I have never had a worse experience working with a business in my life. The truck was not clean. I did not get the blankets or dolly I rented. I had to send someone back to the U-haul location in a separate car to pick up the dolly, and I never got the blankets. To top it all off, I was overcharged by 50 Miles ( or $100). Despite repeated attempts to work with U-haul, it looks like I will not be able to get a refund. I am confident that dishonest people are working at this U-haul location, and I would strongly recommend not using their services. I am thoroughly disappointed with U-haul. In conclusion, use Penske have only had good experiences with Penske.
I rarely like giving out 1 star to local businesses but when operated under dishonesties it is well deserved. We drove approximately 6 miles after receiving our truck to our initial location and about 6 more to the destination. When we account for when we return we travelled 24 miles for 1 trip. They said we drove 46 miles. They also said they gave us a tank of gas over 1/4 and that they texted us the information about mileage. We did not recieve any text because we gave our home phone. They asked us for the best number to call us and said nothing about texting. So there was yes proof. If you plan on using this location take a picture of the odometer and record of your mileage used because they will lie and charge you.
I was in a stressful moving situation in August 2012 having sold my home much quicker than I thought so I had to move half of my things to storage and I had to do it fast. They were very easy to work with. I was able to get a truck that was clean and move everything I needed to move. They even stayed open a little later for me so that I could finish the job. I feel like my items are safe at this location and that their customer service is good and the place is very clean and that is good enough for me.
Great experiences. Used them twice, about six months apart from each other. Walked in the first time, online reservation the second time, no hassles, good service, clean trucks. Dealt with the same young guy, didnt catch his name, very friendly and knowledgeable. I was also helped the second time by Miss Walker and she was very friendly and helpful. A positive experience, two for two over there, very satisfied.
I purchased the hitch online in late December. I had appointment schedule for January 16th made at the same time when I placed the order in December. Someone called me back a while later and said that the appointment would be for 8:30a on Sa 1/16. My wife called back and they changed it to 1p. We went there yesterday around 11:15 or so to drop off the vehicle because we had errands to run during the day with the kids. I waited in line for almost an hour just to talk to someone at the desk. When I got to the front they told me the installer was not in. I asked what that meant and they said it meant they can’t do the install. Huh?! I told them I have had a standing reservation in place for weeks and have PREPAID for the install and hitch. I told them to call the installer. They reluctantly did. I was told he would be in at 2p. Really? 1 hour after my appointment time. Guess my time is not very valuable. The guy tells me to wait to see if he has the hitch. I stand at the counter for 10 minutes. He just disappeared. Finally, I just left my keys and walked out. I wait till 4:30 or so to call because no has called me back yet. I was told they would get an estimated time and call me right back. No one calls. I call back around 5:45 and was told they can’t install the hitch and I can come pick up the Jeep. What?!!!!! No one bothered to call me and tell me. I had to call for a status every time. So in the end I lost several hours of my life for absolutely nothing. Very unprofessional.
Everyone at this location are complete idiots. My auto mechanic told me this, the North Hills U-Haul location also told me this, and I found out first hand.No one knows what they are doing here. Just imagine if you were hired to work there and received no training whatsoever, and all of your coworkers received the same. My trailer inspection consisted of a guy bending down at the waist and looking at the back of my truck for 3 seconds and said looks like a hitch! The trailer guy couldnt fix my trailer wiring and took a phone call from Enterprise about a job he applied for there while he was fiddling with my wiring. Even though the wiring wasnt working on the trailer, he let me drive off the lot anyway. The woman who rang me up didnt know trailers had class weight capacities, and she also didnt feel like taking me to my trailer so she begged three other workers to do it for her.
I moved on the second of September and was told I would be paying around $140 for the entire service. That price is already a little steep but the net day I received a call from this uhaul location saying that Id been overcharged around $6000 dollars for the service as a mistake! I would not recommend this nor any uhaul location to anybody for thier move.
Preciouse Catlett was very helpful to me. I come in about once a month to pay my bill and I always ask for boxes. This is the first time that I was asked if I needed help! Most of the time its men in there but I was happy to have the help that I needed.Thanks again Preciouse!
Stain and sticky seats. Unclean interior, scratch and dented exterior. I was in utter shock when my bro arrived with the most raggedy van they had on the lot. However when I drive pass this place, only the new model vans are being showcased. I guess you have to look a certain way to get a good van for the money you dish out.

2022-04-03On March 26 had the pleasure of working with Mr. Roger in obtaining my U-Haul. He was very courteous and professional and was a great help. Great help needs to be recognized especially in these trying times. And I think Mr. Rogers should be rewarded for such great help and being so friendly.

2022-02-06I had a wonderful experience. There were two gentlemen who helped me extensively from picking up my truck to dropping it off. Not only were they very professional and thorough, they insured that I was satisfied with my selection and made sure that I knew exactly how the mileage and rental agreement worked. Upon returning the van, the gentleman met me in the parking lot and had me out of there in less than 5 minutes. Honestly!I will definitely return to this location for future rentals, especially if the two gentlemen are still there.

2022-06-29Ive been to U-hauls all over the city/country. This is without a doubt my favorite one. The owner runs a tight ship and everyone is extremely professional. I actually look forward to going here.

