This is by far the best place Ive ever gone to get contacts. Their equipment is up to date, the doctor is very personable and explains things to you, there is no trying to upsell you on things you dont want or need. Just quick, honest, good people trying to help you get your vision where it needs to be. The staff were some of the nicest people Ive seen in an optometrist setting as well. They even helped me save money!
Amazing staff! I came in and got my exam, they took me early and got me the glasses I wanted plus they was able to get me new lenses/frame for my broken glasses I had. They worked very well with my Insurance and Ionly paid a small co-pay! This place is phenomenal. I highly recommend them.
The Visionworks in the Millcreek Mall is amazing. The staff is incredibly helpful and went above and beyond for me recently when I had an issue arise with my glasses suddenly. A special thanks to Amy for her understanding of my situation and quick handling of the issue.
Pete did an amazing job fitting new glasses AND contacts into our incredibly tight budget. The entire staff was superb. Petes patience and outstanding customer service put this father of 3 who usually settles for less, into a complete set of corrective lenses that I otherwise wouldve waited months to afford separately, all with kindness & understanding. Tremendous!
First of all... I ordered my glasses over a month ago and picked them up on 9/22/21. Upon leaving the store, I felt like my legs were 10 ft long and couldnt walk properly. I went back a few days later to see if adjustments would help. Now they are so bent at an angle that adjustments didnt help, but I gave it the old college try for a week. No good. I went back and ordered a new pair through Norman. He informed me he put a rush on the order and it would be here in a few days. I called him the following Friday...5 days later...and they werent in. He said give it a couple more days. I begrudgingly agreed. I called back 7 days later and they STILL arent in and Amy couldnt find an order!!!! So she reordered them and put a rush on them and said give it a couple days. That was yesterday. We will see if they are in by Friday!!!! Well, nm. Its Thurs and I called and was informed that its taking longer than expected! Wth!? I will be in for a complete refund TODAY!! Thanks for not standing behind your product!
I went to Visionworks on 3/20. I was greeted quickly and taken for pre-evaluation by Katy, who was patient as I got adjusted to some of the new equipment, particularly the one used to examine the retinas. Dr. Berkshire was very professional during the exam and gave me great information. I bought glasses hat day and Hayley did an outstanding as she helped me get glasses that were both aesthetically pleasing and could accommodate my prescription. It was a great experience and I highly recommend it.
The women at doctors are were fantastic, they were very friendly and helpful. Gentlemen who took care of me to find frames not helpful at all . He didn’t help me find what fit my face or what would work with progressive lenses all he did was sit and wait for me and my husband to come to his table. Then he wouldn’t say what he thought about my frame choice. My vision is so bad that I have to rely on others opinion when plucking out frames, he was of no assistance. The last time we were there we had a woman who went out of her way to help but not this time, you need people who want to help not just collect a pay check. Unfortunately that’s what this world is coming to.
Hayley was extremely helpful and very friendly! She quickly looked up our plan information, she helped me pick my frames out, and my husband even got a pair of sunglasses! We were in and out in a timely manner which we definitely appreciate as we have busy schedules! I cant wait to get my glasses and I recommend that everyone ask for Hayley B! We were very pleased with our experience!
The eye doctor gave me the wrong prescription. I was provided sample lenses to try for a month. I ended up having to go back and talk to someone. I couldn’t see properly through my lenses. The woman I spoke with said “it’s normal your eyes are just adjusting, here try this other brand” I still couldn’t see! So I ended up going back and was given yet another brand to try, two months of walking around with the wrong prescription definitely wasn’t fun. I ended up going to another company and that eye doc looked at my Visionworks prescription after doing my exam and said “this is way off! No wonder you couldn’t see”. I’d avoid this place if you can. They truly don’t care about getting your prescription right or not, Visionworks made me feel like it was my fault I couldn’t see out of the lenses they gave me. Listen to your customers! we know our eyes and we most definitely know when we can’t see.Edit: I sent an email to Visionworks a week before I posted this review. I still haven’t heard from anyone.
From the moment I walked in I felt very welcomed. Dr. Harris was so friendly and personable. She did a fantastic job with my appointment. She got to know me and was very knowledgeable about the care I needed as a breastfeeding mom. I’m really happy I had my appointment with her. She made the whole experience a positive and comfortable one.After I was done with my appointment Hayley helped me find glasses. I was having a hard time finding exactly what I wanted. She asked me if I had specific style and I did. She came back with two trays of glasses that fit exactly the style I was looking for. Hayley did a great job explaining my billing as well.I’m really glad I went to Visionworks!
