We got beef Schichuan, kung pao chicken, and veg. Lo mein. The food was yummy and portions were great. Pt was enough for one person
I read good reviews online so decided to visit today. The service was awful the girl at the counter was rude and ignoring me for a good 5 mins while I stood there standing with my card to pay. I don’t know what she though of herself. She had courtesy to reply if I asked something The food was very mediocre. It was not bad but it was no where close to 5 stars or even close to being exceptional. People who have written such good reviews may have never had had the pleasure to taste halal Chinese in north jersey or new York (like fatimas halal) therefore consider this godly. Would never consider returning here I think I make better Chinese at home than them by following marion grasby ... seriously.
The seafood Lo Mein and curry cheese steak rolls both delicious 😋
Food was well made. They give you a decent portion for the price you pay. Waiting time was only about 15 minutes for us. Theres also healthy steam options available.
The food is good. I can admit it’s not the best however it’s not the worst Chinese food. The beef is rubbery and chewy. The curry cheesesteak rolls are amazing. I’d also recommend the cooks use gloves to prevent germs and to promote the clean environment of the store. I’d also recommend hairnets to prevent hairs from getting into their customers food.
I was kinda surprised to see a Hala Chinese Store but it was well worth it.
Im shocked with Tangs the food usually be good. I had a bad experience smh. I ordered general tsos chicken...the meat & broccoli was over cooked.
Will live in South Jersey and may wife takes a class in Philly. This is our Wednesday nite dinner not every Wednesday but this is fourth time and the food is great. Not to mention HALAL across the board meaning there is no pork on the folk in there. 😁 Great food nice prices as well. I love the cheesesteak egg rolls.☺
On our way from New Hampshire to DC we decided to take a little detour to see if our favorite halal Chinese place was just as good. I was not disappointed. I wish we had such a gem in our state as well. Highly recommended.
PHENOMENAL FOOD! Came here during a weekend trip to Philly from NY and this was easily the best Chinese I’ve had in a long time. Ordered the Beef Lo Mein and General Tso’s Chicken - both were perfect! Also they are Zabeehah Halal (as stated on the menu)!
My family & I live close. Finally decided to try it. We fell in love. Great service, food was amazing. Nothing like these regular Chinese takeout. Food was fresh & hot. This is our new spot.
Amazing food, great service and place is kept exquisitely clean. The owners take pride in their food and their restaurant. Meat is sourced from one of the best halal butchers (Quetta) in the city. I *highly* recommend this place. Be sure to try the General Tsos chicken (w/ fried rice) and curry chicken roll!
Best halal Chinese in the city!! The curry cheesesteak egg roll is amazing. So is the general tso chicken. Please don’t change the recipes! I had lost all hope in Halal Chinese in this city until today. Highly recommend this place.

Do not order the beef fried riceI been checking on them for the past 8 months.. its not beef .. they been using liversI came home my said what is this I told beef fried rice.. she threw away 3 platters of the rice with livers.. be careful wt u eat and Im not sure if u r eating halal or non halal
DONT ORDER FROM GRUBHUB they over charge!!! Theres an increase of at least $2 for everything in the menu. Food is OK.

I think this place is okay. Honestly, the food did not woo my taste buds. However, the food was okay. I wish they used smaller and shorter noodles in the chicken noodle soup.I have had better halal Chinese food. I would give this place another try. If its not better, then I will be done.

2021-12-02The restaurant was clean, the food was freshly prepared (we had to wait a few minutes, but so worth it) and although we picked it up practically around midnight, everything was spot on - our order was correct and the food tasted FANTASTIC!!! Any time Im in Philadelphia, this halal joint is going to be my go to!!!!

2021-09-20Closed on Sunday. But does not update Google about it.Went in next day, ordered 50$ of food. They lie about the ac being on...literally had to keep the door open to keep it cool in the middle of summer...

2021-12-30Very bad customer service, the African American woman at the register, was extremely unpleasant and looked miserable. The food was completely tasteless and nasty, the egg drop soup we ordered was terrible. We didnt eat our food from there, instead we had to eat somewhere else.

2021-09-05Food was ok , nothing to rave about. Veggies were cut on the bigger side and were not cooked long enough. They still had raw taste to them. Meat taste was ok, it’s decent place if you looking for a quick lunch. Owners were welcoming and nice to deal with.
