This shop could have been open this whole Pandemic with some walk up windows. It would have been so easy and would have still been making a profit with no foot traffic inside the store. Starbucks just gave up without a fight. Walkup windows and displys in the windows for people to choose other things.WOW, this is probably the worst Starbucks Ive ever been in. Nothing is stocked . I know there not a lot of traffic on the weekend here in Allentown but the customers that do take the time to get up and walk here are very loyal customers. Did anybody take the time to teach the owner of this Starbucks how to run a coffee shop
Right down the street from my job, super convenient location. The staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable. They have great recommendations, I’ve never been to a Starbucks that is so knowledgeable about the menu and range of options available. Every order is right and generally ready very quickly, sometimes gets busy at lunch time but never an extremely long wait.
It is a Great location and beautiful setting. Nice rating there for sure! Only Im not a fan of the whole extremely expensive beverages!I do recommend the all good for your body and skin, iced Green Tea. It IS pretty good I suppose for the proce it aight.
If you know me, then you know this is my home Starbucks. Ive been there since day 1. And over the years I have met awesome people from the staff, who treat me great. To the people I meet on a daily basis. I have forged some great relationship here. Oh yeah, the coffee. Thats great too. The only down part is its a licensed store so not able to use my rewards from my Gold cars.
I stop here several times a week, as its right across the street from my office. The staff are friendly, the line isnt ever too long, and theres usually a place to sit... I dont know what else should be expected from a coffee shop.Note that this is a Starbucks franchise, not Starbucks-owned. I think that were initially issues with accepting some gift cards or coupons when this particular store opened, though things seem to be running smoothly now.
This place does not deserve more than one star, this place is very racist and prejudiced, I was discriminated just for the way I look and because I took longer in waiting for the person I was going to meet to enjoy a cup coffee and talk about our business, o never bought anything since the shift manager asked me to leave. And his groundless explanation was that I always go to place and never buy, anything, which is a lie, that was my second time in that particular store. I hope that people who feel offended when there discriminated will ould think twice before going to specific store
Super friendly helpful service. They have a full range of Starbucks product offerings. Great lounge area and of course free WiFi.9 months later I stand by that review. For the Starbucks Rewards members note that this is not a corporate store. You cant redeem here but your purchases count toward challenges. Your purchases do earn stars at the usual rate.6/24/2018 Despite the Starbucks app recent claims, you still cant redeem rewards here.
I got a dry cappuccino and they did a good job making it. You know what youre getting with Starbucks theyre very consistent. Theres definitely better small mom-and-pop shops out there that make better cups of coffee.
I usually enjoy my Starbucks experience but this location is hit or miss. Usually, tables arent clean and the staff is rude. We had to order to get the bathroom code. I thought that stuff only happened in times past.
I LOVED coming here in the mornings to study and the staff were really nice and welcoming, until yesterday when I ordered a large green tea that was nasty I went to the counter and asked them if they could make me a passion tea instead and the manager said she couldnt make me another tea which is strange because anytime I was not satisfied with a drink they always made me a new one, I explained that to her and she told me the the workers were not suppose to remake my drink and that I had to pay for a new tea. So I gave her the drink and told her I didnt want it she then told me she couldnt refund me my money and to give it to a friend she was very rude and I was so pissed off that I didnt say anything I just left. So corporate will definitely here from me !!
Very quick service, however the employees are quite rude sometimes. Today, i requested a drink that was no longer offered, and the woman at the register seemed very annoyed and sighed when she told me that they do not have the type of iced tea that i wanted, which was a peach green tea lemonade. Yet when i was sitting in the cafè area with my other drink of choice, they made someone else a green tea lemonade. Why wasn’t this suggested to me instead?? I would have taken the green tea lemonade instead of the other drink I had purchased...

