I am very blessed because the owner of this store saved my life I would of been Stranded on the side of the rode I got a nail in my tire when leaving Olivia garden and Trevor loynd helped us when the store was closed and checked my tire and took out the nail and checked my tire pressure and I’m very blessed that this guy was so amazing.
I always take freshly powder coated wheels to Dan at Monro. I have brought several sets of wheels to him and there hasnt been so much as a scratch on them when I get the wheels back from getting tires mounted. I bring my own personal wheels ( 3 piece and cast) and wheels that Ive powder coated for customers without ever having to worry about them being damaged.
We were traveling and our car started to shimmy and shake like crazy, we stopped in here out of desperation as we got off the highway, these folks made it a priority to help us get back on the road as soon as they could - which was mighty quick! Kudos to the staff for excellent customer service and for ensuring we didn’t wreck on or trip! THANK YOU!!!
Friendly,thorough, and professional. The head mechanic played the floor is lava with my daughter while we was waiting. Definitely returning as a loyal customer.
These guys are awesome. I broke a break light and had the replacement and they took care of everything in 5 minutes! Didn’t even charge me for it. Highly recommend
Had a nail in my tire causing the tire to leak air slowly. I showed up today and they were very accommodating. I did not have an appointment but they were able to work around their schedule to patch up my tire. Very friendly service and will be returning for any emergency car needs. You can easily tell this is a community oriented automobile shop that puts the customers best interests first.
Women are often warned to be wary of anything having to do with cars because someone is likely to take advantage of us. The education Trevor (manager) provided about the cause of the problem (5 yo car w/under 10,000 miles not driven enough to maintain battery) and preventive measures I can take (battery tender) was much appreciated and made me feel like he was more interested in helping me maintain my vehicle than in turning an easy buck off my ignorance. Thanks trevor!
This is a great place. My Tesla Model X had a flat. Tesla Inc, left me high and dry. Elon Musk Tesla Road side Assistance sucks!! Trevor from Tire Choice jumped in to help. He waited 1 hour beyond closing time to accommodate me. He repaired the flat and got me back on track is 1 hour. God Bless him. He is a wonderful professional and knows his job very well. I wish them well.

I had a problem with my exhaust system. While many places may tell me I needed to replace my muffler they worked for a simple and affordable solution. And worked me in to their schedule. They earned a new customer!
Sign hanging on the door says oil change $29.99 as far as I am concerned it is totally false advertising, they charge you for filter and labor install it on top of that. They also charge $2.90 to dispose of old oil and a $4.28 shop supply fee.Also they never reset my oil change reminder.
We were passing though Williamsport on a Saturday afternoon en route to Buffalo and our brake line broke. Thankfully, the tow truck driver brought our car to TireChoice. They worked to fit us into their busy schedule where Trever worked on removing the damaged brake line while another mechanic fashioned/flared a new line for our car. They finished the job Sunday morning (!) and we were on our way again. Friendly staff, great teamwork and expert mechanics - thank you all!
I needed an emergency tire replacement, and these guys came through! For me in that day, worked with my tire that didn’t want to come off, kept me informed, and were just really pleasant. I wish I lived in PA so I could make them my regular car care center!
My windshield wiper on the passenger side stopped working and it was storming. I made it home safely and called first thing in the morning to see if they could help me. I talked to Dan, and he said to bring it in. He took care of me so quickly and thank God it was just a loose bolt. He didnt charge me anything and even put air in my tires, which I needed badly. This is why I have been doing business with them for over 35 years. If you want to trust a Auto shop, I highly recommend Tire Choice on the Golden Strip in Williamsport PA.
I highly recommend Tirechoice auto service center. They were amazing. I traveled all the way from Philadelphia and had an emergency and Trevor helped me out right away so that I was able to get back to my trip with no delays or changes in my plans. Great customer service and a job well done!

Big thank you to John at Tire Choice for fixing my tire on Sunday. He came out and met me in the parking lot at 3:45pm, and they were closing in an hour and 15 minutes. He went above and beyond making sure my tire was safe for me to drive. All of the staff were courteous, kind and efficient. I will definitely be back!
Dropped my truck off for a scheduled appointment for an oil change and tire rotation at 2p.m. I walked in at 4 p.m. to see of the truck was done, the truck was in the air on the lift when I walked in. When I asked I was told till 6 I said excuse me and he told me they would call me when its done. Absolutely unacceptable service by any standards. Strongly recommend that you avoid this garage or any other Monroe owned garage. I have yet to have a good experience.

