I came in with an urgent zipper repair on a peice of luggage. I was literally traveling next day. They were able to accomodate me and in less time than what was initially quoted. It saved me from having to purchase a new piece of luggage last minute. 🙏🏽
This place is great! He does quality work at a reasonable price and also will happily tell you how you can get the work done for lower price (example: I brought in a bag to get the leather straps replaced and he said that leather strapping is quite pricey but that he could put in straps from another purse or even a belt which would save me money!). It is cash only so come prepared!
An A for the work, but an F for personality. The guy that runs the place is basically a textbook example of a miserable burnout lol. But if you need a place to conveniently go if youre in the neighborhood for shoe repair then it works.
The owner he is true to his craft and provides excellent service. He treats his customers and educate you on what you need to know about your items. Best of all no long wait time.
I had a beautiful Tory Burch bag I scraped badly and thought was beyond repair. Its an unusual color and he warned me it might not turn out the best. He called me the next day to tell me the bag was ready and it turned out amazing! I couldnt believe how awesome it looked. I would highly recommend taking any of your damaged leather here, quick work and reasonable prices. Thanks again!
I took my boots to be repaired and requested heals and soles be replaced. The owner talked me out of doing the soles and said that they had a lot of wear left on them and that they only needed to dry out. He replaced the heals and did some work on the soles. These are very expensive boots and I have had them resoled and had the heals replaced twice before. This is by far the best repair I have ever had. I will be bringing some of my other pairs to him in the near future. I felt the price was very reasonable. I live in South Carolina and he told me he would have them ready before I left. He actually had them done a day early. I would give this shop more than 5 stars if I could!!
I came here to have a purse of mine repaired. It had been through a lot. The straps had broken. Some of he inside torn. I wasn’t even sure if some of the damage could be fixed. THEY WERE SO GREAT! They explained to me how the repairs would work and the different options they could do. It was done in less than a week and looks just like new!!!!Definitely go here if you need your bags prepared.
Great service they do wonders on my leather loafers and suede loafers. This guy knows his stuff and his work shows it. Its like picking up a fresh pair every time their finished with polishing buffing and cleaning my loafers & boots. I cant say how much I highly recommend this cobbler.
Great customer service. I took a piece of luggage that had severe damage. Mike looked at the bag and told me it would be too expensive to repair, but he would contact the company to see about an replacement. Less than 40 mins later I received a call from Mike telling me that the Company will ship a new bag! I now have a shoe and luggage repair company for life!
Mike Zinar was a delight. He was patient and tries to help the customer get exactly what they want. His shop is full of interesting products to purchase. You can purchase repaired luggage and pocketbooks. He is open in Saturday until 3:00p.m. He makes keys also.

I found this shop through the travelpro website. They were listed as a service shop for travelpro. One of the wheels on my roller board was bad. I brought it in and in the time it took to get a sandwich they had it fixed like new. They also contacted the company for warranty information so there was no charge to me. I am very pleased with the service I recieved and will use them again in the future
I brought my favorite pair of heels here that got destroyed by PA streets. John took them in and worked on it by trying multiple methods and even paying for replacement parts when he didnt need to. Its hard to find people who care so much about the work they do. Ill be coming here for every shoe repair. Thank you! Please stay in DTLA forever.
Not many places I would trust with my designer luggage or upscale shoes but this particular place I would trust with my Louis Vuitton and Ferragamo.Truth be told this guy is a master at his craft and not only does he fix the retail end of peoples luggage and shoes but some of the manufacturers actually send them their luggage and shoes for him to fix.Jerry from lawyer up

2022-03-29This place is amazing! I cannot recommend Roxborough Shoe and luggage repair enough!! Mike is fantastic! I came in with a broken, and cracked suitcase handle and Mike fixed it while I waited. I came quite a distance, and was flying out the next day, so having it fixed immediately was absolutely priceless!! Mikes work is impeccable and prices are great!

2022-05-02Great local small business. Took my Frye boots in to get resoled and they turned out great. The bottoms are just like new. They were done in a few days. Will definitely be coming back for any shoe repair need.

2021-07-24What a great shop. I had brought in an exotic gator boot with a gash in it. I thought the boot was ruined for good, but he found a way to make it look like nothing ever happened.Excellent prices and fast turnaround. Highly recommended.

2021-08-30The owner repaired my black leather braces (suspenders) for me, and did an excellent job. I also have my leather slip-on loafers that hes going to put heels and soles on to restore them to their original look.
