You wont find a more scenic bar and restaurant with easy free parking. This restaurant and bar is located at the Courtyard by Marriott. The bar has ample seating at the bar, and around it and there is also outdoor seating. Youll be able to see ships sailing by and stunning sunsets. The bartender and servers are attentive and the food was outstanding. I found the food prices fair, though the martinis seemed a little bit pricey. However, you are at a resort destination, so it is to be expected. However, the sailing ship and the sunset you see in the pictures were captured from this bar & grille and the martini was delicious.
Delicious and unique food in a beautiful setting with top notch service. My only regret was not trying more of the menu!
Wonderful people, wonderful food, and great prices! Super romantic seating and just overall wonderful experience! Being able to jump right into the elevator after and sleep off the food coma is a HUGE plus!
Amazing food. We have eaten here several times over the past year. The food is always consistent, and always delicious. My husband and I absolutely love the restaurant and environment. The service is always amazing. However, one server stands out the most from any visit. Giselle, is always pleasant and goes above and beyond to ensure we always receive exemplary customer service. She is always friendly and always smiling and knows the menu extremely well. We’ve had the pleasure of sitting in her section several times and we always enjoy her. We come for the food, but when we want world class service we come to Shoreline.

Experience of a lifetime. Our server Gavin was on top of it and never left us waiting for a thing. Our meal was to die for. The filet was like butter, the risotto was beyond incredible. Full of flavor and texture was perfect. Along with the crisp and perfectly cooked asparagus. An incredible experience all around. Thank you.
Great place. Not the average hotel restaurant. Highly recommend the nachos, salmon, Caesar salad, and the pineapple mule. Great views as well overlooking Erie bay. No need to venture out of the hotel. Rachel was my server & she was awesome!

Giselle and Lauren were great! They rate 5 stars, my issue was with the time it took to get food after ordering. It really was longer than what I would expect when it wasnt super busy. My sons girlfriend and I ordered the steak and both were over cooked by a lot. Giselle did take them back and had them re-fired and they were much better, but the rest of the party had finished while we ate our dinner. My son had to send the chips back as they were, or at least tasted stale. Giselle also took care of that and had a fresh batch made. The pretzel bites were very good, the cheese sauce was very tasty. Not a fan of the pizza, wouldnt order that again, but the spicy shrimp cups were a hit.
Owen was the bartender and recommended the ooey gooey cake which was delicious. Owen was great and very personable! I will certainly be coming back here soon and will bring my friends!!
I came here for the burger but Giselle directed me to the tacos and, oh. My. These things are the best! Come here if you’re looking for an adventure in taste!
The team at Shoreline B&G did a great job. The food and service was fantastic. Giselle was our server and she did a great job with recommendations for cocktails and dinner. We shared the Shoreline salad, Fish Tacos and Chicken Enchiladas. Had such a nice experience, were headed back there again tonight.
Kathleen was wonderful. Service with quick and flawless. Perfect sunset. Finished the night with delicious peanut butter pie.

Limited menu but pretty delicious. Little smaller than expected portion on the walleye but it was perfectly prepared. Wife had the club sandwich. It was huge and really good. She also loved the French onion soup. Shoreline Old Fashioned was fantastic! Pretty decent wine list. And above average bourbon/scotch/whiskey selection.
Giselle was amazing!! She was so friendly and relaxing!! Didn’t rush us, made great suggestions from menu and made one heck of a blackberry Mimosa!! The atmosphere is perfect!! Pair that with the most tasty food and hands down you have an amazing experience!! I will definitely be back to this restaurant when I am back in Erie!!!!
I stayed at the hotel for the weekend - I came down to the Shoreline Bar & Grill and my server was Harrison. He was quick and very friendly. It was the best service I’ve had in a very long time. He took the time to answer questions we had and filled our drinks even before we asked. I’ll definitely come back because of the great atmosphere, food, and service.
Shoreline Bar and Grille was a delicious place to eat! Food was served promptly in spite of the crowded dining area. Our waitress, Giselle, was excellent—-polite, professional, friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. You are fortunate to have her as an employee and ambassador to your restaurant. We really enjoyed her as our waitress!
The atmosphere was great. The staff was great. The menu is very limited. It is set up for more of a lunch/brunch type meal than dinner, sandwich foods and finger foods. Lots of drink items!