I was told during my car inspection that I would need rear brakes. I brought my car to The Tire Choice Auto Service. The mechanic and also other mechanics looked at my vehicle to confirm that I did not need brakes. That they were in great shape. Not only did they take their time, had other confirm it, but also save me a lot of money. Thanks guys. I appreciate it.
Needed a state inspection and I could only get it done on that day. They didnt have an opening, but said they would try to fit me in. To my surprise, the Assistant Manager John was able to get it done. Great Work! Great dedicated staff!
Was in the area for work and got my car washed across the street but the car wash unseated the valve stem on one of my tires. Took my truck to these guys and they got me in right away and fixed it so I could get back on the road. Awesome experience.
First of all, I would like to say that for the amount of time that I gave them, they responded FANTASTICALLY. Monro Muffler was straight-forward, honest, and very professional. They did what they said they were going to do and is not a place thats going to try selling you something you dont need.I needed my rear rotors and break pads changed. They took me right in and made a few accommodations for me. Very professional. This is one of those places you absolutely wish most other places were like; however, unfortunately are not.I would absolutely recommend them. Their prices are right where they should be, however they make no compromises with their service and the quality of their parts. Im from New Jersey, so we use our breaks more often than the we use the gas pedal, except on the highways where even the emergency shoulder is 55mph. My rears were more worn out than Faded Glory jeans.Bottom line, if you want the CORRECT service, you go to them. Youll be in better hands than All-State and theyre better neighbors than State Farm.
John and Dan were great! The price they quoted me over the phone was dead on. They got the part I needed in for my car when no where else had it. I was in out out in less than 45 mins. Excellent service! Quick and accurate! They didn’t try to get me to buy a bunch of other stuff either which is a plus to me especially being a female. Some places take advantage of when a customer doesn’t know a whole lot about cars, but these guys didn’t do that. They were great! Thank u Monro Muffler, John and Dan, u guys rock!
Great service! I recently moved to the area. A family friend was my auto mechanic for years, so I was a bit hesitant going to anyone else, let alone a chain. However, this was my second time coming to this location, and I would definitely recommend it if you want a hard-working staff who will treat you (and your vehicle) with honesty and respect. I came in on a Saturday morning, and I could tell that they were slammed, but they handled it so well. The assistant manager, John, had his hands full but made sure to update me (and every other customer) any time he could on the status of my vehicle, on top of all of his other duties. It’s clear that the staff here takes pride in their work!
Store is kept clean. A good vibe from great people that are interested in helping assure your vehicle keeps going.

