a bad experience at one of the big chain stores , so I asked her if she thought they would work on my Honda. She said I should call and ask. She gave me the name and number of her service girl. I saw why she was so loyal to Rothrock. I took my car last week to be inspected and I was in and out with a free car was in just over an hour and a half. They dont even charge for state inspections. I will recommend Melissa and Doug from Rothrock to all my friends. Thanks Marge H.
The best thing about getting a car there this time was I was in and out less then 3 hours and I was so happy. The sale associate was nice and respectful. I was in decisive about the car and they allowed me to make sure. They wasn’t pushy or repetitive about buying my car.
Once again Rothrock and Nate provided me with excellent service and a seamless painless buying experience. this is the second purchase Ive made with them in the last 6 months. My first purchase was a new car. this purchase was a used car for my daughter. and if I ever need another car I will be going there again. Thanks to Nate and everyone at the preowned building for excellent service!!!!
I took my car in for an inspection and tire rotation (did not need to have emissions done) and it took 2 hours for these 2 things to be completed. The amount of time that it took was ridiculous and I would not have brought my car here if I didnt receive free annual inspections. Will not come here for any other service work ever.
Today I purchased a car from Justin Hydro at Rothrock in Allentown. The experience was great from the moment I walked in. Everyone was very pleasant and easy to talk to. It was very refreshing to have a real down to earth salesman that genuinely wanted to put me in a car that I loved and stay within my budget. If you are in the market for a newer vehicle, I would highly recommend going in and talking to Justin.
My emission light went on and I received an alert from Nissan Connect last Saturday. That service is GREAT. I was very concerned but waited until Monday morning to call. I didnt drive the car because Nissan Connect did not advise driving it until the car was inspected. I called at 8:30 a.m. Monday. Your service department opened at 7:30. Left voice mail. Called again at 9:30. This time Operator/receptionist told me she would get someone to call me. Finally Kevin called me at 10:45. I told him the situation. Was not concerned at all. Gave me an appointment for Tuesday!!! So I couldnt drive the car again. I asked for an earlier appointment and was told NO. Kevin said if I break down to use my AAA. I asked for a Manager and was told to talk to Patrick. I left him a message and I NEVER GOT A PHONE CALL IN RETURN. NEVER.I arrived on Tuesday morning and Alex Wildman apologized and had my car inspected. She was apologetic but that doesnt change the fact that there was absolutely no urgency here. I was without a car for two days. That is my only car. I feel once the car is sold, there is no desire to work with your customer. Very disappointed.Since my posting of this review, Nissan Customer Service calles me to discuss the events that occurred. They agreed that how I was treated was not acceptable. I do want to express that Alex Wildman did everything g she could to make things right. This was an isolated event and hope the last one. I will co to us to use Rothkock. Everyone deserves second chances.
I brought my car to the service center for a recall on my airbag. Upon leaving, I realized that my alignment was totally out of wack, and was just recently done in the last few months. This is not the first time I have had an issue with Rothrock service center. I have left SEVERAL voicemails in an attempt to contact someone regarding this issue, and it has been more than a week with no response. I am incredibly disappointed with how this has been handled. Theres no reason for there to be any issues like this if theyre just simply replacing an airbag, and to not have a single return phone call given the inability to just show up places, is unbelievable.
I went in to Rothrock recently while searching to upgrade my SUV and was pleasantly surprised by the dealership & staff. The salesman I had the pleasure of working with, Nick, provided a level of help and information that was unmatched by the other surrounding car dealerships that I shopped around at. Nick made sure to answer all of the questions I had and made the whole process very easy. My car is almost paid off and I 10/10 will be going back to talk to Nick when the time comes.
I had my vehicle in for inspection, emissions, oil change, and tire rotation. I dropped it off on a Tuesday and told them I would pick it up on Monday. They told me they would call when the vehicle was ready. I did not receive a call. On Monday morning I called Rothrock to make sure my car was ready for pickup. I was put on hold for 10 minutes. When the woman returned to the line she asked if anyone called me because there were service recommendations. I needed my vehicle so I could not have the recommendations done. had someone contacted me when the scheduled work was being done, I could have possibly had the other recommended work completed. I was also very disappointed at the condition of my vehicle. The paper mat was ripped up on the floor and the plastic sheet over the seat was thrown haphazardly over the seat. In the past when I have brought my vehicle in for inspection, it was washed as a courtesy. This time it was not. I was very disappointed with the service I received this visit and will be rethinking bringing my vehicle back to Rothrock before next years inspection is due.
This was the best experience that Ive had purchasing a vehicle. Tony J was wonderful to work with! I was in the market for an SUV, Tony filled me in on all of my options and helped me pick the vehicle that was right for me. I have less then desirable credit and the finance department was able to work with me. Once again I have never had a better experience purchasing a vehicle. Thank you Tony, Justin and Rothrock.
