I work from home and sometimes like to change up the scenery. This is the perfect place. There are enough people around that it’s safe but it’s very private at the same time. The rooms have everything you need and anything else is available from the front desk. The front desk staff is always friendly and accommodating
Rude and unprofessional front desk staff. The blonde lady who works the night shift kicks paying guests out of the lobby for using the computer and refuses to give them a key to their room. They also refused to give housekeeping service when we booked the room for 8 days. The staff treats paying guests like they’re going to steal if they want to borrow a vacuum after not having housekeeping service for several days. The room was also musty and dingy, smelled like smoke and had yellow stains on the ceiling. It only gets a star for the location, the outside seating area with the nice fireplace and the maintenance/housekeeping people were the only friendly people at the hotel.
The room was great. Clean, modern, nice little kitchen. But the included breakfast was advertised to run from 8 until 10 am. When we arrived at 9:40, the worker in charge of the food was packing up and seemed annoyed that people were still trying to get breakfast. Very frustrating.
We drive back & forth to Chicago from the East coast every few weeks. Have tried a number of hotels to stay over & break up the trip. this one has it all. room was clean, quiet, & well-apportioned; staff was friendly. They went over & above to help. and a major plus is the many great restaurants very close by. This will be our spot from now on!
We stayed at this location after staying at the same property in Columbus OH. We were disappointed by how dated this property was in comparison. Also, Columbus charged us a $50 pet fee and this one a $100 pet fee (for an 11lb dog). Why not be consistent? There is no breakfast-they hand you a paper bag with poor quality food (muffin, yogurt, fruit). Coffee was terrible. Beds and bedding are very nice. Showers are nice. Almost no contact with front desk was needed.
I am very picky with my hotel stays--quiet and cleanliness are of paramount importance. Quiet both inside and from outside the room is exceedingly important. So when i soon discovered the generators from the roof were vibrating into my room i asked Deanna to show me a few rooms. I picked another and had a great quiet stay, slept like a log. HIGHLY recommend this hotel. Oh, and the higher end restaurant 1/4 mile away, Firebirds , was recommended. I had a delicious meal and would go there once a month if i lived in the area!!!
Very clean and modern. Loved the full kitchen including big fridge and dishwasher. Even an ice maker in the freezer and dishwasher! The staff was friendly and helpful and accommodated my requests sent ahead of time (feather free room near the stairs). I was very impressed and would definitely stay here again.
We are very disappointed with our stay at the Townplace Suites in Cranberry Township. We have stayed there two other years and had a wonderful experience but our last vacation (about a week ago) was downright bad. When we arrived we were given an accessible room because I suffer from a neurological disorder that makes some normal everyday tasks more complicated. The room was nice at first glance (we had actually stayed in this room a prior year)Within a couple of hours, my 6-year-old daughter was complaining about spiders. Within a day and a half, we had killed about 12 spiders. One of the spiders hid behind the couch, so we moved it. To our Horror, there was a 4 to 5-foot section of sheetrock covered in black mold. We immediately went to the front desk and complained, and they could nothing for us until the manager came in the next day. We were a family of 4 with an asthmatic son as well as myself. I went up again and let them know that this was not a small issue and that maybe they should call the manager. Nothing was done. The following morning we go to the desk (yes we were forced to stay in the room), and we are told that they can breach the walls or we could wait till 1 pm for a new room. Bleach does not remedy black mold, it will clean the wall but the spores remain within the sheetrock. The assistant manager came into our room and when we showed her the area she was taken back. She mentioned something about the mulch outside being the cause. I understand she was trying her best here. She was patient and really tried to keep the situation under control. At the same time, my wife contacted the Marriott directly. They mentioned that they would with the hotel to remedy the situation. They also promised to keep us informed along the process. We never heard anything from the Marriott customer service department.Eventually, a new room was ready. This room was on the third floor. The room had an odor of smoke, but at this point, we had no other choice. We also discovered the toilet seat was broken and the bedroom TV rarely worked. We mentioned this to the desk and were told that someone could come by the following day, this never happened. This hotel provides a nice BBQ area and grill that we had used in the past. We purchased some meat and me and my son went outside to cook it. Neither grill worked. We brought it to the attention of the front desk. The representative came outside and did what she could but it was to no avail. Disappointed we went back to the room. No one ever contacted us to let us know it had been fixed. To top our stay off, My son went to the quick mart found at the hotel lobby. He purchased chocolate milk and proceeded to drink it. The next day while cleaning, my wife realized it had been expired for 4 days. I checked the fridge and sure enough, there were 2 more. I brought it to the attention of the assistant manager, and she was polite but really did not address it.As Marriott Bonvoy members for quite a while, this was very disappointing. The hotel comped us two nights, but that doesnt make up for all of the issues. What we did spend was not worth it. I hope to see this hotel get back to its prior glory.
