T-Mobile in other cities:
Started out as a good experience. Unfortunately the sales staff was not really as capable as they thought they were. We were offered deals we were not elgible for amd given prices that were far from the actual price. The staff was apologetic however not willing to do anything to make the situation right. 😠
We started service with sprint @ the 38th St store & they were wonderful. Unfortunately we live in the country & were unable to get service @ home. We ported our numbers & returned the phones. Sprint customer care was terrible about refunding our money so I went back to the store a month later & the manager spent over an hour with customer care & was able to get our refund for us. He went over & above & I truly think I would still be arguing with customer care if he didnt help. Thank you Andy!
This is the worst service to be with not only do my calls drop but I had to start a chat with tech support and the representative was very rude an had a lot of attitude definitely switching my service asap😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 as well as they kept trying to get us to pay 4 or 5 different prices and continued to lie to us repeatedly
I had a simple request: the Sprint telesales team asked me to stop in a store and buy three SIM cards to complete the deal I worked out with them on the phone. The store took a good 45 minutes to figure out this request and ended up giving me a good amount of frustration.
Wanted to send me 150 miles instead of handling problem here at repair store, which is the ONLY ONE IN AREA. My phone worked great IN STORE, until I left. Again.Misinformation resulted in my receiving a much larger monthly bill than I anticipated, was told nothing could be done about it. So sad, too bad, pay it or else forfeit service with a HUGE final bill if you try to terminate service. Once in, YOU ARE STUCK!It would be nice if they worked with customers to solve problems, and if they included REAL TIME CONTACT with Sprint while they did so. A franchise should also have to follow corporate policies, one would believe!Had to call customer service line myself in order for a conversation to occur between customer service and store staff which did then result in requested assistance. Was also displeased by their manner, which was sarcastic, irritated and demeaning, with which myself and other customers were spoken to in response to re: requests for help. Were not all tech savvy--thats why we seek help! The staff are QUITE KNOWLEDGEABLE (3 stars to acknowledge that) but need to work on people and customer service skills. Word about their interactive style IS getting around!
Pitiful experience. Waiting in line while the staff makes small talk with everyone they serve instead of doing their job. 2 people on staff on a Sunday is ridiculous. 15 customers waiting in line right now as I type this review because hey, what else am I going to do. Thanks Sprint for closing every other sprint store in the Erie area.Edit: just witnessed a sales rep rudely tell a customer its going to be a long wait. The customer said ok Ill go somewhere else like Verizon. The sales rep then told the customer to get out, we dont need you here anyways how professional.
This store is terrible. Basically they are the only Sprint Store within several miles of Erie and they know it so they use it to their advantage and treat people any kind of way. If you go in to make a payment they wont even tell you how much you owe even if you show ID and if you question it they threaten to refuse your payment. Dont dare go in the store for a new phone do it online because they look at you and pick out a phone and thats what youre getting regardless of what you actually want. Another option is going to Bestbuy but if you get a phone there and go into the Sprint Store for support all youre going to get is a long story about how Bestbuy representatives arent really from Sprint and arent qualified then they are going to dance all the way around your questions by asking you questions about your phone they could easily figure out the answers to by looking at their computer. But the goal is to frustrate you because your phone purchase didnt help their bottom line so they dont want to deal with you. Or maybe they just dont know how to do much other than sell phones. Regardless the phone carriers phone service has improved too bad they have people like this representing them. Might be time for a switch.
1 star since there is no option for negative stars.I am currently on a contract with unlimited internet that does not work. Ever. Not an exaggeration. My texts (sending AND receiving) are duplicating themselves. They know the service is the worst in this area and will make excuses. They even offered to reimburse a partial bill because we cannot access the internet from our hometown (except certain spots), but they never did.You cannot call them for support; you have to go to the store and show ID. Do people fraudulently ask for assistance?I switched FROM Verizon because of deals and they offered to buy my contract, but they left me with a balance due to Verizon. This actually cost me more than if I wasnt fooled.Everyone except the manager is incompetent and rude. Dont ask them for help without buying something. Do not expect them to do their job properly.Any other carrier is an improvement over this train wreck.
They were not helpful to my mom, and even though she just wanted to reactivate her phone after it was reported stolen (it was returned) someone kept trying to sell her a new model and told her that her 1 year old phone is really old. My younger brother had to set up the phone for her. Poor customer service and trying to rip off people who aren’t tech savvy.
