I want to say first that Mr. Gibbs I know for a very long time always a great person with a kind heart. I will say that as a professional director of his funeral home my self and my family cant express the gratitude we share as he served the funeral of our beloved grandmother who left us last year around a time like today. My family wanted all these other funeral homes and I said please give him a chance and you will see. Well no doubt as his friend and as a client I will say he did an excellent job that my family had nothing but gratitude for the way my grandmother was taken care of.....May he continue his journey full of blessing and may he reach the stars GOD BLESS YOU!!!! The Best service ever....I trusted Mr. Gibbs with my father December 1st and he treated my father like his own. Mr. Gibbs paid attention to every detail I requested and made my father’s final viewing that of a movie star. One word to describe RS Gibbs Life Celebration.....PERFECTION!!!
Mr. Gibbs and his staff are beyond amazing. When our grandmother died Mr. Gibbs came to our home and assisted us with the funeral arrangements. Mr. Gibbs is a class act. Although death is not something we all like to deal with, Mr. Gibbs and his staff have the ability to take the load off of your shoulders so that grieving can be easier. Thank you Mr. Gibbs.
Mr Gibbs and his staff did an amazing job funeralizing my grandmother. My grandmother battled with liver cancer and when she passed she did not look like herself. We thought we were going to have a closed casket. My family and I reached out to Mr Gibbs, we told him our concerns and he assured us we would be taking care of. We have him pictures of when our nana was the most healthy. When we viewed our nanas body we beyond pleased. She looked like she did way before her battle with cancer... needless to say we had an open casket... we highly recommend this funeral home.... we will forever use them for our family needs! 2021-03-01Romaine and his ENTIRE staff at R.S. Gibbs went above and beyond for my husbands Janazah Service! It’s hard enough to handle business when a loved one passes, but when that transition is sudden, accidental & totally unexpected, smh my God! The patience, the compassion, the thorough communication and the accommodating nature that was provided made accomplishing this seemingly impossible task all the more feasible.They treated us like family, and I am eternally grateful!

2018-06-16Our experience with R. S Gibbs Life Celebrations Funeral Home was nothing short of excellent, from the owner, Romaine to the entire staff , everyone was so attentive and accommodating. We found them very professional, caring and supportive to all our many requests. My mother, Carmen, the former first lady of The Phila Church of Jesus Christ went home to rest in November of 2017. Our family and the entire church congregation had high demands. Choosing to have the Gibbs Funeral service guidance was the best decision we could had made. Everyone was completely satisfied and impressed. documents were given on time, we had only positive experiences and high praises.Romaine and staff were the support we needed and couldnt have imagine anyone else taking care of our precious mother during the most difficult time of our life. The church now suggest the Gibbs Funeral home as its primary recommendation to its membership.

If you are looking for a LFD that has the gift of making your final view and impression of your love one a satisfying heart warming and lasting one this is the funeral home that you and your family must make as your default choice. The polished professionalism that is render by this young man and his staff beats none in Philadelphia. Mr. Gibbs & staff definitely have made some of my family members look even better in death then they were alive due to the side effect of their illness . The process from start to finish is very difficult especially when its your first time planning a funeral but he has helped us from start to finished . A very honest man, Go with Gibbs !

2018-04-19We are more than pleased with the services recieved. R.S Gibbs was there through every part of the process. They kept us informed and assured us not to worry. They were prompt and precise. Though my aunt was emaciated at the time of her death, they filled her out and dressed her beautifully. She looked absolutely amazing. We are so grateful and recommend them without reservation.

2015-02-03R.S. Gibbs Life Celebrations serviced my family with Grace and Excellence….They have had two of my family members thus far. Both were done with love and top level effort…They made sure that all unnecessary burdens where not on your shoulders but theirs… They are available for you when you need them. My family has now ordained them as personal undertakers... I love them guys…I highly recommend them you will not be disappointed!!!

2018-03-06I lost my grandmother just 60 days after losing my father ....R. S. Gibbs was right there! His all inclusive funeral package allowed me to mourn peacefully without having to run around and plan a funeral. The pain was almost unbearable but he cared for me and my family as if we were his own blood. My grandmother looked like she was sleeping, Beautiful in the face and soft to the touch. This experience has convinced me to make pre arrangements with him for my self . He is undisputedly the BEST!!!!!!