Hayley was AMAZING! We have been coming to Vision Works for a few years now but our last experience was outstanding! We decided to get the whole family in on the same day. 2 adults and our 4 kids. Hayley was attentive, friendly, helpful, honest and down to earth. Dealing with 6 people ranging in age from 46-4 yrs old picking out glasses and all that goes in to it was handled flawlessly. I seriously cant say enough about her! Today when we went back to pick up some of the glasses she was there to greet us with a huge smile like we were old friends. Like I said I cant say enough about how amazing she was!! AMAZING JOB HAYLEY!!!!!
Im new to Visionworks and my first experience was pretty great. The doctor was very nice. Hayley helped me find the perfect frames that are stylish and also something I will enjoy wearing more then just at night time before bed. She also assisted me in getting contact lenses. Overall she was super helpful and very nice. I found my new go to place for glasses and contacts!
Really happy with the eye doctor there and all of the friendly, patient and helpful staff! Made my first experience getting glasses a breeze. Great prices. Works with insurances and if you dont have coverage the will try to find discounts for you. Very satisfied customer! I will be bringing in my daughters next week. Thanks Visionworks!Edit- My first appt was in June and I was in tears because I could see normal again. Glasses came in fast and are stylish! My headaches are gone!
I love the glasses that I got at a fantastic price. The workers are very friendly and helpful also. My only complaint Is the eyeglasses I picked up had scratches all over the frames. They ordered me a new pair no problem but when they put the lenses in the new frames they scratched these ones also. I’ve never had this problem before and they’re tiny scratches but brand new glasses shouldn’t be scratched all over the frames before you even get them home. Please be more careful when you put lenses in frames.
My family has been going to visionworks for as long as i can remember. The doctor was straightforward and to the point. Eye exam was super fast and easy. Plenty of glasses to choose from. We always make sure to schedule when Hayley is working because she is amazing and so helpful for picking out glasses. Hayley makes the experience fun!
Always a great experience when I visit Visionworks. Was there last week with my daughter and today for myself. Hayley helped me pick out a pair of glasses, as I was having a hard time finding something to fit my face. She was very accommodating, and super helpful. Dr. Landa is also wonderful and takes time to listen to your concerns I was able to walk on with. O appointment, and be out within an hour great customer service from everyone. I would highly recommend!
I am new to the Erie area and recently transferred my vision care to Visionworks. Dr. Harris had the very BEST bedside manners and was knowledgeable and experienced with examining pregnant/nursing patients like myself. After my exam, I had the privilege of working with Hayley to choose the perfect pair of glasses! It was apparent that Hayley wanted me to leave with a pair of glasses and lenses that I LOVED! I was impressed at how invested she is with her clients. She took the time to explain the cost of everything and helped me maximize my vision insurance benefits. I look forward to returning to Visionworks in Erie for our family’s future vision care needs.
I had an amazing time here! Shelby was more than helpful and super cheerful. She gave me an honest option and great recommendations. She was a lovely spirit to be around while making the tough decisions. I more than enjoyed my experience and am very thankful I had her to help me out!

Lynsie was a wonderful help. Such a sweet person and very knowledgeable about the products. Also gives great advice. I actually had a nice time at the store talking with the employees and fellow customers after just wandering in randomly on a Wednesday night. We all helped each other find the right glasses! Also, they did their very best to find me a good deal. Would recommend.
I have been a costumer of Vision works for at least ten years. I have always found them to be polite, helpful and professional. Today I went and to see if they would be able to fix a pair of my glasses that the bow had become bent. When I arrived at the door It said I needed an appointment which I did not have but I was asked what I needed and showed her my glasses and she took them and fixed them immediately. Thank you I will continue to be a costumer.
My first time here. The doctors were nice and knowledgeable. Haley was great when finding new glasses and talked to me about all our options. She wasnt too pushy which I find a problem at most places .She was nice, professional, and personable. I had a really nice experience here .