Manager of the store(mike) was bad mouthing potential customers and flirting with an underage girl while 7 other customers were waiting. he small talked her while her phone updated twice but when it was our turn he tried to help a customer while we brought our information up. angry with the disgusting service we decided to leave and place our order online and just come back to pick up the phones, only to be told we had to cancel our order because he would not give them to us and we were no longer welcome in his store. as the only sprint store in 100 miles or Erie we had no choice but to have our phones shipped to our house.
As I write this we have been waiting over an hour, to speak to someone, since the appointment time that we made at this location. They are not honoring appointment times and just serving people in the order they came in. Basically, they have you make an appointment to get in a line. Sprints customer service, the last few days, has been terrible. They tried to say that we didnt pay off two lines in order to get a deal on a Samsung S20. It has been one inconvenience after another dealing with this, once efficient, operation. At their competitors location they have way more sales reps to help customers. Here they have two people; and customers are walking out without having been served.
My fiance, I and my 5 year old twins went to this store today to port a number over between phones for my fiance. I stayed in the van and noticed it was taking a while. Getting out with kids in tow, I asked if one of my twins can use the bathroom which the customer sales man said was alright though he didnt seem happy seeing my children. I thought nothing of it while he helped my fiance. After a while there was still port issues but the guy , Arthur, was doing everything possible. My children stayed close to my side but after a bit began to try to pull away. I understand children can be annoying but my children were on good behavior just curious with the phones. Sadly it must have annoyed Arthur because he suggested since it just finished raining, my kids should go outside looking for rainbows with their mother. I felt like I was kicked out of the store for browsing. I was even debating to switch my own phone but now I wont.I give 3 stars for the hard work they did for my fiance for his phone ..thank you. But never in my life had I been asked to leave a store. I work hard to ensure my children are well behaved, dont scream , or be annoying. But seems it didnt matter. ..I would have gave 5 stars..but I am humiliated and once I start my business, I may just speak to AT&T or Verizon for business services.
Andy the manager at this location is a true professional who went above & beyond to get my son a new phone today and he was so kind to speak to me several times on the phone throughout the day as we were trying to get this done. He advised me of all our options and what would be the best way to upgrade and after a quick call to Sprint Customer Service we were good to go with the early upgrade. I am in Buffalo & my son is a student at Mercyhurst just down the street, so Andy being so helpful really saved me alot of time and gave me peace of mind knowing my son had a new safe working phone/alarm clock! I cannot thank you enough Andy for all of your help & guidance today.
The salesman wouldnt help me with any suggestions. I was told that he was a salesman and if I didnt buy anything, he wouldnt help me! My phone is broken and I just wanted to get a cheep unlocked phone online that I could use with Sprint while still paying off my broken phone. Still dont have a phone. 2 months mind you. So Ill pay off my phone and my 14 years with Sprint will be over.
We switched from Verizon to Sprint over a year ago. Absolutely everything that the guy from this store did was messed up. He gave us the wrong area code. We are from NY and he gave us a part area code. He knew we were from NY. Called the customer service and spent more than 30 min trying to convince some foreigner she couldnt give us a Canadian area code. Also we leased 4 motor phones and one nice phone a Samsung s8+. We put insurance on the nice phone but the guy from the store messed that up too. He put the insurance on a motorcycle e phone. We didnt get paper bills for a long time no matter how we requested them. When we finally did i caught the mistake but was told I could just switch the insurance to the correct phone. I would have to upgrade my plan. And that was after being transferred back and forth btwn agents. Also one month they charged my 11 yr old for premium voice mail. I caught the charge and had them remove it. This month their is a $5 charge attached to my 16 year olds phone. I will have to call to have it removed. Also we are paying pa tax and 911 charge even though we are living in NY. And if we drive 8 miles to the next town over it will say we are roaming or welcome to canada. Its insane. Not to mention we never got the Hulu that was supposed to be part of our deal. And finally, my texts arrive sometimes 10 or 15 min after they are sent or not at all. Im pretty sure the store should do some drug testing because the guy that set us up must have been high to achieve such epic incompetence. We will be switching carriers soon.
Updated review - When I got my plan I was under the impression that the tablet was free and the phone for my mom was free. I was being billed for the tablet and the phone. I contacted sprint and apparently, I was wrong. Make sure you check the fine print and dont sign unless youre sure what it says. My bad for trusting them at this store. Obviously, they are more concerned with getting your signature than building a long term partnership with you. Update again: The location I am referencing is no longer open. It was the store on peach out towards 90.

