Lazy workers..want you to bag your own items when it clearly states that AMAZON returns don’t need to be bagged! Let me go to my usually spot where the workers want to earn their paycheck! As you can read from the owners response! They are also unprofessional but since my standards is WAY to high for this area I will take business elsewhere like you suggested! Once again no apology but being new to this area I’m starting to see it’s the normal!!
When my regular freight shippers were unwilling to ship large glass items I bought from auction, I reached out to this store. I am SO glad I did! They packed and crated three very fragile and difficult items for freight delivery across the country to the west coast. Packaging was first class and beautifully done. Communication was excellent and my emails were always answered quickly. My items arrived completely unscathed. I highly recommend and will use this store again.
The staff at this UPS location are so wonderful, kind, patient and attentive. I went in a week or so ago to print photos and the young woman who helped me was so lovely (I feel awful I forget her name!). All of a sudden, someone who was at the counter checking out collapsed on the ground and the women who was helping her quickly jumped in and grabbed her and everyone working there went into emergency mode. Honestly, if you were to ever have a medical emergency at a store, you would want it to be there, because everyone was so quick, calm, and called 911 right away. I was so impressed with how they handled the situation and how they made everyone feel safe. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! And- added bonus is that they always have the best music on in the store :) Thank you so much to everyone at this location- please know we appreciate all you do!
Tahniyah helped me so much! Someone threw away my box for an item I wanted to return. It was a odd long size box. I went to Loews and Home Depot with no avail. I called UPS on N 3rd and Tahniyah answered and told me to bring the item in , “she got me”. When I came in she remembered I called her and her manager where attentive and handled me quickly taught me how to email the label and gave me my receipt. We always write reviews when we have a problem I will intentionally right a review when I have a great experience. Thank you Tahniyah for making a problem turn into an answer. BTW it was clean as the board of health in there as well and the outside to be on a busy corner. Very clean.
When they first opened, the wife and husband team that ran it...wow. Fantastic. Friendly, helpful, engaging, knowledgeable.As a fellow veteran I made it a point to frequent them.Since then, over time, the newer staff have become increasingly less friendly, often seemingly annoyed that customers are there. Gruff for no reason, short clipped, borderline angry answers if you have a question.I want to keep going here, but with such poor customer service? Hard to say..
I went to this UPS yesterday after being scammed by movers and needed to ship 30 boxes across the country. They were the MOST accommodating and helpful team Ive ever dealt with. Not only did they come to my apartment with me and help bring all 30 boxes to the store but they also helped me check out quickly and made sure to inform me of all the insurance policies and what to expect. After having the most stressful experience dealing with the scam movers, they calmed my nerves and made me feel confident about my move. They even helped to move the delivery date of all 30 boxes out so that they would not arrive before I get to Colorado. I am SO grateful to the women that were there yesterday to help me during this hard time. Thank you for going above and beyond!
Wow, wow, wow! This UPS store has great service. I live in Chicago but purchased a large antique in a Philly auction and contacted Dwright and his team to ship it for me. They picked up, packed and shipped my item and I didn’t have to worry about it.Their communication was quick and very detailed. The price was extremely fair and the quote was easy to understand. The team at this store packed my antique with great care - they put a lot of thought into it. Dwright even wrote me an email a few days after my package delivered to check to make sure it arrived in good shape - THAT is great service!I am impressed and will definitely use this store again to pack and ship for me in the future if the need arises.Thank you Dwright and the whole store team
I was very pleased with the service that I received on 10/30/20. My package was delivered in two shipments. Due to the distance from my house,I only wanted to make one trip. I didnt realize that packages are only held for seven days. The young lady looked at every Old Navy package in the store. I provided her with a tracking number,and she informed me that the first package had been sent back. Before I left the store,she checked the packages to be sent back,and found my package. I called back to give a good report and discovered that she was the manager. Her customer service was above and beyond! Thank you for excellent service.
I’ve visited this store 3 times and the young ladies and their mother that work there are very very rude and act as if you coming into their store is a bother to them. I ship packages very often and I’d rather drive 20 minutes from my house to get better service shameful
Who knew Id be writing a review for the UPS Store, but here I am. I utilize the P.O. Box service and have all my packages delivered to the store.The staff are always friendly and they will even help you (if they are able to) bring packages to your car. Also, they will go above and beyond to help you. For example, I had a package from the USPS listed as delivered, but they did not have it in the store after my partner went to go grab our packages for the day. I then emailed the store ON CHRISTMAS EVE and they responded that day!!! Secondly, they informed me that they watched their security tapes and my package was in fact NOT delivered. A few days later, a neighbor brought my package over to the store as it was delivered to the wrong address. The folks at the store emailed me to inform me.I renewed my P.O. Box service with them only a few months in to using their services and I will be a customer for as long as I need the service.
