Target in other cities:
Overall store environment is clean and welcoming. Do not sell common household blinds in store due to high return rate is what I was told. Healthier food options are good with variety, fair price. Cosmetic department doesnt carry neutrogena bar soap, team member was helpful, caring and gave me the time needed. Customer service desk experience was quick and without hassle. Starbucks is hit or miss with quality of beverages, service, knowledge of products and could use improvement to be in line with the quality of service most Starbucks offers.
I feel like I get these surveys often, and I am glad that I do. I really love giving positive vibes to employees who deserve and need it. I was greeted by several of the Target employees as my daughter and I were shopping a little to get out of the house and out of the cold. The store is always clean and well stocked with the things that we usually need. The one and only negative about this particular store is that it doesnt have the full grocery section, but that is not at the fault of the store, so I wont deduct credit for that.
My cashier Jordan, he was the most pleasant person to wait on me. Asked me if I found everything I came in for.. Took extra care to package items separately. Very polite young man. First time I saw him there. He has a great personality, and is definitely a people person.
It was a waste of my trip. Poor selection of woman’s clothing. I liked only 4 items there and even these were not available in my size. It was a waste of time.I give 2 stars instead of 1 just because when I finally found an assistant, she did spent some time with me but was not able to help. And the store was clean which deserves 1 extra star.
The manager named Cami essentially harassed me at self checkout. Its called self checkout for a reason, I do not want to be bothered when I go there. She forced me to put my phone number in even after I said no, she just tapped the button for me and made me tell her my number. She would not let me even scan my own items and was extremely close to me the whole time, which made me very uncomfortable during a pandemic. Extremely overbearing. There also was only 1 cashier? I have noticed every time I come in there is only 1 cashier now. How sad. It NEVER used to be like this, this store used to be one of my favorites. Now I do not even want to shop here because of Cami.
I go to the self checkout to be by myself and social distance. There are workers taking items out of my hands, scanning them, and bagging it for me. I chose self checkout to be ALONE, not disturbed. I used to love this store but now it gives me constant anxiety to go in. Just rubs me the wrong way. Great selection though.
The cashier! Cami at the West Mifflin Target went completely above and beyond! If there was an actual manager I could talk to, I would because nowadays you find very good emoyees like her and she deserves to be recognized! I can not say enough good things about how she made my shopping trip excellent, but also my entire day.
Interview ProcessThis Target looked like a great place to shop and work at first however, after getting through my first initial interview I never received a call back. I waited for weeks and months and never heard anything. I left voicemails and called the store but it seemed the manger was trying to dodge my attempts. A little bummed out about how things went but it is what it is. Just figured I would post my experience to help future applicants.
For being a full-size suburban Target we were incredibly underwhelmed by how limited the overall selection was, especially in grocery, compared to other nearby Target locations like The Waterfront, South Hills Village, and East Liberty. The store was clean and neatly-arranged. The aisles were well-fronted/-faced.We will not be returning to this Target, though, due to the limited grocery area.
I love getting my stuff at Target because you always get good deals and gift cards when you buy some products and your stuff is always ready in no time at all when you come pick it up even drive have is quick and they are very friendly when they bring out your stuff a place where you can get good deals and save money and get gift cards to use next time
I had an online order that was canceled for no reason besides shipt having tech difficulties and they had also charged my card . Teresa at target west Mifflin not only stayed on the phone withblooking up each item that I had in my order, but also pulled the items for me personally and them ready for me to do a pick up instead. AS WELL AS OFFERED A GIFT CARD to cover some of the cost. Blessed. Thanks so much.
I ordered a couple items online from the health department. I listed my husband as the one picking up the order. The order was ready within an hour and my husband was able to walk in and pick up the order with such ease. He was in and out all under 5 minutes. I would highly recommend order online from Target and picking up in-store.
This Target is off Lebanon Church Road. It is clean, well-stocked, a nice grocery area, and has a nice parking lot. Targets biggest issue for me is that they dont have anything in womens plus that is appropriate for anyone over 30. That said, their staff is friendly and helpful, the prices are generally very reasonable, and you can choose self-checkout.
This target is the worst. You can never find what you need. The workers are very rude and wont help you at all. I also tried to use the pick up in store and was very disappointed. Was missing half the stuff I ordered and when you try to call the store to check on your order no one ever answers the phone. Will not be going back here.
I loved seeing your employee Courtney working the self checkouts scoff and was totally unbothered by the kid who was telling her he was lost and couldnt find his grandma. Dismissing him with a I cant move. You could have gotten a coworker. You SHOULD have gotten a coworker. You SHOULD have done something other than act annoyed. Amazingly gross behavior that left a bad taste in my mouth.(Luckily the child saw his grandmother during the course of asking her for help to no avail)
What could have been a terrible experience turned in to a great experience. I ordered a shirt online to be shipped to my house. Instead of my shirt I received a pair of children’s shorts. I went into customer service and they tried getting me an exchange through the customer service line. They were going to refund my shirt and then charge me again for the same shirt to be delivered to my home. The manager Amanda (who was amazing through all of this) asked the people on the service line if they could at least comp my shipping. When they refused amanda hung up with them and took over the transaction. She ordered my shirt from the store and made it super easy for me after waiting forever for the customer service line that really had zero customer service skills. Amanda is the true MVP - cares about her customers and went above and beyond for me. I will definitely be coming back!