Its my motto, the little things in life are important. After a long day at work, then a long drive to the area I am glad I chose this hotel. Friendly front desk staff, but what really made my day was the next morning Brian was mopping the hotel floor near the elevator, he saw I was coming and stopped what he was doing and held the empty elevator for me as it began to close...such a small gesture in his mind, but it made me smile and I am very grateful! :) Hotel is very nice, near the shops and eateries and Mario Lemieux sports center...would definitely recommend this place to stay.
Beautiful, clean, inexpensive. Inconvenient restaurants, especially fast food, with complicated roads and Chipotle randomly closed. Love the open window with fresh air in the room, and the open-concept bathroom. The refrigerator hum and smoke detector blink are slightly annoying.
I like Townplace Suites when I travel so I can spread out and feel at home, cook a little, get some work done, etc. I was very pleased with this location and the retail around it. I heard barely a peep from the hallway or outside my entire stay. The breakfast was a bit lacking, but Im kind of used to it with the pandemic modifications.
This was my first stay and Ill definitely be back. The facility is modern and clean and the staff friendly and professional. My room was clean and the bedding very comfortable. I enjoyed the huge shower and the kitchen amenities. The pool was at the perfect temperature. So many places Ive stayed recently had the water too cold. This is a well-run and maintained establishment that will receive my return business.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The woman at check-in was also very helpful but I dont recall her name. Sam, was so pleasant, he gave us advice on where to eat within walking distance of the hotel, and was very patient in responding to our multiple questions. When you are from out-of-town, it was so nice that he listened and tried to help. The woman in the Breakfast area was great, she replenished food promptly when we asked her to, as the hotel was very busy.I also liked that there was coffee/tea and hot water available through the day - and wonderful that the hot water for tea was really hot - top marks to you!The room - nice layout, spacious, clean, the kitchenette was amazing and well-equipped. large fridge, paper-towels, dish soap etc... everything was there. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Also there was sufficient space in drawers and closet to unpack our things for our 3 day stay.My only concern was I dont think the rooms were cleaned properly - the bathroom sink and shower still looked dirty - and a couple of mugs in the sink were put in the dishwasher - who puts the dishwasher on for two mugs?Nevertheless, this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, and great value!
Fine hotel - newish in feel and well- maintained, although our room carpet is worn so it may be older than new. Well situated with nice landscaping surrounding the building and nearby.Rooms are smaller than usual and only one room as opposed to the separate bedroom and living area that we have had at other locations. It is nice but quite compact. Very nice closet for longer stays.Small bathroom with no bath (not a plus as I view it), and situated a foot from the bed, uncomfortably close for both the person in the bed and the person in the bathroom.Beautiful, big television and well-equipped kitchen, as usual! Nice breakfast and friendly, helpful staff, but I feel it is too early a wrap up - 6:30 to 9 am (just too early to be finished). Because the toaster was busy, I waited to toast my bagel. Toasted it around 9:15 am and because I didnt notice it immediately, staff threw it out even though I was sitting nearby waiting. They were very helpful in replacing it, but time was wasted and it made me feel uncomfortable. There could be solutions that would prevent this, however, of the two ladies staffing the breakfast, one of them went out of her way to be ultra helpful and I have to think that she didnt throw it out.Anyway, liked the hotel all in all and loved the colour choices and local decor!
Welcoming and well appointed lobby and rooms. The masks worn by the employees were inconsistent (it goes over your nose). There was also a discrepancy about when the Pool was open. My family was told one thing and a different family was able to access the Pool when we were told it was closed. Frustrating part of an otherwise nice hotel stray.