I had a very good experience getting my most recent pair of glasses at Visionworks. They have a nice selection of frames and I was both given space to pick out the frames I wanted without anyone hovering over me and given the assistance needed to understand the benefits of my newly acquired vision insurance. I was purchasing transitions lenses and Pete took the time to explain to me what my different options were and the benefits and drawbacks of each option. I expected to have to wait at least a day or more to get my glasses since they were a special kind of lens, but my glasses were ready for me a few hours later. I am a very satisfied customer and will definitely be back.
Ive been wearing glasses for twenty-five years and this was my first visit to Visionworks at the Millcreek Mall in Erie. I wasnt happy with my previous visits to local optometry centers, so I decided to schedule my exam with Dr. Leszek at Visionworks and Im glad I did. He was excellent and explained every detail of my exam and why I was having problems with my vision. His assistance, Haley, went above and beyond helping me choose frames and lenses. She was awesome and with the current promotion, I paid less for two pair of glasses than I paid for one at my past optical center. The entire staff is helpful and personable.
I went to VisonWorks for an eye exam and to purchase glasses and couldn’t have had a better experience. Gregory, the doctor, explained what he was doing and provided helpful explanations. Hayley was very patient, carefully explained my insurance benefits, and assisted with selecting a pair of glasses I love. Thank you for a great experience!
My first experience at Visionworks was excellent. I was in and out in under an hour. The staff was very polite and professional. Shelby was especially helpful and patient. She helped me find exactly what I was looking for, despite my inability to express it well! I was very pleased and would recommend them highly.
Everyone was very helpful and friendly. My visit required documentation for an application. They were able to accomodate that with no problem.Hayley helped me with selecting frames for glasses. Then she even went the extra mile and shopped the cost of contact lenses versus glasses, billed to my insurance. She able to get me a great deal running the glasses through insurance, and then paying outright for contacts.
Hayley was so helpful assisting me with picking out the perfect frames, explaining the different lens types/coatings and a discussion around putting prescription lenses into sunglass frames that I already owned. It was like talking to my best friend! The doctor was informative and professional. The staff was great in finding out what my insurance ID number was since I no longer receive a card from my employer. I strayed once from VisionWorks and wont ever do that again! They truly care about their customers!
Not very impressed. Ordered contacts a few months ago and my one contact still isnt right. I went in Fri may 14th to talk to them about the problems with my contact. The girl said she will talk to the Dr and most likely he will order another trial pair that will be slightly stronger. Ive been waiting over a month to get the call back. Still nothing. So I called. Talked to some guy who works 3rd party answering phones for vision works. He then had to transfer me to the store. Surprise no one answered. Now he told me I have to wait for up to 24 hours for them to call me back. 1. It should not take a month to get contacts in. 2. I wanted to talk to the store. NOT someone in India. 3. Now I have to wait for them to call me back...I have to work tomorrow. Smh guess Ill just start going back to Walmart.
I been going here for a long time. The staff is extremely nice and knowledgeable. Very happy every time I go. Also Hayley was so great. A very nice person who helped me with picking out a really nice frame. Also I appreciate the time she gave to me opposed to many businesses these days that want to rush customers.
I had just gotten new insurance and was not certain how I was going to be able to afford my contacts and my glasses. My vision specialist Hayley went above and beyond to get me the best deal with my insurance. She was able to save me a ton out of pocket in the end. The Optomitrist was also excellent in forwarding my concern on out of pocket cost when I had informed her during the exam. Overall a great experience and would recommend to give Visionworks a closer look when needing new glasses and/or contacts
I have gone to Visionworks for a few years now and have absolutely zero complaints!!!! They get you in quickly & dont try to sell you extra bs that you do not need . I have never felt pressured to purchase anything more expensive. Today I had the opportunity to work with Hayley in picking out new frames and she is such a sweetheart!!! So glad I had her help today , we all know how tricky it can be picking out new glasses . I always recommend Visionworks to anyone who has ever asked where I recieved my glasses from . First time visiting Visionworks. The moment I walked in the door the young lady and gentlemen behind the counter checking me in made me feel like a long time customer! Went back for the eye exam and I was the last appointment of the evening and it seemed like the doctor was just going through the motions. I would like to go back, but possibly visit another optometrist. At this time I had already decided I probably wasnt coming back. However, this turned around as I was very impressed with the customer service provided to me from the remaining staff members. Hayley was exceptional, informational, and provided feedback on frames when I was undecided. She took the time to explain what my insurance covered and what my options were. She will be the reason I am a returning customer!