Quick and easy. I did not see the button for curbside pickup, so had to go into the store. They should post a number to call for curbside pickup right in the email confirming the order. If you think youll need curbside pickup, note that the button for that is on the page where you select delivery.
I wish I could give 0 stars but google won’t let me. We where in the store around 9:00 pm Saturday June 1 store closes at 10:00 had buggy full of stuff and we where trying on clothes and when we where done suddenly our buggy was taken. We asked someone about it and all they said was sorry they didn’t try to help at all. Apparently Kyle took our buggy 20 minutes before closing time so we had to rush to get all of our stuff back. Then we talked to manager and when we told her about it she said the same thing the other employee said!!! They lost a clothing sale and a costumer. I would appreciate if you would contact me thank you. Target has sure turned into Walmart.
A good place to shop as the store is so empty. The shelves are well stocked. I would suggest downloading the Target app as it can not only help you ascertain if an item is in the store, and where that item is located. If your store does not have the item you are looking for, one can order the item online, have it sent to the store for pickup, or sent to your home.
Several times I have gotten to deal with Amanda at returns/customer service. She is an amazing associate. She knows her job inside out. She is fast, efficient, intelligent and each time I walk in and she her, I am instantly happy. Amanda, thank you for all of your hard work!
So Im not a Target fan anyway, as I find them to be overpriced for what they sell, but my most recent visit to this store with a friend was mind blowing. She found Philips Christmas Lights at Target online on sale for $3.54 per box. When we stopped in the store, they had the same brand for $10 per box. Were talking matching box, matching SKU number, everything. We go to pay and the cashiers say they cant price match. We go to customer service. They say they cannot price match their website, but we can order from Targets website with free shipping. It was so frustrating. First of all, why would we wait days for the item to be shipped when we have it in our cart in the store? Why would Target want to lose a sale in the store and then on top of that, pay for shipping? Bad business. After going round and round with the on duty customer service manager, who said they couldnt price match (which we pointed out you arent price matching a competitor -- its your own damn company) we said forget it and walked out. Right across the street to Walmart who was happy to price match. As far as Im concerned, Target can go out of business with the other dinosaurs of retail.
Interview process= Very unprofessionalI interviewed for the VM position with the store director Bethann who requested I come in for a 2nd round interview the following week. I confirmed I would be there at the time she requested through email and even rearranged my entire week so I could attend. I, two days later, received an email saying they decided to move forward with someone else before I even had the chance to come to my 2nd round interview. This is extremely unprofessional and shows the disrespect they have for their applicants. Do better Target.
The two women in customer service this morning were soooo helpful, i was there Tuesday 10/16/2018 @10:23 am. I was there to return a jacket I got as a Birthday gift and not only did one woman walk me over to the mens jacket department, she also helped me look for a larger size. When we couldnt find my size, she looked online for me. Now thats going the distance, exceeding every possible expectation.Thank you ladies.....
The only positive thing I can say about this store are the employees. Upper Management is the ABSOLUTE WORST EVER! Dont apply here! If she doesnt like you, she will make your time working there a living hell! Youll get yelled at/talked to by your TL but orders were given by the head head boss! They rope you in by telling you that your requests for days/availability will be met but then the head boss will do the scheduling and COMPLETELY disregard what you request! She causes you more stress than is worth!
The place smelled of burned popcorn and what smelled like mold in spots. Its not a Super Target. I asked a female employee a questions a question within a minute of coming through the door, and received a nonpolite response. That pretty much set the tone and I left without a purchase
Terrible store! Very rude customer service worker who is always there. Patrons are just as rude. No one asks if you need help. No one smiles at you or greets you. I wondered around the store trying to figure out the confusing layout and no one asked if I needed help. Workers all look miserable and unhappy too. I will NEVER return to this store. Robinson Township, Ross, and Hempfield Township area Targets are much better.
I was at The Target Store in West Mifflin. I was shopping for a client I work with. She has special needs and was shopping for her new apartment. We shopped for over an hour. Picking all new bedding, pillows, towels, lamp and radio, total coming in over 300.00 dollars. At the check out the check was declined because she has never wrote a check there before! Ridiculous ! All the info was on her check, not a new acct and she proper idea. Can not understand this?300.00
Dirty, always out of stock, typically in disarray, and staff unhelpful. I once tried to report a hit and run in their parking lot, and had to interrupt the talking staff members in Customer Service after waiting for nearly 5 minutes (they saw me, and no one else was there). Usually not busy, probably for good reason (like whats listed above).
I usually go to Target in Monroeville (which sucks, -0 stars) and decided to try the West Mifflin Target today. I am a couponer and I went through self checkout to avoid holding up the only lane that was open. A young girl with blonde hair named Olivia helped me with my coupons and she was so nice and patient! She was polite and was very helpful! Because of her, I will be coming to this target from now on. But this Target defiantly needs remodeled! It is very outdated compared to every other Target!
HATE IT AND WANT IT FIXED NOW. Nikki (district manager) was very rude. She refused to sell me a item at this store and every store near that one. Target mobile is apprently not with Verizon which is what the item brand is. And target isnt with target mobile? NEVER EVER SHOP AT THIS STORE.
People that work there are the most unhelpful people ever they threw my sister stuff in the bag acting like that was a product that was checked out but It wasnt my sister said she wasnt leaving till she got help well it took them forever to help her because there was only one person helping self check out really going down hill