The hotel is in a great location for easy access. The room was very nice and the house keeping was great!! This hotel is in great shape and would recommend it to anyone. The only thing to be cautious about is I had a couple next door that played their music so loud at 3am that I thought the speaker was in my room. I called the front desk and they insured it would not happen again. Well a few nights later they were back at it. I feel like the staff for not really care much about it. I feel like they cared more about making money than pleasing guests. I am a top tier member there and spend half of each month in a Marriott hotel due to work.
From the phone call to reserve our suite to the morning we departed for the airport, we had a wonderful experience with the staff, our suite and the location in Cranberry, PA. Our trip went smoothly and was very enjoyable because we had a wonderful place to call “home” for 6 days.
This hotel is convenient to both the PA turnpike and route 79. The building is new with modern decor and clean lines. The hotel is well maintained and very clean. The staff was courteous and the check-in and check-out process was very efficient. The kitchens in the room was well equip even though we barely used it, I can see how it would be nice for an extended stay to have the ability to make some meals in-house. The bathroom was extremely modern and very clean and the water pressure and temperature were both up to expectations. The convenience of having restaurants and shops close by made this a great choice for our stay. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is considering staying there.
Great place to stay! Super nice people, very nice and clean place, has a pool and exercise room, comfortable inside and outside common areas and dining room. They have a delicious continental breakfast and offer complimentary wifi and computer services. Also, they have 24 hour coffee and have a small store in the lobby with snacks and other items that are accessible to guests for whatever they may need or have forgotten to bring for purchase. The employees are very kind and helpful.
This property is well worth visiting and offers great value for the money. The staff are professional, welcoming, and a credit to the company. The facilities are exceptionally clean and comfortable. Everything you need such as a super comfortable bed, a full-size fridge, a microwave, and a large flat-panel television on the wall is included. It is also close to shopping, restaurants, and major highways. I have stayed at all Marriott properties within the vicinity and this one tops them all. It has become my go-to place to stay whenever I am in the area.Thank you TownePlace Suites Cranberry! I really appreciate all you do to keep me coming back again and again.
We stay here often. Bonnie, Deanna and John are the best. They have gone above and beyond each stay. Bonnie and Deanna remember my granddaughters names and always help with whatever we need. Anything from pennies for the fountain, magazines for a school project, extra yogurts and blankets for the room and providing extra keys for each girl. John has been very helpful with computer issues when doing remote school work and found us “classroom” space to do lessons. Pittsburgh hospitality at its best !
Incredible location. Spacious suites. Feel like youre at home. Alot of bonus items in kitchen, bathroom shower easy to walk in. King size bed very comfortable and soft. Pool is great plus after a long day in the holiday hustle and bustle. Staff welcomes you with holiday cheer. Definitely will recommend to friends and family.
We recently stayed at the TownePlace Suites hotel and really enjoyed it. The two queen room had a kitchen, eating area, sitting area and plenty of room to walk around. We especially loved the closet with the pull out drawers. What a nice surprise. My handicap father enjoyed the bathroom shower because he didnt have to step into a bathtub to get into it. The hotel room met all our expectations and more. It definitely had all the amenities for a long, extended stay and the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. The surrounding area has plenty of shops and restaurants to suit any persons tastes. We are truly looking forward to our return visit to this hotel.
We were greeted at check in by a very friendly staff - which was kind of amazing at 2:30am. The facility was super clean and bright. The room was clean - and honestly, beautiful. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and were again assisted by super helpful and friendly staff. We wished we could have stayed longer - we did not encounter a single thing during our stay that was major and any small thing we needed or asked for was provided or assistance given with a smile.
Our team the BLADES Hockey had a great time participating in the USA Disabled Hockey Special Classic and this was the perfect location. Staff was very friendly and very efficient, from check-in to check-out and all stages in between. Our families raved about the quality of the facility, comfort of the beds, and who has a dishwasher in a standard room? Our players enjoyed the pool and rec facility, parents and volunteers enjoyed the fireplace and partying area off the lobby, it was a late night but it was an awesome time to chill out after a busy day and just relax. Proximity to restaurants and shopping gave everyone an opportunity to eat what they wanted, shop in their favourites, all within a one mile radius! Convenient to the 79 highway, easy to locate and the newness of the facility were bonuses!! Our team would stay again at this location or any other Town Place Suites!! Well done, now lets see if you can keep up the gold standard!!
