Tri-Star Ford in other cities:
From start to finish the process was enjoyable. I went with the intent of test driving and working some numbers. By the time we were done I traded the truck I drove up and drove home our new rollback. Jack was an awesome, low pressure salesman. The financing went easily and I got what expected for my trade. Great bunch of people.
After a negative experience with another dealer earlier in the day, Tri star went above and beyond to help us find the car we really wanted. Very nice and helpful bunch of folks. My wife went there before me as I was waiting for the kids to get home from school and meet her there. She called after being there for 5 minutes and told me how much better she felt dealing with them. They ended up getting her a car she really wanted. Happy wife Happy life..... THANKS TRI STAR!!!!!!!!!
Bought my 2013 f-150 memorial day weekend. They were wonderful when it came to getting the truck out the door. The truck only had 1 key. I was told when I left with the truck they would get me the two other keys. I was called approximately 2-3 weeks later and told my keys were being mailed to me. They never came. I lost my one key on July 24 and called to see where my keys were and they suddenly new nothing about them. I was told they was going to check. As of July 27 after calling again to find out nothing more I went to my local dealer (another tri star dealer) to get my free key from the key plan. They lied and told the other dealer I signed a waiver that I only received one key and that I had no key plan. I will never go back to this Tri Star location again nor would I recommend them. Very dishonest and down right dirty!
I have bought two cars here and have had an excellent experience each time. My credit is less than perfect but Shawn and Co. have consistently moved heaven and earth to work me into awesome cars at a great price. I seriously cant reccomend these guys enoughIf you are looking for a Ford, PLEASE ask for Shawn. The guy is a machine and WILL get you the car you need.
Please understand that I bear some responsibility with my negative experience at this dealership. I didnt fully understand what my credit score needed to be to lease. Having stated that, the only reason I gave it 2 stars was b/c Crystal was a decent and polite person as their sales rep. Here is what I experienced that was negative:-Appraisal: The men who do this, did an old-school tactic of low balling me for my trade and then hovered around my car as if to be fully examining it for every detail. They kept looking over their shoulders at me. Very unique. The only problem is, is they were doing such an in-depth study that they never once looked at the interior during this team appraisal. ???-Was quoted on a lease payment and within minutes of me walking out, the payment went down $20. Instantly! ???-I had been in contact with Crystal for a couple of weeks prior to my visit and she knew I was coming from MD. All the facts were given. The finance person must have never paid attention to info, b/c my understanding was they did the entire contract from a PA perspective. Totally unacceptable! No attention to details.-Finally, quoted my brother on a left over 2016 Rebel. Around 49,000. He went to another dealership immediately after we left this one and was quoted 45,000. Better yet, they quoted him a 2017 model for about 1700 to 2000 more. All in all, my review does not line up with the rest of the reviews on here for this dealership. Maybe it was just a one customer bad moment. Both my brother and I left this dealership and went to another and each bought a new vehicle. I feel bad for Crystal b/c she lost 2 sales for others actions.
I would like to tell you how impressed I am with your dealership at Tri Star Blairsville. From the sales department to the service department I give an A plus. I have never been treated so well at a dealership before and the people there go far and beyond where they need to to satisfy the customer. I give special thanks to Christine in Ram service, and Cheryl and Gwen n the body shop. They made my wait with my granddaughter a very fun and special day. I also want to give great remarks to Tom Smith for his help in getting me my new Ram truck. i love the truck and he made the sale such a pleasure that i will not even bother to deal with anyone else in the future. Thank you is not enough to say but it is all that i can do. your company is top notch and #1 in my book.Tim Winnie
I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Tri Star. They didnt push a car on me and let me choose which was best for me. They worked their magic and got me decent payments. I would recommend giving them a try. They are good people and I am very happy with my Jeep! Thanks guys!
