SERVPRO of South Philadelphia is THE BEST, hands down. From the initial off hours call to them regarding our discovery of a leaking pipe in the below grade crawl space at our home, until they took the last bag of trash from the site, the service was stellar. Our home was treated with care and concern, we were treated with extreme courtesy, our schedules were accommodated in every respect and the overall job was done so very well. There is no sign of any disruption; in fact the area of concern is cleaner and better than ever before. They thought of EVERY concern in advance and addressed things we had not even considered. Over the past couple years, we have hired Servpro for various jobs at our Church and school buildings. Every time, they have been wonderful to work with. They communicate effectively at every stage- scheduling, work and completion. The results are fantastic and their prices are very competitive. Would highly recommend them for emergency and scheduled projects!
We had an area in the ceiling of our daughter’s room that had moisture and mold on the drywall. ServPro did their initial assessment and then returned with a two man team to remove the affected areas, check for mold and treat. They were very communicative of their process throughout. Most important to us, aside from the mold assessment/removal, they kept the work area spotless and provided thorough cleaning of the room upon completion. So important for a child’s room! Miguel, the crew chief, later went above and beyond and was reachable directly by phone when we had questions later that night. This is a company who knows how to provide quality service and is also an expert in their field. What more could you ask for? :)
ServPro of SoPhilly/SE Delco was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. From the office scheduler to the folks who came to do the work, everyone was friendly and professional. Dedicated, high-professional team that knows their stuffOn Sunday night, April 14, 2019 at 10:30pm we got the onerous call from our fire alarm company informing us that the alarm system detected water movement in the basement. That meant a fire was raging in the basement of our recently lovingly restored, historic 10,000 square-foot former dairy building. The fire was a six-alarm electrical fire in the basement with 40 fire fighters, police and the fire chief.On Monday morning the first thing i did after calling our insurance company and getting a claim number, was to call ServPro. My first point of contact was the voice of a calm, pleasant woman who assured me that they would be right over.As I walked to the building I was overwhelmed and in a state of shock. It was too much to process. The building smelled like burnt bacon and everything, I mean everything -- literally every single square inch, was covered in pitch-black smoke.The sooty smoke permeated every square inch of this building and I was distraught. But friendly, professional ServPro people were at the ready for me. There was so much damage that we had to have two ServPro franchises - the South Philadelphia franchise and the Bucks County franchise.Mike, the owner of the South Philly franchise devised a battle plan to strategically clean the building. Because the fire was an electrical fire, the smoke was oily and sooty and could not be cleaned by conventional methods.... every single surface had to be cleaned with dry chemical sponges. Those sponges were true magical wands.Mike appointed his project crew chief, Miguel Alicea and Miguel was our point of contact for three, arduously long months. Miguel was more than a consummate professional - he was our psychiatrist, he knew the intense pressure we were under, he listened, he made us laugh, he assured us, he was there for us. The other members of the crew, notably Cordon and Ron were also equally professional, courteous and kind.To say that ServPro accomplished something short of a miracle is an understatement. Our 3,000 square-foot concrete bunker of a basement, where the fire started, was as black as a dungeon. Pipes melted down, our electrical system melted down, our intercom system melted down. The three artists who were renting the space lost everything. Nine 30-foot dumpsters came out of the building. 6,000 square feet of acoustical ceiling tile had to be trashed and replaced with new. There was three inches of water in the basement from the firefighters. The basement was literally a carcinogenic fire scene.So ServPro waved their magic wand and accomplished another miracle -- they sandblasted the entire basement, the concrete floors, ceilings and walls with baking soda.Every single item on every single shelf, bookcase and drawer had to be dry-wiped. Every single computer, monitor, screen, keyboard, server, CPU and mouse had to professionally cleaned by a computer restoration specialist. Every appliance in the entire building had to be professionally cleaned. The entire building had to be repainted. Doors had to be repaired.And through all the long days as the weather grew warmer, then hotter, none of those ServPro guys ever complained. They did their work with a smile and they comforted and assured us throughout the entire three months.I cannot thank everyone at ServPro for their kind, easy-going personalities, their genuine concern and empathy and for all their hard word. They all went beyond professionalism -- each one of them gave us their personal cell phones and every single time we called any of them, they picked up the phone on the first ring.My hats are off to ServPro of South Philly -- our building is truly better, cleaner and newer than it has ever been. Like ServPros tag line goes, Like It Never Even Happened. Exactly!
In August, I found that I had a mold problem in my car after a window was left open during rainstorm. My dealership wanted around 25k to replace all the interior components (seats, trim, etc), and even then they couldn’t promise it would be out of the ventilation system. That made no sense so I kept looking.It was hard to find someone who would sew with an automotive mold remediation - most companies in this space only do buildings. After several google searches and phone calls I finally came across Serv Pro of South Philly. They told me to bring my car in and were able to take of it with no fuss. After they finished, the car was cleaner than it had ever been and smelled of spices rather than harsh chemicals. Several weeks later everything is back to normal and no sign of the mold coming back.Thank you Serv Pro for saving me from writing off my car!
This company takes very long of their projects. They try to find everything to charge you for. They employees are hoodlums that has no professionalism. Jon, William and cordon are by far the best workers there and they can find better. If you use this company get those three they are great and they actually care about the customer.

