We had our ups and downs at this apartment. They have a Superb super. From there however, it is downhill. The apartment is too small for the price. Overall however, good experience and good service, but it is a shame that their management is a bunch of thieves that forces me to give this place one star. Dont let their friendliness fool you. They say one thing and mean another. We specifically asked the property manager before turning in our keys that we were going to give her the apartment as clean as possible. She responded to us by saying I wouldnt worry too much about it and your apartment should be fine the way it is as they are going to gut it out and renovate it. We cleaned it nevertheless, and gave them the apartment in great condition nevertheless. We left a few items in the refrigerator and a brand new unopened Mr. Clean in the closet. They took off $250 from our security deposit, for trash and cleaning. Pure theft! Made many attempts to try to call them yet no one answers. I would understand if we hadnt specifically asked the property manager if it needs to be immaculate.
I’ve been sending friends, clients & referrals here for years.Management and staff is always accommodating and friendly.The Property Manager, Andrea is one of the best in her field, she goes above and beyond the call of duty.Maintenance is always courteous and responds quickly.Great location, well landscaped grounds and great service overall.
The reason why I gave Metropolitan Bala Cynwyd 5 stars can be summed up in 3 words.......ANDREA and MIKE!!! From the beginning of my lease, right to the very end, they were professional, timely and VERY accommodating. My 2 years went by to quick. The complex is in the perfect locale of shops, stores, restaurants and center city. Most important, the deposit to move in is VERY ATTRACTIVE. Do yourself a favor and Move In! You wont be sorry.
Had the pleasure of living here for 2 years. Andrea the property manager was always so pleasant,courteous & professional to deal with. Mike the maintenance guy was a gentleman & promptly attended to anything we ever needed. In addition to all this the location is amazing. Highly recommend!
I am a former tenant who only moved because we purchased a house. We were actually sad to leave. Management and maintenance are both top notch - friendly, responsive, and thorough. It’s a fantastic location in one of the best school districts! Perfect home!
I lived at the metropolitan Bala-Cynwyd for eight years. Great service and one of the best management companies! I had bad experiences renting and this place has been Wonderful!

2021-10-26Unlike most places, the management here really cares and is responsive!The grounds are gorgeous and promote a sense of community and comfort.The apartments arent giant but they are absolutely spacious and have been well maintained.Our unit was newly renovated and has a stellar kitchen island, in unit washer dryer, and a dishwasher.Every room is well heated in the winter, no leaks, no surprises.Any minor issues that could pop up at any place are fixed within a day or two at the very most.For the time we were here, we really could not have asked for more.Andrea and Ted take real pride in this property, its management, and its maintenance. I always felt like I was treated with the utmost respect and understanding.

2021-07-15Andrea made the whole process an absolute breeze! She genuinely cares about her job and the tenants that live here. She went above and beyond to answer any and all questions that I had. She also really knows how to connect with you on a personal level to make you feel that much more comfortable. Super responsive and dedicated to making sure your stay is as pleasant as possible. There is not a better property manager out there, 5 stars is not enough!

2021-08-14This is one of the beat places to live.Great location and my apartment was nicely updated with all stainless steel appliances.The best thing about the metropolitan is Andrea the property manager.She always answered my emails immediately and was very attentive to our needs.You can’t go wrong renting from her.

2020-04-19I enjoyed living here. When I moved here I wanted a temporary place to live at first, but we stayed longer than expected. Management is wonderful. Property Manager, Andrea D. is very professional, competent and understanding to concerns you may have. You can depend on Mike for prompt repairs. The community is quiet, safe and peaceful. Apartment is near to schools, shopping and place of worship. I highly recommend this apartment complex.

2021-01-07We had a wonderful experience at the Metropolitan Bala Cynwyd. From the beginning of our lease the property management, in particular Andrea and Mike, were kind, welcoming and attentive in making sure that we had the best living experience possible. The apartment complex itself was very well maintained including the courtyard grounds and all storage areas, and we truly loved our renovated apartment. Would highly recommend choosing this complex for Bala Cynwyd living.

2018-09-07I have lived here for 10 years and my cats and I are absolutely content! My own apartment is the perfect size for me; Mike, our onsite maintenance genius, is prompt and professional and friendly whenever there is a problem; our property manager, Andrea, has her office on site and is readily available to help with anything that is needed. Even though we are located right on a busy section of Montgomery Avenue, the street noise is barely audible, thanks to the rich trees and landscaping in front of the buildings. The property is beautifully maintained, inside and out. Public areas such as hallways and stairwells are cleaned several times a week. The outdoor grounds are well manicured and full of trees and flowers in the spring and summer. Snow removal in winter is prompt and efficient, making the walkways and parking lots as safe as possible. Management frequently accommodates upgrades whenever your lease renews. For example, if your apartment needs to be repainted or the tub reglazed, these are considered reasonable requests and will be done at your convenience. Obviously I have never moved out, but from past tenants I know that the move-out process is handled smoothly, fairly, and as easy as the move in process.Anyone considering moving to the area should definitely consider this apartment complex!

2019-05-06Andrea, the property manager, is incredibly competent, kind, and meticulous with every detail of the rental experience. She earns 10 stars! Mike, the superintendent, is also amazing. Both Andrea and Mike are the reasons why living here is a very positive experience and I highly recommend them!

2020-12-29“Nice” place to live if you need to reside in the area for education, or professional purposes. Dogs are not welcomed within the court yard, which is strange in my opinion. If you are “black”, don’t expect your input/ complaints about noise, etc. to matter much. However, when an issue arises, you will be sought after/ blamed/ given a written warning, WITHOUT being questioned. You will not receive an apology for being falsely accused unless you “fight for it”. The apartments are small, they are newly renovated & have a modern look. However, the walls are very hollow, and you will hear almost everything from neighbors who aren’t necessarily “apartment friendly”. Some people can live in apartments, & some people need a house. Everything appeared to be “roses” coming in, & you won’t know the “real deal”, unless you actually move in. Experience is the best teacher✨

2019-10-29The Metropolitan apartments are a great choice if youre looking for quality housing on the Mainline. The apartments are gorgeous, well maintained and the complex is professionally managed by both Andrea and Mike who do a superb job at keeping things in order and insuring tenants are completely satisfied throughout their tenancy. I would highly recommend!
