I have had most positive experiences with this particular UPS store. I have used them for shipping -- things always well packed and arriving intact at their destination. My favorite service that they provide though, is that of shredding. I took multiple boxes of tax documents, etc. and felt that, for sure, they would be secure until destroyed. Pleasant people. Good and important services.
I have stopped in many times, and every time the service has been spot on! I have brought packages in for mailing that needed taped...no problem.I needed a presentation printed out in color...not only did they complete the job in a timely manner but they stepped my through getting it sent to them, and making sure it was printed on the appropriate paper ensuring I looked professional when I presented it to my client.The staff is knowledgeable, patient, always professional, and always has a smile and a polite word. Wonderful store for shipping, printing, copying, mailing..... well you get it. They do an amazing number of things, and they do it well. I’ve been going here since they opened, and they have always been expert and quick in anything I needed. Really appreciate the helpful staff.
I loved this store!!!!!! They customized my baby shower invitations, let me proof them, printed them, and they had direct mailing. Truly one of the best experiences I have ever had. The staff was patient, detail oriented, and truly a pleasure to work with. Thank you Rachel and staff for being a one stop shop!!!!! I will be back for direct mailing on thank you cards. Once my little bundle of joy is here Im getting one of the canvas wraps they are just beautiful!!!!
We have used the design services at UPS Store at Yorktown quite often and Im so happy with the customer experience and expertise from the team. Theres always last-minute signage, posters, and flyers needed for an event and I can always count on the UPS Store to help with a professional finish. I do like to apologize in advance for rating so low but honesty is the key. The low rating is for customer service skills. This store could use some improvements being in Yorktown plaza you would think they would find more respectful employees. I am not referring to their knowledge as far as doing their job especially the design team, I am referring to their interactions skills. I mean my god where was this crew recruited at? There’s at least 5 employees there and only 1 employee greets me i do not know her name , but the blondish girl always greets me and she goes beyond being nice getting my finger prints done a few times and shipping my items out without any confusion. The rest of them especially the guy with clean shave face have no people skills when it comes to interacting with customers, none. I do not want to discourage anyone from visiting the store like I said they are excellent in designing and printing, and of course getting all ur shipping needs completed. I own a local business and they did a great job helping me out with everything I ever needed, Banners business cards etc.
Always great interaction with the employees. Always fast and easy service. I usually need something printed out and I just email it over and it always ready when I get there. The best part is the helpful, happy employees. Its never fun to come across grumpy people...and ive never had that problem at this store!!
I have been using this Yorktown ups store located off west 12th st for over 2.5 years. I am there daily shipping out and have a mailbox. I love the crew that is always pleasant and nice to me and my husband. BUT recently there has been a new employee by the name of Oriana and we have been nothing but nice to her, we have only once been greeted by her that was it she truly never says anything but gives us a bad looks as if she is having the worst day of her life which i understand people can have once or twice but every single day is just not right in their work environment and recently she had gone too far when we asked her about our mailbox and she walked away and said I’ll be right back. We waited for over 10 min while she was on the phone arguing with someone throwing the F bomb and so much cursing that me and two other customers over heard. We just walked out and couldn’t believe it. Courtney and Christie are my fav always polite always calls me by my name truly both have the most amazing customer service skills positive attitude that I have ever came dealt with. Even the new guy is very courteous and polite. I really do appreciate this store but we have been truly disappointed the way it’s headed and if the owners do care about their customers they will deal with accordingly. We have decided its time to close our box next term and start shipping with a different store as we no longer feel the warmth of being welcomed to this store. It’s so sad and I honestly cried after we have made this choice as this store made our day it was like family when we go in and the excellent services that were provided with were amazing. Thank you Courtney and Christie we will miss you the most 😔.
My business cards are designed by the Yorktown Center UPS Store. I have received compliments on the durability and the quality of my cards. Word to mouth is a huge part of my business. It is nice to work with people that share the same pride and values as I do. I have refereed my clients to this store because the staff is fast, honest, and always helpful. The UPS in Yorktown Center is my go to store for ALL of my business needs. I would be lost without them, running all over town for what I need. Yes they ship and package and they do an amazing job with all of my print for my business, but what makes this store stand out is the hands on approach and individualized attention and help you receive from the knowledgeable staff and owners. Rachel, the owner, is available for consultations to guide me in what exactly my business cards and marketing material should say to grab the attention of my customer. Thats important to me. We as business owners need that gudance. Im grateful to have them at my fingertips for all of my business needs!
My local design and printing place! My business relies on professional designs for promotional materials. I could not do it without the UPS store in Yorktown Center. They take my ideas and concepts and come up with amazing designs for cards, rack cards and flyers. The staff is friendly and beyond helpful! I know whatever I need I can ask and they have an answer. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
I will never come back to this location. Several years ago they helped me with a project. Wanted to do the same thing again recently and was met by a blank stare. I was told that the staff turned over and they had no idea how to connect their email to the picture printer. Asked for a manager and they were not in but supposed to call me the next day. No call. Came in a few days later and was made to feel like I was a bother and in their way. Still no manager and no call. Came back a week later and got another dose of we cant be bothered. I went to the UPS store on Peach Street and they took care of me in about 10 minutes. Yorktown Center location is not just incompetent, but rude and not courteous. Thanks for nothing.
I was in need of fingerprinting service for a Criminal History Records Check. My search for a provider of these services initially led me to the Liberty Center UPS store. Upon arriving, the UPS store associated informed me that they didnt offer fingerprinting services at the Liberty Center location. The associate stated that the fingerprinting services are provided at the Yorktown Centre UPS store, but that they were closing soon, that I should hurry. I decided to try to make it to the Yorktown Centre UPS store, prior to their closing time. My arrival and subsequent request was initially met with concern about completing the fingerprinting prior to closing. After further discussion, the UPS store associate obliged to my request and completed the fingerprinting service, extending their workday. This was very much appreciated!! Thank you. Highly recommend the Yorktown Centre UPS store!
Very unprofessional staff that has no patience. My grandma went there to get finger prints and the blonde hair female was so rude and cruel to her because she wasn’t putting her fingers correctly on the scanner that Was so SAD I asked them if they can be more patient they ignored me with a smirk. There was nobody in the store so they were not busy but just impatient and rude. Whoever owns this place I hope you see this and do something about ur employees. We will never come back to this UPS again.
