Tim Hortons in other cities:
Website for this location says it’s 24 hours the open 24 hour sign was on when we got there we get to the door at 10 of 10 and they’re closed so we go through the drive-through that says it’s open until 11 on their door and they won’t service because we walked here I understand the logic in that I don’t understand why they’re closing 10 minutes early or than the post of time this is what happens when you don’t have an owner there. FYI I am doing text to speech so that’s why there is no punctuation
Disappointed because of incorrect information on Google mapsIt is kind of unfair since I would partly blame myself for not calling them. I love Tim Hortons and went out of our way to find this branch, looked it up and it seemed that they are not open for dine in but open for take out. When we drove all the way, we found that the place was temporarily closed for business. That was a shock. Because of pandemic, I would advise people to call the place and not rely upon the information on the web.
I’ve heard so many good things about their coffee but I’m not a fan. I’ve tried several kinds several times to give them a fair shot and it just tastes horrible every time. Breakfast sandwiches are pretty good, it’s convenitenly located and the staff is usually friendly.
I go here frequently as it is convenient for work, but wish there were somewhere else as convenient. The coffee isnt great, but it does the job of waking me up. When I forget to bring lunch/breakfast and dont have time to stop elsewhere I will grab something here. It usually tastes decent, however almost every time I end up with something different from what I ordered - even when Im the only one in the shop. Shame on me for not opening my bag and checking every single time.
And there was a hockey game going on for the local minor league Lehigh Valley Phantoms team. The Tim Hortons looks like its separate from the arena, but unfortunately the doors are locked during games. I get it because the dining room has a direct entrance to the game, but it seems like this should be better advertised, and also seems like it could be done differently.
The food and service make it at least a 4, but the hours brings it down to a two at best. Why are you not open on weekends when customers who do not work at PPL or Lehigh Valley Health Network are actually able to get to your location?? I guess we are stuck with DD and Starbucks :(
That place needs to revamp their staff. The absolute rudest people I have ever met! One manager lady seemed nice, but almost every person working there, especially the cashiers are awful. One kid had gloves on, didnt make my sandwich and starts sweeping the floor after I see about 5 people who ordered after me get their food. Then I say as nice as possible hey, did you forget about me? He says oh...yeah and makes my sandwich without changing gloves! Ewwww! I threw it away.
Many places struggled when first opening in the newly-renovated downtown Allentown/PPL Center area. Tim Hortons was one of those places. Its a shame that they hold prime real-estate (sharing space in the lobby of the hockey arena).Unfortunately, while other places improved, Tim Hortons continues to struggle keeping up with simple orders and employing friendly staff. On most occasions, is seems that orders are wrong... a black coffee with cream, a sandwich without toppings, or toasted bagels that havent been warmed. Ill continue to check out this place every once in awhile and see how/if they improve.
I am in love with this place and there coffee!!! The coffee is so good!!! Traveling to NY for the first time this was our first time in a tin hortons and i couldnt leave with out taking home packages of coffee with me!!! I hope they exspand to lancaster pa one day soon!!!
Girl misrepresented the sizes for the ice cream. Someone must have changed the sizes of the ice cream containers and when the girl told us which was small, medium and large she did not look. We were confused but believed what the girl said. When we received the ice cream it was in the helmet. We did not want the helmet.........

2022-04-27Was in last night during the Phantoms game, asked the cashier for a medium iced sugar cinnamon oat milk latte- was given a hot original blend coffee with cream and sugar. friends who i was at the game with got the helmet ($8.99 with toppings) and they were still charged for the toppings. i’m not one to leave bad reviews, this was literally just the worst experience i’ve ever had in food. poor customer service, poor listening skills.

2022-01-21I am a fan of Tim Hortons I was very happy that I had one open before the Pandemic. I understood the closure during 2020 but now its 2022 there are signs for the dining room open, the hours are on the door Monday thru Friday which I understand. But I have tried to go twice now in the past two weeks and they have not been open. I am beyond disappointed. If you dont have the staff just close up shop, and put a dunkin in. Its pretty obvious that the employees dont want to be there and the management does not want to take responsibility and actually run this shop. Shame too since Tims had some decent coffee and donuts.

2022-01-29Update ordered on the app at 7:00AM Sat, come by and they were closed, so I best be getting my money back. That was a test, bc apparently yall allow online orders when you say you are open but not really. The sign on door says the hours of this place are 8am - 2pm, and it is very hit or miss on the weekends if they will be open during the morning or afternoon or even at all. They choose when they want to be open apparently depending on events at the PPL center. Then dont advertise you are open thenon Google or allow online orders! Very frustrating.

2018-03-30Delicious timbits, but the place is a bit small. Also the cashiers were not particularly helpful as they flooded my coffee with cream and then we rather stingy about giving me an extra cup. That said...the timbits are amazing and made up for it. I wish there was one in Philly instead of hiking all the way up to Allentown just to get some Timmys. It seems like an oversight on their part. Come down into the states into the roughly Southeastern part of PA and then go to Allentown??? Be in Philly.

2021-11-19This location is attached to PPL arena and is a great place to get a snack during the hockey game. The staff are friendly and you can use the app for rewards if you would like. The coffee and food are always fresh and tasty! Pro tip: there is a bathroom here so if youre in need of that, its easy to use without standing in line!

2022-02-06Im giving one star purely because of the time wasted here. My family just went there today (Sunday) and it was closed, even though on Google and on their own website it shows that they are open today.