My wife and I spent 2 1/2 hours at the dealership for them to do NOTHING for us after them being told 4 times where we needed our payments to be. In the end they STILL didn’t get us to where we needed to be. Ended up at another dealership, got a better deal and put less money down then tri star was requiring. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else (aka out of Indiana county)
Chad, the salesman that helped me out made this an incredibly easy experience for me. Any questions I asked he either responded quickly, or got back to me with the answer once he found it. This is the 5th vehicle I purchased within the last 10 years and by far was the least painful.Finance team hooked me up with a good rate, and were friendly through the whole purchase. Will continue to do business with Tri-Star in the future.
Car had damage to it when we got it. They said they would fix it but they later said they wouldnt after signing all the papers. They kept rescheduling because the body shop was overbooked, they forgot to scheduled it etc. Pressured into buying the vehicle. Over priced, and the program that they offer to help with bad credit is awful and a rip off. Auto Trakk was that program, and they didnt even set it up correctly when we got the vehicle. This was our first dealership experience and it will definitely be our last with them. I tell all our friends & coworkers to stay away from this dealer. Not worth their time or money. They do give you rental cars when yours is in the shop, but we had to get rescheduled again because there wasnt a rental available. By the time we got one problem fixed it was past the 120 or so days that they had to fix things that they promised to fix, and they said too bad, not our problem now.
I recently purchased a 2018 Ford Raptor. This was the best experience I have ever had in a vehicle purchase. I felt respected from the deal itself to the signing of the final paperwork. I would recommend this dealership to al,l come in and enjoy the experience of how Great customer service feels . Thank you all by the way I Love my Raptor. ThanksJohn
I live out of state and came back to Tri Star Ford because they gave me by far the best deal compared to any other dealer. I worked with Tom, Eric and Chad, and they went above and beyond to help me walk out the door with a new truck. I highly recommend this dealership to ANY car buyer.
We always have a great experience, at TriStar Motors, in Blairsville. The staff is friendly. Theres a waiting area with TV and snacks/drinks available for purchase. Their service department is top-notch. They get you in and out quickly and without a heavy bill. Overall, I highly recommend this place!
I just worked with Steve and Nancy this week. Theyre some of the nicest people youll ever meet. They immediately found me a beautiful car and Steve was able to get me a really great finance plan. Tristar will absolutely hook you up when you buy a new car. They gave me three free oil changes, nitrogen tire refills, free dent repair for a year, and free key replacement for a year. Steve didnt waste my time by trying to sell me a bunch of packages I didnt want. I was in and out with a great deal and a sparkly new car. I highly recommend visiting. Ask for Steve Lishego and Nancy.
My wife and I go in wanting to lease a dodge bighorn and we were completely disrespected. We have exellent credit so we should of had no problem with this deal. Tom Smith was the one that had ran our number told us what the deal was about the bighorn and we continued to tell him that it needs to be at a lower price. My wife and I had told this guy that we were also interested in other vehicles but would not run the numbers for it to see if we could get the other vehicles. So after all this, my wife and I had left and came back later on in the evening. The avertizment clearly states if you can find a better deal at a different location to bring back a paper stating the lower price and they would match it or do better or give you the car. Well they refused to corporate with us and told us they couldnt do it and Tom Smith was yelling and screaming at my uncle that I brought in with us the second time. The guy was very unprofessional and very disrespectful. This has also happened on other numerous accounts with other people in my family. I feel this guy either needs be talked to or either taking out of this position for disrespecting and being unprofessional to customers!
