If you want to live in a place that reeks of chemicals and cigarette smoke, this would be it. When you complain, they send a manager around to claim that he doesnt smell anything. Overall, an utterly miserable dump--from the lack of weatherstripping on the door to the suspicious chemical odors being deliberately pumped in from a neighboring unit. Actually, it would have to improve drastically to be worth even being considered a dump.

Great place to live. Diverse, peaceful, quiet. Most people are good neighbors. Highly recommend for convenience and location. Easy access to food and dining in nearby Hershey and Hummelstown. Shopping nearby is plentiful too.

I lived here for 2 years. This was my first ever apartment. I moved out to the Hershey area for work and I had issues finding an apartment when I first arrived. I passed this place and I was like wow, this looks great! I was able to meet with the leasing office and they were super helpful with securing an apartment for me. My apartment overall has been great, only a few issues with bugs in the spring and a couple of maintenance issues, but the maintenance crew took care of everything quickly and correctly which is nice! Its also nice to be so close to the grocery store and gas stations, as well as Harrisburg/Hershey. Its a little pricey, but for location its worth it. Overall, great apartment experience.

Lived there for two years (2019-2021) and I could not be happier. My first day to my last day, customer service (leasing agents) were very polite and understanding and maintenance was excellent and very quick. I have recommended this place to others, without any reservations.

I’m currently looking for an apartment in Chicago and I can not find one with positive reviews to save my life. I looked back here to compare to see if I should base an apartment complex off of the reviews and the reserves is still the place to be. I lived here for three years from 2014-2017 and I had zero issues! Extremely quiet place, great commute to work and I never had a single safety concern while living there. No bugs, great running paths, super market across the street, appliances never broke, attached garage, I could go on and on. This is the standard I’m comparing the apartments in Chicago to and they can’t hold a light to the service I received here. That’s the only reason I’m writing a review. Move here and you won’t regret it.

This was my intro to metro Harrisburg when I had moved from FL in 2008. Though I was appalled with the areas cliquey, reserved, standoffish population, I relished this communitys leaders (Lonnie?) and its polite residents. I also cherished the updated gym, hot tub, dry sauna, private garage, walking trails, ample parking, and diversity here. The reason I vacated my lease after a year was my upstairs, stay at home neighbor whose kid would run around all hours of the day or night. I am autistic and cannot tolerate stomping around above me...So if that bothers you, please select a top floor unit.

Great, convenient and safe location for families with nice amenities but very disappointed in unprofessional office staff. Our apartment also was infested with ants, spiders and other bugs even after they sent out an exterminator. The units look nice but seem old and we dealt with water leakage in multiple areas that maintenance took their time to fix. For the price of rent, units could afford some upgrades. We will not be renting here again.

This is an EXCEPTIONAL place to stay ... theres great value and some fantastic amenities! JENNIFER, the Assistant Property Manager, is a JOY to work with! Shes attentive and accommodating wherever possible and thanks to her I was able to get into an apartment on very short notice. Shes CARING, understanding, and a great face for The Reserve and Gardens! Best wishes on your search ... GIVE THEM A TRY!

Went to tour the community and was very very mistreated by the leasing agent. Don’t know her name but is a short lady with long black hair. Very rude. Said she had no appointment made for me even though I spoke with someone earlier and made and appointment. She excused her rudeness on being diabetic.

The main offices customer service is awful and unprofessional. We have never been late paying our rent since weve been residing at the Gardens for 15 months now. Unfortunately, due to losing my sister from a fatal car accident, my family spent a little bit over that month from traveling and other expenses necessary to attend the funeral. After I dropped off the rent for that month did I realize that my familys account was going to be in the negative. I reported the issue immediately to the office about my situation to Jennifer. She stated since she could not see the bounced check yet she could not do anything about it. I guess a week later or so, she saw it. We still got charged a $25 fee and had to use money order. When I called her about it, she was rude, unproffessional, explaining will you let me finish while Im inquiring the method payment I should use since i was told I had that day to pay for it. She further explained she already spoke to my husband about the instruction twice already. With lack of empathy from her, she represented the Gardens and Reserve. No Im sorry for your loss but instead you should be glad youre being charged a $25 fee instead of $50. Overall, my family dont want to support businesses that dont care about people. Though the maintenance staff is awesome and the location of the Gardens is wonderful with excellent school district for our children, this is a heartless business that care only about money. My husband and I cannot wait to finish our lease so we dont have to deal with Jennifer in the main office anymore.