It was a relatively smooth transaction because a lot was done ahead of time, but I really dont think the tried or even attempted to negotiate the price to help me get closer to my desired payment range, especially because I had a trade and a sizeable down payment! That would have been nice considering its such a large dealership with high turnaround.
Rothrock is where I bring my vehicle for inspection. They are most professional and are always welcoming & accommodating. They had safety measures in place for the Coronavirus. This is the only place where I would come for my car. They are fair priced and I always feel trusting with them. Thank - you, M.L.
My experience with Roth Rock’s used car center could not have been better! While working with the team I felt like a valued individual and never did it seem like I was being pressured. My thoughts were considered thought the process and Roth Rock’s team was able to exceed my expectations! While I did not purchase a vehicle, I feel confident enough to recommend this dealer to any family member or friend. I would be comfortable to go back myself if the right vehicle were to come onto the lot. Thank you Roth Rock for being the first car dealership to treat me with respect!
My salesman nick was excellent. I came to the dealership few times thru out the year for service on my 2017 rogue. Spoke with nick few times and last visit I left with 2019 rogue. He helped me make sense if it all. I would so recommend him and use him again for the future.
Bill Estadt, my sales counselor, helped me every step of the way. He was professional, polite and knowledgeable. This was my first time shopping at Rothrock and I was quite pleased. I purchased a 2017 Toyota Camry at a great price. I highly recommend Bill and Rothrock.
We stopped in Rothrock Nissan on Memorial Day to check out their end of the month/holiday sales. Fun, no stress environment. We dealt with Anthony and he was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable about the vehicle we test drove, was able to answer each and every question we had. Would definitely recommend.
I had a troublesome experience today but one of the managers called and i will be returning next week to resolve my issue. I was very impressed they called me so quickly. Update to follow next week.I returned today with exceptional service. Patrick kept his word and my SUV is checked and good to go. 😁
For almost 20 years Rothrock has taken care of my vehicles. Our experiences in sales, service and parts has always been great. Even when something unexpected happens, and it does with any vehicle, the staff at Rothrock works to find a solution that will resolve the issue both mechanically and financially.
Communication and customer service is horrible, I’ve had nothing but problems. Was left a msg in June that I HAD to come in for a service due to my lease. I drive all the way there just to be told in a rude manner mind you “oh you know you really didn’t even need to come you don’t need this for your lease”. And then come August my car gives me a msg saying that I need oil and oil filter change. Once again I drive all the way there just to be told again in a rude manner “we cannot get you in today” so I drove there and back again in my lease which I will have to pay in the end if I go over miles and I don’t exactly live down the street. I finally was able to get it in and the service again is just not very friendly in any way it’s very uncomfortable. Anyway sorry but you keep sending me emails and if you want the truth there it is. I hope this helps in someway
The stars are only for the sales guy that helped me but What ever you do DO NOT BUY A NISSAN ALTIMA 2021 SV. Nissan cut corners, and compared to the 2015- 2018 size and shape of the altimas the 2021 Altima SV was designed for a kid. The driver seat feels like sitting on a bucket with a pillow on it. I paid almost 26K for one here at Rothrock and I feel like crying every time I get in the car. I do not understand the loan game but I was not approved for 18k to buy out my lease of my 2018 but i was approved almost 26k to get this kiddie car (Nissan Altima SV 2021) I am so disappointed and is now trying to find out how to get out of this deal. Nissan must be trying to cut corners to make up for COVID losses.
Update (10/9): After seeing this review (and being asked to remove it in return for getting my money back, going so far as a manager wanting to get his laptop for me when I received my check), the process has finally started - although the financial headache caused by the way the refund check was processed is going to take a month to be resolved.------I was interested in a used 2009 Nissan Rogue (priced at $6000), which my wife and I viewed and test-drove on 9/30. The sales representative, Tony, was very cordial, and he answered all of our questions to the best of his ability. We decided it was the vehicle that was best for me at the time. Tony helped us set up purchasing the vehicle when we could return the next day with the necessary materials to complete the process.During that transaction, Kevin (one of the managers), insisted twice that we should finance through the dealership, and seemed taken aback by the fact that we secured a loan through the APCI credit union. He appeared at our table long enough to try to close a deal at the end of the month, which my wife and I were warned might happen.Thankfully, Tony was there to finish assisting us that night, even though we were there until nearly 9PM (having arrived just a little after 5PM).As such, I returned on Tuesday, October 1, to purchase the 2009 Nissan Rogue, with a loan check from the APCI Credit Union. The purchasing process went well enough, and I left the lot with the 2009 Nissan Rogue that same evening (10/1).Wednesday morning, however, the Service Engine Soon light appeared on the readout in the vehicle.I went to a garage in Quakertown, where a mechanic ran a free diagnostic to help move the process forward - which revealed an issue with the Evaporative Emission Control System (EVAP). I was informed that this problem would need to be resolved by the