2022-02-18We had a kitchen fire in June of 2021 that destroyed our kitchen had smoke damage through our house. Michael and his team were out within hours of the fire to begin the cleaning process. They took care of every step along the way to restore our home. It is now clean, safe and beautiful.During a disaster you need a professional, and that’s just what you get with this company.

2022-04-08This company is very unprofessional, and do not value the service of their customers or employees. They treat their employees like slaves, and the companys turnover rate is very high because they dont value their workers. The general manager, Kim Boone, constantly complains about customers that call in for service, and she disrespects the employees by reprimanding them in front of their fellow employees. They are rude at this franchise and management do not speak to employees, besides giving orders and reprimands. This specific franchise do not deserve service from the community because they do not value their customers or employees. They have unsanitary methods for cleaning materials and equipment, and theres cross contamination happening daily. I just ask that you think twice before giving this specific franchise your business. I wish you all peace, love, and light.

2022-04-08I do not suggest anyone give this company your business. This specific franchise is unsanitary and their methods of cleaning does not ensure proper restoration. Ive witnessed the unprofessionalism and total disrespect to their employees and customers. I worked at this franchise very briefly, and was treated unfairly and discriminated against. I am a US Army veteran; Ive sacrificed my life for our country, and I love and value the community I live in. The way myself, current employees, and customers were mistreated by this franchise, left me with a disdain towards this organization. As a homeowner, I will not give any Servpro organization my service or business again, and I would advise you all to seek service elsewhere. Your service isnt valued here.

2022-05-04Recent renovation to surgery center...requiring deep cleaning in preparation to re-opening as well as inspection by the DOH. Process went very well and we were very pleased with their service. Foreman and staff were very efficient, polite and amenable to any changes to their usual process that we requested. Highly recommend this ServPro establishment.

2021-10-22My father had a home Electrical fire in Washington Township, NJ on a Saturday in early May. I called SERVPRO of South Philadelphia / SE Delaware County and they were out that day to evaluate the extent of the damage. Luckily the fire was contained to the electrical box but the smoke damage throughout the house was extensive. Michael Graham, Kim Boone and the rest of their team came in and did unbelievable work. They cleaned the entire house top to bottom (including the attic), inventoried and packed all of his belonging, painted the whole house, installed new carpets, new electrical and re-insulated the attic. They also called in professionals to take care of the dry cleaning, art work restoration and all of the electronics. The house looks brand new and thats all because of SERVPRO. Mike and Kim also dealt with our insurance company so I never had that headache, which I hear can be the part that makes you lose sleep.Thanks for the great job!!!!!!!!

2021-06-02This company is AWESOME!! I needed restoration late evening for one of my tenants. My call was answered and a crew was quickly sent out. Very professional and did not stop until the job was completely finished. Provided real-time photos and thorough reporting....Highly recommend using them.

2021-05-24The staff at Serv-Pro continue to provide WOW service. They most recently completed the cleaning of all our dryer ducts in our buildings. From the establishment of a schedule to completion of the job, they adhered to the schedule and completed all requested work as contracted. The project representative followed up to make sure that we were satisfied. I would definitely use them again.

2020-07-10We had a pipe break that caused a lot of water damage over two floors. ServPro came in and seamlessly handled the cleanup. They moved all our contents (clearly labeling all the boxes) and were very thoughtful in setting up the fans/dehumidifiers and taping off areas. They also worked very well with our insurance company so I didn’t have to go back and forth between the two. Highly recommend them to handle any water damage cleanup.

2019-12-11What a wonderful staff of people! Our church basement took on some water and a mold problem occurred. The staff at SERVPRO of South Philadelphia was kind, courteous and prompt at helping us navigate the situation. Their team came in and took care of everything. They were very patient and understanding as we worked out a payment plan. At no time were we made to feel lees than. Thank you so much, SERVPRO! I highly recommend them. Read their list of services.