Great hotel for families. Rooms well setup and lots of outlets for plugging in chargers. Having a fridge was of great use to us as our family was there with our hockey team so having an option of bringing in drinks saved us some money. The breakfast was ok, but some additional hot offerings would make it very good. Some extension of the breakfast hours would also add value, that would be only item keeping this from a 5 star. The staff were great in working with our hockey team.
On a day trip to Pittsburgh, my wife and I decided to stay at this newly built hotel. I am glad we did! The hotel was clean and comfortable. The bed was excellent compared to the competition. Bathroom very clean, overall you can tell that the hotel is very well maintained. Staff were courteous and knowledgeable, always willing to help. The breakfast was plentiful and the staff kept things in hand. I opted to pay the extra fee for the suite and in my opinion it was well worth the fee.
Friendly staff, nicely decorated new hotel. Bed was comfortable...just a tad firm. Breakfast was mediocre...but, I usually dont expect much from complimentary breakfasts. Really liked the kitchenette. Room could have been a little cleaner...such as crumbs on the dining chairs. Would definitely stay here again.
This place makes a night away from home a pleasure! Beautiful new facility with wonderful staff. Cleaning ladies were very friendly and had smiles and a cheerful greeting for anyone passing them in the hallway. This was my first stay at a TownPlace Suites and will gladly stay at another based on my experience at this location alone. Complimentary breakfast was above average for the usual “free breakfast” fare. Location is very close to shopping like Costco, Field and Stream and many others. Lots of restaurants and gas stations very close to hotel. About a 15 minute drive to the Ross Park Mall.
I stayed for 4 nights while in town for a hockey camp in Warrendale. Upon checking in to the room I did notice that even though the bed was made and bathroom was clean, the floors did not appear that they had been swept or vacuumed since the last guest, since there was a tic tac on the floor next to the couch. There was also dirt on the bathroom floor, kitchen floor and carpet, enough that I noticed but I was too tired to go down and complain or ask to be switched. I just assumed that since our room would be cleaned in the next 12 hours, I could deal with it until morning. The tic tac on the floor never did move the entire length of our stay, which leads me to believe that the vacuuming was never done properly. The kitchen counter area was dirty and sticky, that I did wipe it down myself with just soap and water and was able to clean it properly. We did swim everyday and on 2 occasions there was not towels in the pool area, which was quickly rectified, but the idea that it definitely wasnt on the radar of the front desk staff to check that was annoying. The bathroom in the pool area was actually pretty dirty the one day that I used it, paper all over the floor and the bathroom tissue just sitting on the handicap railing. The free breakfast was typical and had a decent selection everyday. The staff was helpful when we needed assistance. They did give us complimentary detergent, as I needed to do hockey laundry daily. As long as they can figure out the cleaning aspect, I would stay here again.
We stayed for a Thanksgiving hockey tournament and found the staff to be helpful and the facilities to be comfortable. If you are traveling with more than 2 people you might want to consider a room that has something more than a pullout couch bed for the extra people. We didn’t need it and with hockey gear laid out to dry there would have been no space at all. Also, a tip: the shower is great but the drip sound afterwards not so much. Just dry the shower head and you will be able to sleep.
Great location and amenities! Love this new facility in a newly developed complex where dining and shopping are so near. Also the ice hockey arena is a different type of venue to visit adjacent to the parking lot of hotel. The area is still in progress too but theres plenty to do and see already. We loved how the hotel sits up on a hill and is beautifully adorned with large quarry stones in the facade and lobby matching the surrounding stonework of retaining walls and fountain down the roadway and hillside. Very unique!