dealership, so I emailed Rothrock after returning to work for the day (and after having the fuel dispenser pop out of my tank when attempting my first refuel of the vehicle, an effect of the EVAP issue).I was then called back by manager Kevin, who set up a time for me to bring the vehicle in for service to have the issues resolved - I was told over the phone that Id be taken care of.I arrived back at Rothrock at 7:55AM on Thursday (10/3) for an 8AM appointment. After watching the Rogue sit in the service bay for 1 1/2 hours, Tony appeared and told me to drive the vehicle back over to the showroom area. The Service Engine Soon light was still on, along with an issue with the tire pressure (all of the tires on the vehicle were over-inflated when my wife and I checked the evening before, which we thought we resolved - but the warning signal did not apparently detect).Tony informed me that apparently the vehicle slipped through the dealerships inspection process - and would need $4000 worth of repairs. The dealership wasnt going to take that kind of hit to make the situation right, even after I was told on the phone the night before that Id be taken care of.Tony did his best to try and help me find another vehicle in that price range, but nothing caught my eye, and it appeared that the dealership didnt want to budge financially to assist me.Tony took me to a 2007 Landrover at the edge of the lot, which visually looked worse for wear upon initial glance. The Landrovers engine immediately failed upon turning the key in the ignition. At this point, my trust for the establishment was pretty much gone - and I was disappointed after noticing how much Integrity is advertised around the location.I handed the keys to the Rogue back to Tony, and I requested that the check be returned and I be refunded the rest of the payment that I completed myself via credit card. I was told the process would begin early Friday (10/4) morning.Even after speaking to Dean Rothrock on 10/4, I still do not have any solution - the dealership has the Rogue, the credit union check, and my money.Dean did not return my follow-up call, instead having Tony and Kevin reach out to me to try and make amends.
Thoughtful and true craftsman at repairing my car while also changing oil and doing my yearly inspection in a timely manner. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was that I could not get an estimate for replacing my bumper since they we down two adjusters today. I live over a half hour away and wanted to get everything done in one visit.
I came in for a last minute unscheduled inspection and just as fast as i was taken care of when i first pulled in...I was leaving fully satisfied and of course my car was washed and it looked brand new again.Give I believe her name is Alexandra a raise because if she has to put up with last minute customers like me she deserves it as I know I couldnt do it.
Professional, helpful and courteous staff, wait time good for service, cost is good on regular service, tire cost seemed high but I also dont know standard cost on tires either lol. Tires were in stock which was nice. Offered complimentary Lyft/Uber service which was also much appreciated.Would highly recommend Rothrock Service to everyone!
My wife and I were looking to trade in my Mazda 3 for a larger car to fit our growing family, so we stopped by Rothrock to look at the Nissan Rogue.Dash was the first salesman to approach us and take us out on a test drive. Super nice salesman; very nice, not too pushy, quite knowledgeable. We came back after a few weeks (after looking at other cars) to drive it again and talk numbers. Dash wasnt there that Saturday, but Nate helped us out-took another drive, got our trade in appraised, worked up some numbers for us.We had to leave due to a family emergency, but Nate called me with all the numbers we wanted and prices were pretty reasonable (before we even started negotiating!). Unfortunately, the Rogue didnt quite work for us, so we didnt buy it, and I honestly felt a little bad about wasting Dash & Nates time. I wanted to give them their commission, but it just wasnt to be.If youre looking for a Nissan, ask for Dash or Nate. You wont be disappointed!!
I advise everyone to buy their cars from a different dealership. Rothrock is by far the worst dealership I have ever seen. We were at the dealership on a Saturday for over 9 hours until our sale was finalized. They kept saying how busy they were (there was literally only one other customer sitting and waiting). I told them before I bought the car that I did not like the running boards on the murano, so they promised me they would be off before I drove the car home. Well when we went out to learn the technology of the car before we left, the running boards were not off and the service department was closed, so I was going to have to come back another day. They then had a manager come out to talk to me and he was like I know youre not happy that the running boards arent off, but could you please give us a good review on google and yelp because we have been doing bad lately. What kind of company has to beg for good reviews after they messed up? Well they called me on Monday evening and told me that if I wanted them to take off the running boards then I would have to bring my car in during the day during the week. I work during the day during the week, so my husband ended up having to take them off. Also, since my car was in the showroom it was pretty dirty on the inside after I bought it and they didnt clean any of it. They literally only ran the car through their quick car wash. Then to top everything off, they messed up my paperwork about three times, so I had to show up there to sign a paper, they had to email me a different paper to sign and email back, and then they had to have someone come out to my house so I could sign another paper. My sale of my vehicle was not finalized until about two months after I actually bought the car. No one ever knew what was going on and they had TERRIBLE customer service. I plan on buying my husbands Nissan and my next car from most likely Kelly Nissan.