I arrived at Tri Star to purchase a specific model of truck. The saleswoman was very kind and told me they had a similar model in the show room. They insisted that I take the truck for a ride and when I stated that I wanted more time to think about buying the car the sales manager chuck was so insitant on me buying the car another person with me had to tell him to back off. Chuck said I could even borrow the car for the evening. I told them I would think about it (as most people would when making such a huge purchase). I called the next day to check on the price of the truck, I was given an out the door price but when things were said and done, charged up to $1000 more! Also READ THIS CAREFULLY.. when someone puts a deposit on a car the deposit usually goes towards the overall price. IN this case I put a $1500 deposit down on a $20,000 car and after putting the deposit down the car was still sold at $20000? Why? Should have just been honest and sold it at $21500. The Manager offered to let me try the truck overnight right? When I realized I was over charged and they acknowledged that I was but would not refund I went to return it 48 hours less than what I realized happened he stated I could not take it back and they would not fix the price issue and stated these words to me in the show room...... “There are things that suck in life”… They will be kind to you to make a sale but beware....If your experience goes bad you will see this side of them! Just because you see a car you like there, check out some other places first, there are tons of dealers beware of this one, I will never be going back, even to let them do free work on my car… I have free oil changes etc that I will gladly pass on.
I bought a used car there a couple weeks ago and will not be going back for service on it or to buy another car. There are cheaper used cars out there at dealers who dont want you to pay things like a popular color charge. Really? I have to pay $250 more because of the color of the used car you have on your lot? Also seems the sales, service and finance people cant seem to agree on what the manufacturer does or doesnt cover on the original warranty. They all agree that you should buy an extended warranty- which they make money on. No real value on trades and they will change the numbers on the paperwork to make it look like you got a deal when you end up with nothing different than the original over cost on the car. They had two sales in their hands, with service on both vehicles, when we were there. They lost the second sale and any chance Ill go back on the lot. Not at all impressed.
Ive only been to this quick lane twice. The waiting room and bathroom were both disgusting. Although it was in the 80s the AC was not on. Very uncomfortable waiting. The coffee in the pot had been there for over a week. I understand the mechanic has to get in the car to move it but no paper mats were put on the floor and it was all filthy from his shoes. The arm rest on the door was soiled and the console too. I have light interior.I previously took my car to Tristar Uniontown and their garage and waiting room was very clean. I stopped going there because their mechanic forgot to put my oil cap on after the oil change. I sure had a mess.Looks like Ill have to find somewhere else to go for service.
I currently live out of state. My dad bought this car from here. It broke down on the side of the road and once my tow truck finally came (4 hours later) they were closed and said they couldnt fix it until 4 days later. Gave me no help at all in getting a ride or finding my way around. Didnt even see the problem leaving me and my broke car out back in the heat. The man who helped me shouldve never been allowed in a service position. I understand it was a Friday evening but you would think they would help an 18 year old out that was out of state.
Normally you get help rather fast at a dealership but I had to go to them about a car that the website said was in stock at this location and wasnt. I had already made several laps of the lot before doing this. This wasnt the first dealership today that had this issue. This dealership however put tons of pressure towards me on deciding what I wanted and not wasting their time. I was repeatedly told that they dont know why I was there in the first place. I felt like more of a nuisance than a customer.
My Father and Grandfather have been buying commercial and personal vehicles from Tri-Star as far back as I can remember. So when my husband and I decided he needed something more reliable to get to work we drove there to see what they had. When we got there Zak (my husband) went in knowing he wanted to look at the Ford Fusion. He spoke with Nancy McKee in sales and she pointed him to the vehicle he was interested in and before I knew it he was talking to Steve Lishego in Finance. We didnt feel pressured, the atmosphere was very relaxed. Steve was so helpful, he gave us some great tips, and he took the time to get us a really good rate. our overall experience was terrific and we will be going back in the spring for my new car :)
My experience was great. I got contacted by 3 dealerships after filling out an online app for financing. Tri-Star and Nancy were the only one to come thru quickly. She found exactly what I was looking for and got it in a matter of a day. Steve made the financing super easy and quick and got me a great rate for my circumstance. If I could give them 10 stars I would. When looking for a car again, I will definitely go to Tri-Star again.
Use to buy a lot trucks from here, went today and sales person did not like me asking questions about items on the break down list on the auto I was looking at, even after he went to the floor manager hr came back with no real answer. I assume it was just another fee to collect more profit from you. So no satisfactory answer I left in my old truck and went to ebensburgh.
