My experience was nice, the women that worked there were nice and communicative with letting me know about the facility and rates. The space reserved for me was just right for my storage; admittedly Id cleared out the space of my belongings due to me needing it for less time than anticipated, rather than just discarding my account and space they contacted me to make sure everything was alright on my end before doing so. I felt a bit irresponsible on my end afterwards but DEFINITELY appreciated and looked out for them taking the time to do that.
Hi Ms Tina I came into this unit on Lancaster and the nice young lady the representative was very passion to be able to help me and understand what I was going to at that very time she was able to offer me a unit also did mention about offers and discounts Katana patient was excellent she even walks through and show me how to use the lock that I didnt know how to do really appreciate the service and yes I will recommend anybody to come here I will come here again I give this store in that representative a thumbs up with a number 10
I moved to this facility from another Storage facility that had more then doubled my rent since I moved in a period of 10 years. So I decided to move to a smaller less expensive unit. This facility has recently been updated looks great online but in person was very disappointing. It’s dusty with poor lighting and ventilation. I haven’t even been on my unit for six months and my rent has already in creased $63. No way they are worth $236 a month. I wouldn’t recommend Store Space to anyone. Lease states tenant will be notified 30 prior to rent increase. I was given 2 weeks.
Nothing but positive things to say about this location, and particularly Tina who is always on point and ready to assist any time I need. Initial rental process was quick and painless. She even calls when your monthly payment date is approaching. 5-stars just on the strength of Tinas customer service. Would definitely recommend this facility.
At this point I’m definitely being stalked by the employee Tina. I came to the storage this morning and she was at my unit beating the gate down. She suspended my gate access code for no reason. I can’t even talk to the district manager because she keep disrespecting me or customer service because they read the comments on my file & do not know what’s happening & automatically gives you a attitude. I’m being harassed and there’s basically nothing you can do about it. This place is so weird. I was ask to removed my last review but I didn’t. Before that Tina called the police on me for stealing a car which was a lie. She keeps lying to save her job and I’m so sick of. And there isn’t no reasonable person to talk with. This place dont even have climate change. It’s so hot your stuff will melt. I’m tired of companies like this that keep taking advantage of people. Tina is really disturbing and unprofessional no matter how much she smiles. I will never recommend this place. Poor customer service.
Elijah is amazing. Had an issue with the lock on my storage unit after not opening it for about 5 months, he immediately cut the lock for me and gave me one of the newest locks for free. I traveled from New York to grab some things out of the unit so this could have turned into a nightmare but within 20 minutes, he cut the lock and all was good! Many many thanks!
I hate leaving reviews because I’m kinda on the lazy side, but this place is awesome! Elijah Is super helpful and attentive to my needs. Whenever I had questions about my unit...he’s just been super helpful! They entire staff is pretty cool! Great place to keep my stuff. Five stars and two thumbs up!
Dom has been great these last couple of months. They work with you as much as they can and are professional. When they have called to remind me of my payment, it never feels like Im being hassled. Ive been storing my things there for a little over a year now. Good staff.
Do not rent here unless you want to risk having your storage broken into by employees. Ive been renting here for almost a year now and they recently had renovations around Jan. During Jan my storage and a few others were broken into. The day I found out they refused to give me any info to file a insurance claim. I went back another day when police were able to do a report and thats when I was given the insurance info. I called the insurance ppl the other day to check out my claim status and was told I had to do all of these extra things to have my claim processed. None of this was told me in Jan. One of the things includes getting a report from the facility manager which is impossible because they never talk to u directly. The front desk has to call them and they never give any specific info out. This experience has been the worse. Im a victim of theft and they are making it hard. Not only that but because they renovated the old building I have to pay an extra $20 every month. I cant wait to get my things out of there!!!
The rental prices for my storage unit have gone up 3 different times now. It started at about $83 a month and is now at $113. There is a light mouse problem although is seems to be getting better over time. Nobody is ever in the office to assist in person from my experience. Besides those aspects its ok if you have simple needs. Pretty easy access to get in and out of the facility, and has pretty good operation hours.
I just went to access my unit, no one was there at the office at 4:15pm and they dont close until 5:30pm. Customers are supposed to have access to their units until 10pm. My access code isnt working and there is no one there to help me. And theyve raised the rent twice within the last year. Poor service. Would not recommend.
So the manager the lady with the red hair that thinks it’s ok to smoke cigarettes around customers has definitely made this a bad experience for me I’m waiting outside she walks up cigarette in hand first thing she says I’m from St. Louis so idk what’s going on give me a min completely dismissed my concerns and on top of that she speaks very offensively and doesn’t know how to speak to customers she is a horrible representation of your company and should be retrained on management this is coming from a person that works in hr. She doesn’t know anything And completely lacks empathy hire someone else
This place is the worst. No lights in my unit worked from day one, and the movers had to move my stuff in in the pitch black. The manager apologized profusely but never fixed them.Fast forward 8 months later and I’m being told they aren’t obligated to provide light in my unit. This after I made 6 calls over a week and a half to just get a response. Save your $350 a month for a legit facility.