2021-07-26I am pretty impressed with this Target. They sell many vegan, plant-based and nontoxic skincare and haircare products. I typically come here and spend an hour in the skincare and haircare aisles, looking at all the awesome products they offer. If I have time, I go check out their shoes and purses. You can get a good pair of shoes for $15 to $30 here.

2022-05-29I called about a little after 7 p.m. today. A young lady by the name Alyssa, helped me with my questions. She also went above and beyond to help me find an item I wish to purchase. I didnt want to drive all the way to the place, to find out they sold out. She said it was the last one, and all I needed was to give her my name, and it will be on hold for me. Thank you Very Much Alyssa, we dont see many places to where people go the extra mile. I appreciate you!!

2022-06-28This is a nice Target but they have a dreadfully small grocery section, and we love getting groceries from Target because their app makes it SO easy to find everything by telling you exactly what aisle it’s in.They were missing lots of produce like salad, spinach, broccoli, etc. and other items like matcha powder, buffalo chicken dip, and TV dinners.Don’t get me wrong. I know there’s a major shortage of just about everything right now, but this was NOT that. THIS was simply having a physically small grocery section and missing huge areas that would otherwise be there, stocked or empty. We’ll be getting groceries from the Target at South Hills Village from now on. We usually do and figure we’d give West Mifflin a chance, but unless/until something is done about this, I suppose that chance was a mistake.

2022-04-06Typically this store seems to be fine, but tonight I was thrown off because I encountered many complaining employees. I was in the fitting room and the employees were talking “amongst themselves” about theft and they were being quite vocal about how tired they are of cleaning up the fitting rooms. I understand this is frustrating, but I felt like a nuisance just being in there to try on clothes. I also tried to return an Easter wreath that completely fell apart within the first week of having it (it was assembled by hot glue and the glue seemed to melt in the sun) and the girl who handled my return had no idea what this item was (even though I bought the item about two weeks ago) and when she approached the register she loudly exclaimed that she was tired of crying at work and seemed to be moping around. She said the wreath was not in the system but they were still selling it on the shelves when I went to do some shopping. I did not end up getting any credit for the wreath and asked her to throw it away because it was literally in pieces. Just a disappointing trip, I come here to relax and shop but I left feeling anxious based on my interactions.

2022-06-04Im staying in a hotel near here and went by to get out my room a bit and get some essentials. An employee stopped and chit chatted with me for a bit and it was a good time! Everyone else I passed by was also very friendly and helpful. Best Target experience ever!

2022-06-03I always come to this target. Today, June 2, 2022, was thw worst experience thus far. Its about 9:50 PM and Cindy working lane 1 decides tonight is a great night to be racist. Im currently second in line at the self checkout where only 2/4 lanes are open and Cindy just finished checking her customer out but had her light off. I politely excused myself 3 times while stepping closer to them each time, pointing at the sign asking if you are open. But no, Cindy and the lady she was chatting with looked past me and since no one else was there she kept talking, so I returned to my space in self checkout since it was a race against the closing time. The conversation ended and Cindy flicks her light on and looks around. 1/2 of the self checkouts opens and a lady in front of me begins to walk forward. Cindy yells for her to come over and the lady points to the open self checkout but Cindy insists and the lady gives in and goes over. Some would argue Cindy cant hear. I think she just wasnt interested in a black patron as once I stepped away her light went on and convo ended. Id rather have more self checkout lanes than to encounter another Cindy in this target again. On a lighter note, thank you to the young curly blonde lead that had a ponytail in that night. Your kindness as I left your store was great! Hopefully Cindy can take a few notes sometime soon.

2022-02-04Fairly large store. Never had a bad experience here in my several years of visiting.