I was passing through Williamsport and had a flat tire late at night. I went to Monro first thing the next morning in hopes of getting it replaced, and I needed to get on the road ASAP to make a family event 3 hours away. Jerry did an incredible job finding a replacement and getting me on my way. He personally drove to Mr. Tire down the street to get a tire in the correct size because he didnt have one in stock. I was able to make it in time and the weekend was saved. Very professional and excellent customer service! Thank you!
Had my alternator seize, breaking the serpentine belt on a Dodge 3500 handicapped accessible van..,on a Saturday afternoon to boot. Had the vehicle towed to Monroe and these guys were phenomenal. Not only did they take me right in, but they repaired the vehicle and got me back in the road in under two hours. And this was at the same time that all of their bays were full with other customers. The staff was more than courteous and helpful.
Josh and company this past Sunday were great. Great service, knowledgeable and always treat me right. Would highly recommend. I originally started taking my cars there because Jerry always treated me great. What an awesome team. The owner should be very proud!
Monroe has performed all the service on my car since I moved here 4 years ago. I completely trust that they do the work that is that is needed and not more than that. They are competitively price and complete the work in a timely manner. I drive a 1995 Toyota that they keep on the road for me!!! Highly recommended.
Worked me in to the schedule, Always does a great job at a very reasonable price and goes above by keeping track of how my vehicle is on the safety and most essential parts, so I dont have to. Gave me a print out that my battery is about shot meaning I need a new battery, so I wont be stranded. Saving me from a bad day in the future. Thats good service.
My heart-felt THANKS to Dan for coming to my assistance Monday morning, July 2, 2018. I was traveling to a local hospital to pick up my husband and was forced off the road attempting to merge onto Rt 180. The berm was littered with debris and within minutes as the thumping started, a trucker pulled alongside and motioned to the back tire—flat!! I was able to park close to the guardrail but still within feet of fast moving traffic. I was very unnerved! First, I alerted the hospital, then I called the only garage I trust my Pathfinder to—Monroe Muffler on 3rd St. I have always felt like they cared for my vehicle as they would their own, always informative, always professional, always caring and genuinely friendly. Dan answered my call and I poured out my disastrous situation. Towing is not a service they provide, BUT he could grab a jack and come to me in 10 minutes to change the spare. I was more than relieved!! True to his word, within a short time; I was back on the road to the hospital. Short this later, I had new tires. So—to the crew at Monroe; Jeri, Manager, Dan and all the servicemen, I am grateful that you cared for me, a customer, as you would your family. Again, THANK YOU 🙏
Came today to get an oil change. This is a great and professional business. Everyone here was very pleasant and kind. They were also very informative and helpful. The process was very quick and they also have a nice waiting area with a tv and chairs. I will definitely be coming back! Excellent service
I was in a bind last night with the snowfall when I managed to curb my tire and pull it off the rim enough to lose all air pressure. They were the only place open who could get me in quickly so I went straight there. Within an hour they had inspected my tire, remounted it, and put it back on my car for a very reasonable price. Thank you so much to everyone who was there last night and I plan to come back for service in the future.
Great staff. We were on our way to a Church Concert, our car broke down. Not only John get us in ASAP, we were dropped off and picked back up when the car was fixed. Truly a Blessing to travel over 1 hour, find a welcoming staff to take care of us. Praise the staff and praise God for Monroe

Technicians performed work on vehicle without permission. Billing me to get my car back without confirming what they did was fine with me.Technicians informed me wheels were out of balance but i just had my tires rotated and balanced two weeks prior.
Was traveling to Williamsport from Cleveland when my van started acting up. I let the guys know that I had to leave with the van back home in 2 days. The promptly took a look in the morning and I had my car back the very next day. Highly recommend this place for their speed, efficiency and customer service.
This place is a joke. They over charge and make up problems. My first experience here I brought my car in and they claimed it was going to cost 1,200 to get it inspected. Not satisfied with that answer I tried a local garage instead and it cost less than 500$. Trying to give them another chance I brought my fiancé’s truck in to get inspected. They again claimed it would cost over 800$ to pass inspection. I just took the truck to another garage and got it inspected for 250$! Now tell me how that is possible? This place should be ashamed of themselves.
I had questions this last visit and The gentleman at Monroe showed me on my car exactly the answers to my questions, and in the past they have always given me great advice, and have never over sold me on anything. One example: I needed new tires, I knew I needed new tires. They could have told me I needed four new tires but I only needed three. I needed an oil change, they could’ve told me that my filters needed changed but they said they were fine, possibly next time but not this time. I Will continue to take my vehicle to Monroe, because I know I will get the best service every time.
Careless and not thorough, 2 things you dont want in a mechanic. My husband and I have taken our vehicles here on and off for the past decade. I stopped 3 years ago when I picked up my SUV and it has slight body damage on the drivers side. They insisted someone mustve hit it in the parking lot, but that did not seem consistent with the damage at all. They did not care or even apologize. I gave them another chance because they are one of the few with long weekend hours. I need an inspection, oil change, and told them I thought I needed new brakes and rotors, because they were making noise. They called after 6-7 hours to pick up my car, and said the brakes were fine. The next weekend I went on a trip to NY and by the time I got there my car was making awful squealing and grinding sounds. Took it to another garage and my brakes were completely worn down. I needed to replace the brakes, rotors and front caliper was rusted out. Monroe never even looked at them, obviously.
Jerry at Monro was able to squeeze our car in for an inspection at the last minute. He was prompt at getting back to me with an update on what work needed to be done, explained why it needed to be done, and then let us know right away when the car was ready to be picked up. We took our vehicles to this Monro for a few years, moved away, came back and found the same great service!
The crew here is knowledgeable and do a great job of taking care of my needs all at a reasonable price! I highly recommend for all of your tire needs.
They have done a good job taking care of oil changes on my two cars repairing flat tires healing state inspections. They obviously provide more services but I think they have not needed those from them yet. One called theyre always good about telling me when they have time and they have been very prompt with the appointments that they do schedule.
Took my car to Monro today, service was excellent. They got me in and out, in a timely fashion manor. They got me tries at reasonable and affordable price. The assistant manager was very helpful and friendly, all round perfect service. Thank you.

