Our experience staying here was marred by the terrible costumer service. After booking our stay, we were supposed to receive a set of instructions regarding how to access the unit, but this never happened. I tried reaching out to the phone number listed in my booking confirmation and, as it turns out, that phone number doesnt even exist anymore. We arrived at the unit on our check-in day and there was no one there to help, or even let us in. We were freezing outside the building for over 30 minutes, until we found another phone number to reach out to. When we finally got to speak with someone (a woman named Jennifer), she said that yes, we do have a booking confirmed but they still cant let us in until we complete a few requirements online. At no point did she apologize for never reaching out or never sending any information to us prior to our arrival. AND THEY STILL WOULD NOT LET US IN THE BUILDING! I had to ask they let us in at least to the hallway as we were freezing and we still needed to complete the online steps they requested. This was truly the worst customer experience Ive had with any travel company (and I travel a lot!). It seemed very sketchy and unprofessional, and we didnt feel comfortable at all. Were definitely not coming back, and I would not recommend this to anyone else

We stayed at 755 N capitol in Fairmount.There is a lot of paperwork going through them directly vs Airbnb in addition to a 10.50 service fee for the security deposit that they don’t really mention.The hallways smelled of weed. There was no remote for the television so we could not watch it The light on the microwave stayed on so we had to unplug it. The bathtub needed plunging but thankfully there was a plunger handy so we weren’t standing in water while showering. There were about four different paint colors in the bedrooms…which obviously doesn’t impact your stay but is not really at this price point reasonable.Location is great right behind Eastern State and ultimately this got the job done but we weren’t on a vacation just visiting friends as we used to live in philly. If this had been a vacation, this would have been unacceptable.

The location is so convenient! The team was very responsive to any questions or concerns I had. The place was clean and definitely a great value especially having a washer and dryer in the room for longer stays. It is clearly an apartment and not a hotel room and has a more homey feel. I didn’t have any requests for specific supplies needed for my stay or I am sure the team would have assisted with this. I wound up needing to extend my stay and as they had availability it was very easy to do. I would recommend staying here, and if there’s availability I plan on staying here again with my next visit.

Had to cancel because this company is COMPLETELY RECKLESS with personal data. They wanted me to send them un-encrypted images of their photo id and credit card through regular email.This request is pretty sketchy by itself. Are they selling this data to a third source? Are their computer hard drives encrypted? How long do they keep these files? How do I know that some employee isnt copying them?When I asked them how they wanted me to encrypt the file, they didnt know what I was talking about. They didnt understand what unsecured email was. They didnt know and didnt care about the risk they were forcing their clients to endure.And its not like they are the only fish in the sea. I went somewhere else and so should you.

The check in process was easy. The room was private. The HVAC system was responsive to ensure we were comfortable. The real benefit of this place is it’s not a regular hotel; where you have a greater chance of having annoying neighbors. The seperated rooms insure good chances of no disturbances. I’m very easily annoyed by hotels and I was satisfied and glad I gave this place a chance. I would definitely stay again

This is an excellent option for the price. The location is perfect, check-in was easy, and the space was very clean. I particularly appreciated how much communication we received from the people at UrHIP. They messaged (via both text and email) and called me a couple of days before and again the day of my arrival with basic information about getting into the room and to confirm my arrival time. They also asked me if I needed any groceries picked up beforehand and when I said no, I was told there would be bottled water in the room for me. (Though as it turned out, there was not bottled water in the room. This is a minor complaint and not something I would even mention if I hadnt been told it would be there.)My complaints are minor. My main complaint is that the space is somewhat rundown. Our room was one of the two basement apartments in the building, and its an old building, so I understand that that comes with certain accommodations. For example, the HVAC uses two wall/window units and is very noisy; this didnt bother us but could bother someone who needs quiet to sleep. However, some things did bother us. The dresser drawers were too dirty/worn down to use. The pillows on the bed were clearly worn out and quite uncomfortable. The bathroom lacks any place to hang towels. There are no easily accessible outlets in the bedroom to plug in a phone. There were also no spare toilet paper rolls where they were supposed to be. We ended up messaging the management to get more, and they promptly brought some, so no real harm done, but its the kind of thing that should have been there without us having to ask for it.Bottom line: You get what you pay for. Its a solid option for a low price.

I stayed here a few weeks ago. I booked this place through Expedia. The place was nice and clean except that the first night I saw a mouse coming out of my shoe bag and running around the kitchen. I had to stay with it the entire weekend. Didn’t get any money back or anything.

The customer support and location was excellent and the space clean. The efficiency itself is in the basement so it takes some effort to carry suitcases down the stairs. If arriving by car, factor in garage costs because street parking is very limited in this area.

Booked a last minute weekend trip to Philadelphia via UrHomeInPhilly. Our stay was at the studio in Rittenhouse and it was spectacular. The studio was well kept, the hosts at UrHomeInPhilly were very responsive and the location was just perfect for what I had intended (experience the restaurants and taking long walks around Philly). I parked the car less than a block away and didnt move it once for the entire 4 day period. Cant say enough how great the location was.

I stayed at this location last year during a job training. Customer support was always available, it was clean, it was quiet and the price was right. Would definitely recommend!