Looking for a simple lunch on a rainy, windy day during a short stay in Erie, we decided to do the hotel restaurant. Fast and friendly service from Giselle, and a great salad for me and sandwich for my wife. It was nice to sit and watch the rain and wind in the bright room, lined end to end with full-story windows looking out on the bay. The menu is not huge, but it had a good options at various price points.
It is always a pleasure dining at the Bayfront Shoreline Grille. Both times that my family and I have come it’s been a great time. Giselle has been fantastic as our server both times as well. She’s incredibly personable, easy to talk to, and she does her job incredibly well and efficiently. Our food has tasted immaculate and left all of us feeling satisfied.
We have eaten at the Shoreline Bar & Grille several times during our stay at Courtyard Erie Bayside. We brought our newly-acquired dog, Captain, and we were able to bring him with us to a table on the side. All the servers were great! A special shout out to Giselle who served us on many occasions ! She never missed a step, and was very thoughtful by accommodating Captain with attention and a bowl of water. Captain loved her! She was outstanding in every way and even though we were seated a bit off the beaten path because of our dog, we were attended to timely and graciously. Food and drinks were great… we tried several different menu items and enjoyed them all. Five barks from Captain! :)

The menu on the site is not accurate and very few dinner options. We each had the flank steak for $32 which was very tough that was only served with fries. No bread, no salad. We saw people coming in and looking at the menu and leaving after the server had greeted them. There was no background music so it was very quiet since there were so few tables on a Saturday night. This was definitely a one and done. Two stars only because our server was good.
Giselle was our severer this evening for our first time here. She was FABULOUS 👌. 10/10 RECOMMEND. She helped us with drinks which were amazing with her perfect added touch and the food she suggested was great. If youre looking to visit Erie this summer come here! The beautiful Erie sunset enhanced the dining experience. Service by Giselle was friendly and fast. Menu was not too elaborate but offered some good fare. Food was served at the right temperature.

If the hostess was actually at her post we wouldve sat down sooner. We waited over 20 minutes for her to notice us and wait on us. She was knowledgeable about the menu and made a great tasting old fashioned. The experience was just ok.
I went there with some friends on a Sunday night, and there was no wait! We got a table outside with a view of the lake, which also have tilting umbrellas for shade. The food was delicious, with an average wait time. The margaritas werent great, but the other drinks were!
Friendly service and they always have a special. Fabulous view of Presque Bay and the food tastes great. So nice to have a good quality meal at the hotel where I stay. Keeps things simple.
This restaurant was phenomenal! My steak was perfectly cooked and my waiter, Giselle was great. The vibe was awesome and the dessert was beautiful. Giselle has great service and was so friendly. This restaurant couldn’t have been better. If I could rate this restaurant a 6/5 then I would. Giselle memorized every dessert and told them to us in detail.

We were passing through Erie and decided to stop here for dinner. Giselle served us some delicious cocktails, and we had the chicken enchiladas and wagyu burger. The service was fairly quick and attentive and the food was great.

Bad food/good drinks. I’m from Ohio here in Erie visiting my daughter and her family. My daughter and I had lunch here and the food was not good. Very surprised that a restaurant couldn’t pull off a simple grilled chicken sandwich but my sandwich tasted burnt. It was not burnt, maybe the grill wasn’t clean, maybe something was burned on the grill and my sandwich cooked on it immediately afterwards but it tasted horrible.The prickly pear margarita was good but I came here to enjoy lunch with my daughter and while I enjoyed the time with her our food was not good at all. I would not recommend this establishment for the food menu.
We went to shoreline bar and grill twice last weekend and we had AMAZING experiences both times!! Our servers were Joe and Giselle and their hospitality and professionalism were unparalleled!! 10/10 recommend dining here!
In Erie for work and in need of a quick meal. Went to the Shoreline grill, conveniently located in the hotel lobby. My server, Giselle, suggested the Waygu burger and it was delicious!! Great food, great atmosphere, and excellent service! Def coming back!