Wow! We were a late arrival and still we were met with a cheerful hello! It took just a couple of short minutes to check in, even with our dog! Our room was beyond comfortable and everyone in our party just kept saying wow! No...this was not my first experience in a nice hotel. We always stay in the best that fits our needs but this property...decor...cleanliness...pool...gym...laundry facilities...kitchen..and on and on. If your looking for a top notch suite with every eminity and a fantastic staff that welcomes your fur baby too...look no further! Thank you everyone..the Lynch family and Zorro too!
Interior and exterior of the facility was very clean and well maintained by the staff. Rooms were a bit small, but the bathrooms were great. Breakfast was well done and the eating area was designed to be efficient. Overall.......one of the best extended stay Marriott properties we have been in.
This new hotel is clean and had a great breakfast. While the bed was comfortable, it was difficult to sleep due to the bright blue light from the microwave clock in direct view from the bed. Even worse is the very bright green light on the smoke detector which flashed every 5 seconds, bathing the entire room in bright light. The hotel manager was polite about it and explained that the light on the smoke detector was required by city code. I will choose not to stay in this city in the future, or will pack black electrical tape to cover the offending light sources.
Hi My recent long term stay at The Town Place suites in Cranberry Pa was outstanding. I have stayed at JW Marriott before and Town Place is also a 5 star experience. The staff made me feel like family. the service was world class and the same I have experienced in other Marriott hotels. Finally, for the price - a real deal. This Hotel gets a 5 star rating from me.
Myself and family were in Pittsburgh for a family wedding and chose to stay at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Cranberry which was an excellent choice. Our stay was perfect from check in through checking out. The staff was warm, friendly and very helpful. The cleanliness and décor of the hotel was impressive especially all the Pittsburgh pictures hanging throughout hallways and rooms. The suites are spacious, comfortable, and has everything you may need. Hotel offers free breakfast but there are several excellent restaurants near by to choose for dinner and shopping near by. Hotel is quiet and relaxing. As there were a number of family members staying the outside patio and fire pit was perfect to gather around together. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
Fabulous experience!!! Excellent staff-beautiful property-clean, comfortable, convenient. Saved our trip by making last minute accommodations after we checked out of a horrible hotel nearby. Highly recommended. From now on, our only choice when we travel to that area.
I loved this place! The beds were super comfortable and the staff was really fun helpful and genuinely nice. Great amenities, close to every kind of restaurant and a 30 minute drive to Pittsburgh. Im not sure if the bed was great because it was new, or because it was just great but I will seek TownPlace Suites out from here on out. Great price as well!
The room was lovely; clean, new, modern, and nicely laid out and decorated. The bed was very comfortable with the ability to control your own climate. Both the check-in and check-out front desk staff were professional, welcoming, and customer-service oriented. They anticipated any questions, in advance, and were pro-active in mentioning items without me having to ask.
I love staying here but I noticed the last two times I was there, the upkeep of the rooms was lacking a bit. The shower wasnt draining properly and it was not as clean as the first couple visits I had. Even though there were these issues, I would definitely still stay there again--very comfortable and the kitchen is nice to havem
Looks good, the soft drink selection at the front was too limited (a normal pop machine is even better). Also the fan in the bathroom was very loud and couldnt be left off if you wanted to use the vanity light (theyre on the same switch). Otherwise, nice amenities, breakfast, grill, and room features!
Our experience at TownePlace Suites was most satisfying. We stayed one night to break up a trip. We arrived mid-evening, so we were only there for about 12 hours. The suite was larger than we expected and was clean and welcoming. The staff was all efficient and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast before we went on our way.
We attended a hockey event at the Pittsburgh Penguins training facility in Cranberry township. The Townplace Suites is located across the parking lot from the facility and a short walk or drive away from both anchor stores ( Dicks Sporting Goods, Target, Kohls etc.) and strip malls with other stores and dining establishments. The hotel has a clean, modern design and the suites are phenomenal- a full kitchen with cutlery, pots, pans etc., dishwasher and full refrigerator and microwave. An ideal setting for someone who prefers to not dine out when traveling or has a family and wants to travel on a budget. We traveled with visually impaired and blind individuals and I observed first hand the kindness of the staff in assisting adults with visual impairments navigate the hotel and the breakfast. Guide dogs were treated with respect. All in all could not say enough about this establishment, other than that I hope we have cause to travel here again in the future!