This was my first time with visionworks, and I could not be happier with my experience. It was easy to schedule my appointment and register. From the time I walked in to the time I left took only about a half hour and that included picking out my new glasses. The staff was all very polite and professional. The lady who helped me pick my glasses was very nice. They dont try to upsell you with a ton of features either. My glasses were ready the next day which was also a pleasant surprise. I will definitely be going back next year.
My experience here would have been lackluster if it wasnt for my optician Pete. He made choosing a new pair of glasses an excellent and enjoyable experience. Between how knowledgeable he was about the lenses and coatings and frame suggestions to his overall demeanor I would shop there again. Thank you for the great experience!
Pete was very helpful in showing me options with not only frames but the lenses as well. Even so much as to say which of my frame selections best suited me. This being my first time I’ve had to actually wear glasses it was nice to have someone resourceful and knowledgeable to guide me into what I may like and need. The process I went through was quick easy and the staff there were nice and informative. Could not have asked for a better visit. If I could give 10 stars I would.
This is the second year my son & I have come here for our annual exams & glasses. They are always prepared & we never have to wait. Every interaction with the staff was pleasant, they are courteous & helpful. Someone always takes the time to help me pick out the best frames & they have a great selection!
Walked in and got an appointment an hour later. Did a quick eye exam and Josie helped me choose my lenses. Very professional and friendly. She also gave a huge 25% discount, which I appreciate tremendously. I dont think the price was exorbitant,comparably speaking. She said the glasses will be ready in 7-10 days. From what I read in reviews, this is where the place fails: in prompt delivery. So Ill wait and do my 2nd review then.4 stars instead of 5 because they didnt have the selection I wanted and I had to get the glasses online elsewhere. 4 stars despite that because of prompt service and awesome staff.
AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I have worn glasses my entire life and the visionworks store in the millcreek mall has given me the best time I have had picking out new glasses. The staff was incredible! Especially Haily! Thanks again! They were all very professional and my glasses came earlier than expected! Highly recommend them for all your eye care needs!
We stopped in to see if they had clip on sunglasses for the glasses my husband purchased there. They do not so we inquired about prescription sunglasses. Faith D. was a wonderful help. She not only found the same frames and prescription from his last purchase, but also checked and saw that we were within the time that our insurance would cover them. She checked mine as well and found the same thing. For both of us, she calculated the difference between their sale and our insurance. For both of us the insurance price was great. Faith checked my prescription and also found the same frames that I had purchased here previously. From stopping in for cheap sunglasses to ordering prescription sunglasses for my husband and bifocals for myself in frames that we both love, Faith provided exactly what we both needed at a great price and savings, and was knowledgeable, polite and friendly on top of it all. She is one of the reasons we keep coming back!
Never needed presciption glasses before, cheap readers did the trick when I needed for using the computer. After starting to get frequent migraines I went to Vision Works to get a pair with glare coating for the computer. Hayley was great helping me pick out a pair and a pair of sunglasses to help with glare while driving. They ended up costing more than I anticipated, but again I never bought glasses before. Hayley told me her schedule for the next couple days because she wanted to see the final products on me and make sure I was happy with them. I am loving my stylish new glasses and sunglasses. Need to go back to get them adjusted a bit more, but 100% satisfied.
I went to visionworks today after not going to the eye doctor in 6 years. The dr. was great. They got me through quickly. Then it was time to pick out new glasses. Amy R. Was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She knew exactly what size and shape would fit me. It was a great experience and I’ll be looking forward to going back when it’s time.
Pete at visionworks did a superior job with helping me find 2 pairs of Nike glasses. After searching local areas in Erie for glasses that fit perfect but gave great style he introduced me to the ones that really fit my needs. I got a pair of black and a pair of brown ones that would go with the majority of my outfits. He was very professional while measuring and explaining what made the glasses different than the other ones I was interested in. I stop in every once in a while to have Pete tighten the screws and give thorough cleaning on the lenses. Visionworks is now my go to store when it comes to eye check ups and when Im looking for new glasses. Thank you Pete for the professionalism and will be in for future purchases
The Vision Works in the Millcreek Mall has the friendliest staff. They really do care about your needs. The staff takes their time help you pick out the right pair of glasses to suit your style. If youre looking for contacts they find you the pair thats right for you. The Optometrist are friendly and take the time to speak with you. I would definitely recommend going there.