The Shoreline Bar & Grille is a very good restaurant located in the Marriott Courtyard on Lake Erie. The service is always excellent, especially Giselle. The food is always fresh and delicious. We always eat here when we are staying at the hotel.
Kyleen was great! Stayed on top of refills and got our food out to us fresh and hot. Food was likewise great. Good place for a relaxed lunch looking out on the lake.

Best crab cakes in Erie. Fries are good. Their BLT salad comes as an iceberg lettuce wedge and all the ingredients in separate piles.This restaurant also has one of the best views of the lake in Erie.
We loved our dinner at the Shoreline! Fish and chips were delicious with a great tartar sauce. My grilled cheese and tomato bisque were spectacular and the sweet potato tots were an an excellent upgrade. Drinks from the bar were well made. We also loved the evening ambiance and lighting. This restaurant has a beautiful view of Lake Erie. We came here after bike riding at Presque Isle and enjoyed hanging by the lake while enjoying our dinner. I had a very good mango drink which was on special.
It was a beautiful Saturday evening in February. The sun setting provided a nice backdrop for dinner. The waitress (Theresa) was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Proper Covid safety measures were in place and being practiced by all staff members.I had the fish tacos (per Theresas recommendation) with a VooDoo Brewing Company Good Vibes IPA. Even though it was 20° outside, it felt like we had escaped to a southern destination!They have a nice selection of bourbons as well. I enjoyed a Woodford Reserve on the rocks. Very smooth and enjoyable drink.Ill be eager to return during the summer months for some outdoor dining next to the water.

Great small restaurant/bar in the Courtyard by Marriott. Even though they were slammed with a large cheerleading and dance competition at the connected convention center, they served quickly in the restaurant and takeout. The food was affordable, with prices similar to an Applebees or Chilis. Wish they served Coke products.
This place is fantastic. Not only does it have fantastic views, but the salmon dinner was one of the best I have had in Erie. Thank you for the one of a kind flavors! Excellent dinner!

Wish you could get a steak there.The only seafood is lake Erie walleye.Please expand the menu for breakfast lunch and dinner.Excellent sunsets here also.

I love this place it gives me a sense of comfort in the madness that ensues in the world. my life has all amounted to being able to enjoy a nice cuisine and respect a variety of cultures served. The staff is phenomenal as they are beyond gregarious and charismatic. The dishes themselves were superb and held such rich and inviting flavors. An explosion of pure bliss hits my taste buds and pleasures every last bud. I must without a doubt say this place is heaven on earth when it comes to an experience.
Our server, Jessica, was simply wonderful. My boyfriend and I were visiting the area and googled “best fries in Erie”. Shoreline came up as an option so we decided to give it a chance. We are very glad that we did because the friend were great. Jessica went out of her way to be personable, attentive and extremely professional. She just added to the enjoyment of our meal.

I came to this hotel restaurant with my brother at the beginning of October. We were seated outside by the fire pit and there was a beautiful view of the lake a few yards away which was great during sunset. The pineapple mule is fruity and delicious. The pretzel bites and chips and guac are tasty appetizers! We got the chicken sandwich and shoreline salad for dinner. Such fast service! Dessert to top it off was the perfect end to the perfect experience at this restaurant. Thank you Janie for being such an amazing waitress