My sales person was Nancy Mckee and i dealt with Steve Lishego in special finance, who both went above and beyond my expectations for what i thought i would get. I was worried about getting financed however they both were able to assist and i left in the vehicle i wanted. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will definitely be back when the time comes for me or my family to purchase another vehicle.
Please be very wary of taking your vehicle to be serviced by this dealership!Last month I noticed that my mileage was approaching the limit suggested for the next oil change. It surprised me a little bit because I just got my oil changed and car inspected at the dealership the previous February. I guess I traveled more that I thought I did. I called the dealership and they told me that I could go to one of their local branches (the one in Kittanning was the closest) to get it done. I made an appointment with the branch in Kittanning for the following week (I also asked them to change my rear windshield wiper as well since I couldn’t find the wiper anywhere to buy it myself to just pop on).I went to the branch in Kittanning and they seemed nice enough. About waiting about 25 minutes the tech came out holding what looked like a bad impression of a bunny made by a child with plastic parts and fuzz. He asked if the KIA was mine – I told him it was – and he asked me if I knew what he was holding. Honestly, I told him no. (I can handle dumb stuff like windshield wipers but car parts are beyond me.) He told me that he was holding my air filter that he just pulled out of my car. He asked me when I had gotten my car serviced last; I told him February. A very confused expression came over his face and he asked me if I was sure. I told him that I was positive. He said that he has NEVER seen an air filter get that polluted in just a few months. I told him that I went to the dealership to get it serviced. He brought me to the manager of the garage. I explained again that I got the car serviced a few months prior. He asked who by because they obviously missed the air filter. I told him I went to the dealership that they are owned by. He was hesitant to tell me more on his opinions but I pressed. He told me that he has never seen an air filter get that dirty in just a few months. He told me that the only explanation could be that it was not serviced recently. For the mechanically challenged (like me) this translates to the fact that they didn’t even look at it when I brought my car in for an oil change & inspection last February.I have more issues with this dealership but I have a lack of evidence so I am not going to go on about those here. My suggestion is to avoid this dealership. I have had positive experiences at the Kia dealership in Butler if you are looking to buy a vehicle and get it serviced.
I have worked with the service department they have been OK but the sales department is a whole different ball game and I would never have anyone go to them. They tried to overcharge me on a new RAM almost 10,000 more than other companies and their monthly rates for financing were extremely high. Even if you know people it will not help. Do not buy here.
Best experience Ive ever had dealing with at car dealership. Steve Lishego and Greg Turchetta really listened to what I was saying and what type of vehicle I wanted. After we attempted to locate a Jeep I wanted we ended up having to order the exact Jeep Rubicon X I wanted. Throughout the entire process they where true professionals and NEVER lied to me. It was a breath of fresh air from what I was dealing with the past few month from other Jeep dealers. I actually traveled 45 min to go to Tri-Star and passed 4 other Jeep dealers in my area. A+ rating from initial meeting to delivery. Steve actually kept in touch with me while my Jeep was being built and sent me updates via e-mail and text.
I will never buy another car here. First off they said the car had AWD it doesnt only 2wd. the radio keeps dying. Went for service and rude just doesnt cover it. The steering makes a rubbing noise. I was told thats because its cold. Since when is August at 85 degrees cold? Also the steering locks and I cant start the car. Told again to call them they will come pick up the car. What am I to do at 10p.m. at night. They arent coming and I have no way home. When I took the car in for so called free lifetime inspection, I brought up the steering problem. Service looked at my key and said it looked like I was opening paint cans with it and handed the key back and walked away. Tire sensors constantly on, so I stop in one day when I was driving past to have put air in the tires. I was told I HAD to have an appointment.Ill never buy another car here.