I went in just to see if they took my insurance, they did and I was in a hurry so they took me immediately and had an eye exam and glasses in less than 2 hours. They were very organized and efficient. Alt was the person who assisted me. She was very nice and knowledgeable
Made an appointment online. Had to wait a week for 1st opening. Went to appointment. The main reason was for contacts. They said oh we can do eye exam but not contacts today. I am new to contacts. On my appointment I said for contacts and that I have never worn them. They said I would have to make a separate appointment next week. I then asked if I could at least get new glasses today. Oh sorry no our lab closes in 5 minutes. VERY POOR COMMUNICATION! Walked out. Dont recommended. We will not return. Dr are usually quick you get you in and out. No time spent with patient.
My trip to your erie location was definitely educational. i came in need to get my first pair of glasses and they also had to have a progressive. pete put up with me taking forever to pick a frame and was very helpfull picking them out with me. he then took the time to explain my prescription to me and also explain how the different type of lenses work, he wanted me to understand how my eyes work and how the glasses work, at no point did i feel as if i was just being sold stuff for the heck of it. i took over an hour of his time but he remained polite and extremely helpful, patient, and again he was very informative. this was a much better experience than i was expecting, i will be back in the future.
My wife and I were at our yearly exam and we asked about our new insurance and what the allowances were. We were originally told we could only get contacts OR glasses but not both. When we returned a week later to pick up a product and a very friendly representative named Elicia helped us and double checked or insurance only to find that we were covered for BOTH contacts AND glasses. While shopping around for glasses both she and another rep named Pete were very friendly and helpful. They were laughing and smiling with our children while my wife and I shopped around. It was an all around good experience... oh and not to mention the glasses and contacts were excellent too. Thank you Elicia and Pete!!
Visionworks within the Millcreek Mall always goes above and beyond for their clients. The customer experience I receive from the staff is always top notch...from my eye exam, picking out glasses, and adjusting them to perfection. Every time I order a new pair of glasses, they are ALWAYS ready before the time I am given, which is exciting! Everyone loves a new pair of specs!
The way this place manages their appointments is a joke. I have been getting confirmed appointment reminders to my phone about an appointment I had today, March 15th, at 10am for more than three weeks, with me pressing Y to confirm as the prompt asks. Turns out the mall (where vision works is located within) doesnt open until 11 even though the automated appointment system told me to be there at 10 - little irritating, but okay, Ill wait the hour.11am rolls around, I go inside and am told that even though my phone has been sending me confirmation emails with my appointment time and date for weeks that there was no appointment actually scheduled and that they get this all the time. The blonde girl working the front with glasses at this location actually encouraged me to call their corporate office, lol. They really must have this issue a lot, which is sad because its a waste of your paying customers time.I spent three hours killing time for this places errors today, only to be told my confirmed appointment isnt even real. I mean what the actual hell? Ive been trying to attach a screenshot for proof but my photo keeps getting deleted. Not sure why.Employees working the front couldnt careless, seems like they get this a lot and wanted to pawn the problem (us) off on their fellow co-workers when we returned to show proof of the confirmed appointment on my phone. They claimed they had called me a few days ago to only set up an appointment for me, but I never pick up bogus 800 numbers that I dont know due to innumerable spam calls.Technology has come a long way, find an easier and more convenient way of communicating with your customers. Any other doctors office or even restaurants Ive used text message appointment reminders or table ready reminders for isnt this freaking poor.Also, its pretty rich to ask me in confidence if I want to schedule a new appointment following all of this. I refuse to give money to a place that has been aware for some time of an issue of this magnitude that directly impacts their paying customers and chooses to sit by complacently while their pockets are lined.
Very happy to have found a place like this. Great customer service, friendly environment, works with you if you lack insurance, and a wide selection of glasses to choose from. Highly recommend going here if youre looking for a fantastic place to get your eyes checked out!!
I wanted to try something new. I asked about colored contacts. Katia helped me go through the different colors and was so patient with me. She answered all my questions regarding how my insurance worked with contacts. Since i have never had contacts before. I will be back.
Hayley and Amy are so gracious and helpful. Regardless of what you drop by for, they’re relentless at making sure you leave satisfied. Nobody wakes up in the morning thinking ‘gee, can’t wait to go to Visionworks,’ but if you’re fortunate enough to be helped by this team, it just might be the highlight of your day!