Food was tasty, had a hard time choosing what to get. Got the crispy chicken, which was hot and juicy. The view was great, wish the weather was warmer to sit outside. The service was really great, very friendly, Tara did an awesome job.
We visited here late on Friday evening after a long drive. The atmosphere was very nice and our server, Jessica, was excellent. On her recommendation we had Blackened Walleye and Cheesy chicken enchiladas. Both entrees were delicious! We also enjoyed the Prickly Pear margaritas. We would definitely recommend the Shoreline Bar and Grille for a low key dinner with a nice view of the bay.
A comfortably relaxed atmosphere with a scenic view off the south shore of Lake Erie. Engaged and efficient staff at both the bar and restaurant tables. Tasty dishes and great bar selection. Ashley was or waitress which made our meal a more enjoyable experience, she was friendly, polite and attentive.Thank you from both of us.
Had dinner and drinks while staying here. Katie was my server and was great, attentive, and had fantastic suggestions. Got the Bees Knees cocktail and the Pineapple Mule and they were great. Solid club sandwich and delicious rosemary chips. I recommend this highly when you are here.
First time in Erie PA stayed at the Marriott hadn’t eaten all day and this place was Amazing. Right in the lobby the view is fantastic and cheesy enchiladas were delicious. Savannah was so attentive and provided superb service. Thank you.
The lakeside dining is kind of a gimmick to keep you at the hotel but the food is decent and the bar is excellent. The service was top notch and you cant beat the view and ambiance.

I give it 2 stars because it really is an amazing view and the service was decent. But overall was expecting way more because of the reviews and the fact that its Marriott. Had the salmon entree and honestly it just wasnt good at all. It was overcooked and not flavorful at all. When I saw the asparagus and saw the color I knew it also was gonna be overcooked and mushy. Friend had the steak and it also was tough and not flavorful. On a plus note the friend the had the club said it was amazing. I hand to admit when I saw the club it did look more amazing than my dish. So apparently main entrees not so good but sandwiches are the go to. Maybe it just wasnt a good night since it was so busy? Just going by my personal experience tonight. Bland food. Not impressed.
Very disappointed with the service and food . Used to be one our goto restaurants but its off the list after our last experience. Had to go fund server for our drink we ordered. Food was disappointing, tomato soup was not good and sandwiches were very plain.

Really nice place, great relaxed atmosphere, not too pricey. Food was flavorful and fresh. They have a variety of options. Staff was very nice and helpful! Our server Adam was awesome. For a small hotel restaurant, it seems run very well. After dinner, we walked outside along the water and it was so nice. Didnt like the dog friendly thing because people with me were severely allergic and there were just too many dogs.

The only downside is that the menu is on the smaller side. Other than that we had a great experience. Our waitress was friendly and personable. The views are excellent, both inside and outside. An attractive restaurant in a very nice location overlooking the lake. We visited on a Sunday evening and all outdoor seating was already taken. I imagine getting a seat would be even more challenging if there was a large event at the convention center next door.The menu is quite limited. Mostly light meals and sandwiches. I think there were only three or four entrees. You might think that, with a simple menu, service would be fast, but we had to wait quite a while. Some tables that were seated before us had their food sooner, so maybe something went wrong on the kitchen, but there was no explanation or apology.Still, Id likely visit again.

We sat at the bar while we waited and the bartender was good, he was able to customize some of the drinks on the menu for us and they were great. The chicken Caesar salad was pretty good, the dressing is better than most imo. The steak was pretty disappointing, it was a little overcooked and somewhat flavorless. The fried were great.

I absolutely love this restaurant the staff and environment are very friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing and and I have never had a bad meal here and it has the best view in my opinion. The management is top of the line and it is the cleanest hotel/restaurant I have ever been to. I recommend the flat iron frites which is a steak and it was absolutely delectable the garlic butter on top was the cherry on the cake. One of the cheaper options would be the Erie burger the white barbecue sauce is to die for. The best dessert they have would be the peanut butter pie is better than my grandmas I would highly suggest getting it.

2022-01-15We had lunch here following a gymnastic competition, which was held next door at the convention center. The menu was limited but delicious - the homemade chips were flavorful! Our server, Giselle, was friendly and so sweet to our daughter, bringing big smiles and grins. The winter views across the frozen bay encouraged us to explore Presque Isle before returning home. Will consider eating here again the next time we’re in town.

2021-08-26Beautiful location on Lake Erie and great food. They have indoor and outdoor seating with a bar inside. Entrance is located in the hotel lobby (Marriott). Outdoors has unobstructed views of the bay. They have kids menu items although they arent listed on the regular menu and we saw a number of families eating. Theres a boardwalk and green area accessible from the outdoor seating where kids can run around safely in clear sight if they need to. Food is American fare with some seafood options. Tasty comfort food.