Our 5th wheel RV blew a tire on the highway. While all the other tire shops were closing and wouldnt help us. Monroe got the tires in while we were on our way there. They worked us in, got the tires put on and we were on our way quickly with minimal downtime on our trip.
I had a tire for a snowblower I had off the rim that I could not get back on. Dropped it off and?2 hours later they called and said it was done. Went to pay and the just asked for a good review. I really appreciated it. Thx
John took great care of me. Repaired my exhaust at a fair price. Told him I needed my truck 1 way or another for the next day and he stayed on it and finished job in 1 day. Ill be back.
Yesterday, even though it was cold and windy they were able to fit me into their schedule. I needed breaks lines done on my vehicle. They took the time to explain to me where and what needed to be down, and gave me a break down of the cost.Highly recommended, they are awesome.
Right as my mom was leaving to drive back to Pittsburgh from Williamsport she got a flat tire that needed immediate attention. The mechanics at Monro auto service were able to get her in, take care of the tire and out on a Sunday when all other places were closed. Definitely recommend!

Jerry, Red, and the entire staff at Monroe Muffler and Brake in Williamsport saved the day for us! We broke down on route 15 and were towed to this excellent auto shop. The customer service is exceptional - prompt, clear, and friendly. They put our needs first and got us back on the road. All of this on Memorial Day. It is never good to have car trouble - but if you do, this is your place!
Fair and Honest!We were traveling on our way to upstate New York, when our Honda Pilot check engine light started blinking and the car began making a rumbling noise. Luckily these guys were open on Sunday and fully checked out our car - swapping out a possible bad spark plug and/or cylinder coil, but the diagnosis finally revealed a bad cylinder valve - which they could not fix and they recommended an engine repair shop. Total cost for all this was $0 - they refused any payment!!!We highly recommend to get your car serviced here!
Terrible business. If youre looking for an reliable mechanic this is not the place to go. I took my car in the get a gasket changed and was very dissatisfied with the customer service (not to mention, its my 3rd time taking the car there in a month). Usually, when your car is done the manager or an employee notifies the customer when the service is completed, right? Think again because apparently the customer is supposed to know when it is done. To add to the dissatisfaction, they left all my windows down and no one was to be found inside the business. I had to wait for 45 minutes and lucky for us, one employee showed up and was able to give us the key. While I was waiting, another gentleman showed up to pick up his truck and the first thing he said to me was You dont want to be doing business with these people. All in all, many other people as well as myself strongly recommend staying away from this shop.
Fantastic service!! I am so grateful. I was at a local hotel and had to leave the next day. They pulled my car in that day and had it back to me in a few hours. They didnt think it would be done in a few days but they got it in and fixed the same day. Definitely recommend this place.
I took my car there to drop off at 6:00am for grinding brakes on 9/22/18 after making an appt. I finally called around 4:00pm after not hearing anything. I was told the caliper was rusted on the front passenger side which caused the pad to move and something ground into the rotor. I was quoted $450.00 because the drivers side caliper was also rusted and it was a matter of time before it went bad. I was shocked at the cost so John told me the drivers side was optional but that would take the cost down to $355.00. I reluctantly agreed as it seemed like a large amount. He called about 2 hours later and said the car was finished. I picked it up on Sunday afternoon, 9/23/18. When I showed the $20.00 online coupon I had he claimed that he already applied a coupon because we like to help our customers any way we can. I still went along with everything as I dont know much about vehicles and I trusted them. I handed him $350.00 and went into my purse to get the other $5.00 and some change. He said Oh is this $350? I will take that and give you another $5.00 discount. I agreed and thanked him believing he was helping me. I left and started thinking that it was strange how he was able to adjust my pricing to whatever amount he wanted. Isnt there a standard amount of product cost and a standard rate of labor? I pushed that out of my mind and was glad to see the brakes worked. On Monday 9/24/18 while getting on the highway I noticed at 60 MPH my front end was shaking and vibrating my seat as well as my visors. I thought maybe it was my tire pressure so I went and added air to all 4 tires. The shaking continued but only once I reach 60 MPH. This shaking was NOT there before taking my car to Monro. I called him on Tuesday 9/25/18 and told him what was happening. He doesnt really listen and is constantly rushing me off the phone. He told me to bring it in the next morning. I showed up around 10:00 am and he said Im busy now, I told you to bring it in earlier, you will have to leave it here. I said that as I stated on the phone I was going out of town to pick up my husband and did not have hours to leave my car there. He basically shrugged and I got an oh well feeling from him. I left and will NEVER go back. He didnt want to help me, he made me feel like I was bothering him. He made me feel like I was making something up and he just didnt care that I just paid them $350.00 for 1 brake and rotor! I also looked online and see calipers ranging from $20.00-$50.00 when I was charged $100.00. They are crooks, they are not out to help anyone. They will take advantage of people who dont know any better. I am VERY dissatisfied and will never recommend them. I shouldnt have to take my car to another garage AND pay for something Monro did wrong. Im not sure if they messed up my alignment or what it could be but I would be afraid to even take it back for fear they will break something else. Terrible customer service.
The first time I went to Monro, the staff really listened to my concerns and, were able to find a potentially costly issue with my brakes that 3 other places overlooked repeatedly telling me nothing was wrong. I have continued to trust the staff at Monro with my vehicle since that day and, the service has been just as great every time!
The manager and tech staff are terrific. They keep my car is in great shape, and advise me if anyone sees a trouble spot brewing. We count on Jerry and the gang for our automotive needs.

