Usually I have no problem with anyone who work at the hospital, but earlier I was trying to be reassured about my kid appointment. I spoke to someone, had me on hold for some time. She returned and thought I was someone else, I replied and then she hung up. Called back, but couldnt get threw. Smh

Who on earth is hiring the people that answer the phones now? Popeye’s or McDonalds? There should be no reason for a woman to pick up the phone, listen, then hang up when I was transferred to confirm an appointment for my daughter. Called again to get through, and was treated with attitude I’d expect from a 15 year old fast food worker that I just asked for extra ketchup. 0 level of professionalism. Also I’m not sure which Dr saw my child at their 6 month check up as their regular was out, but she made a weird comment about my child’s hair color and her father. I guess because we are African American and lighter skinned. Either way, inappropriate and strange. If you can’t have a crumb of professionalism please step back from this job. You’re handling people’s children and as you know, patience runs seriously thin with all matters related to them when dealing with unprofessionalism and laziness.

Completely unprofessional, a day before my appointment I was called by the pediatric center to give them my insurance numbers, the woman on the phone told me I was all set never mentioned I had to call the insurance company to give more information I come for my appointment today and the woman at the desk is completely rude from the start and told me I was told on the phone yesterday I had to call in to give more information, if that was the case I would have taken care of everything yesterday to be prepared for today. I eventually get it situation was 5 minutes over my appointment time mind you I was ontime for my appointment . I will call the office manager and make a complaint this is ridiculous and completely unfair to my new born.

Ever since COVID they’ve gotten messy, rude and inconsiderate. It’s a pain to get an appointment or they will cancel appointments for any given reason. They will not take accountability for their mistakes. my daughter had an appointment schedule for her 2 months shots, witch btw took a while to even get because her original doctor was leaving and apparently no body knew, finally they figured it out so they schedule with a different doctor but the day of her appointment it was canceled due to them “not having her medical insurance on file” but fail to acknowledge that no body asked for this information when the appointment was made. after providing the insurance information they couldn’t give me the appointment back because they already had giving it away to somebody else in a matter of hrs. Now my daughter won’t get her shots and the next available appointment is not until 2 weeks from now over something that I had no fault on but some how the receptionist was trying to make it seem like i was at fault. My daughter will be 3 months when she finally get her 2 months old shots. I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated

This center was amazing! From the moment I called to set my appointment Donna was amazing! She helped me set the appt and we shared a few laughs! When I finally came in Brittany was awesome as well! Very professional and sweet! Thank you for that Brittany because I was so nervous! The doctor that did my tooth extraction was very nice! Very considerate to the fact that I was scared! He was patient and I felt things would be ok! My sedation doctor was Dr. Bell! She made me feel so comfortable! She didn’t make me feel like I was annoying her by taking up so much time to decide what I wanted to do! That was a big deal for me because u want to feel comfortable with the people who are responsible for you while you are sedated! My procedure was a breeze! Before I knew it it was over! If I ever had to get a tooth removed again, I would definitely come back! Thank you! Professionalism is important!

I was scheduled for an appointment at 2:30 pm and still at 3:50 my child has not been seen, even when they were aware that she had another appointment with the ophthalmologist at Temple as well. This has been my child’s pediatrician since birth, but I believe it’s time to change. To me this is so disrespectful as your time is not just as valuable as there’s. Something needs to change

Dr. Cash assumed I didn’t have a job and also didn’t know what to do with my child because I am black and I look very young but to her satisfaction I am 25, her professionalism sucks. She’s very short, my daughter had a genetic disorder and she has the nurse assistant hand me the papers and walks out I have all the lectures about getting food stamps which I make to much money for but you don’t elaborate on a disorder my child child has that’s so backwards. My daughter no longer goes to her.

I really dont like taking my baby here. Its not temples fault, but the client base that takes their children here are inner city lower income families. I just hate being in the waiting room while kids run around like it;s a jungle and dont have any respect for the other patients in the room. The administrative staff isnt really friendly or professional. The nurses are very sweet and the doctors are professional but the waiting rooms are dirty and i fear even putting my child down to sit. The location just makes it what it is. If they moved the offices out of that location, im sure itd be a more plesant experience. Also, I always am there over an hour for my daughters immunizations. I am always called back at least 10 minutes past my appointment time and I wait in the patient room for close to 20-30 minutes every time. I had to switch doctors after my last visit because of this.

For the most part Temple Pediatric Care is a very nice facility. My only issue is they have a sick clinic kind of like an urgent care that you can bring your child into instead of going to an emergency room if its not that serious of an issue. I went in today to take my 2 month old daughter to be seen at the sick clinic and she was turned away because they arent her primary care givers. I dont understand why they call it a sick clinic if patients have to be cared for their in order to be seen at their sick clinic.

I have been taking my son there for 11 years now. His nurse practitioner Burke is awesome. She is a very experienced clinician. Tried switching closer to home and did not like the practice. I switched back right away.