2022-04-13Great employees here! They are so kind and helpful! Helped me find the perfect device for me and made sure I got a case for it that I liked. The accessories were zero down so I only had to pay taxes and fees in store! Great experience!

2021-03-29I purchased phones and service which did not work in the area we purchased them for. Returned within the 14 day grace period. One phone was never even used. I was charged an $80 restocking fee for phones that could not get service. Was told by a T-Mobile rep that the store could have given the refund but they would not give me the refund. Calls were never returned. Beware of the awful service. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Will never go back to T-Mobile and will make sure to tell everyone I know how they treat their customers.

2021-01-11I purchased a google phone from sprint, now T-Mobile and paid for insurance. My screen broke and was not covered by insurance. They never told me this when I purchased the insurance. They would not help me in the store and staff was unhelpful. When I asked to speak with a manager I was told the manager was very busy training a new employee and could not speak to me. They customer protection is deceptive and they have poor customer service.

2020-07-01This store is by far one of the worst places i’ve ever been. recently i went into the store with a failing iphone. i know for a fact that when i got this phone i asked for the insurance coverage. this sprint store and workers truly failed me. i feel like i’m talking to a politician when i’m trying to get a straight up answer. i don’t want to buy another $1,000 phone. i want to simply know what i can do to get my current phone fixed. i ended up having to pay $250 because the insurance, that i asked for, was not there. i don’t know if the worker that helped me had cataracts and didn’t mark the box but i’m truly outraged. when i went to a bulbs and batteries they said that they’ve had a countless number of angry sprint customers come in and ask for an uninsured phone repair after they specifically asked sprint for insurance when purchasing their phone.

2018-05-18Awesome Customer Service! The staff was professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I was visiting from out of town and had some phone issues, I stopped in and they resolved my issue quickly and professionally, they literally hooked me up! They were more than fair and a pleasure to do business with. In a generation where good customer service is a rarity, these guys are old school service - honest and fair!

2016-10-15This is another place I want give a poor review just to keep it to myself, but I must recognize quality service. I have been going to this Sprint store, exclusively, since they opened. I have always got excellent service. Theres usually plenty of staff at peak times so theres little wait. Ive been very impressed.

2020-07-08I came to this Sprint about a week ago and they did NOTHING. it was like the worker had some mental problems... i don’t know. they refused to except that my phone was broken and they wanted me to buy a completely new phone when the phone i have now was fixable. my phone is still broken and i’m very frustrated.

2019-11-01The customer service here is great. The two guys that Ive meet the few times Ive been in have been amazingly helpful. Unfortunately around where I live the network is kinda hit or miss. The prices on phones are very competitive and if you do their flex lease you can pay for it over the time of your contract. Would definitely recommend them if you live in the city as the service there is very strong.