They really helped me. I honestly didnt think I could get a vehicle at all but they gave me a great deal. I couldnt pass it up. Tammy Sidor helped me to understand everything and found a perfect vehicle for me and Robin Stedman helped me get a great vehicle at a great price. ❤
We started our search for a new Dodge Ram 2500 by checking all the dealers within a 200 mile radius. After we narrowed our search, we emailed at least 5 dealers to inquire about pricing and truck specifics. Cory Burchfield was the first to respond!! He was prompt, courteous, and respectful of our time. Cory went above and beyond by taking photos additional photos of the truck and answered all of our questions regarding financing and trade options. It was Cory’s professionalism that drew us to Tri Star, so we drove over 2 hours to Blairsville PA to complete the purchase. We are more than pleased with the purchase of our new truck!!
I will never buy or take my car to get fixed at their quicklane or collision center again. They got money out of me, but no more. Ill take all the cars my family and I buy and go somewhere else. Next time my car is the Collison center it wont be tri suck either. Ill take it somewhere that they wont take so freaking long. Please people look elsewhere and dont spend a single dime here. Never again.
I used to work there, DONT SHOP FOR YOUR CAR HERE. I was a salesman for a month and had to leave because I was horrified by their business practices. I have never seen them cut a single person a deal. At least a third of them have a solid criminal record. They will use pressure tactics, lie to you, undersell you on your trade, renig on their promises and that Tri-Star Advantage line they try to sell you is hardly worth more than a couple of hundred bucks. The Great Dealership review is a load of bull. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Have bought my last two vehicles at Tri-Star Blairsville and will return when the time comes to buy again. Have personally dealt with the salesmen, body shop, service and tech personal. Have found them all to be helpfull and true professionals. I recomend Tri-Star to anyone that is looking to buy a new or used vehicle or in need of mechanical repair. A+++++++++++++++++++
Truly a pleasure to work with these guys. They actually care about the relationship they build with their customers and they do their best to maintain that relationship even after the sale. They really did their best to make things work for me and did whatever they could to help.
I dealt with the salesman who goes by the name Matthew Lehman. He was the full package. I left feeling like a burden was lifted from my shoulders. If I had a million dollars, Id buy a car everyday from this young, intelligent man, and so should everyone else! Come on down to tristar in blairsville pa, and see for yourself.
No car buying experience, but I will say the new TriStar in kittanning pa is not community friendly at all, a bunch of parents have a bus stop down at this location on the side street, their sidewalk is icy and snow covered I have asked them the last time (respectfully) to clear off that walkway as they know 10+ children catch their bus there. Today was my last straw as the sidewalk is so icy and snow covered and I watched a bunch of kids including mine almost fall... I cannot stress enough how dangerous that is...
I went to Tri-Star motors looking for a car i pick out a Ford Fusion but unfortunately i only had it for a week and a half it was totaled in a auto accident, so i needed another car i went back because my first experience dealing with them went very well, my second time around went well also. When i trade my car in three years i will go back to Tri-Star.
Well, they have the most disrespectful worker there my ex boyfriend currently works there and now he is into weed and doing drugs because at tristar they do not drug test and I will be reporting them it is wrong for them to not drug test and these people are fixing and washing cars! Never go there trust me!!
Would not recommend taking a vehicle in for repairs had our jeep in for repairs Jan 2015 Feb 2015 March 2015 and had to take back in Jan 2016 for the same problem , which they sub contract out to John Cox enterprise of cranberry pa , after 3 attempts still leaked and when jeep went in for the 4 attempt they wanted to charge us hundreds of dollars to repair what they failed to repair on other attempt .

2022-04-08Great customer service. Very friendly staff who treats you with respect. The dealership wants to continue to better build a relationship with the customer so they will do things that other dealerships wouldnt even consider. Makes the car shopping experience not as painful as one may think it to be.