Me and the family were on our way from Columbia MD to Niagara via a few places including Williamsport. When we got into the car to drive out of Williamsport we heard a grating sound. Worried that this might be the end of our road trip, we tried to find a garage that was open on a Sunday.Not only were Munros open they were super helpful and diagnosed and fixed the (thankfully minor problem) within 30 mins, didnt charge us a dime and sent us on our way.I cant recommend these guys enough, they were awesome!
Went there today, for a simple belt fix. Cost me $117. Got home, just for it to break right off again, and not to mention made my antifreeze leak. Which wasnt happening before I brought it in. Also a wire cover wasnt put back into place, near where the Work was done. Very poorly done. Definitely lost a customer. Thanks.

The overall service was good their online service needs to be updated to actually show what appointments they actually have available cause when you show up an hour early to drop off your car for the appointment that you scheduled and get told it got rescheduled is a bit annoying cause there was no email or phone call to explain the situation until I showed up if it wasnt for the online issue the rating would be higher hopefully theyll fix the bugs or update the system to actually show actual available appointments or at least call the number listed to give them some kind of heads up about changes to the appointment scheduled

Requested an appointment online, show up and the guy says he “emailed me that he rescheduled the appointment.” I didn’t even leave an email but I checked anyway and there’s no email from them, not even in my spam box. I left a phone number, a phone call like a normal business would’ve been nice.

I have been coming here for years and have had nothing but great experiences here. Jerry, the manager, is honest and fair. They work for return business, not to gouge. If you don’t know where to go or are just looking for a second opinion, definitely stop here.
The front desk guy is rude and the took my car to fix it charged me 200 and the problem is still there. Then when I called about it they wanted to charge me again. I liked Monroe better

Here is my honest review, I called to get a cooling system flush. Got appointment and was told would be 60 dollars, Ok plus I have a 20 dollar off coupon so 40 bucks. Went there and the flush machine is broke so used a hose, well i could have done that myself. Flushed with hose and put coolant in it. Coolant was green and came from back room in an old tupperware pitcher, then water was added to pitcher. Well refilled with pitchers of water/coolant and garden hose, sent me on my way. Did not even test coolant to see freeze point! Went in to pay and with 20 dollar coupon stilll cost 87 dollars? I would not go back again, and you want to save yourself time and money dont go there!
Nothing is good about this place, nothing. The service is horrible, they inspected my car and said everything was good, charged me for the stickers and then when I went to pick it up, they said there were problems with the car that needed to be fixed even though they charged me for the sticker. What made me more mad was just the other day, the work that they did on it needed to be done all over again for the new inspection.
Relatively fast service for an inspection. A little disappointed that not everyone was wearing a mask, but the gentleman handling the desk did wear one.