Im a Starbucks fan, and Ive been to my fair share of Starbucks locations both in the Lehigh Valley and elsewhere in the country. Hands-down, this is the best Starbucks Ive been to and its my absolute favorite one. Im fortunate that I work nearby and get to go quite often.Its location on Hamilton Street gives it a big-city feel with small-city pricing. The seating is spacious with great views out of the windows, and its hard to believe that youre actually in Downtown Allentown.Its super clean and always fully stocked with fresh items. Ive never gone in and been told that the item I wanted was out of stock.The line moves quickly, and the Baristas are amazing. They are super friendly and always make my drink absolutely perfect.This store is the one that should set the bar for all Starbucks locations.
Some of the staff are extremely rude. I normally would stop at a Starbucks every single morning before work; but once I moved to city center and discover how uninviting this Starbucks is I try to limit my visit as much as possible.
Nice Roomy Starbucks. If you cant support the local coffee shop around the corner, this will do. Just skip the new Cloud Drink. Yuck. I am trying to flush the taste from my mouth a day later.
This location is a franchise location but they have taken efforts to achieve parity with the nearby corporate locations. This is definitely a good place to sit down and get some work done in the downtown Allentown area. The hours do leave much to be desired hence the 4-Star rating,
Great location, nice large windows. The worst service Ive ever received that a Starbucks. The baristas (Dante especially) were extremely rude and it felt like it came out of nowhere.
Would not make me a light roast coffee on the weekend even when they had the beans. Very very barebones Starbucks with virtually no customer service. Will be getting my coffee at the hotel tomorrow.
They made several mistakes1. They let my shot die in the cup and I had to tell them exactly when to add it to my frappe2. They forgot to add the milk chocolate and marshmallow whip3. I ordered soy and they almost served me whole milk4. They almost put in the wrong blender5. They forgot the graham cracker toppingI understand small mistakes but they missed half of the entire recipe for my smores frappe and then almost served me several incorrect drinks. I should have to watch my drink being made to make sure its made correctly.
Nice, easy going environment. Shy, my barista, was super helpful w/ a recommendation I asked. Definitely worth the visit just keep in mind its city traffic across PPL.
Expensive! ! But the pumpkin spice latte was good. I like dunking/Macdonald coffee better. Im glad I was not paying. $17 for 2 coffees 2 danishes. Crazy.
My son and daughter love coming to Starbucks I am not a fan because Im not a coffee drinker but they rave over these drinks I find them to be a little pricey and the lines to be a little long but over all great product

Ive been looking for a good cafe to sit and study a while and normally the last place I would go to is a starbucks but I went pretty late on a Sunday and it was actually not bad at all the service here was great very friendly and overall it was a pleasant experience.
The employee was rude told me we have a no product policy. if you are not going to buy anything you cant stay here. I was 15 minutes ago got a ice coffee just went outside to take a phone call. came back in to charge my phone. so was the other employees. I will never go back in there again!!! very rude

Its fine as Starbucks go. The downside is that you cant use rewards there as its not a corporate store, though you can at least pay with the Starbucks app.
It,s my new favorite place to stop while down town, staff, is very friendly , work diligently to get your order complete, its very clean, and cozy for a coffee shop.

Be careful. This is not an actual store even though it looks like one. It is a franchisee connected to the hotel across the street. They will not take rewards, but you can still earn stars.
Barista was super rude!!!!!!1 they close at 7 and i was there at 6 and they were packing up!!!!!!!!! super rude about giving me my iced coffee and were talking about me as i left!!!! never go here!!!! they are rude and mean!!!!!

2021-11-18Very nice Starbucks. I loved the decors . Very spacious.I loved the location. I dont want to sat the day, but we were here Sunday morning in November. Barista who served us was a little not very nice, didnt smile, felt like he was in rush even though no one was behind us, other people came in while we were jn the middle of the order.Other than that great store.No drive throughI believe there are public bathrooms

2018-12-04Starbucks experience was normal but I must say the interior of this place is really really cool. Is incredibly comfortable and spacious, with no drafts by the seating which is important in the winter.

2021-07-22As a Starbucks Supervisor for a year and a customer for much much longer, I am well aware of what Starbucks policies are and how they are to be implemented and this store obviously does not know the L.A.T.T.E customer service model that corporate has for their own stores and expects from franchised stores. This store (per what I can see in other reviews) likes to bully other baristas and partners that come in. The manager was so mean and rude to me and all I wanted was drink with 2% milk remade with Almond milk. I called corporate Starbucks and they apologized profusely and assured me that I was indeed correct about the policies that this store seems to think they can ignore because they have made up their own policies. It is a nice location and I was only here for vacation and I ended up having to avoid this location and go to this other wonderful local coffee place down the street. I was there on my first day of my vacation and this one rude experience really clouded my vacation experience. The district manager was sent a message regarding their inappropriate behaviors and understanding of company policy and I hope that this store is able to learn what the true Third Place experience is supposed to be.

2021-04-20They are always rude when I go there. I have worked at a Starbucks for over 2 years and I have been going to Starbucks for even longer but I try to avoid this particular corporate store. The manager is rude and scolds costumers for policies that don’t exist. I know they are a corporate store but that doesn’t mean I need to be scolded and told my store should be following these rules this particular store obviously made up. The baristas are nice occasionally but are always overshadowed by the sour behavior of the manager who always seems to be up front speaking for them. I feel bad for them really. The location is so nice looking and so is the lighting but if they are rude and the drinks are always made wrong then I have a hard time wanting to go there. I had a salted sweet cream cold foam cold brew made with salt and nonfat milk instead of sweet cream and salt one time. Worst think I have ever tried to drink.

2019-08-11I like the location. We went here Sunday morning and it wasnt busy. We got a parking easily. They have outdoor seating as well which was good as we had our puppy with us. Staff is really good. Restrooms are only for customers and they were very clean.