Extremely helpful and the customer service blew me away. Called to ask if they sell insulated boxes for shipping frozen goods and the rep advised they dont sell it, but recommended getting a Styrofoam container and use a normal box to ship. Honestly, hadnt even considered that, but its an awesome idea. Really surprised just how helpful they were on a simple quick phone call!!!!!!
I want to give a good review for DeJuan, an employee at this UPS. She’s incredible. I was waiting outside in line in the cold to mail back a lot of samples for work. Once I got in, she boxed my 311 samples efficiently and quickly without stress. Then I dropped off a prepaid package. I asked her if the label would suffice because the barcode was a little scratched up. She asked if the extra label I had in my hand was the same. If so, I should replace it. I said yes and reached for my scissors to cut the label and tape it on. She stopped me and said I’ll take care of that and have a nice day.It’s rare to find people that enjoy helping others at their job and go the extra mile. I was stressed I was holding up the line but she moved quickly to ease everyone. Not only I got the service I wanted, but also walked out happy. Based on my experience, this UPS is the one I’m going to use moving forward. They hire amazing employees at this UPS. They brightened up the stress that comes with the holidays.
BY FAR this is the BEST UPS store ever! Not only do they have an ARRAY of services and also stocked with products (tape, envelopes, boxes, scissors, etc.) THEY have the FRIENDLIEST and most helpful owners/staff ever! I have walked in with huge things to mail. Not only do they box it all, tape it up, print the label they do it with a super smile. CONSIDERING COVID 19 when everyone is stressed out these wonderful workers smile behind their masks. I am SO Happy I discovered this UPS store. AND it is conveniently located on a corner, the store is immaculate and the service is impeccable.THANK you for going above and beyond. I feel as though a slice of heaven is in this store on earth for all of us.
This is not just the best shipping/UPS store Ive used, its just hands down a great business. The owner and his family seem like great people, and their employees do as well. Its one of the best run businesses in the area, and its always a pleasurable experience when you need their services. Highly recommended.
The one worker literally threw one of my packages into a room like it was a baseball and damaged everything inside the box. I could hear the contents breaking. It was no surprise that my customer recieved the contents destroyed. Also, when I walked in to the store no staff members were wearing masks which made me feel really uncomfortable. It wasnt until I was at the register when both workers put on masks properly. Giving three stars because its in a good location, close to septa and the manager seems understanding.
I usually do my returns at the Jenkintown UPS Store but I decided to use the UPS Store at 3rd and Girard well that was a mistake. When I walked in the guy was OK, the young lady was very very rude said I must not understand English and argumentative customer service training is in her future, to sum it up it was a bad experience for me, I will not support or recommend anyone that I know to support that store.
I like this particular UPS because its always open and the people in there are very friendly. Any time I bring something in, its scanned and even wrapped/sealed- and sometimes packed for me with my own returns to somewhere else. Im grateful for them, and grateful that theyve remained open and helpful during such a scary time for all of us. Thanks so much, UPS store
I am really happy that this location opened a few years ago! Its so convenient to my home and the staff are really helpful. Its a small store and sometimes they are busy, but they handle the lines and the waits very well. I will continue to utilize them when need be! Thanks for being a great addition to the neighborhood!
This has to be the friendliest and most helpful shipping store I have ever been to! When you walk in you are greeted with nothing but smiles. Dwight helped me ship my package and even exchanged conversation. This is the kind of people we need in the area! His wife Joy is amazing too! I will always use this UPS store to ship all of my packages over anybody else.
Nice staff, but do not set this as your preferred access point for UPS deliveries. They do not accept packages and your package will get returned to sender. Very frustrating.If in fact you can not hold packages at the location due to high volume please inform people that is the case. I was in three times looking for packages and was never informed that packages were being refused.
Every time I go into the UPS store at 3rd & Girard I am reminded how excellent the customer service is. Everyone is always kind and helpful and moreover, sincere. It is a fantastic resource for the neighborhood but also a positive representative for this rapidly changing community.