I have known Tony for many years thru my job at Turkey Hill. When I came to need a vehicle he was the one I went to. On his day off he took time to learn about what I was looking for. He went out of his way to make sure I got a really nice truck. It was clean and shined liked a new penny. He never handed me off to anyone else even though I came in on his day off to pick it up. He personally gave me his full attention and helped me through the whole process. He answered any questions I may have had and explained everything so I could understand it. I have bought cars before and it was a scary experience especially being a single woman. I feel a lot of dealerships take advantage of this. Not Tony. He made this experience a lot nicer and I would definitely recommend “test drive Tony” when you are looking for a good vehicle.
Only put one star because I had to. This dealership is horrible!!! Had my lease for only one year to now find out they are very shady!! They took me for a $6000 ride!!! I was promised many things from my sales rep only to get nothing. Once the sale is over so is everything else!! After getting screwed by Kelly Nissan and then Rothrock I am done done with Nissan. Thinking about reporting them ...... questioning the legality of business deals. Buyer beware!!!!
I love almost everything about my dealings with Rothrock. I recently encountered a bit of frustration when scheduling service online. First I tried calling, as I usually do. I got an automated message indicating that online scheduling was now preferred. I attempted to circumvent the message in order to speak to a human but I was unable to get anyone to pick up. So I proceeded to schedule the appointment online. I received no email or text confirmation of my appointment. After selecting my date, time and services online, I encountered a need to change the time of my arrival. There was no way to revisit a scheduled appointment to modify it. I tried calling again. Still no one picked up. I typed a message using whatever Contact Us link I found on the website. Still no response. When I arrived on the date of my service, another issue arose. Somehow either I or the system put my appointment on the wrong date. Since I had received no email or text confirmation of my appointment and I would have been unable to visit the website to double-check my scheduled date due to whatever glitch prevents a user from logging in to view such information, I arrived a week ahead of schedule. Had my typed message requesting a change of arrival time generated a reply, I would have seen the error. Im not sure how I would have corrected it without having a human to call but... These shortcomings of the automated system are quite frustrating. I now have the business card of a Nissan service manager and will go through him for future appointments. If you expect people to like and use your online scheduling system, you need to make it more user-friendly and responsive.
I am not one to typically write reviews, either positive or negative; however I feel I need to voice my opinion regarding my negative experience in the hopes of preventing another person from the same disrespect.I visited Rothrock on the afternoon of Saturday November 11th 2017. The product specialist was knowledgeable regarding the 2017 Nissan Rouge S model my wife and I are interested in and made us feel welcome and comfortable during a lengthy test drive. We began to negotiate price with the product specialist whom received an initial offer from his manager. We countered for a lower price, at which point and time we were greeted by the assistant sales manager. The first words out of his mouth were, “this is a strong number and I’m going to need immediate commitment”. Upon our hesitation for immediate commitment, as we were still in the process of fielding offers, the assistant sales manager became defensive, rude, aggressive, and disrespectful. The next phrases spoken were “are you going to really play these games” and “are you going to other local dealerships once you leave here”. Quite frankly, this is remarkably forward and it is absolutely none of his business what we do on our personal time while off his place of employment’s property. In truthfulness, we did visit other dealerships after Rothrock, all of which treated us with dignity and respect. The assistant sales manager needs to realize good business is about relationships with people, not dollars and cents. He needs to wake up to the fact there is a concept called competition and if he continues to treat other people in this manner, will lose sales every time.My wife and I are close to closing on an offer with a local competitor. It is unfortunate and sad for Rothrock that the assistant sales manager did not spend adequate time with my wife and I. If he did, he would have quickly realized we are extremely well qualified and low-risk buyers. In summary, please do not waste your time visiting this dealership unless you are ready to immediately commit. Even if competitors come in at a slightly higher price, it is well worth your self-dignity, respect, and time.
This is the first that I used the Lyft service so that my car may receive service as I was at work and this method was excellent. Way above my expectations. I saved time, did not miss any time at work, and my car was well taken care of. Thank you Rothrock All smiles.
I stopped into rothrock this past week and thankfully was approached by nick. I was shopping around this entire month because I would like to upgrade my vehicle but I don’t need to just wanted to see what is out there. Nick gave me excellent information and what meant the most to me was the respect he showed me as a customer. I am still on my search but if I find a vehicle I will 100% go back to nick. Excellent salesman and better person.
I came in earlier this month interested in the Rogue. I was approached and assisted by Jesse . He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I wasnt ready to buy just yet, but he wasnt pushy and didnt pressure me to buy. He made me feel comfortable. I plan on coming back . Good customer service !
Great Customer Service.... The price quoted was the Price I finalized during closing. Jim, the Sales Manager helped facilitate the sale along with salesman Brenden Kelly. Highly recommend you to pick your Jeep, Dodge or Chrysler vehicle from Rothrock dealership. Rothrock is a Patriotic Establishment who Honors our U.S. Military. Stop on By & Get your New Vehicle Here!