2017-02-02We had our car in the collision center for extensive damage from a deer. I had to continually check in on the cars status, nobody would contact me concerning any part of the repair from begining to end. The car was quoted a repair near the same amount that the car was worth, but the manager claimed it to be repairable. Paperwork was submitted so that it did not seem as costly as it was, parts were purposely left out of the quote and the most of the cost involved was labor by their own facility. They had my car for 6 weeks and at the end could not correctly diagnose a persistent check engine light issue. After trying all sorts of unrelated solutions they cleared the code and told me it may come back on but I could pick the car up. Once I picked it up the light immediately came on and at that point I refused to take it back to them for any further attempts. I was able to track the problem to a loose terminal in 1 of the main harness plugs that they sloppily replaced during their repairs. After this was resolved I took it to another collision center to have another $2k put in to correcting poor paint matching, front end allignment and a drivers door that wasnt sealing. After $14k total invested, 3 months of screwing around numerous rental cars, my insurance company finally totaled the car because it was not fully repairable. This place gave me excuse after excuse and was very deceptive to both me and my insurance company. I would take any Collison work elsewhere and save yourself the headache!

2020-08-11Very pleasant sales people and very caring also. They are not at all like the pushy salesmen that Ive seen in years gone by. They genuinely try to help you to get something that will fit your needs, not necessarily new, but even used if its in good shape and has low mileage. They are just regular people like most of us, they dont walk around in suits or push you to sign on the dotted line. I am 67 years old and on a fixed income, and they tried to assist me with anything that I may want and could afford.

2019-07-14Sales staff were rude, stood there and watched me transfer everything from my car (a lot of stuff!!) to a rental and did nothing but watch me struggle and smoke. Reception desk staff, didnt really seem like they wanted to be there. Service counter, I was second in line and the 2 men and a lady that were working there, decided that they would take ppl behind me before me, which is unacceptable and then when I spoke up, they were very ignorant. Parts counter was exceptionally nice though! They were thorough and quite helpful! Staff needs training on how to be pleasant and get some customer service training.

2016-06-10I was contacted by Crystal and she is absolutely a pleasure to deal with. Crystal and Harry worked very hard in located the right truck for me and made the process very smooth. This was the best experience I have ever received at a car dealership. From the time I was contacted about a truck, to the end of the sale, nothing but friendly and courteous employees. I was beyond impressed with the service that Crystal and Harry provided. I will definitely recommend them to all of my friends who are interested in purchasing a vehicle. Some of the nicest people I have ever done business with.

2017-04-25Buyers beware I got a car from Tri-Star I was told I was approved for a loan so I went in and signed my paperwork not sure if it was because they are that incompetent or because I was only 18 but I was told by a third party that worked there I needed to return my car or come back because the loan was wrote up wrong. I had it reviewed well my parents did and the contract was not legal however I guess they wrote the wrong loan down they said to the third party 11 days after signing the paperwork I got a call from a sales man and was told to return my car or they will lose their asses, I informed them I did nothing wrong and they were to make good on our payment. So after them making me and my parents with my 2 ½ year old brother wait over two hours to resign a contract that was their mistake I ended paying a little more a month but we came up with an agreement so I thought okay mistakes are made however when getting the car I was told since I had a missing lug nut one would be ordered. I said about the lug nut again when signing the second loan for the car and I was told everything was the same except I dropped key care. Well that has been 40 days since the first signing and 5 calls from my mom and three from me still no lug nut today she talks to parts guy he says they didn’t return calls because they lost a manager really and it would be 56.99 or something like that for a set. I was told I would get a replacement since the car didn’t have one really. So the parts guy says he is talking to the first sales man I talked to and will call back. I guess I learned a valuable lesson all car places are shady but some you just shouldn’t trust at all.Not sure what upsets me the most the rude phone calls , the breaching of confidentially, the not returned phone calls, the hours waiting after they made a mistake, or them trying to charge me more money after I was told something would be replaced since it wasn’t on the car. Good thing I love the car because the service was completely unacceptable from sales to parts, and the biggest question I have is how Tri-Star stays in business when they treat customers so badly