Best ups/packaging store Ive ever set foot in. Dwight and Joy have gone above and beyond to become part of the neighborhood, and get to know us, their neighbors, on an individual basis. I use them often to print flyers for community events as well as to send packages a few times a month and they know me by name. I can email them if Im in a pinch to get some printouts turned around quickly. They participate on our neighborhood facebook group and are just really great business owners, and veterans. Highly recommend - great service and great people.
Impressed with their customer Service. I witnessed Miya, helping a customer- who would have frustrated me(!) with extreme grace and respect. It was really touching and highly professional. English was his second language, and technology was his third, and he was adamant that he knew what he was talking about... even though he was missing the shipping label amongst other vital pieces of information. In a time when it is just so easy to get frustrated and lose patience- Miya was kind and respectful to this situation and to this man. Cheers to treating people right!
Mailing packages is not usually the most exciting part of my day, but every time I go here I leave with a smile. It is such a friendly place, and I love that there is often someone there to quickly scan pre-labeled packages. Today in particular, I was trying to ship something to China and I changed my mind because of the expense--the owners son (I think Kevin? Im blanking on the name) printed me out a quote and was completely understanding, no pressure. Glad theyre in the neighborhood.
This store was extremely helpful!! I had to print many items for my wedding and they were very accommodating, friendly, and really went out of their way to make it all stress-free for me! I have also been here to print countless other documents and they have always been easy to work with and very professional.
Been here plenty of times for various services like scanning, copying, shipping and thats kinda it. Each experience has been pleasant, fast and efficient, and the staff is courteous, knowledgeable and kind. They assisted me with shipping musical equipment, and the items did arrive intact which was a relief. The location is pretty convenient and I would recommend it.
I had bought 3 delicate all glass vases at Kamelot auction house and this UPS location picked them up for me and shipped them to my home. I was nervous as it was all glass being shipped, no need to be as the packing was AMAZING, very well protected and they arrived in excellent condition. The communication was fantastic, Dwight responded right away. The price was great! This was the best service I have received in years! Highly recommend!
Friendliest couple who runs the store! Always so pleasant when I come in and incredibly helpful. They stayed half an hour late one day so that I could ship a bunch of big Amazon packages. And they helped me pack and tape the boxes too! Not only is the service great, but theyre so kind and I love that they have a donation box inside that goes straight to a local shelter.
You couldnt ask for better service. The people are extremely helpful and kind. Very community orientated and conscientious. You will be greeted with a smile and a very welcoming atmosphere. Even during the busy holiday rush, they took the time to make sure they had done all they could to help. I wouldnt go anywhere else in the area. Thank you!
This place is beyond ridiculous unwilling to help. I come here every week they always take my Amazon packages unpacked and I’m on my way today they felt like they didn’t want to do their job and didn’t take my Amazon packages because they said I’m supposed to now put them in boxes when I did return the same thing last week Due to wrong sizing sent to me. They didn’t even consider offering me no options after I waited almost an hour outside. In addition to that I had a newborn with me.
I live in Ft. Lauderdale and used this UPS Store to pickup, pack, and ship a very heavy statue I purchased from a local auction house. The people were very easy to work with and the statue was packed perfectly to protect it from damage up to delivery. The package arrived as expected and my statue was in perfect condition when I unpacked it. I expect to use this UPS Store for future items I purchase in the Philadelphia area.
We rent a mailbox at the store and come in frequently to pick up packages or use the mail services here. The staff is always friendly, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. I think they actually won an award for like best UPS Store in the country or something at a UPS conference in Las Vegas last year. This is a great addition to the neighborhood and I appreciate that it is family run and minority and veteran owned. Very happy with every interaction weve had with the staff and will definitely continue to do business at the UPS Store at 3rd & Girard.
This is my exclusive shipping location for our company. I’ve shipped everything from small packages to high value, $50,000 parts for our government contracts. Dwight is a great guy, always takes special care with my packages, and the service here is top notch across the board.
I had the most pleasant shopping/mailing/customer service experience Ive had maybe ever here at the new Fishtown UPS store.Joy helped me pack and ship items and has been extremely helpful with a UPS insurance claim. Usually Im the one calling in to check on internal processes of service providers but Ive been kept up to speed the whole time.Cheers to good customer service, five stars.
Over the years, weve used a number of art packers and shippers in Philadelphia to ship purchases to us in Baltimore. To pack and ship our most recent purchase, we chose this UPS store and their service, communication, packing skills were above our expectations. I highly recommend Dwright Fowler-Davis at UPS store 6717 for anything youd like packed and sent professionally.