Well had oil change on one of my vechicles found out 2 weeks later the drain plug was loose I was able to move it by hand they didnt check any levels just things that they can sell you on

I live 40 miles from Williamsport. My brakes started making noise and at 4pm they got me right in and had my car done THAT SAME NIGHT!! I will be taking my car there for all of my brake work.

2022-03-26I went here for an oil leak but I didn’t know where it was coming from. My car was covered in oil! Trevor was extremely helpful and took the time to explain to me what he suspected and even lifted the car and cleaned the oil from my engine bay so he could see what was going on. Extremely friendly and decent human being!! Treated me fairly!! While waiting in the lobby all the interactions with other customers were very respectful and sincere. If you don’t know what’s wrong with your car take it here! Highly satisfied with the service I received!!

2022-02-10Trever was so great! I took my company car in for a few things to be done. I waited for the services. They were short staffed that day but trever was always kind to everyone that called and walked in. He smiled and was upbeat the whole time. In that situation it would have been easy for him to be in a bad mood but he was very pleasant. They finished my car faster than i had expected. I look forward to the next time i go.

2022-04-30These guys are amazing I go in for a back left flat tire in a company truck. Not only did they fix and fill the tire but they also filled all the other tires and made sure all tires were good. If I ever have a tire problem again in Williamsport I will go back to these guys thanks again. And they were pretty fast and well

2022-06-19This was my first time ever at tire choice. I blew a tire on the highway while traveling alone with my two young children. After having a friend put the spare on for me, we had concerns about that also being flat. When I got to the shop, I was exhausted, stressed, and had two hungry tired toddlers. Trevor met me in the lobby with the most positive attitude, and immediately asked what he could do to help. I was nervous about being any place like this without my husband, since I’m not vehicle savvy at all and always worry about someone taking advantage of the situation to make an extra buck. Truth be told though, I was desperate with two kids and a husband who was working out of town. Trevor didn’t try to upsell me for even a second. He said he was going to see if he could repair my original tire to save me from having to buy a new one entirely. He fixed it, checked my spare, put everything back in my vehicle as it was, assured it was safe, reset all of the sensors, and was so kind, calm, and patient with my children. The one employee even gave my little boy a matchbox truck which he is still talking about 24 hours later. I cannot thank these guys enough for showing kindness in a very stressful and uncertain situation. I told my husband about the entire encounter, and we both agreed they’ve got customers for life in us. Thank you all so much!

2022-02-24We got a oil change. The appointment was made two days prior. When we got there they didnt know what oil my car took and didnt have the filter it needed. They had to order the filter. Then the guy doing my car thought I had a dead battery, because he didnt put the key in the ignition. He was going to put a jump pack on my bran new battery. Over all I was not happy with my experience.

2022-05-21Amazing! We live 45 minutes away and got a flat tire leaving Olive Garden, a screw punctured our tire. We pulled in to Tirechoice after it being an hour and a half closed and the store manager Trever Loynd came out and checked our car and found the screw. Even being closed, not having to even check our car he came out in the 90 degree weather and took out the screw and patched the Tire. Went above and beyond, checked every tires air pressure. Extremely blessed that this man was here and was as kind as he was. It is very rare to find good people like this hard devoted worker. Five stars just isn’t enough.

2022-04-10Never allow them to do an inspection as they dont know what state rules are pertaining to tire wear. Only interested in talking you into new tires but I as a man know better. Imagine how they take advantage of woman or guys that dont know the rules

2021-04-19Got an oil change a week ago, went fine but as i was leaving today i noticed something yellow poking out next to my headlight. I popped the hood and my dip stick was just laying there where you see where the oil was sitting right where the hood latches. Whoever changed my oil left the dip stick out and just closed the hood over it. Oil was slightly low because of the oil that came up out of where the dip stick would be and some oil across my engine bay. Will not be returning.
