Stoltzfus RV in other cities:
Excellent! Just picked up our new trailer that we ordered about 2 months ago. We were customers who know exactly what we wanted. Lee, our salesperson, was very easy to work with. He was informational but was not high pressure, just honest and factual which I prefer. I think it is worth paying a little more to buy from a local dealer just to support local business and have local service available, but I didnt even have to. They gave me a very fair price that was about the same as those wholesalers . I am not sure why you would travel and spend gas money when you can get a fair deal here! Pick up went very smoothly as well, the 2 fellows in the shop were very knowledge able and friendly. (sorry forgot their names)We have had several pop-up trailers and then several regular trailers over the years. We missed the closeness to nature the pop up provided, but did not want to lose the fridge or bathroom so we are excited to take our new Shamrock 235S out on its first trip! This is the first we have used Stoltzfus and I feel confident that the family-owned, honest vibe I got from who worked there is not misplaced. Would definitely recommend.
We recently took delivery of our Freedom Express from Wayne at Stoltzfus.Very simple and smooth buying experience. The dealership went over the trailer and made sure everything was good to go prior to pick up day.Chuck went over the operation of everything with us and the hitch system was installed quickly and adjusted perfectly.
Always friendly, down to earth, and just great people! We bought our travel trailer from Wayne, who was very helpful and knowledgable, even working with us when our plans for purchasing got set back by our house flooding (thanks, mother nature). They have a great selection of new and used campers at really good prices, do a full walkthrough and take the time to make sure you know what youre doing if youre completely inexperienced like we were. The store has everything you could possibly need, and things you may not think about needing. And today, we dropped off for a service appointment only to realize Id made the appointment at the other location. They were very helpful and were able to take us anyway. Huge thanks for being amazing and understanding!!Will always recommend people come here for purchasing, parts, and service!
Sent our camper to get the auto level fixed picked it up and the battery was dead and the camper was so low we couldn’t get under it. Got it home finally and the auto level still does not work. We are very unsatisfied with the service we received. We also asked them to look at the steps to see if we could add another she said they would measure and give us a call to tell us if it was possible unfortunately they never followed up with that the only call we received was the one saying it was done we could pick it up.
Im only giving 2 stars based on the sales person not necessarily the dealership. I was working with Lee for not even a month asking about this one RV (not scheduled to be in until March/April) I was ready to put a deposit down, then started second guessing my decision on if the specific RV was right for me. After thinking about my decisions for about a week I emailed him asking for comparative RVs he has, and if he would recommend anything with more specific things I am looking for. The response I got was “I have nothing else here. Good luck, best wishes”. I guess he didn’t get a sale fast enough and didn’t want to put in the work. I’ll be purchasing an RV elsewhere if that’s how they treat customers.
On Tuesday December 3rd we bought a brand new Flagstaff E Pro E19FD from Stoltzfus . We had Wayne Fisher as our salesman who was excellent. No sale push what so ever. We dealt with him on the phone first and he was great with all of our questions. The service was excellent. Wayne greeted us outside in the parking lot when we pulled in. We love our new RV and LOVE the heated mattress! He then took us to the Service department were we meet Keith who gave us the Grand tour on our new trailer. Every one in the Service were Phenomenal explaining everything to us.Every one in the service department was loving our dog Dory who was in our truck. The Parts Department people where very friendly and were very helpful.Sincerely, Pat and David
After purchasing our second camper in 5 years from the dealer - we would never go back. We had just purchased a new destination trailer in Oct and within 3 hours of being inside it our AC was condensating on the roof and leaking on the carpet and couch below. Called our sales guy Lee immediately, bc you know...3Hours old. Told me to contact service, which I did and greeted with a rather rude Sherry. Was told “we will get to you when we get to you”...wow. Check hadnt even cleared the bank yet. We patiently wait a few days, no word so we call back and get the service manager that assures us they will be out the next week. No show. We then call again, angry at this point, and call our sales guy Lee again to see if he can be of any help to have him HANG up on my husband. We then speak to the owner that doesnt even seems phased his sales guy would do such a thing. After several calls, someone came out about a month later and we assume it is fixed. We originally had issues with service team in the last camper, but now after this sales experience it will be our last visit and last referral. We are seasonal campers and word of mouth goes a very long way in life. While it was just a quick sale to them, this was a major investment to our family financially to deal with this type of treatment.