The store was clean and orderly when I entered. I was immediately greeted by this beautiful woman Joi. All of my packaging needs were fulfilled within minutes. I had additional questions about shredding some sensitive documents. Joi directed me to a nice young man Dwight who provided me with a more then favorable price to have my documents shredded. I was able to have the service completed the same day. I must say my first experience in this store will not be my last. I would highly recommend using the dynamic duo for all of my packaging needs and would recommend anyone to do the same.
If your willing to go into a ghetto store then this would be it... The associates were rude especially a kevin Davis and joy Patton....They were rude from the moment I walked in and out. I would not recommended this store. to anyone. And one star is way to much for this store.
I purchased porcelain items that were packed badly and arrived in a broken box with all porcelain items in pieces. I paid an exorbitant amount for shipping. Owner submitted a claim but I am still waiting on UPS to pick up broken items. I am very disappointed with this store as the high cost of shipping was the most I have ever paid for similar items that were shipped from other stores to me. Owner said hes been following up with UPS to come pick up the broken items but after a week no one has arrived. After numerous calls to UPS they keep saying a driver has been here to collect the broken items but NO ONE has been here.Very frustrating and disappointing.
This is the best UPS store in the city. I dont care where I am... I come all the way back to get to this store. The owners and employees are courteous. They are friendly and very knowledgable about their products. Ive never had any issues at this store. Ive been to other UPS stores that told me that they were not allowed to tape my boxes so paying $1 to close boxes is fine.I just really love this store and send people here all the time for their shipping needs. Ive also never had an issue with parking that a drive around the block couldnt fix.And if you are driving there during the day then please be mindful that it is across the street from the health center which also requires on street parking.
Ive came to this ups store multiple times,for faxing,printing,copying etc. the owners who run it are unbelievably helpful. ive been to other office stores/copy centers before with junky equipment and staff that acts like they are bothered by questions and these folks are the complete opposite.great prices ,clean and very wellfunctioning store with great service and facilities . i have and will continue to use them for all my office /mailing needs and suggest everyone else does as well.located on corner of 3rd and girard easy access to anyone coming through.
When my neice told me about the new ups on 3 and Girard I was excited. I had to send my Samsung phn to be on 6/13 the customer service was excellent soon as we waled in greeted by the sweat lady.She did a helpful job helping m also the store was clean I love that ups.
Thank goodness for a place we can get packages in Northern Liberties!Joy and Dwright are the nicest! Very professional and always there to help.During the recent hurricanes in the Caribbean and Florida,I had to send a generator to my family in Puerto Rico. You can imagine how expensive its to ship a 200 pound item! Dwright not only gave me a discount for the hurricane relief, but he also made sure the whole process went smoothly and tracked the item until delivered.I now have a box at this site and send all packages here :) #retailtherapy
I didnt even get a chance to go in because the only UPS store that I have within walking distance to me decided that during operating hours needed to close the whole store because one person got married. Three others were here at the same time as me trying to get in and I saw two others get out of their cars with boxes. Thats six people in the course of only two minutes that couldnt get in when they are supposed to be open.

They even have a USPS drop off for thin packages and letters, which is incredibly useful, given there is no convenient post office for residents of Northern liberties. (Although I do wish I could drop slightly larger USPS packages here!) Thank you!

2022-01-31So, Ive been using this location for my sales items via said selling website. And let me say, some of the employees need to eat during the day, and take a nap, or both. That has to be the reason why said employees are grumpy. Customer service isnt difficult, and I get some customers can be difficult. Hopefully, any future visit will be a bit more professional.Besides that, its a very organized location. Some days are faster than others. Masks are required (although Ive been in the store where employees arent wearing one, so theres that. This is just for those wanting to know). All in all, you know, take it easy.

2021-12-21I was extremely impressed by the customer service here. An employee (name tag said owner) was so helpful. I needed packaging supplies and shipment. She was patient and understanding. Ive definitely never had service this good at a UPS store. Thanks!

2022-04-14Had excellent customer service from Miya! I asked for email of two documents, and could only find one of them in my email. I returned to the store a bit flustered. Miya very calmly helped me figure out that the document was in my spam. Such a nice experience! Thanks Miya

2022-04-18It is normal to pay per page for basic printing. However they will charge you a additional “computer use fee” for no reason. Only stopped by to print a few pages on a PDF and this arbitrary fee was more expensive than the print job itself!