My overall experience with Rothrock Chrysler Jeep Dodge was rather pleasant and quick. My sales person Chris Andrews was extremely professional and knowledgeable of the product; he had come highly recommend from a close friend of mine who like myself has purchased many new cars. My trade in had some damage and the offer they made me was $3,500 higher than I was offered elsewhere. The paperwork process with the finance manger was very quick, I wasn’t inundated with attempts to upsell additional services and protection, though I did talk myself into purchasing the Mopar extended warranty. I will definelty be back to purchase in the future and plan on recommending the dealership to anyone in the market.
Every Customer service experience I have had with Nissan Rothrock has been disappointing. I have attempted scheduling online, inconvenient because I received a call back, was put on hold, and then I had to go through everything all over again because apparently they dont read what you include. We ave specifically asked them to contact me, but they always call my wife. Their time estimates are essentially pointless because they are always hours off. Plus they continually email about surveys, even if they have been completed multiple times, and again calling my wife about surveys. I lease a car with them, car is great, but I will never lease with them again. A shame.
The service department recently inspected my step sons Chevy Cruise, not even a Nissan, but man was my step son impressed with the whole dealership. From the first person who greeted Brandon at his car to the cashier when he settled up. A class act, got him in and out in a very timely manner, and very satisfied overall experience. He said to me, wow, that place is really nice. So I had to give them the kudos, I work for Rothrock over at the Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM building and it makes me feel VERY GOOD about the company I am working for, knowing that they didnt even know that was my step son, and how good it all went. Thanks again. Keep up the great work, the sky is the limit.
A few months ago I went in and bought a Nissan Rogue with the help of Gerard. He made the experience as fun and stress free as it could be, even after he knew we werent buying something that day. Answered all our questions honestly and took a lot of time with us to make sure we were comfortable with the information. After shopping around we came back and Im so glad we did! Would recommend working with Gerard to anyone!
I had such a great experience at Rothrock. I went in with a set idea of what I wanted and what I wanted to pay, Nick my salesman was honest, accommodating and went above and beyond to meet all of my needs! Every one I delt with (nick, Justin, Evan, and Kevin) made things easy, quick and made sure I had a good understanding of what I was buying ! 10 out of 10 would recommend every time!
I have to commend Simone, the service manager, and the Nissan service team on really going above and beyond in numerous ways during the recent repair of a tumble control valve on my 2016 Altima. Simone was courteous, responsive, and communicative. The team fully addressed my issues, promptly responded to all the questions I had and quickly got my car back on the road. Thanks!
Ive been here a few times for service. Each time is a terrible experience. Ive never gotten my car back when promised (3 hours for an inspection appointment once). The first service advisor I had was great then the one I had with my last few trips was a bit rude. I cant say how the sales staff is but the service department is bad enough that Id rather drive to the dealership in Wilkes-Barre where I purchased my Nissan for the rest of my service needs.
We own a Titan and a Pathfinder, and have been very happy with the the Nissan product. We started using Rothrock service about six months ago and have been completely satisfied with each visit. All the staff is great and you are greated with a warm smile everytime we are there. Alex is great with helping us every visit.
We have both purchase new new sound in the past year from Nate. He and Charlie went to great links to make sure to listen to our needs and to find a vehicle that we were satisfied with. Ian in finance went to great lengths to show Both of us all of our purchasing options As well as some helpful information about protecting our new purchases. Both the Altima and Pathfinder have been great vehicles Delivering the power performance and fuel economy that were promised.
We had an amazing experience today. Charlie, Nate, Nicole and the whole team at Rothrock Motors Nissan were fun, engaging and trustworthy. We have been Nissan car owners for 20 years and the team at Rothrock Motors is the best team we’ve seen so far. We really love our new Murano and look forward to a long relationship with this team.
They really work with you to get the car that fits. Very professional and knowledgeable staff making the entire process very smooth and gives you peace at mind that youre driving away in the right car for you. Would give 6 stars if I could. My wife and I definitely recommend this dealer and will use them for all future cars. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!
I stopped by Rothrock to look for a new car about a week and a half ago and was met Jason Tremblay a salesmen. He was very considerate, and never pushy. One of the best experiences I have had at a new car dealership. I am currently in the market for a new car and am shopping around, but would definitely consider Rothrock after seeing all of the great inventory on hand, and the exemplary service offered by the sales force.
When I first went to Rothrock, my intention was to just start looking, but instead, I left with a new car. That is mostly due to my salesman, Nick Stelzman. Nick was very knowledgeable about all the cars we looked at. When I found a car I liked, he worked with me and made an offer I couldn’t refuse. To anyone looking for a new car, Rothrock is a great place, and I would definitely recommend asking for Nick. I will be going back to him when I’m looking for my next car.