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! If I could give this business 0 stars I would. We researched several RV dealerships and settled on this one due to prices and location. It has been a NIGHTMARE. The service manager Terry is rude and condescending. They do not return phone calls, nor do they follow up. There has been zero communication which led us visit the dealership several times to get some answers. We purchased an RV because we needed a temporary living space because we bought a bad house from some very dishonest people. The Stoltzfus’ staff were aware of our situation and we were very honest about that we would be using the RV as a primary living space. We believed that they were on our side and providing the best product and service so that would have piece of mind and not be homeless!!! Our situation makes the way we have been treated all the worse as we were relying on this business to provide timely warranty work and make sure that all systems are working. Currently both A/C units do not work properly, every single sink has leaked, and the current leaking sink (supposedly fixed the last time they came out) has created MOLD, the cabinets have delaminated due to the leaks, a clogged toilet due to a faulty flush valve (also supposedly fixed with last service visit) are among the numerous warranty covered issues that have not been addressed or properly fixed. In fact, it took SIX MONTHS from the initial contact about said issues for them to respond or do anything about our complaints. It took a very angry complaint to Coachmen to even get a response from the service department of this dealership. I spoke to the owner today expecting that he would take some responsibility for his business. I was badly mistaken. He assured me that they would not be coming out to service our RV again even though the work they have done on previous visit was left unfinished or incomplete. Lester Stoltzfus, the owner, defended this stance and was incredibly rude and disrespectful. Please think twice before buying from this dealer!!!!
We visited this dealership bc they had a model in stock we thought we wanted. We talked to Lee on the phone and Wayne showed us the unit, super nice and not pushy, at all. We been to a few other dealerships and this was by far the best experience. Every other dealership should take a lesson from this place. In the end the unit didn’t work out for us but I wish it did because I’d rather spend my money here. When I’m in the market again for an RV this will be my first stop!
They where nice enough to tell me they dont carry truck campers. The first time I walked through the show room nobody acknowledged me at all. I mean I showed up looking for help. Seams like the do plenty of business without me. I will shop elsewhere. The second star 🌟 is because you have to really work to get only one star.
Inquired about inventory a few weeks ago online and Ed called me today to finally follow up. Wed already purchased a camper from another vendor that was prompt. He then asked if Wed purchased the model we were looking for. I said why yes we did! He said, Well thats too bad, insinuating we made a bad choice in models. Very rude. Glad we did NOT Purchase through them!
Bought a 2105 used Vibe. The whole experience from sales(Lee) to sevice was outstanding! Cannot say enough good things about the people and the service we received. Fixed all minor issues and were completely honest and upfront the camper and our repairs. All was covered under the warranty. I would recommend buying from Stoltzfus 150%!
Very helpful staff. Not pushy at all. They answered all my questions and made a fair offer on the camper we were looking at. Were still looking around but well probably be back to buy.And we did. After checking out other dealerships, we found Stoltzfus most helpful, willing to negotiate and very reasonably priced.
I would not recommend buying anything from Stoltzfus RV. I purchased a travel trailer earlier this year and the service after the sale has been absolutely horrible. I couldnt get Terry in the service department to answer a phone call or reply to an email so I was forced to go in to the business and talk to the owner (Lester). It was only after this things started moving along. In the past few months I have called with questions and also to add accessories for my RV and I still have never received a return call from the service department. I figured I would give them one more opportunity so I called the other day with a request to add a slide topper and was told I would have to talk to Terry and after being on hold for a period of time I was transferred to his voicemail and never received a return call. In frustration I called another dealer this morning and I have an appointment tomorrow morning for them to look things over so they can order the required parts.