WOW! The staff is so awesome at this hotel!! I hadnt heard about this brand of Marriott hotels until I booked my stay and checked in. First of all, as a traveling salesperson, its nice to be in a hotel room that I could actually make a simple stove top meal and eat on a real plate vs fast food out of a plastic container. Everything in the room was very clean and and it was a pleasant stay. HUGE SHOUT OUT TO KURT!! He stood in the cold and jump started my car for me!! Steve, (I think that is his name) who checked me in, was very sweet to me even though I had a case of the grumpies; and he found my lost belonging and made it easy for me to pick up the next day. There was another gentleman who helped me when I checked out, friendly and remembered me when I came back for my lost belonging and asked me if everything was okay. I had a really rough week and the staff at this hotel were so patient, friendly and awesome. I cant wait for work to bring me back to that area because Im definitely staying here again!!!
Service was prompt and polite; rooms were clean and comfy. Showers were walk in and dont have a door which took a little getting used to and no tubs so cleaning/bathing the toddler and infant was a bit more challenging. They had a pack n play for our little guy and even had baby shampoo and lotion in the room for us.
Pleasantly surprised to arrive to find a room with amazing amenities at my disposal. A full size refrigerator, cook top, microwave, and a dishwasher in room. Along with cooking utensils and silverware. The lobby was amazing and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful.Unfortunately I had to be up and out very early so I didn’t have a chance to enjoy breakfast but next time I will make the time.
We have a wedding to attend in Pennsylvania, this was our hotel that we chosed on the way. We loved it so much that we rebooked the same place on our way back. The floor plan is extremely spacious considering it is a standard room with 2 queens for our big family. The furniture was very modern. The bathroom shower is very big. It has a full kitchen with a big refrigerator that makes ice!Standard free breakfast in the morning. It is located across from the Pittsburgh Penguins facility.I will say it without hesitation. This is nicest/cleanest hotel I have ever been in for the standard price under $125/night.Love this place.
We were surprised by the amenities available in the room - microwave, small electric range, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher and full range of kitchen utensils. All of the staff we came in contact with were very pleasant and helpful. We left wishing we could stay longer, but knowing that if we were ever to come back to the area, that’s where we would stay.
The room was average sized, mostly clean except for a few hairs, and free of bugs! The shower was a bit odd as the one half was completely open so you were cold as soon as you stepped out of the water. The bed was super comfy but a bit small for a king. I was happily surprised that the room came with a fridge, microwave, sink, and dishwasher. Also, the tv allowed for you to sign in to Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube, which was nice.
This is a very nice hotel and was very clean. The room had its own kitchenette and we were able to borrow altitude of things from the front desk if we needed. There was complimentary breakfast, it was okay, but it was free. I would recommend staying here it youre in North Pittsburgh.
Great friendly service from being to end. I brought my dog who was very welcomed, was provided poop bags to clean up after the dog and receptical to dispose of said pooh 🐕. Nice pool and workout room. Nice variety of breakfast items. I will be returning to this hotel.
We recently came across TownePlace Suites going to a tournament. We love the Marriott chain and stay with Marriott as often as possible. It was our first time at TownePlace Suites. We loved having a kitchenette, loved the built in closet with laundry basket, and loved the free Wi-F. Our room, hallways and entire facility was spotless. The staff was welcoming and kind. We will absolutely look for TownePlace Suites when we travel this summer.
If you are looking for a hotel, not far from Pittsburgh, that allows dogs, this is the place!!! We had a queen suite, corner room! Totally quiet (and the hotel was almost to capacity because of an NCAA figure skating competition at the LeMieux Center). It eas quiet. Rooms well appointed. Convenient to shopping and dining and the interstate.Everyone we encountered loved our dogs!We would return in a heartbeat.
The Towneplace Suites in Cranberry Township is great place to stay when visiting the area. The rooms are spacious and they are always neat and clean. It is very conveinent to have the small appliances in your room. Our daughter lives in Cranberry Township and when we come to visit we always try to book the Townplace Suites. We have stayed there multiple times and have had no issues. I would highly recommend this Hotel. Thank you to the staff at The Townplace Suites in Cranberry Township for always making our stay enjoyable.