Was looking at Nissans and happened to be in the area at the time so I stopped by. I knew what I was looking for but not ready to purchase for a few months, just wanted to get a price range. Gerald was a great salesman easy going great to work with. When I told him I wasnt read to purchase is when Kevin, I am assuming assistant manager, came in. Who stated the following. I am confused. Why would you come all this way just for a price? We wont have this vehicle when your ready to buy. Dont these numbers work for you. Why wont you purchase it now. This is while I told him I was in the area and figured I would stop by, which didnt stop his pushiness. I then got up thanked him for his time and apologizing for wasting everyones time for being interested in a vehicle that wont be available when I am ready to purchase in December. I then called Nissan on the way home, MUCH different conversation.
Leased a car from rothrock. I have been very dissatisfied with their irresponsible service and sneaky business. My car had a engine problem in the first month I bought, and emailed and called the salesman and did not respond to me (never). When I used a free tire service offered by the dealer when I made a contract, the service manager told me there is no record for such a free tire service and forced me to pay the fee. Fortunately i was able to find a document for the free tire service, and when I showed the document, he said the system made a mistake.
Back in July my husband decided to trade my current car for a safer option since I was about to have a baby. He decided to buy from this dealership, the transaction took longer than expected but we were happy with the service we received from our sales rep. In the deal, it was agreed that the dealership was going to pay the remainder of my lease, so I signed the papers got the new lease and moved on. It has been over 3 months and they have not send the payment. I contacted the finance manager over 3 times, and every time, he promised the check was going to be cut and send over to the Nissan Corporation. Now I am getting calls from a collection agency because they have not received the payment. If looking to buy or lease a car under similar conditions that they promise to pay your lease, just be aware that it might turn into a nightmare. This is sad, I am disappointed that I still need to deal with them.
I really like the service they surpassed my expectation I spoke with Dave who jist communicated and extended my rental car for 3 days because car wasnt going to be done i really appreciated him for that my car was done excellent as if I had never been in an accident thank you Rothrock aplus customer satisfaction
Went in on my Monday off to see if they could help me get out of a very unhappy current situation(Dodge Journey purchased from Kelly) I had gotten into! Was greeted with a friendly smile from salesman and my buddy Michael Lavender... he told his manager Lamar the situation and they got right to work! They worked long on hard to get me a rate that I felt comfortable paying! They gave me a beyond fair amount for the Dodge and put me in a brand new 17 Pathfinder for not much more! Michael kept me the wife and kids all entertained and comfortable the whole time there! I want to say a special thank you to manager Lamar also for going above and beyond for me!
Come here if you enjoy getting ripped off. I simply needed 2 Nissan lug nuts for my car, which Ive bought in the past from other dealerships for anywhere from $6-10/ea., or $4 online. Rothrock charged $13.19(tax not included) - The MSRP from Nissan is $10.47, so enjoy a 20% premium on parts bought here - almost $30 for 2 lug nuts is insane.(see online prices - part number 40224-JK00A). This is obviously a fairly small amount, but indicative of what the mark up they would charge for any other part. The process was great, as a waited for 15 minutes before the tech came back and told me they didnt have any lug nuts. All the while I got to stand next to a lady losing her mind about how badly her father had been ripped off buying a car there a couple days before. Finally, after 20 minutes, I had 2 lug nuts for a ridiculous price and just paid and left. I only chose Rothrock as they were the only dealership with parts open, or else I wouldve gone to the other dealers in the area who were always pleasant, friendly, and charged normal prices without a significant mark up. Definitely come here if youd like to pay extra price for poorer service.
False advertisement runs rampant with this dealership. I contacted them and tried to settle for a price they posted online. I was transferred to a manager and advised him about false advertisement or bait and switch laws. He said they wouldnt honor the price. He asked me what laws I was quoting and I started reading them verbatim. He hung up. Not the best customer service. I have pictures and have documented the price on the vehicle along with the day it was posted. I will take the matter to someone higher in the dealership or court if needed be. I will keep pursuing this matter legally, and posting on social media and/or the internet so people dont fall in to this bait and switch scam.
I was left hanging on the status of my Nissan ...I had tried calling and left 6 messages ...not on call back as to my car being done..I had to borrow a neighbors car ...drive to Rothrock to find the service manager I left messages for all day had left not calling me that my car was done! I ended up paying while the shop was closing ...driving my neighbors car back and had to pay Uber to come get my car....very upset...very much not a good experience...and very poor communication...my cell phone records show 9 calls starting at 10 am ...leaving 6 messages! Uncalled for!