We bought our 2010 Sunnybrook from them and have enjoyed ever minute. We take it to them for both summer and winter service and any parts that we may need. Lee is a no pressure salesman. He showed us what we were looking for and did not pressure us in to a decision. The service department and customer service is far above anything I have ever experienced. Stoltzfus RV is a place that you can trust to provide you with no pressure sales and quality service. That is something you dont see today. The owners should be very proud . Thank You for all that you do for us. You definitely make make camping a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
So glad I chose this dealer. Wayne Fisher was my sales man and intuitively showed me the camper I wanted right off the bat. Anything that I wanted on my freedom express 192rbs was installed right. Are walk through was great. Installation of the hitch was brilliant. If I would of tried to get all these things done on my own I would have been lost. Thanks again Wayne.
We have been looking for a Winnebago RV for awhile when we decided to check out Stoltzfus. Andrew DeBlase was our salesman and I will say he did a great job, never tried to sell us something we didnt want nor did hetry to pressure us into buying one. Andrew was very knowledgeable and apleasure to work with.Andy R
I decided about 1.5 years ago I would buy a Class A RV. Once I had all my ducks in a row the only question was where, which one and used or new. Once I decided to buy one I spent a year + in chat rooms and quickly knew it would be a Tiffin. A few weeks ago I decided it was time to pull the trigger. I found a this dealer on line in Pa.2.5 hr.s from me with a used one I wanted to check out. I was never pressured in any way to buy a new one instead but I did. Andrew my sales man could not have been better. Ive bought several new cars and thought I knew what was coming when I entered this dealership. I was pleasantly surprised. Once I made a decision and my offer accepted it was time to go to the office and sit down with the sales manager, Sara. I know this game, good cop bad cop right? Once again I was pleasantly surprised. No, pushy up selling at all. She presented a few options, some I said yes and some I said no. Once I said no we moved on. Nothing was said or inferred to make me feel cheap or uniformed. The whole experience was better than I could have asked for and my 2019 Tiffin 34 PA...heaven on 4 wheels. If your looking to buy a camper or RV check this place out and be sure to ask for Andrew.
I have bought 2 campers from Stoltzfus. The sales people are good. I had real technical questions and they took me out to the shop to answer my questions. Unlike some other places that dont know what they sell and tell you to read about it online or call the manufacture. The owner is out there working and is a straight shooter. I have went to a lot of RV dealers and these guys are honest and stand behind what they sell.
Just purchased our second camping trailer from Stoltzfus RV’s. Both times we have had Wayne help us. Our sales and service experience with our initial RV was great and we were happy we went back a second time for our new camper! Would definitely recommend Stoltzfus RV’s .
Wish I could give 0 stars....We stopped in to see if they offered any small campers. The salesman approached us and asked what he could do for us- We stated that we had a little guy camper...he immediately responded sorry to hear that. We continued to say we were looking for a little more room but wanted to stay with a small camper that we could pull with our van. He said no kidding!. And sort of chuckled to himself. He started to back away and said sorry, we dont carry anything that small. He didnt want to do business with us. We saw on the internet, he had 2 pop up campers available. Its surprising they can sell anything with a salesperson with that kind of attitude. He was extremely rude and full of insults! Beware if you enter the building and ask the receptionist for a salesperson and she pages 99 to the front!
Although their inventory is impressive, I was not happy with my experience. The door says masks required (covid), which I whole heartedly support, yet the employees were not wearing masks. As I paid for my items I watched a lady behind the counter (employee) go through an entire coughing spree to the point co-workers asked if she was choking. No mask!? Their mask policy is to protect them, not you (the customer).
