Have this mid century modern coffee table. It was in terrible shape and the only option I seemed to have was replace the top.Found Solano’s and they said no worries - they picked it up, brought it back a few weeks later, and wow!Grateful for the ease of the whole project. It’s not so easy to get things done during a pandemic!Thanks Dency!

I left two messages approximately 2-3 weeks ago stating that I had 8 dining room chairs that needed to be reupholstered. I never got a return phone call. If they didnt want to come to New Jersey, or only did the work for Philly residents, all they had to do was call me and let me know.I found a wonderful craftsman about 30 minutes from my house, and the repairs were done in 4 days.

Having worked with Solanos on various projects -- large and small -- over the course of several years, I have always been exceedingly satisfied with the quality of work, timeliness, and Dencys warm and friendly service and attentiveness. I have used Solanos for upholstery work as well as wood refinishing. I often recommend Solanos to friends, and I look forward to working with them more in the future!

I have worked with Denzi on several occasions and have had an absolutely fantastic experience. She is extremely helpful when choosing fabrics, coordinating colors, and providing overall guidance. There is no better place to go to get work done than Solanos !

This is my first negative review, and though I did not want to write it, I do not want others to experience what I experienced with Solano’s. They misrepresented their ability to repair a dining room table I inherited from my great-grandparents. They claimed to make “repairs” I didn’t authorize and didn’t correct the problem we paid them for. They refuse to refund our money, though the repair was never made and the table now has an additional problem—the leaves no longer completely close. They say they don’t provide refunds and that we haven’t given them the opportunity to correct the issue. In fact, we have given them four chances, and the table has not been repaired. I would not be surprised if they write a response that tries to negate this review. However, we would rather lose our money than allow them to further harm this family heirloom.

Weve used Solanos for a couple of restorations and reupholstering jobs. Dency in the shop is a sweetheart and the fellows that deliver have always been careful maneuvering in tight spaces. They just dropped off a chair-and-a-half and I think it is better than when it was brand new.

Solanos reupholstered our couch and wing back chair in a beautiful grey linen fabric that is coated with a product to keep it clean. The skill with which they handled these two pieces of furniture was unparalleled. They stripped the old, high polished gloss on the mahogany and applied a lovely satin stain on the couch and chair. All my living room tables were also stripped of the high gloss finish including an old English tea table with intricate fretwork. Now they look fresh and modern. The larger projects Solanos did for us were our large dining room table, our Chinese Chippendale bedroom suite that is so old and brittle we were afraid it wouldnt withstand the stripping process. But Solanos knows what they are doing and now our bedroom furniture looks better than ever. We had it refinished twenty years ago by another company and they put a high gloss finish on it that had bubbles and dust trapped within. Solanos removed all of that ugly gloss and applied the most lovely stain to bring out the grain in the wood as well as in all of the tiny crevices, scroll work and fretwork. Solanos attention to detail is paramount. It started in the office with Dencie. She spent hours with us picking the upholstery and explaining the entire process. The most capable restorer came to our home to look at each piece of furniture and explained what he could accomplish with each piece. He is an artist and has hands as skilled as Michaelangelo. We have recommended Solanos to friends and family. Nearly every piece of furniture in our home has been lovingly restored by Solanos so we know how great their work is!

Me and my wife were thinking about buying new chairs for our dining table and then I heard of Solano upholstery. We thought to give it a try and their work is extraordinary. It was really happy and hassle free experience.