My fiancé & I have been debating on buying/leasing a new car for the past year. We finally came to a conclusion to trade in his car & lease a new one. My fiancé went to another dealership in Allentown, and was not feeling it, however, as well all know, looking for a car is no fun. When my fiancé decided to take me back to the dealership in Allentown, we were on 22 and just before we passed Rothrock, Sal was like, we should probably check this place out. Tired from work, I wasnt in the mood, however, right when we walked in, we were greeted by like 5 Salesmen. Efrain (spelling?) was our Salesman, he was young, yet very knowledgeable. We also worked a little bit with Joe S. He was absolutely wonderful. Both, Efrain and Joe made the experience so wonderful, we didnt stress at all. Even though we waited a while on the morning we picked up our Nissan Juke, the process was smooth, everyone asked us if we needed anything to drink, eat, etc. As we all know, buying/leasing a car takes forever, however, at Rothrock, this experience was exciting and very well worth the wait. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking to buy/lease a car! I know that we will DEFINITELY be returning one day! Thank you Joe & Efrain!
Ill start out by saying I wouldnt trust the 5-star reviews here.I gave them one star because they tried to sell me a lemon and yell at me for not appreciating what the car would look like once their mechanic had a chance to fix it up for sale. The car had been with the for at least 2 weeks (listed on their site for that long), and it still had empty cans in the back seat. The car was in terrible condition and wouldnt start when he tried to show it to us. They opened the hood to jump the car and the engine was physically lurching ~4inches forward within the car chassis every time it tried to turn over. The car handled okay, but every time we accelerated you could hear the engine rattle the whole car. I complained about the condition and the engine trouble and the sales associate started barking at me that it had only been with them 2 weeks and that I really should consider what it would be like after their mechanics worked on it. I was out on the deal from that point on, but the associate demanded that it was in good condition and with all the extras it should be valued at nearly 2,000 over its blue book value.I didnt trust the associate or the business model that would allow them to show a car in such terrible condition. And it wasnt like we showed up and demanded to see the thing. I had seen the car on a used car website where it had been posted for at least 1 month. When I called about it they said it was in ready to roll off the lot that day. When I got there it was a totally different story.TL;DR: Terrible condition vehicles, lousy mechanics, rude/incompetent sales staff. Avoid this place if you can.
In Feb 2017 when I traded my 2015 lease 4 months prior to lease end with low miles for 2017 lease. I did survey with 5 stars because all was good. We made deal and all was in order. Very happy. Since that time Ive been turned over to collection for balance due on the 2015 lease because they only waive last 2 months. Be very careful with finance policy here or you may end up paying for a car you dont have. When trying to straighten out problems you dont get the attention you are given prior to sealing the deal. No follow through via phone or email.
Went in to Rothrock Nissan on Monday to see what kind of holiday deals were going on. Anthony helped us out and showed us vehicles that were of interest and in my price range. He was easy to work with and knew a lot about each of the cars which helped me narrow down my options.
Stay away from this place. They have by far the worst customer service I ever had! My boyfriend took a car in on a Friday. They give him a run around. The car ended up not being done until Thursday. Almost a week. The guy my boyfriend spoke to had no customer service skills what so ever, He says he needed copy of owners card and Drivers License and he said emailing them was fine. 3 people sent and he claims he didnt get it. Then when 3 people sent it again he only got an email from 1 person didnt bother calling my boyfriend at all. Why wouldnt he call if he had issue, and he didnt return any phone calls. This place all around has poor customer service skills.
My husband and I came here for him to test drive an electric car. And he was greeted right away by two salesmen as soon as he stepped out of our car.I say him, because I was not acknowledged until he pointed me out to the salesmen. I was quite surprised by this. We then went inside to do the paperwork for him to test drive and although I was right there and present with my husband i was never spoken too, or asked if I would also like to test drive the vehicle. It was like I wasnt even in the room. It was awkward. Yes I could have spoken up at any time, but I realized they werent interested in both of our business only my husbands.
My wife and I, newly weds, needed a car that was both affordable and reliable. We visited many local dealers, as well as another locally competitive Nissan dealership, and found ourselves returning to Rothrock Nissan. Our salesman, Edwin Serrano, was VERY understanding and accommodating to our needs. I HIGHLY recommend Rothrock Nissan, particularly Edwin Serrano to any and every one!!! Thank you, Rothrock!
I purchased my vehicle in November. There were a few problems nothing big.I was in an accident 2 weeks ago and found out my vehicle is not registered. The first time I called they acknowledge there was a problem, however I tried calling back twice after that and no one answers my phone calls.I love my car but I’m sorry to say I won’t return to Rothrock.Debby York
Purchased a Nissan Altima a few days ago. As in all car buying adventures the process takes much longer than I would like. But in the end we got a very good price for the new car, and were happy with the value for our trade. This is the third vehicle we have bought from Rothrock, and would go there again.
Ronnie, Vinnie tom and Lamar where all excellent!! Extremely quick and easy process. Only issue was some of other employees not being aware of their surroundings. If they would be conscious of customers and not discuss things in public area 5 stats would have been my rating.
Apparently they have enough business thar they dont need mine. Ive tried twice to schedule service. First time I was told they didnt have any openings the week I called and then the person hung up. I called again to schedule and I had a few questions...I was told to schedule online. Terrible customer service!!!