I always go to Visionworks for my annual eye exam to get new glasses and contacts and have always had a great experience. Today I also found out they are amazing at helping with eye issues as well! I had been experiencing dry eye and some eye pain the last few days so I called to see if they could help and they had me in with Dr. Landa within the hour. Dr. Landa was very kind and had me in and out with a prescription to help with my dry eye within 20 min of my arrival. I would highly recomend Visionworks and Dr. Landa for all your eye care needs!
They gave me the wrong contacts and I keep telling them that its wrong but they refuse to listen or do anything about it. I have the receipt that shows a different pair was ordered than what was suppose to be ordered but they refuse to do anything about it. Not going back
Sometimes you get what you pay for ... Meaning, for years I ordered my glasses online to save time and effort. But I kept ending up with an inferior product. So, finally I went to Visionworks and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Everyone I encountered was polite and professional. And Dr. Streilein was very thorough during my eye exam. In fact, he uncovered that I was having issues and referred me to an opthalmologist. As a result, I ended up having surgery on both of my eyes this past year. And unfortunately there were complications. So, my prescription changed a few times. But Pete K., never grimaced when I walked through the door. He was always more than happy to assist. And in fact, he realized at one point my opthalmologist had forgotten to add in my prescription for my progressives. And he personally reached out to the doctors office to make certain that it was just an oversight. Pete really did help me considerably to not only ensure that I had the correct prescription ... But he also took the time to explain some of the changes that were being made to help me see better. Unfortunately, I didnt fully understand my opthalmologists explanation. And I have never had an issue with prompt delivery. All of my glasses have arrived in the timeframe quoted ... So, I cant say enough good things about the staff at our Visionworks here in Erie, PA ... Especially Dr. Streilein and Pete ... They are both excellent!
Absolutely livid. I had an eye exam on the 22nd so I could get a prescription for my contacts. They convinced me to order my contacts through them, rather than 1800 Contacts because they assured quicker delivery for the same price. They estimated them to be available April 1st (Easter), which was 10 days, but the woman doing the ordering assured me they would arrive sooner, and I would receive a call. I even asked them if they were open on Easter to pick up, just in case it was the full 10 days. I was told is a snobby tone, yes, we will be open according to mall hours and she wrote the date on my slip and sent me on my way. So now, here I sit, April 1st, no contacts, and they arent open. I am livid. I will not be ordering contacts through them again.
First... the frames. They are decent at a generally decent price.Second... the exam. Ive been there twice for exams. Both times took ten minutes each total. They are NOT thorough. To live two years with a crap prescription is not fun. So I went to a competitor. And got them done. I can now read two more lines on the vision chart.Bottom line. No matter what. Get the exam somewhere else. Then get the frames and glass from here.
Set up an appointment with them I showed up early, and i didnt get looked at till a half hour after my appointment time. I ended up ordering contacts from them, two weeks later I still didnt receive a call from them letting me know they came in. I went in today and asked if they came in yet, an older lady at the desk was very rude, she had her phone out and was messing around on the computer. She asked for my name so I said my name and explained that i never received a call, but she didnt care she yelled again whats your name. I will never go through them again. POOR SERVICE
Every time I get glasses from here, they hurt my ears. The pair I have now are the 3rd pair I got from here. It doesnt matter how many glasses I get from here because theyll always hurt my ears. The people up here dont adjust them right. I dont know how but Im going to find a way to go to a different eye place.
I have developing cataracts in both eyes at the age of 43 and they are bad enough that they negatively affect my vision most days. However, when I spoke with the dr. about them he stated they werent bad enough for surgery. I can no longer read any small print and have quit reading books as a hobby. I avoid all night time driving as well, but this quack said they arent progressed far enough for corrective surgery. I will not be returning to them as I fear Ill go blind if left under this drs care.
It is my intention, in posting this review, to save others the trouble, time and potential eye injury of patronizing this store. It may not be true of all stores, but the VisionWorks in the Greeley Mall has a staff concerned with sales, not eye care. There are several great eye care centers in the Greeley area. Avoid this one.
Most of the staff were distracted and didnt actually listen to me. I went back in to get my glasses adjusted and the girl that did it (I dont know her name, she didnt wear her nametag) could not have seemed more annoyed that I was asking her to help me. I didnt get to finish my sentence explaining why they were bothering me before she loudly sighed and said let me see them. Im switching asap.