After the repeated emails I figured I’d share the adequate experience I had at ups, not really sure how it would be above and beyond it was literally mailing out a package but they mailed it out with prestige, I commend ups for the amazing experience. I don’t know how I ever survived with out them, mailing a package has never been easier and more annoying due to the repeated emails to rate them. Ups for the win!!!! Side note USPS is almost always faster in delivering packages to me.
We worked with the in-house graphic designer, Christie, to get place cards made for a wedding. She made the process extremely simple and provided a quick turnaround time. Not to mention, the design of the cards was flawless!! 10/10 recommend for any printing and design needs.
First off, this store appears to be the only place in town that does ink fingerprints. After speaking to them on the phone, was able to setup an appt the same day and was in and out in a much quicker period of time than expected. All of the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Cant say enough about businesses and staff like this. Definitely recommend.
My local UPS Store gets a ***** 5 star rating from me. Recently I needed to send various items to my son away at a rehabilitation center, and the staff was so helpful with packaging and suggestions to help me save money as well . Thank you, staff at the Yorktown UPS Center-Erie PA!
15 of 17 customers I spoke with agree as well. This place is poorly managed. Extremely rude associates. STAY AWAY rather drive across town to 38th and peach and deal with positive attitude and great customer service skills. The owner replies to posts and always says the same thing but never really does anything about her employees. Establish a business is hard but to maintain it is also part of the journey.
I ordered invitations for my sons first birthday this month. I walked in with a vision in my head and Christie made it happen within two days. Everything was perfect - including the hand drawn monsters she made herself! There were a few things I wanted to tweak to make more Monster Bash related, and she was so easy to work with and took care of it right away. I have received so many compliments on the invitations and everyone is asking where I got them done. Great job!
This staff is the best in all of Erie. In a difficult situation they were all able to have my best interest and assist me in getting done what I needed to get done. Sean, Kortney and Rachel... I had to use them to return and amazon order and the package was vacuum shipped when it was sent to us. The rep said I needed to fit it into the original packaging and I spent 5 minutes on the floor trying to fit it into something. I couldn’t fit it in and he then said it would be fine but a little too late. NEVER AGAIN!
The UPS drivers that I have had contact with are, professional, and caring.We have a duck nesting in our front yard behind Iriss; where, the drivewayends. After not making to the truck the first time; due to having to now use the back door; and having the beJESUS scared out of them; they now putour deliveries where they will not scare our mama duck. How is that forgrade A professionalism and caring. It is EXCELLENCE in action in my book. THANKS guys! Love you all.
Do GO TO this shop, because THIS IS NOT a real UPS shop (Per their Words: We are private store.) So the service is really awful, and they charge extra fees for normally UPS free service (like if you want to print the mail label there they will charge you computer using fee). You even can not complain because they are not real UPS store. NEVER go there and use UPS anymore.
Just received our server we had shipped from here. The packaging Was all mangled and the front bezel was completely destroyed. They told our individual who dropped it off please dont tell me how to package this. Enjoy our insurance claim for 25k.I wouldnt pay to use this place again. Very rude and clearly dont know what theyre doing.
One of the worst carriers out there. Never go with UPS, I was forced from the retailer that I bought from. They couldnt see my apartment number from their truck so they decided to take it back to the UPS store and now theyre basically refusing to let me pick up unless I call around to 5 different customer service lines which you know have automated voice messaging systems that are never fun because you never get what youre looking for. Again, worst carrier out there. I refuse to ever purchase from another retailer that uses them as their carrier.
Was just in there today 1/24/19, icky vibe. As has been the case recently. Had to wait for clerk to get done chatting before I was greeted as other clerk just looked past me and walked into the back room. Ive been using Yorktown location for couple years now, but new staff have the customer service skills of a T.S.A agent during a federal shutdown. Think Ill start using USPS for my shipping needs or find another ups store with better staff.... The two stars are for the efficiency of the dropoff SYSTEM they have in place....
I just had a driver ,deliver a large package, than set in leaning against my inter wall of my porch and loudly coughed in front of it. I am so upset right now. No idea if it was delibert or not,it sounded forced,I hear it all the way up stairs , they require masks in the store, I all ways were one anytime I go out . I most certainly dont cough on things, I am still so angry right now. As soon as I calm down I am going to make a formal complaint. They should be masking the drivers, I dont want to touch my delivery now .really tired of is animosity towards the public.
This was the worst experience ever. My package was sent off on January 9th. My package never arrived and I started calling the ups store in Atlanta, Georgia on Dunwoody, about a week later. They stated that package never made it to Ohio and that they were going to call and see where the location of my package. I called them back 3 days later and they were unable to find my package. The store representative stated, they were going to file an investigation with the customer service. This was back at the end of January. I have called ups customer service numerous times and I kept getting the same answer that the investigation was still going on. I called the ups store numerous times and they stated that they don’t understand why the investigation is taking so long. I just called customer service again for the 20th time and I was told that the claim was just filed today. That is rediculous, it has been almost two months, since this whole investigation started. I have had to replace my badge, which was not cheap, and 2 outfits are gone along with other personal items. I will never use ups to ship anything, the customer service was the worst. I never received a phone call from them and they were the ones that was supposed to be helping me. I would not recommend ups to non one.
While in the process of moving, the staff at this store was exceptionally helpful. They did a lot of copying, faxing, printing e:mails & documents for me. I could not have completed the required information without their help. Rachel, tell your father-in-law & David Land I said hello.
Absolutely TERRIBLE service. Went one day for fingerprints which is listed on their website. THREE employees were standing around with no other customers and would not help me and told me I had to schedule an appointment and come back FOUR days later. I come back only to find out they dont actually DO what they say they can and wasted four days of me trying to get my application sent.
Sent a expensive insured freight shipment, there was a problem with delivery no contact from store. PayPal needed freight tracking number, called twice went in once more left phone and email still no contact, its a shame previous experience with Sean was great this time not so much....
If I could give negative stars, I would... Came in for finger printing and there was a problem with my registration. Uneducated and very unhelpful staff. I also believe they are racist.I asked to use a computer and the girl told me I had to use my phone, and took off. She was clearly too busy to be bothered by me.They helped a guy after me get his prints and a lady after me came in. She had the same problem with her registration as I did, but they let her use the computer. They bent over backwards to help the customers that came in after me. Apparently, I am too white.Manager came out to help me when I started questioning them about it. She spoke to me like I was an infant. Still did not offer the use of the computer, and barely helped me figure it out on my phone... I tried to explain I needed to hurry up so I could get my kids off the bus and she continued blabbing on, speaking to me in a degrading manner, like I was a child. I was angry with the way I was getting treated, and let her know about it and she told me to get out.I finally convinced her to get my prints, after she and her staff had me so upset, I was sobbing.I will never use their location again.