$400 for a replacement muffler on a 8 year old Versa with 35k miles...and it falls off in less than 2 years. Warranty on their work is one year so I had to go elsewhere to have it rewelded. Poor quality work and they dont really stand by it, especially for the price you pay.
Absolute terrible service! We took our vehicle there for repairs, a Nissan, and it sat for two weeks--they didnt even have their technicians turn the vehicle on. Now we have to have the car towed to a new dealership, one that is far more competent and that actually won’t give you an attitude when you call asking about the progress of your vehicle. If you have a car under warrantee, I suggest you do not use this dealer ship what so ever.
A friend of mine suggested this dealership to me when I was looking around for a new car. I ended up buying a Nissan Altima a couple of months back from Rothrock. Like most others have mentioned here, the people at Rothrock are quite friendly. My salesman, delivery coordinator etc. were all very nice through the entire time I dealt with them. The professionalism of the service can be improved though (they forgot to give me my temp registration, they delivered the vehicle with little nicks on the front bumper on a brand new car, etc.).Pros: I did not feel like I was dealing with sleazy car salesmen. they appeared to genuinely care about building a relationship with you.Cons: Lack of professionalism. For a Nano coating and an oil change, I had nearly a dozen phone calls with their delivery coordinator. And when I asked for the shuttle service, their driver asked me to give directions from their dealership. These are really minor issues, but they take away from the overall experience.
I had a great experience when I brought my Altima in for inspection....Technician Patrick was very informative and did an awesome job with thoroughly going over my car.....Simone was great with checking me in and with all of the paperwork .... both need to be commended on doing a great job!!!

2022-04-15Matt Burke was fantastic to work with from start to finish. Very personable, took time to review features of the vehicle, different options and more. Matt also took time with a follow up call to see if I had any questions regarding the vehicle.Nate was as thorough with the finance piece too. Nate took the time to break down from the trade value of my used vehicle to interest rates and all available coverages and options that Rothrock has to offer!I could not be pleased more with the service level that both of these gentlemen provided. The service level as incredible! Thanks again Matt and Nate for taking the time to deliver a great experience!Mike Presto

Car was ready and initial instructions about the equipment and electronic items was given by the salesman. Salesman was pleasant, knowledgeable, and patient. All has been as expected. A pleasant experience. Love the car.

2022-05-17Garret was great! He didnt pressure me into buying unlike bennet. I appreciate how communicative he was the day before when I had started browsing. He understood what I needed and honestly made the process very easy. I will gladly come back or recommend another friend over to the dealership!

2022-04-29Was very pleased with the service provided while purchasing a vehicle. The sales representative Matt was of excellent assistance, providing all information regarding the vehicle sale in a clear concise manner. The continued support from him has been excellent. A follow-up call from Matt was recieved to be sure that I was pleased with my purchase and to see if I had any questions about the vehicles functions.

2022-03-06Knowing how difficult it is to purchase a new vehicle these days; I struggled to find one. However, Nate, the Sales Manager, did an incredible job staying in touch with me, sharing updates (even when vehicles were no longer available); and helping me finally secure the exact car I was looking for. I am so grateful for the world class service, awesome communication and great patience Nate, Anthony B., and Mo demonstrated as they helped me finalize the sale! I will be back for more (and hopefully that GTR some day)! Thank you Rothrock Motor Sales; awesome team with great customer service.

2022-05-16I called your service center for an appointment and because you were scheduling 3 or more weeks out, your operator suggested the first come first serve option, which I was unaware of. I was 2nd in line and your staff was courteous, helpful and performed all of the services promised. Our Pathfinder is working perfectly.

2022-06-24My sales man Nick B was very friendly and helpful and made the whole process quick and easy. I would work with Nick again. I will not return to this location for services only for the fact I traveled over 2 hours to this dealer for my vehicle and that’s too far to travel for services, otherwise I would return.

2022-06-25Nothing but good vibes from the people of Rothrock Motor Sales! Matt was quick to communicate through text and was very transparent with everything, no pressure was felt at all. Just a real easy person to talk to! There was a hiccup negotiating the trade in value, and he recommended nearby CarMax to get my car appraised, got a great deal there! AND Matt came by, picked me up and gave me a ride to the dealership, got very upfront answers on the pricing. Moe from finance was another one who was a pleasure to speak with, very down to earth and relatable (he has a spilled cup ornament on his desk btw, don’t let it fool you). Purchased my car, drove it back to CarMax and sold my old one on an amazing deal! All in all, Matt went above and beyond to be accommodating and provide any information I needed; great experience. He also followed up once more to answer an questions I had and also replied immediately when I had texted with questions of my own! It’s how car buying should always feel like! 💯

2022-05-03Recently purchased a new Nissan at Rothrock and it was a positive experience. I appreciate they didn’t try and charge over MSRP like many others are trying to do in todays market. Will consider them for future purchases.