I found this TownePlace to be exactly what I am looking for in a hotel. It was very clean and modern and had great amenities like USB charging ports right next to the bed. Though it was near I-79, I had no problems with noise and the location was great for restaurant and shopping choices. Id love to stay here again.
Love the hotel, large clean rooms with excellent facilities and great front desk staff. Personally Im not keen on some of the breakfast, cold fried eggs with lukewarm sausage patties doesnt really do it for me. Luckily there is plenty of bread, cereals, waffles, muffins and fruit etc.
This hotel is located near dozens of restaurants and good shopping. The staff is fantastic! Rooms are large and clean. Price is right. This is a newer hotel and as a result my GPS wasnt much help getting me there but it is right behind the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex medical center so it is easy to find. 20 minutes to Pittsburgh stadiums.
Great hotel and location to the arena, shops restaurants, and more. Room amenities and kitchen were fully stocked and complete with everything you would need. Very clean, attentive and friendly staff. Outdoor grill area was a nice touch and bonus for those of us with a big group.
Stayed for the second time at this property recently and found it just as great this time as I had previously. Rooms are clean and well appointed and the staff members are sincerely friendly and courteous. Convenient location close to shopping and Route 79 to downtown Pittsburgh.
The location is brand new, and the rooms show it. The rooms are decked out with brand new carpets, and closets with integrated storage systems. The room I stayed in had a walk in shower, and had a King bed, as well as a sofa bed, and a full kitchen. The breakfast buffet was respecting, but nothing outside of the norm for Marriot locations.
Great place to stay in Cranberry! Cozy room and close to everything. Firebirds Wood Grill is in walking distance and is worth a visit. We loved having a fridge in the room to keep cold drinks. We loved going down to the lobby every morning for coffee and breakfast. The front desk manager, John, was so friendly and helpful both times weve stayed at TownePlace. He recommended places to visit and was very knowledgeable about the Cranberry area. Everytime we come to town this is where we will stay!
Enjoyable stay. Close enough to Pittsburgh without the tension and parking issues of staying anywhere in town. Nice variety of local and chain restaurants and stores nearby. Only downside is noisy, sometimes less than courteous young guests (the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team practice facility is across the street).
A very nice hotel, with plenty of room, a kitchen with a large refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and microwave, a large closet, and a big bathroom. The breakfast was standard, but good. Plenty of storage space as well and the receptionist at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful.
This is the first time I stayed at this hotel. We were in town for a hockey tournament at UPMC66. This hotel is hockey friendly. The staff and room were great. Cleanliness was superb and location is exceptional to the rink, restaurants and other venues. I will stay here again.
Have stayed in this hotel twice now. Each for a week during hockey camp. The hotels location across the parking lot from UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex makes it a PERFECT place to crash during camps. Nice kitchen, nice bath, nice beds, outdoor areas, grills, inexpensive laundry room, nice gym and pool. If youre doing a Pens camp for your youth hockey player and need a spot to crash for the week - this is the spot.
My high school sweetheart and I were engaged 29 years ago but I broke off our wedding. We reconnected recently and met in our hometown of Cranberry Township. I stayed at this hotel, the town Place suites Pittsburgh cranberry Township and the staff bent over backwards to help him decorate my room with balloons and flowers, cake and presents for my birthday. As we head toward marriage now, this hotel will always hold a special place in our story and our heart. Outstanding in every possible way.
This is one of the nicest Marriott properties we stayed at. It right across the street from Pittsburgh Penguin practice facility. It is so clean and state of the art. This is must stay place, is also surrounded around so many different location for food and what ever you may need.
My visit was for a hockey tournament. Excellent location. We just rolled our hockey bags across the parking lot to the arena. Plenty of shopping and restaurants in the area. Easy access in and out from the highway. We will definitely be staying here, again.Sarah WCambridge, ON Canada
Booked our stay on short notice as part of an extended vacation. We stayed in Myrtle Beach, Charlotte, Atlanta, Erie and Pittsburgh. The front desk staff was by far the most genuinely pleasant staff that we encountered. They took an interest in our reason for being in the area and were happy to offer advice on parking at the stadium and other tidbits that helped make our experience at the game more comfortable and pleasant.