Great prices and policies (prorating, 1/2 off 1st month, etc.). Great staff on check-in. Friendly, efficient and helpful. Facility is kept nice and easy to navigate. They provide carts for free to move your stuff. They even give you a water and the prices for supplies (tape, boxes, mattress bags) are very reasonable (some cheaper than Home Depot). This is an old warehouse so the heights are low (
Love the customer service. We have rented storage here several years in a row and Reggie always remembers us. Great man, makes us keep coming back. Love that they keep updating and improving the property. Would like to see lines painted on the floor from elevator to elevator to help navigate the huge building better. But I would recommend this storage facility to everyone.
Yessssss Mike was like my Savior in that place .. I switched 3 different units n like 15mins & he wasn’t even mad ! Shoot he just kept showing units until I was satisfied.. that was so peaceful & pleasant.. then u had Dime n the front well n the store.. cracking jokes handsome & funny wit a job ladies here’s ur chance... bottom line I was very happy wit not only my unit but my service.. they some good brothers running that store !!! Thanks again guys...
The staff is completely useless and so is the corporate number. The hours posted on the door say access is available daily from 6am-10pm and 24 hour access is available( I guess by special request) turns out these hours don’t go into effect until January. I am only able to access my unit when the staff is in the office from 9am-7pm. This was not explained to me at the time I signed my lease. This is extremely imconvient.Management refused to give me a full refund if I decided to cancel my contract. Do not rent here!!!
I had a storage unit at the Lancaster Ave location in Philadelphia, PA. They auctioned my unit, after I prepaid the rent. I have bank documents that indicate the payments as well. This is an urgent matter, as I need my items. The unit contained a full 3 bedroom house full of furniture, clothing, electronics, appliances, personal and private documents, as well as my degrees. I had insurance and everything. This matter needs to be rectified immediately or I will take legal actions
This is by far the best storage place in Philadelphia.Best value for money, good location if you are in University City (although the neighborhood is not the best, to say the least, the Street itself and the area near the storage place is industrial and felt safe whenever I went there), and extremely friendly and helpful staff.We stored our belongings there for 4 months and everything remained as it was when we stored it.The only con is the limited hours, if you are working.
No visible staff. It was super dark, and there was no illuminated signage to identify light dials. My mother (who rents a space here) almost fell. I called their number twice while we used cell phone flashlights to see inside Moms storage unit.The folks I spoke to couldnt reach the person who was supposed to be physically present at the facility.
Rented there for less then a month and my belongings were damaged by rodents,the staff said it often happens at that location and he hope I paid for insurance which I did but they refuse to help me let alone talk to me SMH now my children is without a bed smh the worst experience EVER!!!

2022-04-18Tina the manager there is simply amazing. Its not often that I am in contact with businesses that still provide a 5 star level of service. I travel alot for work and whenever someone goes out of their way to explain things, fully answer questions, and provide details I am happy to write a positive review. I have been a customer for year for a family member and I never had such a positive interaction.

2022-06-23Ms. Tina is absolutely amazing! If everyone in the world had her level of humanity, it would be a much better place.As for the facility itself, theres definitely a roach and rodent problem. Ill have to bug bomb my belongings inside a moving truck before I can transport them anywhere; more expenses I dont wish to expend.Some areas are dangerous for me to use my wheelchair through because the floors are covered in caked dirt. Based on my professional experience with building maintenance, I wouldnt be surprised if it took a contractor several days to remove the caked dirt from half of the second floor.Im already overpaying my first months due to the guy I who took my call messing up my promotion. $177 is wayyyy too much for unit size and dangerous environment.I love the service and professionalism from Tina, but I value my money, health and safety more.Edited to add: Orkin guy came and went. All he did was give me some roach bait jawns to put in my unit. Thats not going to be effective for this infestation.Also, we are going on day three without the access panel working. If its not one thing in this place, its another.More to add: Im pretty sure this is day 6 of the access panel not working. It has taken a lot of calling around in order to access the building yesterday, but some people waiting to get in since 7:00 a.m. The building finally was opened after 3:00 p.m. I will still continue to upload photos of the roach problem and other issues.Also, Im starting to get a bunch of passive-aggressive snide nonsense from Tina. At this point, Im questioning the legitimacy of ever review that praises her. Its becoming clear to me that she likely had people from her personal social media/circle of friends give positive reviews about this facility that obviously has had serious issues for a long time. Had I known there would be this much drama, health, and safety issues I would have gone elsewhere.