I was referred to visionworks by many people I have never had a bad experience one employee in particular named Pete was very patient and knowledgeable and I was very comfortable talking to him , he was fast , kind , and was able to steer me in my direction I was looking for , Definitely a model employee!!
Tried calling three times and could not talk to anyone. Left me on hold. Said they would call me back still waiting from 4 months ago from that.....called twice today to be put on hold again....never had such horrible service!! Will find another place to purchase glasses and get my eyes checked. Ridiculous!

2022-05-09I would definitely recommend Visionworks to anyone looking for a full service experience while purchasing their glasses. My husband and I were greeted promptly and were completely pleased with the entire experience. The staff were polite and extremely proficient in their job. The prices, and choice of frames and lenses gave you plenty of options to stay within your budget.

2022-02-17I set up my appointment online for Feb 17th at 3:45p. I arrived about 3:35. The attendant took me back right away to perform the pre exam testing which went very quickly. The attendant then said the Dr was running a little bit behind and asked if i would like to look at glasses. Still hadnt seen the Dr and it was 4:15p. I asked another attendant how long would it be and she said it could be another 30 min. I understand that sometimes appointments are running behind but over an hour wait is not a little wait and is unacceptable. I canceled the appointment because I couldnt wait any longer. I got 4 notifications of my appointment you would think they would have notified me that they were running over an hour late I would have gladly rescheduled but to have me wait is inexcusable.The other thing that I must mention is the dress apparel that some of the staff was wearing was not very professional to say the least and I had to ask myself several times what am I doing here. When trying on glasses many of them were so dirty I couldnt even see out of them. I must say the staff seemed to be pleasant for the most part. Ive been going to this location several years and its always been a good experience. Im sorry to say I will not return to this store and have already scheduled an appointment at another optometrist.

2022-02-28I go to Visionworks because they have a massive in-store selection of frames for me to try and get that look. I also go because they work with my insurance. My last visit I was paired with an employee named Chris. He was very attentive and helpful. He was able to keep a good conversation and add humor to the whole process, especially during the long painful process of insurance. Chris made the visit very pleasant and helped me pick my final frame offering options that I may have not considered because I am the type of person who tries to get the same thing over and over. I would recommend asking for Chris to help you pick out your frames if you want a truly amazing experience. The only bad thing about Visionworks is that with covid they removed their onsite labs so that instead of waiting an hour at the mall you will have to wait two weeks for your glasses. The customer service is defiantly worth the wait though.

2022-03-17Poor customer service. Paid for my glasses and was told they would be ready in 4-7 days. It took over two weeks. I contacted the store three separate times and one of the times I was told “I’m not able to help you sir” the other two they just pretty much told me they will be ready sometime. This company is only about taking your money and that’s all. Will never go back and will never recommend Visionworks to any friends or family.

2022-06-09Shanelle was hands down the best customer representative I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. She made me feel comfortable, confident, and happy when I left. She went out of her way to help me in every way she can and she really made me feel confident in both of the glasses I got. She was truly a superstar and if you’re looking for a great job place to go, walk in without an appointment and go visit Shanelle! So easy. So fast. 2022-03-04My 8 year old daughter had informed her teacher that she was having trouble seeing the board at school so I was able to get her an appointment within a few days. She was originally scheduled with a telehealth dr. however when we got there we were informed that she was going to see the in house Doctor. She saw Dr. Rigen Saltivan who was absolutely wonderful with my 8 year old! That being said I then had an 8 year old that did in fact need glasses and a two week wait for those glasses, which I then had to call to finally see whether they were in or not and the staff response was yeah theyre here....... OK THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW?

2022-05-22A wonderful place in the mall is vision works, if your nervous to get glasses or think you will look ugly or think you won’t understand they will help you out as much as possible, every single employee there is so helpful and friendly full of joy, but I’m glad I got blessed with Shanelle she was amazing every time I walk in there she is so positive and wonderful helped me get the best pair of gasses to the amazing world.

2021-10-02Visionworks is the best! This is the best place I have ever gotten glasses!! The reason I wanted to come here is because you can exchange them for any reason if you are not happy with them! The lab did an awesome job as I can see perfectly with my prescription and I have a very complicated one.FAITH and SHELBY are amazing employees. They were so nice and very helpful. They did everything possible to help me in anyway they could. I will always come back here in the future.
