Never been to a slower place! Waited outside for 6 hours after my appointment time to be tould that there is a dadidicted driver loading ahead of me!
Had pickup with 6pm appointment, spent 4.5hrs to get loaded, the broker King of freight refused to pay detention-think twice before going there.
Worst place I been as a truck driver they dont respect drivers time, it doesnt matter if you get on time for you appointment time for a pickup you will wait long hours just to get a call to pull in and a couple more till they decide to start loading you is just ridiculous how lazy and slow this place is, they skip your turn on that schedule sheet they start to load other drivers that have a later appointments than yours there is no order at all, so if you are driving a day cap truck R.I.P body youll have a a terrible day for sure and a really back pain waiting many hours on u truck.. so poor MANAGEMENT!! GOD.
How is this place still open? What a joke!! Two trucks to load in a day takes 4 hrs? And then they talk to you like youre dirt and you owe them something! Pathetic!!!!

Dont dislike the place but the only day it says your closed is saturday and u receive from 11pm till 2pm the nxt say so sunday u should be there at 2300 right according to the Bls and the signs Ive been there a lot with TMC back in 2006 to 2009 and never had a bad experience with shipping or receiving but over the last few years havent been there till Friday 1/19/2018 and now receiving hrs changed a lot of drivers complain of the load unload times drivers your not the only business they have first impressions are key to the time u get unloaded have a attitude your just going to delay your load unload time patience but I will say that the receiving hrs are bad I got there at 1500 to only find out they stop receiving at 1400 should of looked on bills fully for hrs of receiving I do think they need to update the website of hrs of operation including shipping receiving but no big deal I live 1 hr away
Came here for the pickup to come back home in Chicago...I have been waiting here for 3 hours and 30 min, and still nothing. Don’t wanna spend my restart here :(
Getting better, wait times arent as bad, and most of the staff isnt as rude as they used to be.

2022-02-08They start at 11? At 11:37 I was told it would be a few minutes I was the first truck in the door and finally got unloaded at 12:08. No point in contacting nothing will change. Just warning other drivers not to take loads to or from here.

2021-11-04Not the place you want to come to and pick up steel at if your an OTR driver. Might as well bring your lunch and be prepared to wait or get yelled at by the staff who seems to have NO direction themselves. Im sure itll get blamed on covid though.Horrible experience as a driver coming here, dont plan on coming back. Oh and my favorite part is a place of this size and yet somehow EVERYONE takes a lunch break at the same time at 7:30pm. What a joke this place is.

2021-02-26Terrible experience. Had an 2pm appointment for pick up and showed up early at 1pm. No idea where the shipping office was and tried to look around and the first staff I saw was their driver outside just started bursting instructions. I said ok and parked at the shipping. Checked my self signed and saw nobody over there but bunch off signs that say better wait in truck or else. And been waiting in my truck for 6 hours still no idea when or where or how Ill get loaded tried to call their 1-855-ryerson number but they hung up on me right after the beep and straight went to after call phone service rate system asking how was my experience with them. Worst experience ever.

2020-01-13Coil Receiving: Sunday-Friday 2300-1400.Closed Saturday.I had No problem getting unloaded here.I didnt know Receiving hours until I got here at 13:45.Friendly helpful crew.Thank you!

2019-01-08Even though they dont receive long production steel during daylight hrs they unloaded me anyway. But for future references they receive from 11pm to 6am only. Theres plenty of overnight parking for you if you need to layover until you get dispatched out on your next load.

2019-01-16The receiver is old and cranky and doesnt unload your coils in a timely manner. Try not to unload during daylight hours and just reading the reviews funny if u say something negative they dont respond to you

2017-08-29The gps will take you right there. Dont arrive before your appointment to pick up a load cause you will wait. The actual loading isnt too bad and there is a big dirt parking lot you can park in if your early or you need to take a break.

2020-02-14One star is too much, worst place,SLOW!!!They don’t respect truck drivers,don’t care for delivery appointments ,waiting on parking lot all day for pickup. I have spent more than 8 hours to get loaded, from 2:30 am till 11:00. I’ll never come again!!!!But they have overnight parking