We were in town for a softball tournament and had 21 families staying at Cranberry TownePlace. The front desk staff was very accommodating with our 2 teams social needs. Friday night we used the outdoor patio area which had a huge gas fireplace and 65 TV. Saturday night we use the patios 2 Weber grills to cook our teams dinner. Since it was raining, we were able to use the conference room to eat as a group. We will definitely be staying again for any future softball tournaments in the Cranberry area!
Wish we could have stayed longer! They upgraded our room and even had breakfast prepared earlier for those of us who had to leave before the normal breakfast time. There was an outdoor patio I would have loved to sit down in and drink my coffee, but I didnt have the time.
Horrible housekeeping did not clean out entire room. Booked for 2 queens beds and only got one and they said they couldn’t help. Very rude staff they did not care that no one cleaned our room. Do not stay here here there are other great options in the area. They squished my brothers USB too.
The facilities are nice and the staff is courteous. We had a problem with the overnight staff placing a hold on my card when it shouldnt have and since it was the weekend I had to wait for Saturday manager to take off the hold. Hold is still there after 4 days. I know its the banks fault but it still sucks
The new TownPlace Suites will be a must stay in Cranberry for years to come. Staff is excellent, room is excellent, breakfast was great, and the exercise room was fantastic. Great location and close to everything. So glad this hotel was built as I come to Cranberry quite often.
Nice newer hotel in Cranberry Twp. Located next to the UPMC rinks which is home to the Pittsburgh Penguins for their practices. Several restaurants and shopping choices in the area. Hotel room was large clean and comfortable. Morning breakfast was a little blah but typical of the free breakfasts at hotels these day. Definitely would return in the future.
This was the best experience I ever had in a hotel. The staff was fantastic I was there for 5 months and even though I was away from home I felt like I was home.I hope I can get back there one day. If Im ever in the Pittsburgh area there is no other hotel i would stay in

2022-04-24Very tight quarters in the breakfast area. I didn’t care for the food. We had a king suite which would have been great for 2 people but we had 3. When the sofa bed was open, it was butted right up to the bed. The person nearest the window wall could only get out of bed by crawling to the other side of the bed and over the person there OR by stepping onto the sofa bed where a person was also sleeping. There was no luggage rack and no good place to put a suitcase. The freezer in the room does not make ice and there was no ice bucket in the room. This room is too small for 3 people. It was very tight quarters. The room was quiet and clean.

2022-06-13Overall the hotel is spotless very clean, spacious rooms and hotel staff were very helpful. My only complaint was the breakfast it was very bland! the eggs bacon biscuit was runny/ and did not have a good selection. Its the too bad they did not just have eggs/bacon and toast!!

2022-05-13Positive: Nothing Negative: It was a dirty and lots of broken things in the room that should of been fixed prior to stay. And a new room was never offered just excuses.

2021-07-03Staff was more than accommodating and wonderful. My son and grandson were spending the night. I was well taken care of as a Titanium Elite Marriott Rewards Member. They answered all my questions and took care of my family wonderfully, when they arrived. They were welcome and the accommodations were beautiful. Continental Breakfast. Nice pool. Great, central, location right off 79S.

2021-06-07We loved the hotel. It was clean and the staff were friendly. The pool was clean and pleasant. There was only a grab and go breakfast with just a muffin, granola bar, fruit, water bottle and yogurt cup. Fresh coffee was available, but we missed the hot breakfast that is displayed in the ad. The kitchen was nice, but there was no oven in case you wanted to bake anything. You can borrow items from the front desk including a slow cooker and rice maker and cookbook. We didnt use the grills on the patio, but they looked inviting.

2021-06-05The Towneplace Suites Pittsburgh was the perfect overnight stay for our family traveling to Ohio. The hotel was clean and very nice. My wife used the fitness center and said it was perfect to be able get her workout in for the day. With COVID, the breakfast was not available but they offered a quick grab bag. The bag included a muffin, granola bar, orange and water. My daughter and I enjoyed the food. I thought the breakfast was nice given the circumstances. Overall this is a great place to stay and look forward to staying again.