Wayne was a excellent sales person and took time to answer all of our questions and concerns we might of had after purchasing our new 5th wheel which we love. The whole staff at stoltzfus is very pleasant and down to earth I would recommend anybody interested in purchasing a calper thats the place to go
The service department at stoltzfus does everything they can to provide satisfactory service to their customers. They are very courteous and kind whether you are speaking with them in person or on the telephone. I think this is commendable since they are a very very busy service center and have a lot of customers to keep happy.
We bought a used 5th wheel for 15k used it to go to Florida, it leaked water all the way down. They had it for over a month getting it ready for trip. They never told us it had rotten wood every where. They semi fixed what we seen. Short story when we got home 6 months later they gave us a different one. Not a 5th. Wheel . bumper pull with only one slide and 3 yrs older. Well we only used it 2 or 3 times and moved to Florida. It had looked very well taken care of and since our experience with other. Well we had a storm here and the slide started leaking bad. Its in the shop. Well a piece of wood was stuck in the slide causing a lot of damage. Also another bad spot which wasnt there before ,the repair shop told us the roof on top has a soft spot that someone tried to repair years agi. So turns out they sold us another lemon. Insurance wont pay for the bad previous repair that we werent told about. So it is going to cost around 3500 to fix. Stoltzfus tell you that they go over everthing. Well then we were taken again. If you buy used and pay cash take it to another dealer and have it inspected. Retired and pissed in Florida.
We have had two fantastic experiences at Stoltzfus RV. From our starter travel trailer to our new larger one, Lee has been very helpful with getting us what we need in our travel trailer at a price we can afford and answered all our questions along the way. Thanks to everyone at Stoltzfus for making it a great summer!
Thank you Lee for the great customer service. From the begining he listened and helped me to find the RV that I wanted and than guided me through everything. Even though I cannot buy my dream RV now he was very respectful, knowledgeable and communicated with me.Thank you again Lee!
Andrew DeBlaze was my salesmen, at Stoltzfus, I owned a retail store for 30 years selling High end hot tubs and anything around the patio, so I know sales is not easy, as I was planning my purchase for five years.... I met Andrew a couple of years ago, called and stopped by a few times, he always was very professional, never push me into a so called deal... my mind was set on Tiffin RV`s then I saw the coach I had planned and desired for years... this past weekend was my maiden voyage, I survived cancer four times and this is prefect therapy for relaxing... I would highly recommend Andrew DeBlaze and the team at Stoltzfus RV...

2022-05-21We had previously visited a few dealerships up north. We felt very pressured and uncomfortable. Shopping at Stoltzfus was the most pleasant and honest experience we’ve had. Joe never tried to oversell and made reasonable suggestions. From start to finish we were pleased with our experience! Don’t hesitate to head down to Adamstown for your next purchase!

2022-04-02I had a lot of questions. Our sales associate was very patient and honest with his answers whether good or bad as to what I was specifically looking for. I almost only gave 4 stars because I had to wait 10 days for delivery. But decided to give 5 because if they are that busy then they are that good. I can not take away 1 star for my impatience. I would highly recommend.

2021-08-27Great experience purchasing an RV at Stoltzfus today. The salesman Lee was very helpful and made the whole process seamless. The Tech Dave walked my wife and I through all the aspects of the camper, was patient and very knowledgeable in his craft. He set up my new load distribution hitch in no time at all, even did a little touch up on some trim and had us on our way. Highly recommend. Will be getting my RV services done there. Thank youl

2021-08-26Bought my travel trailer there in 2020 and had a nice experience. Would go back and also would recommend friends/family for sales. But Ive contacted the service department on several occasions. On two occasions I have spoken to the same woman (whose name I wont mention in this review) and she always is impatient and in a hurry. Im a newbie at this and even if I wasnt, theres no need to rush a customer. I need to know what type of services the company provides, if my schedule matches the service depts schedule, budget, etc. I always get the feeling that she wants to get off the phone as soon as she can. I gave her the benefit of the doubt the first time it happened but two times is a different story. You just lost a service customer and perhaps some customer service training is needed.