2022-01-31The staff here are rude and unprofessional. When i arrived I informed I still needed to go inside for the truck keys even though I requested self check in. Once I spoke to the woman at the counter she stated my truck had been given away to another customer so she would start reserve another. That was fine. Then I was told I needed to have an alternative contact because I left my license. As I was leaving a male associated start calling me by yelling “yoo yoooo”. I did not turn around because I didn’t think he was talking to me. When I returned to give the info requested he informed me he was indeed calling for me.I asked if the dolly I was requested was available he stated the location didn’t have anymore. I asked how that could be if I reserved the dolly. They associates shrugged it off. I stated I needed the dolly or there was no point in getting the truck. Some how a dolly became available. When I received the key the female rep simply said. The truck is parked in the back with no indication on how to identify it. I was already so frustrated I left with the little information they gave me and spent 15 trying the key on the trucks,”In the back”. I went back inside and requested assistance. But was redirected to two gentlemen sitting outside in a truck. They were the only helpful staff. They explained how to locate the truck and they I was to pull up next to them so the dolly could be loaded. If it were not for these two gentleman I would still be lost.

2021-10-11I requested to upgrade my reservation from a cargo van to 15ft truck; the associate responded, ok, to my request but still gave me the cargo van. After searching the lot for about 5 min looking for a 15ft truck, I go inside to let the associate know that he gave me a cargo van, despite my requested upgrade. He apologized, said he didnt know I requested an upgrade and sent me to the manager for assistance. The manager was very kind and helpful. He completed the upgrade and even extended my return time to make up for the time I lost while completing both transactions. I asked if the vehicle was clean, he replied that it should be, but they are short staffed, so if it isnt clean he would come out and clean it... That vehicle was FILTHY, it had 108,000 miles on it, and it looked as if it hadnt been cleaned ever! I didnt bother to ask the manager to help me clean the vehicle since the line was so long. So me and my mom cleaned the built up dirt of off the surfaces we had to touch. I intended on cleaning whatever vehicle I received, as I am germ conscious, but I didnt anticipate that level of filth... The vehicle ran like trash, the brakes sucked, and the trans sounded as if it was ready to go. Needless to say it was a scary ride. Upon returning the vehicle, I informed the associate of the trucks issues and he responded yeah, everyone complains about the 15 footers.... Ill never rent at this location again!

2020-10-04Hope I can give zero. The customer service was bad and they charged me extra money for not returning the same gas. But the gas level was not right in the first place. Although I took pictures the minute I got in the truck. They don’t take it. Argued for long and nothing has happened. Plus, the right rear view mirror was broken and it was very difficult to make right turns as you cannot really see the right side of the back.In summary, NOT recommending at all. If you do choose to rent, make sure you have EVERYTHING right before hitting the road and ask them to correct immediately. Otherwise you lose money. I have been there.

2021-05-05I will not use Uhaul again. Two weeks prior, I had a truck rented and the Uhaul website went down in the AM. Although I waited for an hour, no one could check out the truck to me. My entire days plans had to be cancelled. I never heard from Uhaul again. No apology, no follow-up, not even that the website was running again. Stupidly, I tried renting the same truck again from Uhaul 2 weeks later. Having signed in using their online check-in system, I was told to wait in the parking lot for an attendant. I waited for 30 minutes and when I asked what was going on, I was told by an attendant to keep waiting outdoors. Almost an hour later, When I finally went inside, where they were handling many customers at the counter in person, I was told very rudely that the website wasnt working for phone check-in, and that this was not their problem. Had I not gotten angry, I would still be waiting in their damn parking lot. People here are RUDE and do not care about customer service. Never again, Uhaul.

2020-08-31No one at this location seams to know what theyre doing. I was 4th in line at 8am and it took 2 hours to get a trailer that I had reserved a week prior. I had also purchased a ball hitch and wire adapter. The wire adapter was sold to someone else after I had placed an order for it. I needed to go to an alternative uhaul location to get another one, paying for it AGAIN! Upon returning the trailer, again, no one seemed to know what to do. I went in to ask where to leave the trailer, the person at the desk said to ask someone outside. The associate outside said to ask the person at the desk and also didnt know how to take a trailer off a hitch. I dont understand how someone who works for a company that rents trailers doesnt know how to remove one from a hitch. This is the slowest, sloppiest service Ive ever encountered. I will never rent from this location again.

2020-01-01I came into the store this morning to buy some boxes and a young lady by the name precious help me. When I came into the store they were having a conversation amongst themselves but As soon as I came into the store she and some other gentleman greeted me. Precious got my boxes for me and sat them by the door even thou there were man there. You couldn’t tell me she wasn’t the manger until she pointed to the cute dark skin guy behind the desk who ring me up was and said he was the manger. He was evil and acted as if he didn’t wanna be bothered. She did her thing working with me today and since she isn’t the manger she needs to be one!! I’ll be back only if she can wait on me

2020-02-16A Premier Location !This is an unsolicited commentary about how well Ty Hamilton and his team assisted me with my move. I truly appreciated their kind, courteous and sympathetic attention, which was displayed by the entire team--from pick up to return.I can not think of another U-Haul location that I would go to in the future. My experience at this location has always been exceptional. This is a premier location and those moving should not consider any other location but this U-Haul ! You will not be disappointed !