2022-06-25Generally I’m never in this store longer than 5 minutes. I only really use it to return Amazon packages but this store has been here for as long as I can remember. So I appreciate the free returns too!

2020-12-01I feel sometimes positive things need to be said about a business. The service from the employees at the UPS on 12th/Yorktown is definitely special and out of the ordinary. Each time I need to go in there.....I am greeted with a friendly hello and smile and willingness to assist me. It takes me about 30 minutes to drive to this particular UPS but, I honestly would drive even farther away for such efficient service!! A big thanks to these employees for being so helpful and friendly to their customers!! I appreciate you!!! Thank you:):):)

2022-03-05Courtney should be cloned! She is so competent, friendly, and highly experienced. When I asked shere have you been? Courtney said she works mostly in the back now. I can only hope she returns to the front of the store to offer friendly service that I think would benefit the customers experience. Courtne is the best.

2021-11-18Ive been to this location dozens of times and always received superier service. This morning I discovered a flaw. Ive previously only come to this store mid afternoon or later. This is my 1st and only time Ive ever attempted to come here in the morning and Ill never come again. Standing outside for 15 minutes at the front door while the employee sits inside on her cell phone and does not open at 8 clock is extremely frustrating... it clearly states on the door it opens at 8 AM. It also clearly states on the website it opens at 8 AM. Why the employee inside decided to not open the store this morning or even bother to say anything to me is mind boggling. Never, ever, again will I come in the morning to the store.

2018-03-22Life and time savers! Ive used this store for the past year at least multiple times a month, if not multiple times a week. I always have a great experience at this UPS store. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They help me pack and ship items, return items, get fingerprints done, make copies, print business cards and gift certificates for my business. They are quick and convenient. I actually also drive here for my USPS shipments as well as they take care of those too! Makes my life simple and easy and I really appreciate the service! The hours of operation are great as well!
